┏━━━━━━━━┓ Aurelia Hayes ┗━━━━━━━━┛ ✬Deputy Head Mistress of Beacon Academy✬ Shadow Education Minister✬
It was only a matter of time before one of the students did something equally frustrating. It was important to be gracious in victory when standing in a glasshouse. "How is this for a handicap?" She asked holding up a silk scarf.
The rest of the trip was blessedly free from interruptions. There was the sound of gunfire whenever a Grimm got too close to the ship, and the occasional bump as the SS Avalanche hit turbulence, but nothing the couple needed to deal with. Just after the voice announced their safe arrival to Atlas, Aurelia emerged from the bathroom. Her hair was once more loosely tied back, not a stand out of place and her black suit looking immaculate. Did the Hayes have some sort of secondary semblance that allowed them to always look pristine? "It's been so long." She commented, stopping by the window. The white expanse of Solitas stretched ahead. It had been seven years since she had last seen the frozen continent. "It's beautiful but much more empty than I remember." Of course the last time Aurelia was here Solitas had been populated by the Kingdom of Atlas. The forts were full of people and machines. The skies had airships. Signs of life. Now there was just Fort Reed and vast emptiness.
There was a small bump followed by another announcement. They had successfully docked. Purple lights directed the way to the processing chamber. It seemed only three students had made it before herself and Sebastian. A Mr. Rin Fannar Rupa, one of their newer students, but he was from a tribe native to the former Kingdom of Atlas. Once he left the booth Aurelia stepped in to be scanned. "Are there a bunch of outfits on board or is there a bunch of sewing robots quickly making outfits?" Both seemed highly impractical. What about the boots that came with the outfit? On the other side there were two closed doors meaning at least one other student had went through the booth before Rin. After changing into an outfit that visually matched her suit, just with a lot more fur, Aurelia followed the military personal into Fort Reed, where outside she saw Mr. Henryk Adamiak. One of the Demon Faunus, but the least troublesome.

"..." Narx was pulled out of his thoughts with a simple 'hey' from the girl beside him. He didn't respond since he wasn't sure she said hey to him at all. Though he deep down knew it was towards him. He would awkwardly nod in response after a moment that was too long. This would cause him to purse his lips awkwardly and rub his palms on his pants. He would then lean back and put a leg up on his knee to the outside direction to not bother those sitting next to him. That is when the horned student would welcome him. "Team harem?" he said with confusion, but wquietly to himself An odd word for the team name, but it was funny, and the way the horned man spoke was indeed very welcoming. "Thanks, sorry for butting in on your movie." he whispered as to not upset those who were intently watching. After the movie he might enjoy a conversation with the group. He wouldn't be able to really pay attentiuon though. He would stare at the screen, but his mind would wander. Something just ate at him. Something about Atlas. Something about the horns on the guy on team Harem. Something about himself. It was a mixture of the feelings of déjà vu and sondering, and that feeling when you have a word at the tip of your tongue, but can't remember it. All of these things combined with existential dread of what was about to come. The movie would eventually end and a videogame would be put up. He would play a round or two, but his mind wasn't in the best place so he would go back and find Danaë who he would cuddle with for a while.
"You ever heard of team Harem? An odd name right?" he said to her at one point.
Narx would eventually make his way back to the assigned sleeping bunks with or without Danaë. Time for some sleep before they arrived. Eventually they would be over Solitas and an announcement would call them to prepare to leave the ship. "Time to gather our stuff I guess." He was not in the best mood, but having Danaë there really helped. He would make ready and head along the designated path. They would each get a set of customized winter clothes which Narx thought was really awesome. Something a bit unpractical maybe, but made him happier. He would don the suit and sit in the cold room that had rows of benches before the ship landed. "A new dawn, a new day. Let's go!"
Ylva would look to her partner on the tour and merely nodded as she would cover for her partner if she was asked about. Then near the end of the tour was the disturbance which she would not partake in. Rather, she was patiently looking out for her companion."Sure, we could,"She thought and said so. Leaving with Xanthe, she would take a muffin."Thanks,"The wolf muttered in a sincere tone.
In their cabin after finishing her muffin, she would look at the bed structures looking to the top she would call the opposite side of the room."It's more than enough space...we are just a team of two after all,"Ylva thought reasonably. She would then rest her weapon upon the bottom bunk. At the mention of Uno, her ears perked; though she had yet to win a match, she was slowly learning the game with much intrigue."Sure, lets play. Though frostbite will only happen if you get wet, right?"The petite wolf-girl retorted, and so they would do a few rounds. As for the request, she would smile agree to do so; having packed a travel sewing kit just in case."Now, time for sleep,"Ylva thought, and would rest for the remainder of the trip.
Upon the announcement of their arrival throughout the ship, the wolf would stretch and get out of bed. It was not as cold, but then again they were still in the ship where temperature was controlled as she understood it. (If Xanthe were not awake yet, the shark girl would be pounced on to wake her.) Much colder than Vacuo winter nights, she would quickly shower and change into her winter-made deer- and rabbit-skin clothes (fur cloak included). The change made, she would look to Xanthe when she was ready, their things packed and ready, weapons secured and away they would go."Fort Reed,"The petite wolf-girl muttered under her breath as they were with other students in a dark purple-lighted area now. It seemed they were to go through a machine now Her clothes did not change much but the skins were made thicker to be more cold-resistant she noted silently."Hm, that helps..."Ylva thought as they would walk out of the ship now.

Rҽιƙƙα Cҽɾυʅҽαɳ : Team CADT (Cadet)
Reikka didn't attempt the two from going down their separate paths this time. She merely sighed, closed her eyes and shook her head, her eyes no longer attempting to follow where their respective figures had gone through in the crowd, as she had begin to accept that it was simply not her place to calm them, no matter how much she wanted them to. She didn't even take what Val said and what Auburn spat out personally. But it was clear to her that this interaction was going to leave a deep mar in their team efforts for quite some time. But it was whatever to her at this point, she wasn't about to lose a limb trying to stop them if they ever went head-to-head. A fast-paced shooter and a feral berserker weren't a good combination against each other. But she was atleast grateful that Dee felt the same way about not getting in between their aggressive spiel. "Looks like its just the two of us, Dee." She began to admit with a sad tone, "Where do you want to go? I'll follow you." She asked, hoping he would have an answer to which direction they should go to for now. Then she noticed that he seemed to want to follow one or the other and shook her head again from left to right to protest, "I wouldn't bother. We should leave them both be for now. Besides, Val isn't in a good mood and Auburn is currently being detained, so I doubt we should go near them." There was plenty at stake for this mission, and she couldn't even keep them from going at each other's throats. As Reikka observed other people beginning to do last-minute passport checks and gather their members her eyes furrowed with worry. What should they do now? It was too late to pull out, so they'll have to take the situation as it was, and as it was going to come. Reikka balled her fists and signaled to Dee that they should began boarding soon. She didn't want to leave them behind though so she gave them time in order for them to catch up with the two of them later on.
Chloris was pleased with her gift and seemed even Henryk got a surprise, which was nice and expected; it was, after all, Remus and he looked out for his teammates as well as herself and their leader. And it was good to see them in good spirits at least. As they moved through the halls, she was relieved Remus followed their lead to stay out of any issues that occurred for now to their room. Soon though, they would move from their room to the entertainment area and she was glad to have her teammates with her; each with their own popcorn, respectively. While they sat down, it would be soon that the tall young man would sit beside her. After Henryk's friendliness, she would fulfill his request; though it seemed he was in a mood. Passing it back to her teammate, she would then enjoy the movie. Her attentions to the new person would be very little.
With the end of the movie, she would try to argue for an horror but, settled after some talk, for Ghoul School; not scary but still good. Afterwards, she would watch the boys play one or two rounds, getting sleepy as she did."Y'all have fun. I'm heading in for sleep,"Chloris said, politely excusing herself to walk back to their dorm. Once there, she would shower, change to pj's and sleep for the rest of the trip.
~~Timeskip~~
Getting plenty of rest, she would wake and rest in bed, having cuddled with a pillow since she did not have a kitty with her. She would then yelp with a jump from the announcement that they were beginning their descent to Fort Reed."Right, we're on a ship,"The young woman grumbled groggily; now awake from the scare. She would then walk over and shake her team leader to wake before getting dressed into warmer clothing, packing up and readied for leaving the ship."Hmm that will freeze out there."Chloris thought to herself. So, manipulating the plant Remus gave her, it would lengthen and wrap around her body, though not inside her skin...yet."Let's go,"Chlo said as they were now ready to go. It had been dark but interesting to see. It would've been more interesting if not so cold. At their turn, she would allow Henryk to go first then Remus before herself. Altering her clothing to something more...suited for the weather outside.

Xanthe Shaw
Xanthe wasn't sure what caused frostbite but was under the impression that it helped to be warm in either case. Even though Ylva was a novice at Uno, Xanthe was no master either and the match dragged on probably longer than necessary as she made some bad moves and had to pick up extra cards as a result. "Thanks. Do you think we'll have time after the mission to collect some more materials?" It was her first mission and she was unsure what the rules on R&R actually were, it hadn't seemed pressing before now. And now she was on board the airship and headed towards parts unknown it seemed even less like a question that would get a good answer. After Ylva had done the repairs she laid back and went to sleep, or at least closed her eyes and fell into 'Do not disturb' mode. Xanthe took this to mean the time for talking was over and followed suit, laying back on her own bunk. She had a short and dreamless nap that was cut short when Ylva jumped on her chest and kneed her in the stomach. "Gluurgh!" She let out an involuntary response and looked her her companion who was retreating to the bathroom. She put on her seal skinned coat and trousers, the material was both warm and waterproof, placed the gloves in her pocket and put the spear back on her back. "Nice cloak." She collected her pack, made sure she had collected everything and followed Ylva off the ship.
SEBASTIAN HYDRA / Shadow Minister of Defense-¨Im just a real sicko when you get to know me. It why I am a Hydra ¨
¨For how long as it been since I have had some alone time with you. Better hope it can hold me¨
~Time skip~
With the arrival finally to the continent that housed Atlas, the Hydra was glad no one interrupted for the rest of the trip. No news equal good news. His own love marks healing from his aura as he was growing use to the rules and regulations of the Hayes. Trust, their way of living still gets him in some aspects. It is amazing Aurelia was not a robot. ¨That is what happens when grim show up. I do not expect it to be a ghost town, but so far seems be no traces of life that has been reported. While most of those from Atlas lived a much more care free life there were still warriors and soldiers left in the past... No way they did not survive somehow.¨ It was purely speculation. He did not have to look outside to see the architecture. Atlas was his original home. It still was embedded in his brain even if it been many years.
Aurelia was quick to make it off the ship once it was docked. Sebastian took his time as he needed check a few things. An opposite end of the ship would open the Cargo hatch as soldiers started to take off the supplies. The students stuff...they paid no mind to. Some were treated with care while others were chucked like a fedex package. Bins would be rolled out that were color coded and had signs of dust on them. It seemed the soldiers were organizing them into a patter. Maybe some type of supply area? Catching up to his wife, he would connect his scroll to all communication systems at the fort and on the ship.
¨Please once you have exited the ship, go with your team and pick out a living area to claim as your own and make yourself comfortable. Mission briefings will be handed out shortly once everything has been settled in. Please note, as you are the first ones here the completion of your missions are of most importance. I suggest going over battle strategies and tactics. For the duration of your aid, the dust allotment has been doubled. Each person will have 6 large dusts and 16 smaller dusts. With the increase of allotment, please be careful and not get yourself blown up. For those of you who need a more comfortable way to transport dust do to increase, we do have tailors on hand that can weave dust into your clothing for the purpose of your missions. Curfew will be at 11:00 PM. If have any questions please ask any of the soldiers that are around. ¨ he would then look over to Aurelia.
¨Actually both. We do have tailors on hand but we also had some clothes pre-made. With the amount of people needing work and a living. It was easy to recruit some tailors to go on this journey with us. One of the good things of the crowding problem in Vale. ¨ He mentioned before making a call back to Vale. His scroll showed a no signal message on the attempt. He would try 2 more times before going to his connection settings. What he saw did not surprise him. He just hoped they were lucky. ¨We have no communications with Vale at this time. Seems the communications is down and need to be fixed. Have any technological students?" He wondered while sending a message to his team in the group chat. Some soldiers would quickly run by, heading deeper into the fort. ¨Only way get information now is send the ship back and forth but that gonna cause issues. I rather do it as a last resort.¨ A sigh escaped his lips.
¨So, tell me about these little ones that are joining us?Hopefully they are not as problematic as the Auburn girl right?"
“Beware of those that are slow to anger, for when it is long coming it is the stronger, for when it comes, and the longer kept, Abused patience turns to fury”
=========================================================================== Nikolas could not believe his eyes when he saw the announcement, but there it was. They powers that be were moving on Atlas. He absolutely knew that he needed to be on this one. Teamwork housing and assignments be damned, he NEEDED this. Gathering his belongings, Nicolas busied himself the night before the operation by composing a message to his old signal buddies Louisa Gris Oscuro Lobos, Jean-luc Foenix and Helen Blonde. He tried calling but wasn’t able to connect to them. That bugged the hell out of the young huntsman but he was able to calm himself down and rest after sending his message and performing the meditative art of weapons maintenance.
Morning arrived and Nikolas sallied forth, unsure as to what this mission would bring. Many unknowns awaited him but he would seize this opportunity with both hands and face it squarely head on like the proud Son of Atlas he was.
“Here’s your passport young man, I wish you luck on your mission”
With those words echoing in his head Nicolas boarded the airship and hiked up his bags and gear with the practiced ease of one who found himself on the move. The landing pad was massive and the airship with landing crews was equally large. He could not help but be pleased by the assembled group of Huntsmen and Huntresses that were milling about on the tarmac. Striding purposefully, he entered the crowd of his peers and did his best to mingle. Nikolas knew that he was an oddity. A singular student of Beacon, a first year at that, but he could not let that deter him.
His Scroll rang out and Nicolas quickly found himself engrossed in a call with his old gang of friends from his days at Signal. His friends were a study in contrasts. Jean-Luc outgoing as ever, was gung ho and had nothing but praise for Nikolas’s decision to join on this meeting. Louisa was more reserved in her support of her friend’s decision, her tail constantly twitching and wagging visibly behind her. a tell she always had that indicated her mood. Last but not least was Helen, dear Helen. She was rapidly alternating between berating Nikolas for his uncharacteristic impulsiveness, providing him with advice on how to survive in cold weather climates, and informing him of exactly she was going to shove her weapon in his anatomy if he did not come back from this excursion.
Friends are the family that you get to choose indeed. ===========================================================================
Danaë would keep and eye on Narx. She knew she couldn't smother him all the time, however, he didn't seem to be enjoying things as much as he normally did. When he finally came over to rest his head on her shoulder, she would rub his head and his sides. She didn't know why, but he liked his sides rubbed, almost as much as she liked middle of her head rubbed. She woudl take a deep inhale, a little hoot coming as as she exhaled. He would mention Team Harem. "Beacon isn't the best at naming if you haven't noticed." She would chuckle. They had many different team names over the years. However, her favorite would have to be their current team name, Team Sweetheart. Narx was her sweetheart after all. It was just sad that Asger and Eve had to leave the team.
Danaë would follow him into the sleeping quarters. Well, that wasn't true. She followed him into his bed. He seemed to need comforting, so this time, Danaë would hold him against her all night, not caring if he messed up her feathers. She would wake up next to him. He actually awoke before her for once. "It seems so, how are you feeling?" She would then get dressed into the outfit they wanted her in. It appeared they were prepared for an owl faunus. Her face would go blank. Was her mother interfering with her mission again? Maybe it would be worth it if she wasn't freezing out in the lands of Atlas. "Owl be ready for anything today brings." Danae would chuckle at her own pun.

Dee would nod guessing it would be a waste of time to go after the two. Holstering his weapon and pulling out a notepad and pen, Dee started writing, before turning to notepad to her written on it " Are you Hungry?". Before everything went down he was planning on getting something to eat its been a few hours since his last meal and he was getting a little hungry. Patting his body to make sure he had everything that belonged to him on him he hooked his thumb further in and started on his way to the cafeteria. He would make sure to match the pace of Reikka if she came along. Dee would flip through his notepad and turn it to Reikka as they walked. There was a number of pre-written questions, such as "how are you Feeling, can you speak/understand sign, Are you tired?". Dee felt a little out of place not sure how to keep up a conversation. Feeling relieved once he got to the cafeteria. Without reservations, Dee would order as much food as they would allow him hoping to walk away with a least a meal fit for three people.

Auburn remained where she was, getting more and more agitated as it seemed the military was content to just let her sit there cuffed. Finally, it seemed they'd arrived and she made her way with the rest towards the exit. Eventually, her things would be returned to her and she'd be uncuffed and she just shouldered her massive sword with one hand. All she had wanted to do was blow off some steam with some exercise, but, everyone seemed hellbent on deliberately keeping her as uncomfortable and irritable as possible. She pushed past her team as they disembarked, speaking to no one. She was starting to question the people she was with now. Reikka meant well, but, the girl was indecisive. Dee, she couldn't really get a read on too well, but, he seemed a loner himself and about as passive as Reikka. And Valleria...well...turned out she was an outright b***h who'd likely get her head lopped off by someone because she didn't have the sense to keep her ******** mouth shut. With any luck, Auburn wouldn't need to bother with her for much longer. But, they were here for a job. And that job probably offered plenty of opportunity to beat the living s**t out of things. So, she decided to focus on that.

Remus watched the other guy in the entertainment room for a time. Since he seemed uninterested or otherwise too lost in his own head to pay them much mind he figured there wasn't much reason to pay him much in return. As such the first movie passed in relative peace a quite. The only disturbance being Chloris and Henryk moving about. Remus glanced at them briefly before turning his focus back to the move. Though with a slight grin now. The first movie finished up and while the other two argued for a bit on whether or not the next one should be of the horror genre Remus flipped through his scroll. There was no message from Ella to be seen and he sighed softly before putting the device away again. It would likely loose signal with before too much longer as the ship moved further from Vale and the communication towers the government there maintained. As for Atlas who even knew if general purpose towers were still in working order there. Their scrolls could very well be rendered useless beyond short wave radio like comms.
The next movie was Ghoul School. Remus had no idea how Henryk managed to talk the horror pushing Chloris into agree with that suggestion. She did though so that was what they watched. Remus had never seen this one before so he made sure to top off his snacks and get back to his chair before the show started so as to not miss anything. After the second movie was finished Henryk switched up their activities. Even roping one of the random soldiers on board the ship into helping out with the set up. The guy joined in as well. They called it a tournament but with just Henryk, Remus, and the soldier it was more just a free for all brawl. Chloe hung around to watch. If she was encouraging him or Henryk he had no idea because Remus was in a zone. Every match they played Remus would swap out his character and then proceed to dish out a thrashing to the others which allowed him to carry the majority of the wins and thus the win for the tournament as well. When they finally wrapped up Remus put his controller up and playfully made a hissing sound like escaping steam and commented, "When you're hot, you're hot. Next time I am in a zone like that we should switch to one of those co-op challenge games and see how far we can get on one of the insane difficulty levels." Remus felt like he could get to round 100 on zombies right now. Chloris was already gone and with Henryk also heading that way Remus opted to go along after checking the time and figuring how much longer it would be until they arrived.
-- -- -- -- --
Remus had laid down to relax when he got to the room and at some point drifted off. He laid sprawled on his bunk with his head resting on his arms which were up and crossed behind it to serve as a pillow. All he needed to perfect this form of napping was a wide brimmed hat covering his face. The announcement was too quite to rouse him. What woke him was instead Chloris's started yelp. The moment after the girl had yelped her bunk jolted with a thump which was swiftly followed by a grunt and muttered curse. Chlo's startled call had woken Remus and immediately set him to try getting up as the sound was distressed enough that his first instinct was to get ready for a fight or something. If Chlo moved to look over the side of her bunk to the lower side she'd see him with a nice red lump on his forehead that he was nursing via a massaging rub. He would eventually try that all again. getting out of the bunk without hurting himself this time. He only knew about the arrival after the quiet voice repeated it before the purple disembarkation lights came on.
After they had woke Henryk they left the room to follow the dots on the purple light bars. They lead them to a room with a placard next to the door that read "Out-Processing". Everyone coming to the room was lined up to take their turn at the machine that for the most part was the room's sole item of furniture, if furniture could really be deemed the right term for it. Its purpose was quickly made evident just by watching for a bit. When it was their turns Henryk went first getting an outfit made of heavier cloth and a matching parka. Remus was second. For him the scanner and AI gave him a winterized version of his usual outfit. Heavier fabric in the pants and top with a much smaller V neck. Insulated boots to replace the normal pair and gloved bracers. It replaced the white mantle with a full length white cloak with some kind of short white fur lining the inside. Remus pulled it all on and found the cloak was not only plenty warm when closed but comfortably warm even when he opened. He had to also give it bonus points considering the frosty terrain out there. Take your eye off him in this thing and he would disappear into the snowy surroundings. The scout in him liked that. Remus pulled the cloak's hood up and waited beside Henryk for Chloris. The scanner and Ai had given her a more winterized version of her clothing in a similar way as it had him. Bulking up the fabric a bit and adding some fur with an appropriate bit of fashionable cutting here and there.

While Dee was having his meal with Reikka, he started up a small conversation with his notepad and a little sign language, if she could understand it. He wondered if they could understand him if he stopped using the extra time to write down what he was thinking and just sign language to get his point across. Putting a veil over his face before starting to eat covering his mask as he pulled it off and put it into his bag around his waist not wanting to get food stuck in it and, so he wouldn't disturb anyone else in the room. He would also ask about her, mainly why she became a hunter and what she thinks about the mission at hand. After a little time passed he would write down that they should check on the other two he didn't have a good feeling about splitting the team this thin and wanted to have some type of plan if this goes south, as he was thinking about this an announcement came out letting them know that they have arrived. Taking his tray and walking to clean off the scraps and grabbing an apple or two to give Auburn something to snack on. Turning to Reikka and giving her a small bow, holding up his notepad on it written: " going after Red Hare, Meet up outside" after that, he would leave and start looking his missing teammate went. Dee Would start to slide through the crowd trying to get around to find Auburn it was not going to be too hard to find her giving she did kind of stick out with just how big she was. catching a small glimpse of her he started to head to her. It took a bit of time getting past the checkpoint to get his gear and what not but Dee felt he would be able to catch up as long as she didn't go running off.

Forget the past I define me and no one can change that....
Apollo once he was done following the music of Rin looked at him and chuckled between breaths shaking his head and feeling he had done all of his physical activity for the year because of that. Rin seemed genuinely pleased with the little display Apollo put on with the music, though Apollo felt he was being much more generous with his words. Surprised is right. I didn't think I would keep up as I did, I must hand it to you you are incredible with that thing. Apollo said before nodding feeling the relaxed walk of exploring the ship and conversation was nice. Naps being taken here and there are welcomed as Rin slept so did the lemur enjoying the time spent lounging about.
Apollo awoke shortly after Rin a bit disappointed but ready to go out as Rin was despite the outfit they were given Apollo, once a spot was free went to change and kept his own signature robed top and boots, feeling more comfortable with those that was given. Apollo looked to Rin noticing a certain sense of relief almost, a bit curious as to why but he had a decent hunch, stretching lazily the lemur wished to get rid of the last bit of drozziness before speaking. I assume knowing Beacon they are just overly protective of students. Apollo said answering Rin's question about being prepared. That aside you seem abnormally relieved to be here despite what could be waiting in the cold. Any reason for the optimism?.
....It will hurt alot less when you all finally realize that.
