The petite blue-haired human smiled to the girl, understanding the displeasure towards the carni, before they would be in the carriage together. Though she had introduced herself, Chloris quietly noted the girl seemed to be in a daze (?), but she would not address it just yet."Bit of a strange one, but seems nice,"She thought absently as she held out her hand still. Mossy green eyes would glance over the white wings though as they moved. The young woman was relaxed by the smile that the winged faunus returned, and a bit surprised with the slight bow before learning her name; Yui Estelle de Lioncourt. Feeling the marks on the girl's palm, Yui would feel light calluses on Chloris'."You don't owe me anythin', honest. He's lucky I didn't do anythin' worse,"She replied truthfully as their hands now rested at their sides.
Her smile was soft and kind towards Yui as she expressed some excitement, making the petite young woman blush a little."I just know how to handle bullies, that's all,"Chloris said kindly before she would place her backpack on on of the seats. From inside the rather wide hole, a feline head popped out and seemed to look around curious, it was then that they were being submerged under the ocean."Behave, now,"She gently chided the cat who slinked out and jumped only the pod floor with a lazy stretch."I hope you don't mind, this is Ciara Binx,"She said, introducing the rather chill cat...although Ciara seemed distracted with pawing to catch a fish...

Maokai’s eyes closed with excitement as the girl offered to walk around as friends, it was the exact reason he wanted to go to the festival “of course I would want to enjoy the carnival together as friends! I don’t think I will call it saving your life though… but still, I’m glad was here to stop what happened, oh it’s your first day as well? I planned to go here right before heading towards beacon” he said as he followed wherever she was heading “team huh? Well, I haven’t check yet, I wanted to keep it as a surprise, where I am from huh…?” Maokai got a bit nervous as she asked this question, he couldn’t tell her the truth, if he did she would run away like every normal person would, Maokai shook his head and said “w-well I am from an orphanage nearby, my parents died when I was twelve and ever since then I live here in Vale” he wasn’t entirely lying, he did live in an orphanage and was without his parents ever since that age but they are not dead as much as he wishes they were. The two continued to wander around and enjoy the carnival until a rumble could be heard from Maokai’s stomach “ups, guess I am a bit hungry” he laughed nervously “do you want to go get something to eat? I heard there is a great noodle booth around here, what do you say err… I just realized I haven’t asked your name yet” he was a bit embarrassed, walking around with a new person without showing some interest, something he shall fix very soon.
"I haven't checked my team either." She began to trail off as she thought about it. And when he mentioned that he grew up in an orphanage and had no parent, she snapped out of her contemplative mood and paused for a second, surprised, and then turning to look at him slowly. "Ah, I see... well, you should be convenienced to hear that I, too, lost my parents a long time ago, when I was very young. And, I was raised by a priest whom I had to say goodbye to very recently." She had a sheepish expression at first, but then it broke out into an even more embarrassed smile, but it wasn't bashful; merely accepting in its expression. As if to say, it is what it is. Then his stomach growled, prompting a small giggle from Shamille. "Lets go grab some strawberry funnel cakes over there, those look delicious. Unless you want something less light and fruity?" She motioned in the direction to their left where a fairly short line was indicated to show that people were lining up for food. The day kept worning on, and people passed by in the background and all over the place, some stopping by here and there to check what the booths offered, and some people rushed to join in on the festivities and rides.
Shamilla had never thought that she would get pleasant days such as this one, innocent days when she was free to be the teenager that she was and she didn't have to worry about her head getting chopped off or her hands getting shredded by some Grimm. She didn't often have a time to just simply relax, and she was in a particularly good mood because of this, relishing in the moment when she could be free to be herself and grow as a person. Though of course, she knew this would not last for long. She came to a school that was designed for battling and fighting Grimm. So it was natural to assume that the good moments would not last or would only happen every now and then, which just happened to be few and far inbetween. But no matter how much it nagged her at the back of her mind that her life could be in danger any moment, just like what happened to her and those two students, she did not allow it to spoil the moment. Especially since she had Maokai with her. No, she was going to enjoy this day without any sort blemish.

Maokai stopped moving as he heard her mentioning she lost her parents, his expression was of sadness at the fact he knew she was probably telling the truth while he lied “I… I’m sorry to hear that, I didn’t want to surface those memories of losing them, I just hope they weren’t anything like mine” he then shook his head “j-just forget about that ok? A strawberry funnel cake does sound delicious but I think I would rather have dinner and then the dessert rather than the other way around. What do you say we go eat something a little more filling up and then we will go for the funnel cake, sounds good?” he said with a small smile, one that did not show his teeth at all as his head started to move around, looking for a good place to eat though he much preferred for her to choose somewhere, he wanted his new friend to enjoy the food as well after all “by the way, what is your name again? I don’t think I asked it yet, also what do you say we check our team name once we sit down and eat? I’m curious to know where we end up being” . Post count: 4

The young butterfly was still a little shocked in all honesty, though she had a feeling she should not have been."It IS a citywide event..."Diana chastised herself mentally before Zach answered her question, confirming what she had thought. Her smile would lighten as he complimented her on her outfit."Thank you."She replied before she would follow after O.
To the human male's question, Di only nodded."Of course...There's nothing like it back home,"Diana responded happily, openly curious as she looked to the blurry mega-machine wheel. Though she could not see it in clear vision until within twenty-five feet of it, she still admired how magnificent it was."He seems pretty relaxed today,"She figured mentally as her eyes glanced to Oswald.
It did not leave her ears that the moth and her team leader would be hot on their heels. Though she wondered how this machine would work, she was curious how the Moth would react to it."Hmm. Okay,"Diana thought to herself. Looking to Oswald as they were not that far ahead of Zach and Misery, she would ask permission while they moved through the line. If given so, she would pay admissions for Oswald as well as herself before they would walk onto the pod on their turn."I wonder if it will compare to actually flying,"Diana pondered this aloud as she would fold her wings tighter around herself, while keeping her lantern staff close. It would be a pleasant surprise to have M and Z join them if they were quick enough that is...
'That's what she's worried about?!' He mentally thought as he heard her response before he sighed and shook his head while he still held onto her shoulders before she soon suddenly grabbed his collar and asked him the question. "Ack!" He grabbed her hand with his free right hand and soon said. "The professor won't remember much considering the doctors said she blacked out. So she's likely not to remember and no, I don't believe Adam knows Atlesian lingo." He told her before he brought her hands down and soon said. "Sweetie, you should've be so scared because of a word. I panicked when I was saying it because I didn't want to lose you." He told her softly before he pulled her into a hug. "Besides, it's not like we've bedded eachother."

Tsuki was very much enjoying the atmosphere that would surround her teammates; it was always so positive. Though it did not escape her notice of Astra's reactions, she would wait to address them as she had gotten distracted with the underwater excitement."You cannot keep it, Rowan. Unfortunately...but, you can come and visit Tutuna from time to time."Tsuki retorted leaning back to give her partner a better chance to see it."Dolphins are actually sea mammals, not fish."Tsuki added matter-of-factually before they would again greet the sun and head towards the skies.
Rowan's freaking out had not bothered their cool and calm leader as she looked out once more; her focus seeming to be on the outside. That is until she would feel the raccoon moving closer to herself. Giggling softly, she would reach up and ruffle the young man's hair in typical sibling playfulness. His reactions reminding her of her little sisters.'I think Fuyuko would like him,'she thought absently before speaking after Ryker tried to calm the boy down in his own way."Ryker's right. It's alright Rowan,"Tsuki reassured him through chuckles. Then he was better by seeing birds; typical Rowan. Smiling and shaking her head, she would turn icy-blue eyes towards her other teammates with a warm smile.
At Ryker's question, she frowned thoughtfully, seriously pondering. hen she decided the truth was the best option."My family's been going to Beacon since it was first built and established. So, it's sort of like tradition/legacy for the Tora family..."Tsuki replied before looking to Astra with a tilt of her head and curious icy-blue gaze.'I have her here...Time to ask,'she thought.
After everyone had answered with their reasons for coming to Beacon, she decided to ask outright."So, Astra, what's with the occasional flashes of frowns? That's not like you at all,"Tsuki inquired bluntly, her tail swaying as she waited.'I hope it's not something I did...'she suddenly thought, not sure if she really did anything. Her expression showed only genuine curiosity and concern for her teammate."Please don't try to deny it...I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice your usual bubbliness is lacking a bit,"Tsuki would comment if she tried to deny it.

He was not going to lose to a butterfly if he could help it. His mind not even taking the time to process all he had learned in conversation with Z quite yet; He would see O and D go to some long line of people, and not thinking any of it, Misery would go to the front. Thinking the people were pointlessly waiting in line rather than just getting on. Sticking his tongue out at Diana as he passed her by. However, once he got to the front and actually tried to just walk on up, he was stopped by the person manning the ride. "Why do you stop me?" He would ask, confused by the person denying him entrance, till he explained how the line was for the ride and he couldn't skip it. Looking back at the line...he scowled slightly, but nodded to the person and walked back. Hiding his expression of disappointment so the butterfly wouldn't see it. Not even giving her a glance as he walked back into the line...pushing through people, as it was a rope line, till he was next to Z but behind D and O. Neither of which would let him past him; mostly cause there was no space. The moth was internally fuming...but less at the butterfly for once and more at his bad decision making. If he had prioritized the line, he may have gotten past them.
Being stuck in line all he could do was think, so rather than fume pointlessly he discard the emotions and focused more on processing information he had gathered. That Z had some job of assembly line...whatever that meant. And that he too was not used to events this full and loud. While the conversation may have ended a bit ago, the moth chose to respond now. "This one place has more people than my village." He would say, though would elaborate no further than that. Not even looking at Z as he was saying it and looking more to the sky; seeming different than the one from back home. He would be taken out of his thoughts by Z saying he would pay for him to make up for him not wanting any of the sweets. This confused M for a moment as he had forgotten about that, having the arena match as his more "recent" assessment of their lead. But...the moth would nod appreciatively. "Thank you." He would simply say. Not having realized he actually had to pay for this ride till now. So he couldn't really ride it without someone paying for him... 'This does not make us even.' He thought to himself...even if it helped a little. Z would call outside window seat, which confused M till he specified the part facing the city for pictures. Why he wanted to save images like that the moth did not understand, but he was fine sitting anywhere once inside. He just had to beat the damn butterfly...Unfortunately, with Z paying for him, M was not allowed inside until after D, Z, and O. Making him grumble slightly, but he was soon on as well. He would take the seat furthest down; since that end of the ride faced the ocean, and the ones closest to where they entered faced the city. Incidentally, this left M directly across from O. With Z potentially next to Misery. Though a question sprang to mind as he looked out to the giant pool of water. 'Water can be soo big without land? What happens now?' He thought to himself, distracted as he look out at the water. Confused how to feel or what to make of it. ☪ Post count: 18 ✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘ ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄
Shamille smiled with her eyes squinting gently as she spoke, "Oh no, its perfectly alright. I'm telling you this because I want you to know what you're getting yourself into." She seemingly joked on the surface. Afterwards he made up his mind about what he wanted to eat in succession, "Ah, that makes. Let's get a filling meal and then return for the funnel cakes." She put her pointer finger on her chin, appearing to be in mock-thought, "Now, what do you want to eat? There's typical food such as burger, pizza and hotdogs on a bun or stick..." She trailed off, turning to the stands that wafted the scents of the foods she just mentioned. She WAS starting to get hungry, but she was not one to sullen her appetite by being gluttonous. When he mentioned about checking their teams she merely nodded in agreement. "Sounds good! Let's not forget to do that after we've eaten." She started to head towards the big meal stands, walking slightly ahead of Maokai. It was getting a little quiet between them so Shamilla decided to answer his last question, "And my name is Shamilla, but you may call me Shamille or 'Shammy'." After letting her words settle she turned to Maokai and gave him a slight but mysterious smile.
XXXChloris knew how to prod the girl into smiling, even if it was only partially. She truly appreciated the blue-haired girl's intervention, and as simple as it seemed, she'd take it to heart as well. Even more so at her followup remark involving bullies, though her cheeks were noticeably flushed. Had Yui said something odd..? It wouldn't surprise her, not anymore. She still had so many difficulties with social cues and interactions, not even knowing how to properly address a remark about bullies. .. Well, now that she thought more about it... That red-haired horse faunus, Auburn, seemed rather cruel in her own regard. Not in the same spectrum as the crude ride operator, but still quite unsavory in her own right. Had her own intervention then been to dispatch a 'bully?' .. The world may never know, as she had other matters to focus her attention on. Her intimidation factor, use of aura, and open usage of a semblance. That wasn't common among normal civilians, and she looked far too young to be either part of the military or a huntress... That left the options pretty limited. "The way you used your aura... You wouldn't happen to be a student of Beacon as well, would you?" She inquired curiously, wondering if there was any particular reason why she hadn't encountered the girl before. If she was a student of Beacon, she'd find it even odder that she hadn't seen her roaming the halls. ... Though, with Yui preferring flight, it wasn't often that she was indoors unless it was for class. Still, there was a chance that Yui looked over her student records in her aid work without even realizing it; that's how it was with many students.
Although Yui's facial expression had barely shifted, it was her eyes that gave away her awe and curiosity at the furry head creature that began to emerge from the backpack. In fact, it had drawn her attention more than the sight she had been so determined to see that she endured public embarrassment. The curiosity in her pale blue hues was almost childlike, following the furry creature as it leaped down to the floor of the pod with a well-deserved stretch. She knew what this was; at least, she was certain of it. "Not at all, Ciara is more than welcome to join the journey." She said softly, her eyes fixated on the creature. This little creature was a feline, a household cat. She had seen them in picture books, read about them in novels, and seen them referenced in media. It also wasn't uncommon for a faunus to be similar to that of a cat, being one of the most common with the wide variety of felines in the animal kingdom. That woman, Kendall, was a lioness herself. With all that to reference mentally, it hadn't prepared her at all for seeing one in flesh and fur. That being said, it was much smaller than she had ever imagined seeing in person. She watched in fascination, rather amused by how easily it was entertained by a passing fish. ... Then again, she was one to talk, being so easily entertained by a cat who was pawing at a fish. "I've never seen one before.." It was... Cute. She had trouble prying her eyes away from the furry creature, all while the clock ticked by as they rode beneath the water's surface.

Even though no one was close enough to hear, Azura could feel her face flaming at Cecil's last comment. Luckily Cecil couldn't see her face either. "The rest of the school doesn't know that.... Nor should they." She would die if rumours started going around about Cecil calling her a bint, and he countered by telling everyone they hadn't slept together. An entirely fictional scenario that was running away in her head. However, Cecil's arms were comforting as were his words about not wanting to lose her. It really was a close call. Adam or Ridley would probably make a joke about indestructible right now, but Azura wasn't so witty. Instead, she settled for giving Cecil a tight squeeze. "Shall we finish our blondies?"

The petite female would smile kindly, glad she could gain a smile from the feathered girl. She seemed so shy, to Chloris it was quite adorable; as for the blush, she was able to push away her slight embarrassment for now."Praise is not a strong suit of mine,"She thought to herself. As they looked to one another, it would seem both were taking not of the other. With deduction, Chloris would guess she too was a student. So, when the question was asked, she would nod slightly."I am. 'A' in Team Harem,"She replied honestly before, Yui's inquiry confirming her assumption. Though, one she herself was not used to seeing on campus very often. Chloris made a quiet note to pay more attention to those at Beacon from now on. It was a little embarrassing to think they might have passed one another in the halls, but never noticed.
It was after that affirmation to herself that she realized her company's attentions would turn to her feline companion and saying Binx was more than welcome to join them. Hearing this had made the young woman very pleased. Binx meanwhile had been transfixed on the fish while they were underwater."That's good to hear then. Thank you,"Chloris said softly before looking around at the underwater wonders of fish, but most of all, the underwater plants. Absently, she would set her staff down on the seat closest to her.
Binx on the other hand seemed to have no idea or (more likely) cares that she was being observed as she continued to paw at the glass barrier that kept her from a fish on the other side. Chloris took quiet interest and note of Yui's reactions to her kitty, a small smile on her lips. Admittedly, her comment made Chlo surprised."You've really never seen a cat before,"She inquired, though blunt, her tone was not criticizing or mean in any way. More-so, she was genuinely intrigued. Though she didn't see any signs of allergy, it suddenly gave her thought."Are you allergic?"Her expression turned to one of concern now as she did not want to accidentally cause the discomfort of the kind young gentlewoman...

Astra would stay glued to the side of the tank. Oh, so the fish was a Dolphin, and it's name was Tutuna! "It looks like it would be the best pet, along with a Phillip!" Astra had kept animals out of the farm, why couldn't they have a deer and a Dolphin?! Sure, you would need a big tank, but the fish...No, mammal. If it was a mammal, why wasn't it walking around like them? There were so many questions, but she didn't want to ruin anything.
They would rise out of the water, and she would stay glued to the side of the wall. It was so pretty, the way the water dripped down. "It won't fall, plus, if it does, we can all hold onto the Umbrella!" She watched as the birds seemed to fly around them. Was this how it felt to fly?! She had gone to the top of the farmhouse plenty of times to help with the Grimm.
Then the question was asked why they came to Beacon. Her tail would flatten a bit, but not to the degree it had before. Tsuki said she came because of her family had always done so, since the beginning of the school. That was so cool! Ryker didn't say why he came though. "Oh, oh! I know this one! I came to Beacon so I could travel the world! I saw so many cool pictures in a magazine, that I wanted to see some of them, like the blossoms in Mistral, or the snowy peaks in Mantle, oh, oh, and an oasis in Vaccuo! I also want to climb to the peaks of Vale too!" She would leave out how she tricked her mother into thinking she was just going into town to sell veggies. She took the tests, and she passed the combat ones, just not a lot of the knowledge ones. When she got the letter in the mail, she went and packed her bags without telling her parents, they would never approve of her leaving the farm.
Then after all the questions were asked, Tsuki decided to ask why deflated earlier. Wait, they could see that? Of course they could...they had been a team for almost 6 months now! Why was Astra being so stupid? She was supposed to fake the happiness. Always fake it in front of others. In her normal bubbly voice, "Oh, I'm fine, I just had a moment! Yeah, just a moment!" She didn't want to admit that she liked Rowan, in front of Rowan yet, and the thought of her losing him to someone far more beautiful than her sent her back into her old way of thinking. No, she was fine, everything was fine.
Then, a message would appear on her scroll. If Ryker looked over, he would see it was a message from a contact named "Evil witch." Her ears and tail would go flat, and her tail would twitch in irritation. The message was a Amaranth. I know you are at the festival, get over here so we can go home." She would then look up at Ryker, and hide her scroll in her dimension, almost throwing it in there. There was a look of fear on her face, something they had never seen on her. They didn't even see fear on her face when the Goliath was charging her down, trying to kill her. She would look at the rest of them. "This is fine, this is just a moment." The bubbles in her voice seemed to have popped. She was clearly looking for ways to escape the cabin they were in.

Maokai was relieved, seems like she was ok with telling him about the situation with her parents, but unlike her, Maokai wouldn’t easily say the truth about that topic. “hmm... which food do we want to eat” Maokai would think out loud as the food was his weakness, he just liked too many things to choose, it was the hardest question she could ask him! “what do you say we go eat a burger? Nono wait maybe… ugh it’s so hard! Could you decide for us maybe?” he asked while scratching the behind of his head out of embarrassment, though it quickly faded away as she told him her name and that they shall check their teams “sounds good Shammy! I shall remember that name for sure” Post count: 5
Team: TRRA ///// Racoon Faunus///// Student///// Ex-thief What's up?: Carnival!!! Where am I?: Outside! Who are my peeps!? Astra! Ryker! Tsuki! Ooc; <><><><><><><><><><><><><><> The hint of tension from one teammate was obvious, however, the rest of the party's reactions had went over his head. All the excitement and nerve wracking experience was a mixture of fun and fear put together into one. Rowan couldn't contain all the expressing on everything. Even the sky view for the team had been picking up to be a beautiful sight regardless. He was still nervous about the ride falling though. They could all keep telling him things would be alright, and he trusted them all full hardheartedly. The imagination he possessed had that triggering effect of remaining in his mind. He was at least refraining from that mind soaring to another sort of alternate universe of quirkiness. That quirkiness was his forte, but for once, it had itself locked down in his chest. The ride was partially to blame. Other things had overcome that blame. Worry for his teammates, the secrets he was always trying to hide, the fear of shadows from those secrets sneaking up, and choking his dreams into dust. Worry was always going to be there, no matter how much he could deny it. At best he could cling onto Ryker's words on the ride at worst, only possibly stuck as a result. That wasn't so bad! Long as nobody got themselves hurt! For that present moment, while in that ride, it was more about ensuring that his teammates were in good graces as it progressed through, and enjoying themselves. So far, for the most part, that was happening. They managed to pick a name for the poor unfortunate dolphin that just happened to be swimming by. He had no mind on Tsuki telling him no about keeping the dolphin, as he knew she would say no! Truth be told, he was fond of her bringing it up to him in the first place. He would have certainly tried on reeling it home as a pet is she weren't around!!! Then again, he could end up as fish bait from the trying. Ew!!! He can pass on being in a fish's strong of poo!!! Astra had the right idea as well when she began chipping in on mentioning the deer from the woods! Oh!!! A Phillip and a Tatuna would make the most amazing combo! "Sounds good! I still want a Jeff though! They are tiny and can fit into my pocket! I wish we could have brought one home from the forest!!" That much was all too true. He had to throw all this out the window, or else he would never stop. Thankfully he ended that topic at that regard, the gentle hand of Tsuki ruffling his hair doing the trick. To this notion a chattering soft laughter erupted, calming him down instantly. How was she able to do that!?
When the roller coaster had escalated up to the sky, he had honestly been sure he would have been laughed a bit at. A grown man clinging from a corner to his team leader surely had to be a little funny!~ All was assured though, with the hair ruffling being the only thing to prevent him from bowing like a crazy person in apology. "You are both right. I feel silly for even thinking so! Ryker! I must learn your chillll ahahah~. You're cool like a cucumber with sunglasses! That is major cool! You over compare to a zucchini level!" Random as the words were, he was in full agreement on the facts regardless. Had he only expected a warning on the sudden change of topic from Ryker. "EH!?!?" Silencing himself from shock immediately, his eyes hovered to Tsuki, who replied in earnest with her family having a family legacy behind her reasons. Nothing wrong with following a traditional set of reasoning! She was keeping it going wonderfully! Astra had went next, as upbeat as her usual self. replying with future plans of travel one day, and new experiences to reach for. Another innocent response, filled with as much truth as Tsuki's! If only he had a good enough reason than what he had hiding in his shadow. When it was his turn, he had made a nervous laugh, forcing out plenty of positivism he could manage, topped off with a lie he was trying to hide. "It's nothing special really. My mother had sent me here with dreams of seeing me straightening up and getting education! She tried to teach me before, but I was too hyper for her to try and teach! Ahahahaah! It's why I cant read! Ahahahahah! I hope to graduate... In order to make her proud!"
After saying that, Rowan had to look back out the window by that point. There was no other thing to say, and saying anything about his mother left a bad taste in his mouth as it was. Wonderful timing as it was, considering Tsuki had spoken suddenly towards Astra. Was her tumtum hurting!? He hadn't imagined her earlier actions before after all!? Astra claimed to be alright, which had Rowan forget his own lie an built up guilt to it, instead glancing to Ryker in worry. He said nothing, but he only hoped that it was his eyes that could do the talking by stare alone. "Had you noticed something was up with her too? Is she alright truly?" Unsure what to truly say to that matter, he left it to the girls to talk on that matter. He had however, noticed she had dropped her bubbliness the second time she had claimed to be alright. What exactly has happened!?
