A trio of juniors with boxes of candies ran by, one imp pausing briefly to press a ring pop into her hands before racing off after their friends. Blinking in surprise with a startled flare of her wings, she chuckled, shaking her head, popping it into her mouth, not especially wanting to just be collecting loads of candy in her pockets. That was a recipe for needing to dry clean something which she was hoping to avoid. The flavor was okay, but, when the enchantment kicked in, Tesni laughed, delighted.
At being addressed, the goblin/fallen girl turned on the spot to face the source of the greeting. Sheepishly clearing her throat, she removed the ring from her mouth and attempted to fan the enchanted hearts drifting liltingly about her head away. "Hi," Tesni began, folding her wings neatly upon her back and slipped her work in progress ring on a finger. "Am I ever! I almost didn't come out today, but I sure am glad I did." Extending her non candy ring bearing hand to the antlered woman who addressed her. "I'm Tesni. Pleased to meet you. What might I call you by?" Glancing at the salamander in its terrarium. "Aww! Cute new friend, huh? How've you been enjoying the festivities?"
Designated roller KalyaSue Bark candy that was great cause KalyaSue was starting to feel a little peckish. Sticking her tong out to try and see the color it had turned. KalyaSue looked a little more the silly when freshling next to her said hi. Putting her tong back into her mouth she grinned impishly at the freshling "Oh yes I am fun loads of fun," her excitement clear in her tone of voice. "Would you like a piece of bark candy?" she offered. "It will make your tong change colors," she warned sticking her tong out again to make her point. Her tong had was a bright purple at the moment.
(Ravid Is My Designated Roller, total 29) "Apples are an important product, and apple cider is lovely. Not every job has to be exciting, and as long as you are happy and enjoy what you do, that is the important thing, don't you think?" He used his free hand to brush hair from his face, and smiled a little. "I have heard apple blossoms are very pretty, so I am not surprised. As for me, I am a glass worker. I specialize in blown glass. My primary trade is blown glass vases, cups and the like... But I also enjoy making jewelry pieces and statuettes, other decorative work. It just isn't as steady an income, the purely decorative things."
At her comment about funnel cakes, he smiled and nodded. "Alright, let us get one to split. I see a stall for them over there. Do you want anything other then the powdered sugar on it? I've seen them offered with fruit and chocolate in some places."
Speaking of plushies for your pets Reece happened to notice a booth next to the adoption station that was selling pet friendly toys. Unfortunately there wasn't any bunyips so she couldn't get Neo a toy like Bark had but there was a Aetherjelly which would be fun with all the dangly bits. She selected an orange one seeing as its pattern was pleasing to the eye. Reece walked her purchase over to Neo who was now starring at a spectre fox strutting by with a toy in its mouth. "You really shouldnt stare at people. They might get the wrong idea. Like that you want to eat them.. She placed the toy on Neo's head who just sat starring up at her as if her words went in one ear and out the other.
Marissa smiled the excitement radiating from the child. Well its a pleasure to meet you Aisling. My name is Marissa and this is Blaze. I figured it suited his fiery spirit.. She raised an eyebrow as the spectre fox walked away in a huff. Perhaps she had hurt their feelings? They are always known for being extremely intelligent familiars. "In truth I'm almost considering adopting a second to keep him company. What do you think?. She sat down next to the freshie and pointed to the pen next to them where various colored fennekits were causing a ruckus.
Benedict was a bit happier, the flitterat had decided to get off of his shoulder. He was just about to let out a sigh of relief when the flitterat decided that it would instead stay in his jacket pocket for now. Benedict let out a groan. He did not want it in there, but if he tried to fight it now, it could either bite his hand, and he needed it to be uninjured, or he would probably have to lose his jacket from flinging it on the ground and running. He just had the worst luck didn't he?
Designated roller KalyaSue KaylaSue won a ring pop. Clapping her hand she happily arranged the ring on her ringer. Heading to the next booth she wondered if the freshling would keep hanging out with her or not. As she approached the next booth she got excited to see the next addition to her winnings.
As he was making his way back to the food stall that his restaurant had set up, he suddenly felt something hitting his face, and before he could see who had thrown it, suddenly no one was around. "Well that's great." He said. Was this walk around supposed to calm him or make him angry? So far it was the latter.
He looked at what had been thrown in his face and saw that it was another Kidden plushie. Well, if they had to throw it at him, it obviously meant that they no longer wanted it. He took the plushie, the second now, and tucked it under his arm, trying to keep it away from "his" fennekin that suddenly took an interest in it.
Later on Reece continued through the endless row of booths. She heard someone calling out in a carnival like fashion that their ring pop would taste like your true love's favorite meal. This seemed pretty far fetched as such emotive magics were banned unless being performed in a licensed office. Glowing candy and Floating candy were easy to perform. She thought perhaps these ring pops just tasted like your favorite food.. or what your taste buds found most pleasing so you'd think your true love had your same interests. Still even if it was just to prove their promise false she bought one to add to her ring pop hand.
Munch...munch.....crunch....be rid of these stupid ring pops by devouring them. Lucinda's face spoke of sheer grump and spite as she ate the sugary candy jewelry like it was popcorn or something. She needed to wash these down, spying a table with a punch bowl that was calling her name. She left Ursa to entertain the odd man to get herself a cup, noticing the sealpup plushies that were stacked in pyramids around the bowl. They're dumb faces were actually kind of cute...and they were free to take. She picked one that had a nice color combination, tucking it under her arm.
Ursa kept a smile on her face as she hoped her explanation of the familiar the odd man held hadn't confused him, wanting to be more of a help than a hinderance. She hadn't noticed that Lucinda wandered away for a moment as her attention was suddenly caught by a fennekit that had come bounding up to the other two that were following her. She watched them squeak at each other and act playful, giggling a bit; apparently she was gaining a pack of them.
Fiyero didn't count on this festival being so crowded....or that it was hard to make out who was who. Om could be anywhere and if he was wearing anything that matched the colors of the decorations, he had perfect camouflage. He paused for a moment to get his bearings when the flitter rat on his shoulder made small squeaks, looking off to the side of him. "Hm? What is it?" He followed the direction the little one was looking and saw another flitter rat sitting on a table on its hind legs, staring at his new friend. "Oh? Is this your friend?" He walked over and gingerly held his hand out, not sure if he would scare it or not....but it climbed right on and up his shoulder to snuggle next to the pink one, noses and whiskers nuzzling together. "....Ok....I'll admit that you're cute together. You can stay, too."
Tears was a little confused and curious about this new experience she looked around and found a place where she could get some snacks. She got some sugar cookies and went to sit down and eat her snack. Then a creature took one of her cookies and ate it. She blinked at the creature, then it licked her face and she giggled and petted the creature.

Designated roller KalyaSue The other fershling hadn't followed KaylaSue to the next booth but she was sure they would see each other again. Winning another plant, Kaylas arms where getting very full. "I need something to carry all this stuff in", KaylaSue said as she looking around for a basket or box. Finding a near by basket she set her items inside and skipped over to the next booth.

Ioan had really debated with himself on whether he wanted to attend the Hunter's Jubilee or not this year. He preferred to keep to himself during all of the merriment, hiding away in a library or somewhere quiet while the festivities raged on without him. But, he reasoned with himself, he was supposed to be making an effort to do new things. Experience what he had always hidden away from, make friends, before he was thrust into the real world to fend for himself.
Definitely the right mood to bring in for such an event, right?
Ioan had slipped into the party long after it had started, tugging on his shirt absently. He'd forgone the apron and wader boots for the evening, but had stuck to his usual dark top and pants, with a comfortable pair of shoes so he could wander around. He tucked his wings behind him as he glided past some of the party goers, eying some of the refreshments available curiously.
"Oh, neat." He grinned to himself, plucking up a candy ring and tasting it curiously. He frowned at the flavor, wandering away from the table and looking around. Who liked licorice? Maybe the ring wasn't the best judge of finding a 'true love'...
As Benedict was trying to balance everything with one arm, suddenly the fennekin darted off. Something that was no longer a surprise to Benedict, but still quite annoying. He continued, not caring if the fennekin came back or not. But alas, he was unlucky, and soon enough the furry creature had caught up with him, something being dragged by it's mouth. Benedict sighed, knelt down, and took whatever it was out of the fennekin's mouth, the fennekin looking a bit sad that it's toy was now taken away. It was a sealpup plushie. "Another plush to add to the collection." Benedict said, sighing while searching for a bag he could carry all of this crud in.
She was surprised to find a Salamander adoption enclosure this far into the fair. If there goal was to get them homes would they not set up near the entrance? or exit for that matter? She lingered for awhile watching through glass. Neo was less than enthused at the simple floating creatures. They weren't fluffy or bouncy like the ones from earlier so therefore they weren't important. It was hard to tell a bunyip no so Reece continued forward.
Two long cat plushes later she finally found her ultimate prize! She was overwhelmed with joy when she laid eyes on a flitter rat plush. Luma swooped in and purchased it before someone else would show up. Holding it tightly she grinned and stuffed it in her tote bag with her other plushes. Now all she had to do was decide if she was to keep it or give it to Crowley as a Hearts Day gift.
As she drank her punch to wash down the ring pops, Lucinda began to feel....tingly. There was a myriad of flavors in her mouth and it was all sugary and tasty. She felt funny but in a good way and, looking at the world, everything got softer edges around it. It looked so...pretty....and awesome. Colors seemed more vibrant. She looked over and her eye widened when she saw these big....colorful...fluffy looking spectrefox plushies. They looked so soft; she had to have one.
After watching the fennekits play around her feet for a bit, Ursa suddenly noticed that Lucinda was...not with them. A quick glance around and she saw her rush towards the stand with the oversized plushies, looking almost too happy for how she normally is. She then noticed the discarded ring pop rings that still had some chunks left on them after being obviously ravaged. "...Oh no..." This wasn't good. Lucinda was heading back to them so she grabbed a soda to give her just in case her suspicions were correct.
No sign of Om here, either. He'd wandered in quite a ways but he had a feeling he was heading in the entirely wrong Direction. Fiyero sighed a bit, pushing his hair out of his face as he thought about which way to go next when something caught his eye; from his peripheral vision he saw a rainbow colored salamander crawling under a bench. That wasn't good. He walked over and knelt down to check on it. "Hey there, little one. What are you doing out here? It's far too dry for you." He held a hand out and watched as it crawled into his palm, carefully lifting it up as he reached into his pocket with the other and pulled out a container of moisturizer that he always had on him. He gingerly applied it to the little creature's skin with a smile. "There you are. It's all natural and will keep your skin from drying for a while.
