Yoko's eyebrows raised, amusement clear. This stammering and stuttering was so cute. She was on her dress? Yoko cocked her head to the side a bit, waiting to see how much more stammering the slaugh would give her, lips quirked into a small smirk.
"Nice to meet you, Liv," she replied easily. So, she was here for the mixer? "Well, since we've already found each other and running a bit late, why don't we just be each others' date?" The nixie smiled politely at someone toting around plushies for sale, offering up a few coins for a cute blue one.

Plushies: All of these will be going to Scooter's room at his manor
Familiars: All familiars will be going to Scooter as well, lmao
The kiss on her hand brought color to Baileys cheeks. Ravid seemed so polite and gentlemanly. She smiled, a little shyness leaking into her expression. Hopefully this date went well, and he wouldn't decide a boring farm girl like herself wasn't interesting enough, or that she wouldn't put her foot in her mouth. No no, it was best not to think about that. Better to see how things went and to deal with them as they came up. "That sounds fantastic." She took the arm he offered.
A freshling decided to throw a baby at the very blushing Liv. What---how rude! "Do you want to have babies together?" Wait--that wasn't what she meant to say!

"What a cute couple!" Serenade's eyes grew wide as someone thrusted a plushie into her. How could she say no? This..this was awkward.

Natalia picked up a baby plush as they walked towards the tea cafe. Maybe one of the kiddos would like one.

Mags picked up a plush from the ground. Poor thing.

Clea sucked on a lollipop and looked up at Simone. She was so cute.

Grizzle sighed as his foot stepped on another nezubat plush. Seems like he was getting quite a collection.

Scooter picked up another set of bell earrings. Might as well make it so that the Vann can hear him moving around too!

A salamander stand caught Dawn's eyes and he easily picked on out of the crowd of them. Low maintenance familiar, something that he and Dusk could both share. What wasn't to like?

A fennekit started yipping at his feet. "Just what..." his gaze narrowed. "What are you doing?"
(Ravid Is My Designated Roller, total 21) "Wonderful. So tell me about yourself. What do you do, everyday?" He sounded genuinely interested, as he took a gentle lead, guiding her down one aisle of the festival. This one was filled with food and drink stalls, so there were a variety of scents filling the air as they passed. "Would you care for something, Bailey? My treat, of course." He did not notice a small Fennekit following him.
"It is rather...cute, isn't it? This is a salamander, right?" Lucinda looked at the little creature curiously as it continued to lick the ring pop, brushing the back of her knuckle over it lightly; it's skin was such a strange texture. "They need moist environments, I believe.....I could have a terrarium made for it. Let's see..." She pulled out her cell phone and speed dialed a number. "Irving? Yes, I need you to have something set up at my home by the end of today....a terrarium designed for all of the needs of a salamander. No, it doesn't have to be specially customized just...yes, that's right....Huh? One moment.." Her concentration was broken when she felt something rubbing against her leg, looking down to see a fluffy little fennekit with rather gorgeous natural colored fur leaning against her. "....Irving, still there? Ok, I'll also need some basics for a fennekit. Bed, collar, food and water bowls....yes. Thank you, Irving." It appeared she was going to have a little menagerie at her home quite soon. She was so into her phone call that she flat out ignored the cockatriel that insulted her.
It didn't really surprise Ursa that Luce was ignoring both her laughter and the insulting of the cockatriel, though her new feathered friend made an indignant noise as though it was offended that it had gone unacknowledged. "Aww, don't be mad. That's just how she is." She tried to soothe the bird, reaching up and giving its feathers a stroke. It let her do it before nipping lightly at her hand, its teeth nibbling at her fingers. "Oh, are you hungry? Let's see if we can find a treat for you." As Ursa looked around for a food stand that might have something the cockatriel could eat, she was given a ring pop by a random passerby. She looked at it as a light inside of it flashed to the beat of music, then looked up at the bird as it was looking down at it curiously. "I don't think this is good for you, buddy. Don't worry, I'll find something much tastier for you." The cockatriel seemed a bit miffed that its perch was not sharing what it received but the promise of better food seemed to keep it from wanting to bite her.
Coco saw the cutest plushie at an archery game, she picked up the bow and arrow and she aimed and fired missing her first few shots, then she finally got a hit and won the pink plushie.

- Laguna finally had a break from work to come to the festival. She grabbed her seaweed lotion and started rubbing it into her skin. She looked over to the dance floor and seen other dancing on the floor. D6he loved dancing at home but she didnt want to dry out to fast. She looked into her bag to see how much seaweed lotion she still had left and she thought maybe the last day she would dance if she had enough lotion. She walked around to look at the booths and she seen the botany booth. She always was thought the plants on land where so beautiful. She walked over and seen they where selling plants. The pots where so beautiful she wanted to buy one. After a few minutes she decided to close her eyes and pick.
Victoria-
-Ohhh Love is in the air and where there is love Victoria will be there. Victoria Absolutely loved this holiday. Seeing people in love just made her heart flutter. While she was watching other and daydreaming about her life in the future with husband and a infant someone came over and taped her on the shoulder. She turned around a lady was holding a bundle up baby and was smiling. "I see you day dreaming over here miss and I thought you might like this." Victoria looked stunned. She was speechless because why would someone give away a infant. The lady must of seen Victoria stunned face and explained to her how it was a fake baby. Victoria smiled and accepted the baby.
Benedict hoped that the flitterat would be done with the ring soon, and that it wouldn't slobber all over his jacket. But as he was paying attention to the flitterat, he didn't notice the fennekin sneaking off once again. Until it suddenly ran into his leg! He felt himself lose his balance for a moment but managed not to fall on his face, though he looked a bit silly to everyone else there, as they had seen him flailing around for a bit.
His cheeks burned bright with embarrassment and he hurried off in another direction, hoping that the fennekin and the flitterat had somehow gotten lost during the run.
Reece strolled past the fennekin adoption tents. Neo was very interested in the small fluffy creatures. Well at least they were very small to her. She strolled over to the pens and layed down infront them, careful not to poke her tucks through. In truth this was the gentlist Reece had ever seen Neo behave. She is usually a bit of a wrecking ball, making Bark look like a vespercat in comparison. It was rather fascinating. That being said she was not bringing home a fennekin just because Neo wanted one. You don't adopt your pets a pet.. thats what plushies are for.

Luma returned to the stall from earlier where she got the elongated cat plush. She had been unable to find any of the foretold flitterrat plushies.. so perhaps Crowley would like one of the cats as well? Then they could be close when they were apart because they had the same one.
Designated roller KalyaSue KalyaSue hoped form one foot to the other. She was so excited about her new batty friend. "Aren't you so cute!" she said in a cute little voice. "Thank you so much, " she added speaking to the person running the booth. Her new nezubat plushies was all black except for the inside of his ears, his eyes, and cute little bat feet; those were a hot pink color. Gathering together her winners she happily moved over to the next booth. "Lets see what I might be able to winner over here, " she said to her new belongings. Setting her items down at the new booth, KalyaSue took that ball and aimed to throw it at the target.
"Oh, well, my sister and I run an apple orchard. We make and apple cider too. It's a lot of work and it's probably not the most thrilling job in the world, but I like it." Bailey nodded resolutely. While she didn't have a lot of confidence in herself when it came to romantic encounters, she knew she was good at her job. "The trees are going to be blooming in a couple of months, and it's always just the prettiest thing. What do you do?" She asked, stopping herself from going on about the trees and flowers- she could talk for hours about that, but most people got bored of it. And Ravid seemed so nice, it was only right to listen to wait he had to say too! "Oh, that's right kind of you. Well, I do really like those funnel cakes you can get at these festivals, but I never can finish one by myself. Would you like to split one with me?"
He knew Lin wanted to come, and it had been too long since he'd seen his little brother, Nivasi decided he might as well join the festivities. He was too short to see over the crowd, so he had to make due with weaving through legs and dodging tails. Surely Lin couldn't be... too hard to find, right? What was he even thinking? There were so many people here... Maybe he should just call? He was about to pull out his phone when... No. That couldn't be. That familiar green hair? That unique tail? "LIN!" Nivasi jumped up, waving his arms to try and get Lin's attention.
Xenon:
This was the LAST time he let Quill talk him into leaving the house. 'Go out to the dance.' He said. 'You'll have fun!' he said. BAH! The only reason he actually agreed to this was because, at Quill's insisting, he'd agreed to meet someone. Some... friend of a friend of a friend that they met online sort of thing. Xenon really didn't know.
iMoony
Sorry it took so long. I threw Xenon in as well, if you wanted to try that blind date thing? Or Kinney can see him looking gloomy and alone and 'rescue him' from being lonely. up to you!
Om:
This was all so strange. Om could hardly believe all the color around him. What... what was all of this? There were flowers and familiars and candies everywhere! He felt something spark in his head. Was that a short circuit, or was that excitement? He wasn't sure. Oh, he wished Fi were here to explain things to him. As he walked around, he felt something tug at his tail. He looked down and saw something pulling and biting at his tail. "Malfunctioning. Pain sensation reduced to 5% of normal." He slowly bent and picked up the Cockatiel, turning to the nearest person, he held the familiar out, practically shoving it in someone's face. "What sort of child is this?"
She had never been to a festival before! Emily was so excited, she wanted to see it all! The games, the prizes, the dancing! She had read about balls in fairy tails and clearly, she was a princess! Or that's what she thought as she adjusted the shiny crown on her head. She looked around before seeing a flash of green. Emily giggled and ran after the familiar before practically cornering it. "Gotcha!" She giggled, tapping the bird on the head. "Tag." The Cockatiel responded by trying to bite her fingers, but missed and walked over to her side and started nibbling on the end of her hair. "Hey, ow! Don't pull, that's not nice." She turned to look, then saw she was standing right beside another freshling, one who appeared to be about her age?
"HI!" She chirped happily. "Are you having fun? WHO! Look at all the cool things you've gotten!" She said in glee, looking at the handful of items the freshling had.
Lucinda had finished her phone call and put her cell phone away, adjusting her hold on the salamander so it was cradled in her arm while she let it take the ring pop it was licking. She reached down and carefully pet over the fennekit at her feet, the corners of her mouth turning up in a small smile. "Well....I wasn't expecting either of you but I'll make sure you're taken care of. Only the best..." She looked up as Ursa was talking to the ornery bird that had perched on her, shaking her head a bit until there was a semi-mechanical stranger holding yet another cockatriel in Ursa's face. If that wasn't weird enough, a freshling came running by and shoved yet another one of those accursed ring pops into her hand. She glared after the child, her face turning a bit red from frustration an annoyance. Fine....if they were so keen to give her these things, then she'd just eat them all! Right now! Well...except for the one that the salamander was eating. She started crunching down on them in spite, glad for her strong sharp teeth.
Ursa turned to look at Lucinda, seeing her actually giving affection to the fennekit that had taken a liking to her. Was she...smiling? Ursa had to smile herself; maybe this was good for more than just inspiration. Just as she turned again to look for something the cockatriel could eat, someone came right up to her and held another cockatriel that looked identical to the one that was using her as a perch. The sudden appearance and the question threw her for a loop for a moment before she had a chance to see who was asking it, processing it before a big grin spread across her face. "Well aren't you adorable!" She said brightly, rather amused by the half-mechanical hybrid. "First off, that's not a 'child' per say; it's a familiar, an animal that is usually a pet or companion for nightmares and daydreams. Some people might think of their familiars as their children but they aren't like actual freshlings. Second, that is a cockatriel; a very smart and cranky bird that likes to pick on the person they bond with...Ouch!" As if on cue, the cockatriel that was on her was getting impatient and nipped the tip of her ear. "....Like that. They're bullies but they're loyal and protective bullies. They're so weird." She shrugged a bit before she smiled up at the curious hybrid. "And what's your name, handsome? My name is Ursa." It was probably a good idea to be friendly to the man as he seemed to not know much about things. Suddenly the fennekit that had started to follow her started squeaking, joined by another one that padded up and was sniffing the other as they circled each other, tails wagging.
As he walked into the festivities, Fiyero couldn't help but feel concerned. He had gone out for some supplies for his plants and when he came back, Om was gone and no note was left....which was odd. He couldn't think of anything that would have called away his roommate other than the Hunter's Jubilee celebration and now here he was, seeing how crowded it was and now not sure if he would even be able to find him. He couldn't help but worry; Om still didn't fully understand the world around him and was naïve...which could land him in trouble. That thought alone made Fiyero nervous and he immediately went into the crowd. Om had to be here somewhere. After all, how hard could it be to miss a tall, mechanical hallowed hybrid? As he pushed past a small cluster of people, he looked up in time to see a pink flitter rat was fluttering his way. He paused for a moment, fascinated as he held out a hand and watched the little creature land right in his palm. "Hello there....you're a pretty little thing, aren't you?" He looked a little closer at it, seeing the whiskers twitch in an adorably cute way with curiosity in its eyes....curiosity.....crap, he still had to find Om. "If you're coming with me, hold on tight little one so that I don't lose you." He put the flitter rat on his shoulder, watching it settle there and grip his clothes firmly before he was off into the crowd again to find his roommate.

Aisling let the adult lead her over to a bench and when she sat herself down and had the Fennekit sat on her lap, she let out a squeal of delight. Reaching her hand up to pet it, she marveled at how fluffy it was.
"He's amaaaazing." She declared, causing Ginger, who stood nearby to huff a low bark. "You're still the best though, Ginger." She told the white Spectrefox with a smile, before looking up to the adult and remembering her manners. "That's Ginger, my Spectrefox. I'm Aisling. I go to school at the Academy." She declared, as if it wasn't obvious. "What's your name? And what's his name?" She asked.
It was when Ginger realized that their companion wasn't going to be going anywhere for a while that they turned to look around a bit themselves. Mybe they could bring something back to their girl to make them recognize that they were the superior familiar instead of that puffball on their lap.
It was in their brief search that they found a soft, squeaking plush. It looked similar to the small rodent creatures that the squirrel-friend had. They were stacked on a booth, but rearing onto their hind legs, they were able to pick up one in their mouth and hurry off before anyone tried to snatch it away. This would surely make their girl see that they were better than the orange whelp on her lap!

Cassandra, safe to say, was feeling very overwhelmed. She had a Spectrefox who seemed content in constantly bringing her new "friends", two of which were more familiars, a bent out of shape Flitterat and a proud, blue Fennekit. Neither of which had names. She wasn't sure she ought to keep them.
And now, of all things, in her efforts to find an adult to talk to, a junior had appeared, placed a plushie in her free arm and then sauntered away. She looked at the plushie, which had a pamphlet tucked under one of it's arms. It was a baby. The pamphlet was about safe imbuing practices. Cassandra was about ready to start bawling. She already felt like the mother of three children and that came around just by showing up to this event! Maybe socializing just wasn't her thing after all.

When Blitzen didn't get a reply from the person she bumped into, she shuffled off with another apology and went on to see if there was any cutie she could chat with, before heading home to set up her pal in his new digs.
It was then that she saw someone who definitely matched her definition of cute. Between the glasses and the brightly colored hair... Blitzen was determined to investigate. She approached without giving it another thought.
She was on her way over when a kid in a Kallistos costume hadn't her a small Nezubat plushie. She glanced down at it and disregarded it without another thought, more focused on making sure she didn't drop her Salamander in his terrarium. "Hey." She said to the girl as she approached. "Enjoying the party?"

Renee had a love-hate relationship with the Hunter's Jubilee Festival. On the one hand: hearts! pink! flowers! love! On the other hand, she was single which meant that she was not the target audience for the festival. Hearing about the festival being held acting as a mixer was exciting! Maybe she'd actually meet someone! Maybe they liked cupcakes as much as she did! Maybe they would fall in love and live happily ever after! She was so ready for a happily ever after.
Still when she got there, she had to admit, she was a little daunted. So many people were there and a lot of them were couples already talking to one another. How would she fit in? She should've brought some of her cupcakes to offer people. That would've been a conversation starter! She sighed at her lack of foresight and started into the crowd, picking something off a tray as she walked forward. Who could she talk to?
Coco decided to head back to her dorm, she had enjoyed herself, but she was a bit lonely and all the romantic stuff made her a little sad that she didn't have anyone to spend the holiday with.
Tear arrived at the festival it was her first one, she went to a game, where duckies floated in a little river. She picked one up and won a plushie.
