Liya's tongue felt a little too dry for her to talk after her job at Adelaide's.

Returning this time to a much brighter war room, Darkjay dropped off a few more crystals.
"I think thats enough to get everything going." He said with a smirk, tuning his attention to Adelaide. "So, are we the first to get everything fixed? And, If we collect more of these things, can we grow more powerful?" He also wanted to rub this in the other clans faces, but best decided to be polite to the higher ranking war horsewoman.
And with that all power was restored on the War Common Floors-
To reveal that this entire time Allen was still making crystal fragment friendship bracelets, a whole bunch of them sorted into a box. He spotted the actually helpful handful from his workspace and gave them a wide smile.
He probably thought making the bracelets was the reason for things being fixed or something.

"Always," she said with a smile. "More Fear, more power. And you can BET we are gonna go boast about this. We are the most efficient clan there is." Darkjay was given a very pleased grin.
"Good work. Feel free to collect more."
Adelaide turned to see Allen, still being very much himself. If he weren't so strong...
"Yes, Darkjay, we need more crystals."
Adelaide sighed. The things she put up with.
"I hope one of those is for me," she said to Allen.

"I like the sound of that!" Darkjay said with a laugh. "They need to know who is the strongest clan!" He was always up for harvesting more FEAR too, just to rub it in everyone else's faces.
"Of course" He spoke as everything was returned to normal, revealing their leader making...friendship brackets. With the crystals.
Just....why.
"Are you serious?!" He spoke to both of them, seriously considering smacking the back of his head but holding back because he knew just how strong this guy was. Although maybe he should fight him anyway, try and overthrown Allen. Might be fun...
Instead he just sighed, pinching the bride of his nose and asked, "...Are there extras?"

Rayu was judging you Allen. Judging.
Friendship bracelets while they were all out collecting FEAR. "I'd better get one at least."
Down on the War floor the lights were back on again. This wasn't too much of a surprise to Rep. They hadn't even really needed him and that was pretty par for the course if he was honest with himself. He'd always felt a bit outside it all, extraneous, surplus to requirements. He showed up to fights, he went out to do what he was told when he was actually told to do it but he felt like he'd fallen far out of favour. More and more these days people just didn't need a traditional horseman, they wanted one who was going to bring war into the modern world, who was forward thinking and clever.
He didn't let them know about his interest in tech, they'd mistake it for someone who was capable of the sort of boring programming that some of them got up to or the presentations which won them victories in the board room. He was bored and they didn't need him. Both of these things together equated to a very sorry state of affairs, one where he found himself sometimes wondering if anyone had ever left their clan for another one or - most taboo of all - if they'd ever left the clans entirely. Would they even let you live if you did that?
Picking up another crystal, he hung it on his wrist, just in case the power went out all over again. He didn't really feel like using it though, he was in a mood for self-introspection and self-pity rather than, you know, actually doing any work at all.

Running in rather late, Vania moved over to the crystal and deposited her collected items and collected FEAR, sitting on the edge and watching as she realized... whoops, it had already had enough.
She blinked, sighing and rubbing her face. Well, a little extra never hurt, probably.
Standing up, Vania stretched her wings and looked around to make sure nothing else was needed, her eyes wide and watching. She sucked her teeth in and moved away from the crystal (she didn't want to accidentally crack it again -- come to think of it, someone might have cracked it before and that was the reason it needed more FEAR) to look around at the inside of the War room.
Vania hoped nothing else was amiss. It would suck if they had to scramble to save something else that was failing... though it wouldn't be a surprise in the long run.
CHARACTER: Vania CLAN: War META JOURNAL ARCANA: Chariot BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER: Blunt, spontaneous, and full of energy. Sometimes calm, but not often.
It had been some time since Cor could get away and enjoy the war floor. It had been where he was born and raised and sometimes he felt guilt over leaving. It was for good reason he left though, so the feeling was fleeting and dulled to completely acceptable by visits to his old stomping grounds.
Today was such a day as he had to make sure everything was in working order. He'd been distracted and unable to help restore everything while he could so the best he could do now was just to enjoy that it was okay and make sure it had remained that way.
What better way to accomplish that than to roam the training course and make sure the traps were in working order? There wasn't a better way. That's all.
He began down the course, remembering some of the first few traps like the back of his hand as he'd encountered them enough times to have learned, but past a certain point he had to use his learned skills to keep moving forward. Noting disturbed dirt helped to avoid most of them, but several were more clever and attacked from the sides. He tried to dodge these but still earned a few hits in the process. He made it quite far, in fact, before suddenly mistaking a rope trap for a pit trap and jumping - only to be netted and swept high in the air anyway. There he hung until eventually someone got further than him and cut him loose. Or the person who set the trap took pity and eventually let him go.
All in all, a great day!
