[ TASK ] As a part time salesman in the store, you will help to part customers with their money and sell them our products. Upselling is rewarded only when it is subtle, after all Horse isn't a crass establishment, we sell a lifestyle, not just a product!
Commission is generous and the rewards are many.
[ MECHANICS ] Roll 1d6 twice, each roll is half the day. - For whatever reason it seems someone who is enamoured with a competitor's brand has come in just to argue with you about their merits and not buy anything at all. - The sale is very easy indeed, after all your customer is dressed in branded clothing and came here with plenty of money, you even sell them some accessories at three times the markup. - This sale is all right, the person doesn't want much and no amount of convincing them seems to get anywhere, they buy a case for their existing product and leave - Tyr stops by while you are making a very tough sell and the customer is so distracted by meeting the CEO that they relent and spend more than they intended to, even taking out some insurance on their product. - Customer wastes your time by seeming very interested for most of the morning, asking about every single product on sale, going through tests and examples and ultimately saying they will "come back tommorow" as they leave. - An older customer is getting rid of their hugely outdated phone and is only too happy to take you up on the latest hPhone along with lessons for it

Vania didn't think she was that good at sales, but what did she know? A job was a job was a job, and she had to do a job to get certain things and achieve other things and wow that was a lot of people okay!!
Her first customer went by with a quick sale, but the second was making it tough to interrupt her speech, asking questions and derailing her a bit... up until they got derailed at seeing Tyr walk up to greet you.
The customer was so star-struck by meeting the CEO that they were easier to talk to after that, actually agreeing with everything Vania was saying and buying a few more things on top of that.
Inwardly, Vania cheered, delighted that Tyr had chosen to stop by at that moment and practically give her a sale. It was easier with him nearby, it seemed.
The customers after that were fair enough until the last one, who looked rather... miffed as they glanced around the office.
Vania grimaced.
They went off on how the competitor's brand was far better than this one, and all she could do was listen and sigh at the proper moments, sitting at her desk as her foot under twitched back and forth.
They went on and on about the differences between the companies, as well as down to the last detail about products that some were wrong, and some were right, and --
Why did she care about this? ... well, at least she was getting paid for her time.
