As the times change, it was up to the individual to change with them, to adapt to the new surroundings and thrive, not held back by anyone or anything. However when it came to adapting to the humans and their ever changing ways, Darkjay found it hard to keep a straight face and to not lose his s**t at how incredibly stupid the menial jobs one had to perform.

One such company, of course ran by horsemen, was looking for extra assistance. He ignored the human facing roles by a mile, he really didn't want to 'be nice' to the weak and pathetic humans. There were, however, some roles involving metal work. Darkjay was no metal worker, that was a job best fit for Death clansmen. But it wouldn't hurt to try, to assist in the making of weaponry.

The war horsemen was put under the tutorship of a senor looking death clansmen, and he held his tongue as he was shown how to perform his duties, how to bend and work the metal and combine them together in the forge, how to heat and cool the metal, and a other such tasks. It was extremely hot, sweat trickling down his body and molting his feathers together, but the clang of metal against metal was almost soothing, the hard work a way to channel his destructive energy and keep him busy.

Surprisingly, he was adapt at following instructions, finishing his tasks in record time and earning himself a early lunch, creating a marvelous piece of metal in the process.
