Howl followed Gaius and Kuni. Her tail swaying behind her as she had finally managed to shake off Ashi when they left the bunker. The grimm let her eyes adjust to the darkness, trying to avoid the light given off by the phone. "A closet sure... But there are A. Alot of them. B. What if it didn't just wander off on it's own..? Someone could have lured it out... You know, Like a stranger with candy?" She posed the idea to the group. "We might not be alone out here." Well of course they weren't alone there were other groups but she meant like a baddie. "I mean we came down here so it would have had to go back the way we came to the auditorium right?"


Ashi felt like a whole new nightmare out in the open. Well not really new. But he took in a deep breath. Howl had a point... There was really only one way in and out of the place. Ashi wasn't one to really over think something in this kind of situation, he would be lost forever if he got lost in the woods. Not real rational thinking. He had no idea where a child would run off too. "So we need to go back up there?" He glanced in the direction they had all filed down through. "Do you think that there could be maybe something down here... Closer to Ava?" His voice trembled a little with his lost hope.






No worries! Just an fyi, I'll be traveling Thursday for PaxSouth this weekend. I will do my best to get tags in asap. So I apologize if they're super short or anything. But if 2 days go by without a tag just keep going and quote me and I'll jump back in as best I can <3 I should have some time in the mornings / late at night hopefully to get some in.

Feelings roll for Howl Odd - feeling more anxious

Everything was so empty and dark ... The Fey trailed after Aedus, peeking around corners, under tables ... anywhere a little one might hide. Nothing. Her mind began to wander. Surely the other safehouses had been warded? And yet, bad things had still happened. She shivered a little.

"But they weren't here. The people here are very powerful. Our wards must be very strong..." She spoke under her breath, and just to herself. It made her feel much better. Certainly things here would be okay, and the adults would sort all of this out.

She drew up beside Aedus, and the classroom, she turned, waiting for Kappa.

It took some time for Raa to catch up with the group. He had fallen behind talking to his dad, trying to get more information, but there was nothing that Raa could get out of his father. He decided to rejoin his peers and part ways with his dad as the search for the child began. Raa had felt awful that a child had gone missing. Seeing the pale complexion of his father was enough to tell Raa how dire the situation was, and how stressful it must be for him and for the rest of the caretakers -- especially Annabelle. Raa only hoped that they could find the child sooner rather than later. He didn't want anything bad to happen to anyone ... Raa wanted everyone safe.

... Ella.

Where was Ella? Raa had fallen so far behind he hadn't realized that he'd unintentionally parted ways with Ella. Luckily the group of people who had offered to help look for the child wasn't as large as one would hope, and with the group spread out, it didn't take long for Raa to find his way to Ella.

What a relief.

"Hey ... Ella. Sorry I disappeared ... I needed to talk to dad. I needed to understand what was going on ... " there was still some distance between Ella and Raa as the hybrid approached the girl he loved. "Hopefully you're not mad .... any luck yet? I haven't seen hide nor hair ... "

Adee watch the other groups shuffle off, seeking the child. She glanced at her companion, hoping she'd follow as she bounded up the stairs. This wasn't any time for a Freshling to be alone out there.

After all, the wards had fallen at the university, letting the others in. They could do the same here. She shivered at the thought. At least at the university it had been mostly adults, or near adults. Here there were the young and defenseless...

As Ruby continued searching with Chunli close behind, she couldn't help but feel a strange creeping feeling tickle up her arms. Her mind couldn't help but wander to the illness those survivors had felt as they left to look for the child, the way their eyes looked somewhat hollow. What horrors had they witnessed? Whatever it was, Ruby wanted no part of it.

She heard a scuffling to her right, and immediately jumped back, shielding her searching partner, feeling her heart race. But it was just another flitterat. The adrenaline of the night was doing things to her head. She needed to stay focused. Ruby took a deep breath. You're alright, she told herself. After all, you've got a bat. You can stay levelheaded. You can do this. After a moment, she calmed herself down. These hallways, they were her home. The only real home she'd ever known, after all. And she wouldn't let herself be taken by surprise. Not here, not now.

Tagging along behind the Dryad and the group Lokni kept his eyes and ears open he wanted to find that lost child so very badly. He could not help but think about how frightened that child must be, not knowing what is around the next corner or when they would be found or find help. It must be very scary for them.

He noticed the Dryad he chose to follow seemed to become slower, her movements seemed to belay agiatation but nothing and no one was near her except him and he had not spoken to her as of yet. He kept her in his line of sight but his focus was on finding the lost child. As he turned a corner behind her he got the feeling of something near him, but he saw nothing. The intense feeling of being weighed down hit him full force and he struggled to breathe. Felt like something had decided he would make a comfortable chair, yet nothing was there. He reached his hands out but felt nothing but stagnant air, it felt a bit off but it could be due to the school was boarded up tight to keep the blackness out, at least that was what he was calling whatever happened. Each step became more difficult like wading through wet sand, but he kept going. That child needed him and nothing was going to stop him.

Coco finally looked at Vanna, and really saw him. She frowned as she finally started to breathe as he was breathing and was able to catch her breath. "Yourr... your not scary Vanna.." she stuttered out.. "Yoou've been notthing buuut nnice to me.." Coco took another deep breath trying to move past the panic. 'Breath in, breath out' Coco picked herself up from the floor and looked around a little. Trying to gather her wits again. She needed to be strong. She had to keep it together. "Thank you Vanna." She said softly. "I hope they are ok.. this is just soo much.."
