Cuileann listened as Annabelle had spoken. She was given a whistle to use in case of an emergency but was instructed to stay in groups. "I dislike being around a large group maybe I can just follow one but not actually be in it the thought formed in her mind. Looking around she saw a rather large group ready to depart the room to go and search for the missing child. She moved closer and nodded to someone who looked her way but otherwise she stayed quiet. She wanted to help but do it her way. She would follow Annabelle's instructions but felt the need to do it her way.
((If anyone wants to RP with Cuileann I would appreciate it, I want to get her involved with a group or at least another character.))

Lokni listened intently, he was wanting to get started looking for the lost child. How frightened they must be all alone in the school somewhere with no one there to help. All the different scenarios started running through his mind and he had to shake his head to clear them.
Groups? Well okay he can just join in any he guessed. He spotted a Female Dryad who looked like she was unsure so he walked right up behind her and decided to follow her to keep her out of trouble. Why he felt that need he had no idea just followed his gut feeling.

Aedus was waiting again to see if Kappa wanted to go with them and for Niamh to decide which way they should go. There was a lot of waiting on this search and it annoyed Aedus to no amount of grr. All he wanted to do was find this kid and get Niamh back to the bunker was that so much to ask?? Perhaps it was, after all, there was a chance they would all get chased by whatever had bitten those sick in the bunker. "Maybe we could start by searching the Language arts classroom??" Aedus asked maybe if he at least got a plan going he wouldn't feel so grumpy.

Coco got herself ready to head off with her group to start searching the freshling dorms this was going to be a long evening since there were a lot of dorms to search and likely a ton of hiding places. So was going to be a big game of hiding and seek and Coco didn't think this would be a fun summer game of hiding and seek. Since there might be monsters somewhere out there in the night waiting for them to make a mistake and leave themselves open to an attack. Coco only knew she wouldn't want to be this kid all alone out there somewhere. "Ok, I'm ready." Coco said softly as she headed with her group to the dorms to start their search.

Gaius fiddled with the whistle he'd been given curiously, placing it to his lips even to just barely breathe through it. Smart idea for gaining help should they get too spread out from one another. But with his group of four, the hallow was feeling pretty confident in their safety.
"Yep, to the front we go." he confirmed with Kuni, digging into one of his pockets to pull out his phone. It was probably best not to use to use it that much... but it did have a built in light that could help with seeing their way around in the darker areas. His mind was already trying to deduce locations that a small child would go running off to. "They couldn't have gotten that far...." he murmured aloud. Right? Kids were pretty fast and slippery when it came to dashing from where they should be.
"Maybe they're hiding in a closet somewhere." that'd be a good spot to hunker down in with all that was going on.

Aedus' voice surprised him, head snapping to look towards the other. He really was useless for letting himself fall apart in front of those younger than him, wasn't he? Didn't Claus say it was an adults job to help children? Or... something to that effect. Maybe he was making it up. It wasn't unlike him to make up things to hurt himself in the voice of those he cared for, after all.
"Okay." He murmured towards Aedus, grateful for the offer. At least with that he wouldn't have to wander alone... That and Niamh seemed to like him enough. It was easier to stop the panicking when he was around those with happier personalities than his own.

She stood with Aedus, and smiled at seeing Kappa again. "Are you feeling ... better, Kappa?" She put on her brightest and sunniest voice. She might be a bit scared, but there was no need to show that to someone who was obviously having a much worse time.
She nodded to Aedus' idea. "Yeah, that sounds smart. Let's try looking there ..."

Eilwen nodding softly, trying to remember the instructions Ann had given them on how to use their whistles. 1 for trouble, 2 for child, and 3 for abort. She could remember those. Hopefully it wouldn't get too confusing and she hoped they'd hear to whistles blows before anything else.
"To the dorms then." Eilwen nodded and started moving with her group in the direction of the dorms. She peeks into some other rooms and such along the way. She didn't feel like calling out any names, or being too noisy. What if something else was out there?

He didn't really have anything to add at the moment. He knew Kingston could talk enough for the both of them. As they started to walk towards the dorm instead his attention was on the surroundings around them and possibly if he could some one get something to arm himself with. Sure he was a Chimera and worse comes to worse he could set them on fire but he'd prefer not to worry about magic reserves at the moment.
He just wished there was a way to cut through the oppressive silence. It was dark enough and eeiry enough people were bound to fall prey to their own mind.

Was the school always this big? With everyone down in the bunker, the Academy's normally boisterous and cheerful hallways take on a more somber feel to them. Any slight sound might be the missing child, or a potential threat. Though the school's protective spells are still in effect, who is to say that whoever attacked the safehouses and university couldn't get through them?
Roll one 10-sided die, if you roll and even number, your character overcomes the increasing feeling of anxiety and perseveres. You do not lose any points. If you roll an odd number, your character begins to feel more and more anxious as time goes on, the slightest sound begins to wear on them and the ever looming threat of a potential attacker weighs on their mind. You lose 5 points (you cannot go into the negatives).
You only need to do this once, and it does not affect your normal rolls. Afterward you may continue rolling every 4 hours to gain points. You cannot gain points until after you have reacted to this prompt.
Aedus was in the lead, leading the way on their search for the freshling, he noticed that it was a fearful time, but he was able to shake off the fear and not let it bother him as he moved along towards the Language arts classroom they would be searching first. Aedus looked over his shoulder to make sure that Kappa and Niamh were alright. He wouldn't leave either of them behind so he could move faster. He would do this and he would do it right, it was the only way to get this task done and get out of here.
This was bad. Things were really not good, right now– they had to do what they could to find the child, and get out of here as soon as they could. "They're off to the left, here" Astra replied, brushing her anxiety off and turning to lead the way.
Coco was freaking out the shadows felt like they were closing in on her and she wasn't really looking at anything for a while. She might have walked right by the freshling and never knew they were there. She needed to get ahold of herself, but she just couldn't in that moment. Coco started to hyperventilate, the fear of the darkness, this night, the creatures that might jump out at any moment, was getting the best of her. Coco closed her eyes trying to shut the.. trying trying. She sat down on the floor for a moment swamped in her panic.

She was quick to lead them towards the dorm hallway, and moved to carefully open a door. No noises behind, aaand... nothing behind it, either. "Well, there's the first one, of... like, two hundred. Can we take them three at a time? We'll be together, just a few doorways apart at most."
The longer they spent out of the bunker, the more anxious Liam was starting to feel. He tried to cover it, not wanting to upset the others, but it was still there. Maybe it was just because he had been there when one of the safe points had been raided, and the others hadn't. There had been pretty much no warning, no hint that the invaders had gotten in.
Even though everything seemed quiet right now, it was a silence Liam didn't trust.
He shook his head in answer to Astra's suggestion. "Sticking together is still best. What if there's something in that room. It's better not to risk it. We'll just have to try to get through as many as we can. Hopefully a few are locked, that'll speed things up."
