Corporal AliezAliez yelped in surprise as he was thrown into the darkness--
Not darkness because a sudden flash of electricity crackled in the air in front of him and he yelped again, before scrambling back up to his feet, his eyes wild as he looked around him for--
“Andreiya??” he called, desperate to see where his fellow Velencian disappeared to when they were pulled into the fissure that opened and then--
“Vyn?? Vyn are you here?” he called, whirling around as more electricity crackled. And there were strange creatures, different from the youma that seemed to plague the city. What was this place? He held up his ComTech to try and get a reading but it didn’t seem to work.
“Andreiya! Vyn! Anyone?--”
No, not anyone. There were others there with the creatures. Senshi. Knights. Negaverse. Other senshi corrupted by some kind of Chaos.
One of the creatures lunged at him and he let out a cry of pain when it snapped at him with sharp teeth --
Oh right, his vambrace. He could use that to protect himself. For a little while. But he wanted to make sure no one else needed help too!

Eternal KamaciteThere were strange creatures and crackling electricity around him in this dark place. His hands and clothes were covered in dark, sticky substance like tar from where he’d been dropped into the cavernous world.
Kamacite was supposed to be meeting up with Cymophane and Reidite so he could help them with their quotas, but instead he was pulled into this world.
And he was tired.
He was tired of his friends being threatened by the strange things in the city. Tired of being tasked to do things that he knew he didn’t have the ability to handle.
Tired of wanting more than he knew he could ever have.
Kamacite grit his teeth and shoved at one of the winged creatures that tried biting him. They only managed to bite the overlarge sleeves of his robe -- which was the exact purpose they served for him.
He was barely on his knees when another bit at his ankle and he let out a cry of pain and anger. Another clawed at his arm. And when one lunged for his face, Kamacite held up his hand. Quote: Sailor Scout Attack: Solar FlareThere is a brilliant flash of light causing temporary but immediate disorientation and blindness that fades into horribly spotty vision; can last upwards of twenty seconds. The attack does not cause physical damage and is intended as a diversion or distraction. Has an effect radius of 8 feet (although the flash can be seen as one would see any flash), and can be used three times. Quote: Kamacite is open for interaction!

Corrupt Super CymophaneCymophane tipped head and stared after Faustite like someone might watch after a person who’d gone batshit insane but found their antics at least mildly entertaining. What made Faustite think the Queen would be disappointed in Jet and not, like, mildly relieved by his return, or, more than likely, expectant, like she knew he’d come back to where he belonged, Cymophane couldn’t begin to guess. Probably the same weird hang ups that had him snarling and exploding about boys.
Ah, well, there were more important things to be doing instead of muttering defenses on his superior officer’s behalf (“Don’t know why you’re surprised when we’ve disappeared now, too.”), such as avoiding all the creatures that tore their way through the fissures, which clearly weren’t youma but still snapped their jaws at Cymophane like a youma might.
“I’m more powerful than you,” Cymophane reminded Reidite.
He stayed behind the Lieutenant long enough that Reidite might satisfy his need to be overprotective, but when the creature Reidite decided to roar back at came too close, Cymophane stepped to the side to fling some magic at it without putting Reidite in harm’s way.
“See?” he said, when the creature screamed and exploded into sticky tar, splattering the front of Reidite’s uniform. “Oopsie.”
To the left, suddenly — a blinding flash of light. Or it would have been blinding, if Cymophane had been closer.
“Hey, Faustite!" he called, without bothering to look where he'd gone. Probably being feral somewhere. "I found Kama!”

Sailor Aschera, Corrupt Senshi of the FleshThe face Aschera made was intentionally indecipherable, given the angle, the lighting, all of those things - the way the other corrupt had almost seized when he'd tried to move, the way he was gingerly holding himself... he had worse issues than lacerations. Which, admittedly, looked of at least moderate severity in this light, but she didn't have healing magic, so she wasn't going to be a lot of magical aid on that front; her first-aid knowledge was purely mundane.
Before she could say anything on that front or about his potentially dislocated shoulder (which needed to be fixed, but the lighting in here was godawful and there were monsters everywhere, and she'd feel more confident about her chances of success anywhere else that wasn't a dank cave full of monsters and ooze), he was hissing at her, and Aschera backed up - rather understandably, she thought, given the boy on fire.
Burns left marks. That would be disadvantageous, even if she just wandered into the way. No thank you.

Super Sailor Arthuradel, Chibi Senshi of HonorArthuradel had just finished her homework for the evening and so she decided to head out to patrol for a few hours, perhaps she would get some practice in with her new super magic on some youma. However soon after she had transformed in a park she stumbled on what looked like a tear in reality. She couldn't say she was that surprised given all the other weird stuff that happened in this city but still this was a new one for the young senshi. She was examining the rift when she tripped and tumbled into the tear in reality. She found herself in a realm of darkness, an invisible current of electricity sent a shiver down her spine.
She looked around the dark realm there were a lot of people she didn't recognize, people from every group, some Dark Mirror senshi, some Negaverse agents, some of the aliens, and even civilians. That last part was worrying, she didn't like when normal people got mixed up with the magical world, people got hurt when that happened.
Then the preteen senshi spotted a familiar fury face, "Hani! Are you ok? is my sister here? Do you know where we are?" She asked the guardian cat in a hurry as she picked him up in a hug.
That was when she spotted the monsters. Tears like what she had come through had opened, however they weren't tears to Earth not they were to...someplace else. The young senshi set down the guardian cat. She didn't know what the monsters were, they looked like Youma but she didn't feel any chaos aura from them. "Hania stay behind me." The newly minted super senshi was ready to unleash her magic on the strange monsters, she just hoped it effected them as it did youma. As one of the monsters was about to reach her she called on magic. "Arthuradel Saber Pounce" Swinging down two ethereal sword she blasted the monster back. "We need to run!"

Sailor Tachibana, Chibi Senshi of ChrysanthemumsTachibana was out on patrol, she thought about what a quiet evening it was, she hadn't run into any youma or officers. It was a refreshingly peaceful night or at least it was until a rift in space opened up beneath her feet and sent her tumbling into some dark realm. Once she had regained her barring she looked around at where she had ended up. There were many powered auras around her both order and chaos, there were even aliens and civilians around.
She didn't like this large gatherings like this never ended well and this realm was already giving bad vibes beyond the darkness it felt like eletricity was dancing along her skin even though she could see no sparks. She continued scanning the crowd to see if there was anyone she knew when she spotted a familiar face.
"Ida-nee!" She called out to the older senshi as she ran over to her. "Do you have any idea where we are or what's going on?" The preteen asked the older woman. It was a long shot but maybe the veteran senshi knew whatever realm this was.
Then more rifts opened and out of these portals monsters came. Horrible monsters charging at the gathered crowd, she thought at first they might have been Youma but then she noticed they didn't feel like chaos plus they were going after the Negaverse agents as well. She didn't know what they were and she didn't want to find out.

Corporal Andreiya
Aliez had just been right in front of him. Mid sentence.
And then he was gone. At first, Andreiya hadn’t even seen where he’d gone. He thought, maybe, that he’d–what, slipped around the corner or something? No, he wouldn’t have run off like that.
And then, he felt the pull. The cold air.
He didn’t see the hole in the air until he was halfway through it, and by then it was too late to latch onto anything and try to drag himself away.
He didn’t hear Aliez calling for him but he heard him calling for Vyn–not that he could make out anyone in here before he landed, hard, on the ground. He’d been off balance before and had to quickly scramble to his feet to avoid being crushed by some–what was that?–some thing, that was hungry and roaring and trying to bite him or–
Oh!
“Aliez!” he called, and pulled out his blaster just as he sidestepped another monster rushing by.
He was out of his element and confused because this was nothing like Earth, or anywhere he’d ever been. “--Are you okay?” he asked, but any more questions were cut short when a third monster came running straight at him. He hadn’t had any choice–he fired his blaster at it just before it could take a bite out of his arm.

Sailor Amaterasu, Chibi Senshi of the Sunrise Amaterasu noticed the air felt sparky like a bunch static shocks. She didn't like the feeling, that and the darkness of this place was making her want to go home immediately. What she saw next did not change her mind.
More rifts opened but this time awful creatures stepped through, no more like pushed through. The monsters seemed feral like they would rip the crowd apart. She looked to her sister more than a little scared of the beasts.
"Onee-chan we need run!" She said as grabbed her sister's hand and tugged on to try to get her sister moving.

Super Sailor Izanami
To say that it had been a strange few days for Izanami was to say the very least. First, she'd gotten her upgrade to Super Senshi. Then, she'd traveled to her planet again, ostensibly to check on the dead spot, and had found...more than she had expected. Her own corpse. A ritual to align herself properly with her world.
Since then, her magic, previously unreliable and sometimes far too unfettered, had been firmly under her control. Leashed, properly, as it ought to be.
And now, she and her sister had tumbled into a crack in reality. There were monsters approaching. It would, she thought, be a great time for her magic to continue to behave.
Amaterasu tugged on her, trying to get her to run, but....this was a great dark expanse, and the monsters were everywhere. Where was there to run?
"No. Stay close. If we run off into the dark, we may lose each other." She brought up her hand. Called on her new magic.
"Cremation Pyre!"
Bright blue fire lit the area around her, and she slung it at the monster in front of her and her sister.

The fissures are erratic, sometimes dropping people onto the platform, and sometimes sucking others in. Sometimes, they even seem to grab one of the monsters. And yet, there’s no end to the swarm of them. Sometimes, you’re–fortunate?–enough to find an ally or familiar face from Destiny City, but these reinforcements aren’t exactly willing–most of them seem like they were plucked from their lives without any warning. The beasts clawing their way through the crowd have the advantage of knowing what’s going on, at least, and where to go. Simultaneously, they all seem to drop low to the ground–just as a great burst of electricity and pure, raw power surges through the air. It’s dizzying at its best and painful at its worst; though it does no physical damage, it can feel like it’s slicing through you. The creatures crawl along the ground while the electricity arcs, and as soon as it fades they are back on their feet–hurrying, still, into the dark distance. The same direction the lightning arced. If you were able to look, maybe you saw it hit something. Maybe you notice the sudden tear in the sky that seems to be slowly ripping the fabric of reality in two. Quote: The strange creatures are still violently attacking anyone and everyone they come into contact with, but they’re desperate to reach their goal. It’s hard enough to avoid them while moving, but the environment itself seems like it’s a giant catastrophe waiting to happen. The electricity is erratic and the haze of energy is smothering, but you can make it. You have to, if you want to survive. A large tear seems to be opening up in the direction the monsters are running in, and even the environment seems to be tearing itself apart to get there. You don’t know what’s hiding in the darkness–but whether you want to or not, you’re going to find out. Soon. Quote: If a player wants to interact with one of the attacking creatures, they can puppet it in their posts! The creatures cannot speak but might growl or roar; they will attack with their talons and sharp teeth. They can fly short distances but it seems difficult for them to get too much air. They do not seem to get along and may attack each other as well as characters; they have no energy signature and will target civilians and powered characters the same. They do not seem magical, though if they are attacked with great ferocity they will explode into a sticky black tar, not unlike what seems to be covering the surfaces in this strange pocket dimension.
Players can also choose to be affected by the electricity arcs or the oppressive energy in the area. It’s practically tangible–Chaos characters might even be able to drain some while they’re here. But, it’s dangerous, too–the pressure of it alone can make characters feel dizzy or fatigued, and they may even feel physical pain like being crushed or feeling sparks. While no actual physical damage is done, it is player choice if they want to be affected by any of this in their posts! This ORP is open to characters from all factions, including civilians! It will count as a regular roleplay for a civilian character but provided a powered character participates in any combat this can be used as a battle requirement. Civilians will be at a disadvantage narratively, but there is room for everyone to participate! You can play as many characters as you like, but players are discouraged from participating with more characters than they can reasonably play during the event. We strongly encourage players to fill out prompts as they go and make a genuine effort to backfill as soon as possible if they are not able to fill out their post immediately. You should not have more than one unfilled post at a time; you may reserve a post if you have the intention of responding quickly but please do not reserve a new post before filling out the last. There is no need to reserve posts between prompts; there will not be any dice rolls or repercussions from missing prompts. You can post as often as you like between mule posts. Players must put their character’s name and a link to their journal at the top of their posts. This ORP ICly takes place on Saturday, July 3rd so it is forward dated to the last day of the event. ICly it will last for about an hour. Characters who have been sucked through the strange rifts will be able to participate in an upcoming prompt but cannot join just yet. Prompts will regularly be posted ~every 72 hours. The time between final prompt and closing prompt will be ~48 hours and will be announced at the time; the ORP will close on Sunday, July 3rd. You can join the ORP at any time, up until the final prompt when new participants will no longer be permitted. There will be no dice rolling in this ORP; there are no rewards for being the highest roller or more active and this event was designed to be a little relaxed. Players will be able to both enter at any point in time and will be able to remove their characters from the central part of the ORP if they need to without suffering any IC repercussions. There are no repercussions if a player misses a prompt. Any player who participates with any character (or characters) and writes at least 500 words will be eligible for rewards at the end of this roleplay; playing multiple characters will not yield multiple rewards so you only need one to participate. At any point in time between now and a prompt that says otherwise, your character can be sucked into another fissure and disappear from the platform or a character who participated in the Disappearances prompt can come through a fissure and join the ORP. Characters can be sucked in or pushed out together or alone, it’s up to the players. The next prompt will be posted sometime after 5 PM EST on Saturday, June 25th!

Spei, Page of the Moon Letting the woman and girl flee, Spei staggered on as fast as he could while clutching his savaged arm. It was the only thing he could do; he didn't want to slow the other two down, but he still had to continue on with the flow of the monsters. He could feel the blood soaking the arm of his coat and seeping between his fingers; he didn't want to stop and look at it though and risk getting attacked again or trampled by the creatures.
A sudden and massive bolt of electricity shot out of nowhere then, causing the monsters to belly flop on the ground and crawl forward beneath it. "Aaaaa," Spei yelped as it jolted right past him, not an arm's length away. He could feel the energy in the current vibrating through his body and making his wounds ache, but he was thankful it hadn't actually hit him or he'd have been toast. As quickly as it appeared, it ended; it seemed to target a spot in the distance ahead – the same direction he and the monsters and everyone trapped here were headed.
A large fissure began to rend itself open ahead, and the winged things swarmed toward it. What was going on now?

tatterpixie Sorry, I was waiting for the next prompt Squire LourdesOh great. He didn't know where they were going either. Fantastic. Lourdes would have rolled her eyes if she wasn't so worried about keeping herself and the kid who mistook her for a ballerina safe. Lourdes was of the opinion that they should be running away from whatever they were running towards, personally, especially now that it was launching lightening/ at them. Her priority was getting out and getting safe. But madness raged around her and she lost track of one of the trio. The knight from... somewhere... she hadn't memorized color pallets yet and to be fair that was low on her priority list. The point was that somewhere along the line he'd fallen behind. She found him when he screamed. Still holding onto the girl, Lourdes raced back to the knight, grabbing his arm the same way he'd grabbed her when they had met. "Not knowing where you're going doesn't mean you get to fall behind," she scolded.

Spei, Page of the Moon Spei felt a sudden tug at his undamaged arm. Turning to look, he saw the Knight he'd been with, still holding onto the girl as well. "Thank you," he said weakly. He had no idea how much blood he may have lost, but he felt it might be a pretty good amount. The pain was clearly affecting his thinking as well. They were safer in a group.
"We need to get out of here." Problem was, he had no idea where here was or which way the exits were. He snorted a soft laugh, thinking this was like one of those old Infocomm text-based dungeon games his dad used to play. No idea why that sprang to mind when he was bleeding profusely and trapped in an alternate dimension of some sort that was all black and sticky.
He urged himself forward as another bolt of electricity arced past, not as close this time. At the same time he eyed the massive tear that was opening up ahead of and above them. Where did it lead?

HennyHenny had no idea what was going on she just followed after the pair and kept going. She was worried about the knight that had been hurt, and she had been clawed too this had gotten real, really fast. Which was really weird since she had been so certain it was all a dream. Now she was running from monsters with a bunch of magic people who would have thought.

Morpheus Dark Mirror of SurrealityMorpheus found himself running with the other dark mirror members and he was paying close attention to the girl that had been so afraid. He didn't want her to get hurt and was willing to take attacks to protect her. He was reminded of the wish that girl had made and he was thinking about that as he did his best to protect his fellow court member. He blew soot on the monsters in an attempt to distract them and keep them away from his group. They had to get out of here as soon as they could.
