Anniliese wasn't a morning person at all. But today she had wanted to do some last-minute Christmas shopping down. She grabbed the car's keys and got in the car and made her way to the mall. Every year she had gotten pictures with Santa for her grandparents. This was a tradition that started when she was an infant. She had been doing it even as she became an adult. She scanned the busy parking lot for a spot. After finding a spot she made her way into the mall. It was busy this year. She had to make sure she got what she needed and make her way back home.
The tradition also involved wearing the ugly Christmas sweaters that her grandma would make for her. As soon as she received the sweater she would make her way to the mall to take pictures with Santa while wearing the sweater. She entered the mall and looked around for accessories to go with the sweaters. This years sweater had reindeer's on them. She went into Claire's and found some cute reindeer earrings and an antler headband.
She made her way to the Santa set and groaned when she got a little closer. It was packed. There was a long line. The line shouldn't be this long. It was the first week. From her observations, parents like to rush in at the last week to take pictures. A majority of parents are procrastinators. She got in the back of the line and shook her head. It wasn't told he heard a strange noise that she peeked around to see that there were real-life reindeer on the set.
"That must be why the lines so packed. Everyone probably wanted to get pictures with them.".
Anniliese has never seen a real-life reindeer before. They were much bigger than she had imagined. While the thought of taking pictures with the reindeer was appealing to Anniliese she didn't think that the whole thing was safe. An hour of standing in line and Anniliese was next in line.
but before Anniliese could even step forward the reindeer started to act funny. They grunted and squirmed. they used their antlers to get loose of their chains and they began to run throughout the mall. instantly people began to scream and adults grabbed their children, taking them away from the reindeer so they didn't end up getting trampled to death.
Moving out of the way as the reindeer ran for her Anniliese watched as the security guards tried to grab the reindeer and trap them. but the reindeer simply kicked them away. Anniliese couldn't help but wince as she saw a guard get kicked across the room. that looked like it hurt. "call the police!" one scared shopper cried. but it was much too late for that. the door of the mall was wide open due to the number of people leaving and the reindeer managed to run out of the mall, now causing difficulties throughout the street.
But soon a few people ended up grabbing their phones and calling the cops. but the reindeer did destroy a few things before the police even arrived. one reindeer ended up running into a guy's garden and began to eat all of his flowers and plants. the guy started to scream at the reindeer in question. but the reindeer just kept eating his garden. the guy then tried to throw an object at the reindeer. but in response, the reindeer rushed towards him. luckily, the guy ran into his house before he ended up getting hurt. but some people weren't as lucky. it turns out that reindeer were fairly dangerous when they were angry. no people died, yet. but some people were badly hurt. most people were hiding in their houses and or cars while the reindeer destroyed everything in sight. another reindeer charged into a car that nobody was in and ended up flipping it over, obliterating the car, and turning it into a useless chunk of metal. Anniliese knew that the mall was going to have to pay a lot for this. Anniliese was hiding in her car and she was half-tempted to drive away. but she wanted to see how this ended. besides, if she drove away the reindeer might try to follow her and Anniliese didn't want her car destroyed. so she was the safest just staying here.
Luckily, the police and the ambulances arrived. people already tried to contain the reindeer. but it didn't work out very well and only more people ended up getting hurt. but the police soon came and ended up shooting the reindeer with tranquilizer darts. soon the reindeer ended up falling onto the ground and the police ended up calling a wildlife sanctuary to take them back.
"Everything is safe. you can go home now. if you have any issues then contact the mall." one policeman said.
After that most people calmed down and left while other people went into the mall to scream at the people in there. Anniliese didn't blame them. if she or somebody she cared about getting hurt because the mall was stupid then she would be pissed too. shaking away her thoughts Anniliese then drove back to her house. but she soon realized that she left her gifts at the mall. sighing Anniliese she would have to either wait for that mall to cool down or go to another one. but Anniliese was just grateful that she was safe.
Title: Thoughts Type: Solo Key People: Word Count: 534 Summary:
Anniliese walked over to her father's car. She was going to go out and get some groceries and get something to eat. She had a lot on her mind. Now that she had upgraded whatever that meant, she didn't know what would come next for her. She was supposed to be more powerful and had a new power. But she still felt the same as she did before she upgraded. She felt weak and hollow inside. She didn't feel as excited about powering up and going on patrols. The thought of being a Senshi, about doing anything related to being a Senshi just made her feel dread and it wasn't so appealing to her anymore.
She stopped going out and stayed locked up in her home. She tried focusing on other things. She thought that maybe if she just took a break from the whole thing she could hopefully recollect her thoughts and think about what she wanted to do. But nothing.
"Maybe I am not cut out for the whole senshi life.
Anniliese parked in the grocery store parking lot and made her way inside the store. She had to figure out what to do with herself and make a choice about what she wanted to do about the whole situation. The only thing was that worrying and trying to figure out the whole thing was really stressing her out and she was starting to lose sleep over the whole thing. Maybe she should seek out a guardian cat and see if they can offer any kind of advice. She had to do something.
She stepped into the store and then remembered that she had forgotten her shopping list. She was going to have to try and remember what she wanted to buy. She made her way down every aisle in hopes of seeing something that would spark her memory of what was on the shopping list. The whole time she was there she kept getting sidetracked. She couldn't even think about what she was going to buy at the grocery store. She kept thinking about other things. Her mind kept going back to being a Senshi. She couldn't stop the thoughts from coming. She was so lost in her thoughts that she almost ran into an elderly couple.
"I'm so sorry."
She quickly turned her cart around and made her way to the register with whatever she had in her cart. She would have to either go shopping another time or have one of her brothers do the shopping. She just couldn't concentrate on anything.
She was able to make it to the car and made her way home. She had wanted to stop at a fast-food restaurant to get something to eat but since she couldn't concentrate or think straight she decided to just make her way home and look around for something to eat. She had to try and get her thoughts and affairs in order.
There was just so much going on in her mind. Not only the whole Senshi thing but balancing personal life at the same time. She would have to probably take more time off to think about what she was going to do next step.

Title: Walking home at night Type: SOLO Key People: Anniliese Word Count: 648 Summary: Anniliese gets spooked
It was going to be a long walk home for Anniliese. It was late out, so late that the bus stopped running. Anniliese would normally call an uber or something but she feared she wouldn't have enough. She decided to walk a little bit till she was up to the halfway then call for a ride home. She pulled her coat tighter around her and kept walking. She silently cursed herself for not taking her father's car with her. She wanted to do a little exercise and told herself that she was only going to be out for a tiny bit.
That tine bit turned into hours. She just wanted to make a quick trip to the grocery store and look around. Plus she wanted to have the time to think. She was going to have the house to herself for two weeks. Her father was leaving to visit his friend who was getting married for the fourth time. This time he says as with all previous marriages that this is the last that he had found the "one." Anniliese had rolled her eyes when she heard that. Sure bud. But the failed marriages won't the women's fault it was his. Apparently, he did not know how to keep his d""" in his pants. Anniliese gave this marriage seven months or less before it fails.
But her father loved his best friend and couldn't say anything bad about him. Anniliese sighed and shooked her head. She continued onward home. She stopped and pulled her phone out. She was only ten blocks from her home. But the thing is they were kinda long blocks. And to make it worse there were hardly any streetlights. She checked how much battery she had on her phone and turned her phone's flashlight on. She continued walking and looked around. She was staying alert just in case. She always heard about people who didn't pay attention to their surroundings ending up missing or worse. She wasn't going to let that happen to her. She patted her pants pocket. She had remembered her mace and tazer. Her father had brought it for her and told her to always remember to keep herself safe at all times. He also had signed her up for martial arts. And self-defense class. About five blocks in she stopped and put the groceries she had on the ground and shook her hands and wiggled her fingers. Yup, she should have taken the car.
At the eighth block, she stopped and became extra alert. She was about to approach the abandoned house that everyone tried to avoid. The infamous murder house. The story went that a woman was killed in that house and the only person with her at that time her boyfriend was nowhere to be seen. People started avoiding the house when strange things start happening. Lights would turn on and off. Water could be here running for hours. Anniliese started to walk a little bit faster. She wanted to pass the house and be far away from it she was almost home. She was almost to the next block when she heard a noise. It sounded like a window opening. She turned her head to peek at the house and saw that one of the upstairs room lights was on. It wasn't on before. That was not all she saw she also saw a silhouette it looked to be that of a woman. Anniliese stopped walking to look. She wasn't sure if she was really seeing what she was saying. Just then the silhouette's head turned. It turned toward her.
Anniliese screamed and ran as fast as she could She screamed and screamed until she made her way home. Getting inside the house she locked the door and slumped down on the ground. She was grasping for breath. Was someone in the house? Or was it something else?
Title: First Rollercoster Type: SOLO Key People: Anniliese Word Count: 840 Summary: Anniliese's first time on a rollercoaster.
Anniliese remembered the first time she fell in love with roller coasters. She was around twelve years old. Her grandparents had taken her and her brothers to the amusement park. She was so excited because her grandparents were not into big crowded places and usually avoided them at all cost. She was bouncing with glee when holding on tight to her grandpa as they made their way into and around the park. At that time she didn't see the coasters yet. She was enjoying the food from all the food stands that they putted towards the entrance of the park to get customers to buy.
She was eating her cotton candy when she saw it. It was a huge coaster. She stopped in front of the ride and listened to the screams and laughter coming from it. When the coster stopped and people got off she saw their happy expressions and saw the way some of them ran to get back in line to ride again. When er brothers started to run over to get behind the line she ran to go with them. But was stopped by her Grandma. "Oh no that is too big and scary for you to ride. Let's find you another one."
Her grandma tried to pull her away. "Ooh that one looks nice." Anniliese looked at the ride in question. It was a minerature boncey house. Anniliese poked out her lips and looked up at her grandma. "But I want to ride that one."
Her grandma shooked her head. Anniliese did what she always did when her grandma says no to things. She runs to her grandpa. "Pop, Pop I want to ride that one." She had batted her eyes and looked up at him with a smile.
Her grandfather had looked down at her and his eyes started to soften. "Why sure sweet pea." He looked back at the line until he saw her brothers. "Go join your brothers." She ran over to them before her grandma could say anything. She looked back will quick to see her grandma and grandpa arguing. "Hey you sure about this squirt?" Her oldest brother had asked when he had saw her beside her. "Yes." Her other brother looked at her and frown. "You better not scream my eyes off. And don't throw up after and embrasses us.
After waiting a long time in line they were able to get on the ride. The ride operator had narrowed his eyes at her and was making his way other to them with a measuring stick. He got to them and smiled. "Sorry guys but I would lose my job if I don't measure her." He had her stand up straight. "Yeah she is OK. Just by a bit. Looks good to me." Anniliese was so happy she got on the ride and the operator made sure she was buckled up good."
The attendant got on a microphone and started talking about safety. He then did a countdown. It was doing this countdown at Anniliese started thinking.
Five. She clenched her sweaty hands and had a nervous smile on her face. Four. She was glad her grandpa had taken off the hat she was wearing to it would have fallen off. Three. Why did she got on this? Two. Her brother tilted his head toward her, smiling.
“Ready?” he asked.
One. She nodded slightly and the ride began. The music immediately started pumping through the headset. she could not hear anything else. The car shot forward at unimaginable speeds. she was screaming. However, she was screaming with thrill rather than fright. They boosted up a hill, not the biggest one, but still pretty tall. she couldn’t even tell if they were going up or down, so by the time they were over this hill she was ready for the big one. The ride continued over a few more bumps and then approached the big hill. The coaster slowed and snapped into place on the inclining tracks. They started going up: click, click, click, slowly but surely. She tilted my head, resting it to the side, and took in an amazing view. She could see across the whole park. They were so high, She didn’t dare look down. Click, click, click, it would take a while to get to the top.
Click, click, clunk, They were at the top.
Anniliese peeked over the front of the coaster as the people sitting up front started screeching. She could see the big drop coming. She was excited! Anniliese soon joined the screeching riders as their division of the car fell over the hill. Wind raced through her hair and cooled her face. That was so much fun. When the coaster came back to the port she didn't want to get off. Her brother had to drag her off and tell her that they can get back in line and ride again. Despite her Grandma's frowning face she was able to not only ride the coaster again but went on another big one.

Scientists have been hard at work trying to understand the strange, glowing qualities of the luminescent caterpillars found in the caves by the reservoir. The caterpillars still shrivel up if they are taken out of the caves but their glowing secretions have been processed into an organic paste that can withstand the outside world. The city is selling paper lanterns infused with various seeds. The glow paste is full of minerals to support healthy plant growth without risking damage to the environment; all lantern purchases come with a small packet of activating power that will heat the paste up enough to mimic the effects of a candle without the concerns of flammability. When the glow paste loses its heat, the lantern will return to the Earth and upon the first rain (or any contact with water) the paper will dissolve and the seeds may begin to grow. All proceeds from the lanterns are put right back into the community to support local conservation and environmental protection efforts.
Anniliese heard about the caterpillars that glowed from a news article. She was very intrigued by them and wanted to learn more about them. She decided the day before the Star Festival to go to the library to see what she could do about them. There seemed to be a lot of animals that glow or something to it. The only bug that came to mind when she thought about bugs that glowed were fireflies. She remembers when she was young and visited her grandparents and her brothers and her using jars to try to catch fireflies. She wasn't good at it but her cousin was quite good at it. But caterpillars that glow? Never did she actually really hear about them. She skipped through lots of sites trying to find what she really wanted to find. She found out what she wanted. They are said to grow in the caves by the reservoir. Anniliese knew where the caves were. They were not far from where she lived. Anniliese only wanted to learn more about the caterpillars because when she heard about the paper lanterns, she wanted to purchase some for herself and check them out. She wanted to make sure she did all the research about them that was necessary. The caterpillars couldn't be removed from the caves. According to scientists they would shrivel up and die if they ever left the cave. Anniliese didn't want to take them out of their natural habitat. She just wanted to hopefully see them with her own eyes. But that may have to be another mission for another day. She was going to go and buy some of the lanterns. She was quite happy that the lanterns were friendly to the environment. She would go to the festival and buy several of them. Since she was already at the library the first thing she wanted was to check out some books. With that done she made her way to the bank. Anniliese didn't usually carry cash. She would just either use her debit card or stop by an ATM and tack out how much she thought she would have needed. She wasn't sure how much the lanterns cost but she estimated how much she would probably need for them and for other stuff she may want to buy. The next day she made her way to the festival to buy the lanterns. The lady at the festival was telling how the lanterns worked. The paper Lanterns were infused with various seeds. The glow paste that was made from the secretions of the caterpillars was full of minerals to support healthy plant growth that didn't do any kind of damage to the environment. The lanterns that came with purchases come with a small packet of activating power that will heat the paste-up enough to mimic the effects of a candle without the concerns of flammability. That part was good since Anniliese had planned to release them out in the open.
"I hope they look good at night."
She had her night camera ready to take pictures. She hoped they came out good. But before she went she wanted to go and take a look at the charm booth that they had set up at the festival.

A Destiny City Star Festival Tradition to be held every year; In Town Square, there is a beautiful tree with spreading branches. It is tall, but the lowest branches are easily reached. The city has decorated the tree with small, starlike ornaments and glistening lights. Thick leaves and beautiful purple flowers dangle from the branches, along with a myriad of different colored papers with handwritten wishes. Next to the tree is a stack of blank paper with twine attached, and a handwritten sign that explains:
Write your wish on a sheet of paper and tie it to the tree. Take one wish off the tree and do your best to grant it. When you have granted the wish, bury the paper in the park.
The papers are biodegradable and filled with seeds. There are no rules for wishing, but you are encouraged to wish for something vague enough that it can be interpreted in many ways so that it can be granted; you do not write your name on it, but it is encouraged to write something that doesn’t wish for self gain, but rather something that can make the world a better place. Some wishes dangling from the tree already include things like “I wish there wasn’t so much litter in the park,” “I wish someone would clean the graffiti off the old historic buildings,” and “I wish there were more volunteers at the shelter.”
If you choose to use the Wishing Tree, what do you wish for? If your wish is private, you may write it on the paper and choose a spot in the park and bury it yourself instead of hanging it on the tree.
Anniliese went over to the wishing tree. This was her what? 2nd, third time at this event? She took a paper and fumbled around in her purse for a pen. What was she going to wish for? She sighed and stared at the tree and the other wishes on it. She knew that the wishes that were written on papers on the tree were wishes that was about helping the earth or something of that nature. Something that can do the world a better place. She tapped the pen against the bottom of her lip as she tried to think of something.
The tree was a very beautiful tree. Very tall with branches spreading each and every way. The ornaments and lights that the tree was decorated with were simply beautiful and breathtaking to look at. Anniliese wasn't sure if pictures were allowed or not and didn't want to risk getting in trouble. Even though names were not written in the notes she just didn't want to take the risk and have security escort her outside. That would be too embarrassing for her to even think of. She found a spot near the tree and sat down and tried to think of what she was going to wish for. She tried to think about not only what she wished for before but of the wishes, she tried to grant. After a person writes their wish down and hangs it on the tree they are supposed to take another wish that is not their own and try to answer the wish to their best abilities or interpret the wish as they seem fit.
She hoped she got a good wish, something that she could actually happily grant. But before doing that maybe she should first tackle on what she wanted to wish for. The common wish that she could guess that everyone could wish for was something like world peace. But Anniliese that wish just seemed so overused all the time. A part of her also thinks that the majority of the people who make such a wish themselves were not peaceful, caring people at all. And then some of them just pick the wish just cause it was the only one they can think of and just wanted to get it over with. She remembered what her wish last year was. It was the same as the previous year. She had wished more people would believe in Global Warming and believe in it.
She sighed, That was one cause that she was ready to fight to the death for. She wished people will take better care of the earth that they lived on. She was about to write that wish again but before she did she thought about whether she wanted to wish for something different. Just mix it up a bit. A new wish had suddenly come to mind. She thought about her rescue cat back home. Her baby. Her spoiled princess. She took the pen top off and started to write her wish.
"I wish more people would adopt from shelters and not buy at puppy mills or pet stores."
She smiled and hung the wish on the tree. She then went to the other side of the tree to pick a wish to fulfill.
After she picked out a wish she quickly read it. The wish was an easy thing to accomplish. She had gotten one that she could actually do. She tucked the wish in her pocket and went about to do the wish. On her way from the tree she passed by the booth with the colorful Star Charms. She kept telling herself that she had to to check out the booth and take a closer look at them.

To any explorers visiting the new Reservoir, they may find that just a bit away from the sandy water are a set of caves. Some of these connect back to the lake, but others rapidly plunge into darkness. It wouldn't be hard to get lost in here, but thankfully there are some very odd lights to help guide you out. If you turn off your light down some of these dark paths, you may find yourself surrounded by glowing pastel lights. A closer inspection reveals that you seem to be looking at some sort of glowing caterpillars. An internet search will reveal that Destiny City scientists have been researching the strange, unnamed creatures, but the articles are very limited. If you take them out of the cave they seem to shrivel up almost immediately. They’re neat, but clearly meant to be stay in their natural habitat.

The Reservoir (4) : The Destiny City Reservoir opened about two years ago and is an easy escape from the big city. It’s a five minute drive outside of the Eastern side of town and features clear water and sandy beaches--although, the sand here is notorious for squeaking when you step on it. It’s a hot spot for all fun summer activities, but it’s been in the news for mysterious reports of some strange, aquatic monster. Some accounts say they’ve spotted a twenty foot long, snake like creature capable of rearing a long neck high above the water. It’s hard to tell if the videos are doctored, but there are too many rumors to dismiss easily. Something strange might be lurking deep in the water. Or it’s just a hoax to get people out to the Reservoir!
But…Sometimes, people feel like something is grabbing their ankle, even if they are just wading in the shallow end. In the deeper parts of the water, it gets a little more intense: something has been said to grab onto ankles and pull. People have been warned about dangerous pranks, but so far no one has been caught. In the shallow end, anyone unfortunate enough to be targeted may feel themselves being knocked off their feet and tugged into the water; anyone in deep water may feel a firm grip on their ankle, tugging them lower and lower. Somehow, anyone it targets is freed--either by wriggling and fighting, or because someone intervenes and pulls the would-be victim up. No one has drowned in the lake. Yet. It's impossible to see who, or what, is doing this, but it usually gives up after one failed attempt. Usually.
While you may find yourself harassed by the supposed cryptid, or see something visibly odd in the distance, you cannot take any pictures of the creature. Who knows if you’re even being attacked by the cryptid–or just another youma?
