Lovely Belrose

Lovely took the offered robe with a grimace (Senshi attire was rarely practical), but refused to take Kamacite’s hand. Instead, he grabbed onto Kamacite’s forearm and used it to haul himself to his feet.

Only to be knocked into Kamacite and nearly thrown to the ground again by a powerful gust of air.

There was lightning and sparks. There was a much larger creature. (Of course there was. At this point, no matter where he happened to find himself, the events that followed were utterly predictable. Some sort of large creature from ******** knows where would show itself eventually.)

Lovely considered telling Kamacite who he was, but as Kamacite seemed more amenable to helping a civilian than helping Aquamarine, Lovely would continue the farce.

“I don’t suppose you can do anything about that,” he said, indicating the large creature.

The gusts of wind pushed them nearer to it. There seemed to be no way to avoid it. Lovely’s hand flexed again, wishing for a sword, a dagger, anything that might actually allow him to do something.

---------

Corrupt Super Cymophane

He could see Destiny City through the fissures, familiar places around town, all of them much safer than where they currently found themselves.

Although… perhaps that was giving Destiny City too much credit. It wasn’t exactly safe there, either, what with the war going on, and a vengeful Princess set free among them. Yet it had to be better than a violent swarm of non-youma creatures and some large gargoyle trying to rip its way to… somewhere.

The wind nearly knocked Cymophane off of his feet. Wary of getting himself trampled, he grabbed onto Reidite to hold himself steady. The gusting air was so powerful it nearly stole the breath from him.

Reidite thought they should join Kamacite. Cymophane would normally agree. The problem was getting there without being blown over, or before Kamacite was blown out of reach.

“If we can make it to one of those tears to Destiny City…”

We might be able to escape went unsaid.

Sailor Ymir

The wind knocked Ymir to the ground. He tried to rise, but fell again. One of the creatures clambered over him, ripping through the leg of his trousers and leaving a thin streak of blood in its wake. Again, he tried to push himself to his feet, rising onto his arms to watch the much larger creature tear the realm apart, in search of… what? Ymir couldn’t hope to guess.

He didn’t understand this place. He didn’t understand these creatures. It wasn’t Chaos. It wasn’t like anything he’d ever faced before.

Something was happening. Ymir felt it. Sinking, almost. Like he might fall. Like they all might fall.

He wondered if it was even worth it to fight. He was useless here, powerless now that he’d depleted his magic. Perhaps if he just put his head down and resigned himself to it, the end would be easy.

Cadet Vaylin

Vaylin slashed one of the monsters across the eyes with her knife sending it sprawling as she looked up to the voice that had called her name. "'Vyn!" Her heart ached seeing the Corporal, he had been with the majority of the Vanguard who had sided with their Commodore. She felt no ill will towards the others even if she disagreed with them and the Commodore she knew they were just trying to save their people. She couldn't agree with their method, couldn't agree with siding with an evil group like the Negaverse, couldn't agree with sacrificing their own king to save their world; but she knew that they only wanted the best for Velencya. Her heart ached siding against them and she hoped one day she or one of the others who joined King Caedus would find an alternative way to save their world and the two sides could forget their differences.

But now was not the time to have such thoughts, not the time to discuss things with the Corporal in front of her. She nimbly ducked as a monster tried to clawed at her face. She repaid it by burring her energy dagger in it's chest paralyzing the best for a moment. "Just a little bit ago I fell through a portal of some kind." She answered her breathing a little labored from the fight.

Then the wind came, a gale force suddenly filled the space nearly knocking the young Cadet right off her feet and into the Corporal. She grit her teeth as she tried to hold on against the violent wind. "Something's happening!" She hissed against the wind.

Then the titan appeared, some gigantic monster with a huge glowing crystal that radiated power forced itself into the realm through the large rift. "Vyn, we need to stop that creature." She didn't know what it's intentions were but it was clearly dangerous and she did not want to wait to see what it would. She struggle to her feet to try to get to the huge monster.

Lacille senshi of books

Lacille watched as a rift open up in the sky. She saw the crystal in its chest and was curious if that was its weak point. Stranger things had happened after all. Then she realized it wasn't order or chaos.. There was something wrong with it and she wished she had a way for it to tell her what the problem was so she could help. She needed a spell so she could read a creature like a book. This wasn't the first time she had encountered a situation where she was wondering what the creature was thinking.

She didn't want to hurt the poor thing but those portals were the only way out so she kept running and dodging creatures going in the same direction. This was no easy task since they were really determined. She stopped and looked around to try and figure out what all the factions were doing with this situation. Were they going to try to kill the creature or help it and all get out of here? She sighed out something was ever simple in their world. Everything was a crazy down the rabbit whole time and they were all going to be late.

Actaea corrupt senshi of the Harvest

Actaea stopped in her tracks when the rift opened and she saw the huge creature with the crystal, well that was different. She turned her head to the side and sensed the thing was not order or chaos. She wondered then if she could be neither. Why did she have to be one side or the other. Why couldn't they all just be who they were instead of fighting endlessly for a war that had no light at the end of the tunnel? She sensed there was something wrong with the creature that she didn't think that scythes would cure.

She frowned and went running forward again. No matter what was going on they had to get out of here otherwise they were all toast and then no one would be alive to help anyone. She jumped over one of the small creatures and set her scythes on them instead. She didn't think they were like the bigger creature. They might be trying to kill the bigger one for all she knew and the big one was harmless to them? She didn't have time to figure it out for now. She huffed out a breath and kept going.

Spei, Page of the Moon

Despite the pain he was in, Spei looked at the giant beast in front of them with grim determination. "I agree," he said to the Knight. "There must be a reason they're attacking it. And look behind it – rifts leading back to Destiny City." He pointed as one opened up, giving them a tantalizing glimpse of streetlights and normalcy before closing again.

The wind was pushing them in that direction anyway – why not take a crack at it? The worst that could happen was they all die...

The huge monster screamed again, leaving Spei's ears ringing as if he'd been at a show right next to the speakers. He watched the other Knight summon her weapon and use her magic, sending a river of water toward the thing. He had no idea what her magic did, but he hoped it worked as he made his way forward, forced in that direction by the wind and the lesser monsters still swarming around them.

Ilian Jones

Another fissure.

Ilian braced himself as he was dropped into another area of the strange, sticky world, annoyed that his slippers were now covered in tar, or whatever it was. He’d long since dropped the bag of garbage he’d been in the process of throwing out when the world pulled him in… a couple days ago? How long had they been in there?

One of the companions he’d met originally had already scampered off to be with his own kind. Ilian’s eyes narrowed on the pointy eared aliens, but then had to focus on keeping himself from being blown over with the wind that ripped through the strange world.

And there were creatures. Not youma, he was certain, although he couldn’t power up for some reason. He was really pissed about that.

As a civilian, he was more than willing to let the others with actual magic and weapons handle the great beast of a creature, and hopefully they would all be able to sneak out.

Without falling.

Besides, there was someone more important than the giant monster with the giant crystal in its chest.

“Love,” he let out a breath of relief when he caught sight of Lovely, and quickly made his way over to him. Kamacite was there too, and apparently gave Lovely his robe but… <********, you’re hurt,” he fussed, hands reaching out to hover over Lovely’s shoulders. The robe could only hide so much with the blood soaking into the fabric.

Sailor Surtur, DSS of Desolation

Surtur stood with his hands on his hips as both Vyn and Ilian ran in their separate directions. Did they not understand that they were likely to have better odds of survival if they stayed together? Not that Surtur hadn’t survived for hundreds of years with minimal resources and Chaos trying to destroy him at every turn. No, that was fine, they could run off and be with the people they knew, apparently. It wasn’t as though Surtur had anyone he could run to. Everyone he knew must have been dead if their worlds had been taken over by Chaos. He just didn’t expect them to be able to withstand it like he’d been able to.

Oh. Oh. Except there was one person who seemed very strangely familiar. And they looked as though they hadn’t aged since they last saw each other, regardless of their slow aging already.

Except there were creatures to deal with. And a giant monster that looked ready to destroy them all. Unless it was lonely and needed friends? Or it was gathering them all into one place to eat. Hmm, Surtur decided he would rather not take his changes, unfortunately for the giant monster.

However, he did have to deal with the smaller creatures and the wind. He’d dealt with strong winds before, and braced himself against the sticky ground. He cast his magic to try and cripple several of the monsters looking to attack him, and he hissed at how many there were.

And it didn’t look like the young man he recognized was faring any better. If anything he was doing pretty poorly.

“This way,” he suggested to Ymir, knocking into one of the creatures that had leapt to attack him so hard that it burst into tar. “If we join together with the others, we can form a better defense,” he said as he reached for Ymir’s hand to pull him away from another creature preparing to attack.

Sailor Neckar, Senshi of Protea

Neckar didnt see Tink anywhere, as he tried to fend of the weird flying monsters. It should have been easy, but there were quite a few others here, just everywhere and no one was safe from whatever was going on. He decided for now to better focus on the task it at, he had to get past these things.

Of course, that's always when things go from bad to worse and the thing that seemed to appear after tearing ... reality??? That was certainly worse and what more, crazy wind seemed to come from nowhere slamming Neckar forward and the 6'2" wall of muscle that he was barely managed to avoid running right into a girl and in blue fuku.

Ugh," he groaned from his place on the ground ... or whatever it was they were standing on. "Sorry about that," he said bracing himself as another harsh gust of wind rushed over him. "You okay?"

Pharos, Squire of Chronos

Pharos didnt know her friend followed her, how could she, when she got sucked in first? Right now she tried to focus on not being overly injured, which seemed less and less possible. Her staff was now a bat as far as she was concerned and she was trying to fend of the flying monster. "Batter up," she shouted as she swung and thwacked on that was too close for comfort.

She decided looking around to try to follow the lead of the other's though it was hard to see and she wasn't terrible close to anyone.

She heard something rip and turned to see a huge creature, the stuff of nightmare much closer to her than she appreciated. She quickly shuffled back, not that it helped because a gust a wind knocked her right on her feet sliding her closer to the beast.

"What ...?!?"

She pulled herself to her feet watching as the creature kept tearing open portals, on the other side of which she could see ... was that the park? She wondered if they could make it through a portal before it closed, but also feared it closing on her. Not only that the creature was opening them faster and more frantically.

It screeched and she had to cover her ears shrinking back from the sound.

Corporal Andreiya

“No, I am not okay!” Andreiya answered quickly and honestly, because he was not going to pretend like any of this was okay!

They were having a nice, peaceful conversation and Earth was just opening up, sucking them in–dropping them in with monsters! With–

His eyes widened as the great chasm in the sky grew. The arcing electricity was bad enough; he felt like his hair was standing on end and his skin felt like it was scratchy. The gusts of wind were pushing them towards the chasm–towards the giant beast inside.

He saw the talons. He saw the teeth.

He saw glimpses of Destiny City, of a way out.

Instinctively, he moved closer to Aliez and made sure that his arm was locked with the other Corporal.

In the mess of things, he could hardly make out who was around them, but he didn’t really feel safe with any group but the Vanguard.

Andreiya wasn’t hurt; he hadn’t been damaged but he was flustered and unhappy with the monsters that kept attacking them. He fired at another one when it came at them, and waved his blaster like he intended to hit another with it. By then, the creatures seemed more distracted with the sudden passageway, but Andreiya could still feel the wind pushing them towards it. He held onto Aliez a little tighter.

“I hate this planet, this is the worst. What is this, do you recognize any of it?”

…And if he didn’t, did he have a plan to get out?

Did anyone?

[SENSHI] Anniliese Mathieu//Super Sailor Tjilaki

Anniliese had somehow managed to get a little further behind the creatures without getting in their way. She had to make it to the other side. But she stopped when the tear had gotten bigger. At first, she thought that would make it easier for her and the others trapped there but nope. There was an even bigger creature hiding there. "WTH" She barely had time to comprehend what she was seeing when someone collided into her. It was another Senshi. She bent and offered her hand. "It's OK. Looks like the opening got bigger, but there is a creature blocking the path. The creatures and the wind that was flowing in though the hole was the only obstacle that she could see so far.

Henny

Henny had no idea what was going on so she just followed along behind the two girls who were protecting her. She hated it and was shocked when the rift opened up and the huge monster appeared. She had a strange feeling that something was wrong but she couldn't put her finger on it. She needed power so she could protect herself and others. She wasn't the type of girl to have other people protecting her. She needed to protect herself. She wasn't a fairytale princess, she wouldn't wait in a tower for someone to save her. That was for sure. "So now what?" She called out to her current protectors.

Yuri/Erytheia of Cosmos

Erytheia felt the energy coming from the rifts. He could feel it viscerally, almost naturally. Were such things becoming easier to feel? Or had he just encountered so many auras that were neither the bright shine of Order nor the dark abyss of Chaos that he now failed to shudder before such feelings?

Or perhaps it was that he could feel the energy just as the strange creatures could, as a pull toward something unknown.

Perhaps, the creatures could see what he could not see, but only feel. He shot down creatures with his bow, but only if they attacked civilians. He wanted to see where there were going, see what they saw.

Then a tear ripped through reality like a rift. His eyes would not have been placed to see its opening had he not been intently watching the half-flying, half-crawling creatures drawn to it like moths to a flame.

But it was the winds that told him that the energy he felt before was now emerging as a tangible thing, much like the winds of his homeworld would tell him so. If he could claim to understand any of this, it was because of the wind.

Or, perhaps, it was because of crystal.

If there were two elements Erytheia held in abundance, it was those two — wind and crystal.

So, he was less surprised than he would have been when he saw the beast at the center of the rifts and the winds had a large crystal in its chest, the source of the strange energy…

Sailor Neckar, Senshi of Protea

Neckar took the offered hand and got up, trying to shuffle out of the way of the fierce winds, though he wasn't sure it was even possible. He nodded when she explained what seemed to be going on. "This sort of things seems par for the course, though its the weirdest situation for me though. I dont think whatever it is doing is a good thing though. Does the ground feel weird to you?"

Neckar look around not enjoying the feeling he was currently feeling. "If it keeps that up ... we're going to be in trouble."

Corrupt Super Fafnir

”Whatever you want, as long as we get out of here.” He shot back at his would-be rescuer. He’d be grateful to him… them… later, when he wasn’t ready to pass out.

God his shoulder hurt. The cuts in his arm throbbed with pain, and every step was torture. He couldn’t remember ever being in this much pain before… As a child, he’d never broken anything, or really even sprained anything. As an adult, modeling had its own aches and pains, but never anything like this. Once out of here, he was going to teleport as straight to his doctor as he could manage, though he wasn’t sure what he was going to tell the man about his injuries… Maybe a giant dog had attacked him? His mother was going to go ballistic with concern over it.

A hiss escaped him as the other corrupt slipped under his arm, helping to support his weight, but leaving his dislocated one dangling in a sickening way. “Wait… do you have something I can… tie this to me, or something? ******** it hurts. Every time I ******** move… You can rip some of my sashes if you don’t have anything.”

None of them were particularly long, but the one in the front was decent, and maybe together they could manage something with them. The wind picking up around them buffeted the injuries corrupt and he gritted his teeth, trying to brace himself against it as it pushed them towards… the giant rip in space and… the giant monster at the center of it ******** Christ…” Fafnir breathed, catching sight of it.

Pharos, Squire of Chronos

Her ears were ringing, but at least the screeching had subsided. She tightened her grip on her staff looking around spotting a senshi she recognized, one she'd only just met recently. She thought for a moment trying to remember her name.

"Lacille," she called out to the other heading toward her and nearly tripping as another gust of wind, nearly knocked her over. She groaned but moved forward.

She figured they were all in for a battle and hoped they were able to figure this out. She noticed the crystal as she ran and wondered if this was a mutated bat of some sort. Was all this caused by that thing?
