Having helped at barricading the door, Ri knew exactly what she had to find. Something heavy, something substantial, something... Pink eyes alighted on a keg of mead.
She didn't like to drink anyway.

The scrawny girl rolled the large barrel to the edge of the castle, not being able to carry it by herself. She watched as the other knights threw various items down to its target (hay, barrels, weapons, even chickens), while some of the knights battled the grotesque monsters off the side of castle face. Suddenly, a vicious creature blocked her path, its massive claws swiping at her and her barrel. Ri brandished her sword quickly, blocking its attacks and shoving it back towards the edge. It lunged at her with jaws wide open, biting the edge of her sword in an attempt to take it from her. Suddenly, a nearby knight hit the monster with her mace, sending it down. She thanked the knight as she left, rolling the barrel toward the battle zone.

Koray heard the Knight dish out information. Nodding the youth started to look around, his nerves on edge about the mobs he knew could spring out of anywhere. With that in mind he had his staff at the ready...just in case. Rummaging through a wreck he let out a small gleeful noise as he spotted a barrel. Score! As he used his staff to pry a few timbers off he rolled the barrel out and turned to start his trek back to the drawbridge. Hoping against all odds that he could do this.

In all the panic, Uru did his best to keep his composure. The command was simple: Destroy the Bridge. By destroying the bridge, no one can get into the castle... friend or foe. It was the risk that they were taking, but the good outweighed the bad, in his mind. No one should be outside the castle walls tonight. If they were... then they had a way back inside. If they managed to survive the night, then they would find a way to get them back inside safely.
Uru found a bale of hay barrel. It was sturdy. It could do some damage. If not to the bridge then to the fortunate soul that happened to be standing below it.

As Koray made his way back up, keeping one hand one the rolling barrel as the other held his staff in his caution. He didn't see the creature till it was nearly upon him. A strangled swear and the youth was diving out of the way. Holding his staff using shoulder he let go of it to shake a fist at the creature...blasted thing. He just knew getting a barrel was too good to be true.
With a heavy sigh he got up to trudge back down to the piles. Maybe another barrel would surface again for him...and maybe next time he'd have more sense about his surroundings. Glancing to the shoulder he shrugged it off. It wasn't that deep...

While carrying the barrel, a shadowling jumped from the darkness, swinging its wild claws. The apprentice narrowly missed it, keeping a firm grip around the wooden object and made a mad dash toward the drop point. He could not fend himself off against a monster while carrying something this big.

He wasn't one for drinking. He understood that the others enjoyed it. He understood what it could do. He understood that it could be bad just as it is good. For that, he took the used casket as oppose to the other full ones that could have done so much more damage.

Grumbling Koray was back at it. Shifting through piles, cursing the darkness in his frustration. A few times he shot a creature a dark look. As if daring it to attempt something. Only to relax as it was a trick of the mind in his nerves. He really felt like he was loosing it here....
As he shifted through the rubble something rolled out and smashed his foot. Hopping on one foot and biting his lip to keep from swearing up a storm. He glared down at the offending object. Blinked then picked it up. He needed a drink anyway....

While she did manage to make it to the battle section of the castle, she had absolutely no way to throw it over. It was way too heavy to lift, and the other knights were too busy and too quick to ask, so she did the only thing she could do: roll it off the castle.
And it missed, hitting the ground below with a splash.

"Let's try this again..." he grumbled. As he made his way BACK up the path to the drawbridge...as he made his way up the youth was super wary. Any small little crawlies tried to swoop on him he'd whack em so hard. Their Momma's wouldn't know they were even born. Okay...maybe that was a little much...but heck. Those things were really irritating. He saw the drawbridge and mentally cheered...oh happy day!

Making it up to the drawbridge the youth stopped for a breather. Then looking down he decided on how to throw this thing...deciding to just toss it. He blinked as it went..a little off the...okay way...oh crap. He heard it splash in the water. Slowly lowering his face into his hand he walked away grumbling. "I know I know!! Sir...try again and don't miss next time!"
He groaned as he jogged back to the rubble.
