Herd/Family Culture:
Mother's side: Minuet's mother comes from the heavens, cast down and forsaken for an act deemed to an unforgivable sin; one which she's lived with every day since. While it cannot be proven Nimue believes she was cursed, tragedy and hardships around every corner of her life so far - and it seems to be passed down onto her family line. The family unit has evolved into quite a mutant & Misfit bunch, holding traits not seen elsewhere; and for that its brought them plenty of trouble for those mistaking them as monsters and sinners. While they do not have a set culture they hold strong that they have to fight to survive not only from the skinwalkers...but the purists who enrage at the sight of their mix matched sets of breeds and mutated traits.

Father's Side: Don't give two craps about what's on the outside of someone - skinwalkers aside, 'cause those butts are just bad news - but of what they do and prove themselves to be. Ae'il is actually pretty haughty and not above needling at someone if he knows breed traits are a sore spot (such as with his lifemate). He's a mixed breed, himself, but has a devil may care attitude about it. He's proud of himself and the lineage he comes from—and nobody can ever take that away from him. His mother forged her own path away from a biased herd of wind/angeni or nothing, and he greatly admires her for that and for her giving heart.

Religious Beliefs:
Mother's side: Nimue has always believed in gods and spirits, and although her children have a more realistic approach thanks to their limited mental illnesses; it is true that they believe there are forces at work - even if it boils down to nothing more than fate. Minuet often humors her mother who suffers the worse of their insanity, and will teach her children that although there are other forces at work - there is no greater force of change than the one you carve for yourself in life.

Father's Side: While aware of the fact there are greater forces at work, Ae'il isn't one to pay homage or even a lot of attention to them. After all, they're quite fickle and had their hands in the drought, fires, and flooding recently experienced across the lands. He doesn't hate, he just sees no huge need to appreciate, because his life is what he's made it.

Short Summary of their plotline: Nimue is a forsaken Angeni, ripped from the heavens when she aided in her beloved's taking of his own life out of her sheer love for him. Seen as an ultimate sin she was cursed and sent to the mortal world; stripped of her sanity and left to rot. Under her skull mask is the remains of a flesh eating disease; leaving her face exposed so she would forever be unrecognizable to her lost love. Nimue's mixture of unicorn and angeni blood can only keep the disease from spreading further, unable to heal what had already been stolen from her. Since arriving she'd met Ezriel, finding an instant connection with the scorned mutant; but drama was afoot when she met Reaper - unknown to her he was Ezriel's father. Reaper wanted Nimue for himself from their shared histories with the way of the heavens....offering her a means of revenge and redemption to raise an army. She agreed, and Reaper fought Ezriel for the rights for Nimue...and won. Together they had foals, yet the crazed mare snapped; fleeing from them all when they were just foals. She'd gone in search of her love...Ezriel, only to find he'd slept with another mare and also had offspring of his own. Through hardships, the two eventually found one another, resolved the conflicts between them and joined together till the end - igniting a love that had blessed them with three children all of their own.

What are their parents' personalities?
Mother: Put quite simply, Nimue has lost her mind. This mare moves through moodswings faster than the second hand of a clock. Usually she teeters in the happier spectrum of moods yet often she can become quite neurotically sinister and bloodthirsty; and that's usually the point to flee at. Although she's quite off her rocker; there are certain moments and things which can set off relapses into her true self....yet these are by far rare and few. The more she's aged the calmer she is getting, although her sinister outbursts are much worse considering they don't happen nearly as often.
Father: Ezriel is reserved stallion who tends to keep to himself but has found to be at ease around his family and sometimes finds it just as easy to socialize with the unfamiliar although it takes a lot of effort for him. His mind and soul is conflicted and severed- an internal battle within rages between the balance of light and dark; the darkness from his father makes him become malicious, cruel and savage with brutal words and deeds while the light fights to take control of him and vanquish the darkness with the kindness, compassion and warmth that his mother Korrine never ceases to display. There is at times a voice, a chilling voice that haunts him, that tries to persuade him to give into the darkness and let his desires consume him and sometime Ezriel does stumble and let such a thing control him but he can often rebuke and push aside the demons within and get by. His appearance is anything but ordinary as he takes after his father- cursed with spikes that protrude from his flesh and those lifeless orbs that he often is seen as a monster. Ezriel tries to redeem himself from being seen as grotesque, horrific and terrifying soquili whom others cower and whisper about. His looks are frightening and his respect for others who misjudge him or think they are better in comparison to him sparks a need to prove himself which, if not taken control of or monitored, can ultimately lead to bloodlust. He is confused, he is conflicted within and his temper is simply unpredictable- the darkness and the light can wash over him so quickly and everything can change or shift. The inner darkness is unceasing and the path of light or dark never is set in stone as he tends to walk a fine line between each. Yet even so the stallion has a good head on his shoulders and fights for what he believes in or puts his life on the line for loved ones and his family; even though he doesn't quite see eye to eye with his father there is a part of Ezriel that is just like him which is that Ezriel does what he needs to do and does what he needs to make certain that all is well.

What are their family dynamics? Nimue and Ezriel will be raising the children for sure, Ezriel often goes on patrols for lengthy periods of time but Nimue is often visited by one of her children or perhaps a grandchild. Her family understands she can't be left alone for too long and are very good with keeping her company. Especially in the foalhood she will have someone constantly with her as she can sometimes have lapses of sanity in a more vicious matter; and as long as she can be calmed down she'll be fine. It tears her heart to be so chaotic, but the mare truly cannot help it as much as she's gotten better with it throughout the years.
