Well, Zephyr was getting kind of bored, as selfish as it sounded. He was starting to long for his bed, television, and a bag of potato chips right about now, but it seemed to rude to leave as soon as he'd arrived. Surely there had to be something here for him to do to keep his interest going? Anything would do at the moment, really. He was mentally begging the universe to toss him something...
Then, suddenly, a round object hit him on the shoulder.
"Hey! Watch where you're throwing your..." He paused mid-yell to pick up the object. "... Snow globe? What kind of nutcase throws snow globes at people? Sheesh!"
"Come on, Emma! I said I was sorry!" Laurel whined, jogging to keep up with his roommate. Man, if only he had remembered them in the first place, he wouldn't be racing after them and begging them to turn around! It made him feel terrible that they were so mad at him, couldn't they see that?
He paused to catch his breath and straightened himself out, before his attention got caught by a familiar soft figure sitting a top a booth. Vespercat plushies holding candies! How could he pass that up? He glanced to Emma, who was standing a little bit away, and rushed over to pick one of the plushies for himself. It would only take him a minute, Emma wouldn't mind, right?
Though the gift of a familiar had softened them a little bit, Emma was still very upset with Laurel over being left behind a second time. Did Laurel know how it felt to be left alone by a friend, espescially when that friend promised to wait for you? It hurt, and they honestly hoped that giving him a cold shoulder would help him reflect on the issue instead of ignore it.
However, as usual, plushies seemed to be the only think on Laurel's mind.
"C-come on, Spearmint. Let's go get some candy at another booth." They muttered, their lip puckering. "Laurel's too busy being selfish to play with us. He can come looking for us when he feels like caring again."
After surveying many adorable plushies, Odessa continued through the crowd until she saw a line for some cotton candy. "Oh, Kara! Look!" She motioned and stepped in line, ushering for her friend to catch up before anyone else got in line. She wasn't quite sure how Kara had kept getting behind, but she would wait for her if she had to. The cotton candy always looked so yummy during the festivals!
Kiessi tugged on their mother, trying to warm their hands. She smiled for a moment and picked them up, letting them press their cold hands into her shirt for warmth. "Why don't we get something warm to drink?" She offered and led both of them toward the hot coco stand.
"Where did you go now?" Kara said to herself when she noticed the other junior had went missing again. She took a little while to find Odessa again after she had taken off. She shook her head slightly and eventually found her standing in line for some cotton candy. She stepped into the crowd behind her, smirking a little. "You have to have some sweets, huh?" She teased gently.
Anara's eyes went wide when she saw the large fluffy boas against the wall of a booth. She couldn't help it, she had to have one! She snuck as close as she could before relieving the wall of it's prized possession.
Rorie knew that his caretaker wished he would stop picking up so many sweets, but it was Gift Giving day after all! He couldn't help himself when he saw a booth giving out some free lollipops. He smiled greatfully at the attendant, "Thanks!" He was grinning wide as he began to take a lick of the peppermint candy, much to the disapproval of his caretaker.
Kirella tilted her head to one side when she spotted yet another plushie on her table. Had another child left it there? She glanced around but couldn't see anyone that might have accidentally left it. She frowned and picked it up, looking for any sort of indicators as to whom it might belong. She took a couple steps and asked around, but as far as she could tell no one owned it. Had they given it to her?

"Wow! Have you been knitting long? When did you get started? Did you get started on your own or did you get started with a friend or someone teaching you? Perhaps you could show me some of your handiwork some time."The brief change of expression at the mention of her family drew him inward, his shoulders drooping somewhat. Had he made her sad? To be fair, he suspected he'd feel much the same after a time of living and going to school here in Below, he'd be missing his own family Above before long. "I suppose it makes the visits you do get with them all the more special," He said softly. Shifting his gaze to the booth indicated, Fig smiled. "Why, that sounds like a delight! Let's go."
Approaching the candy cane vender, the fey took a moment to lean in with an inquiry, just barely above a whisper. "Um...Cam, do nixies like getting dunked?" He wasn't exactly familiar with their race and would hate to subject one to a dunk in water with the cool weather. Considering the weather, the prospect of getting wet made him shiver to his very core, and of course this was also under several layers of clothes to boot.

Camrine smiled "One of my parentals taught me how to knit, and I've been doing it, since I was old enough to understand how to use a small loom." She said warmly. Then she said "I would love to show you some of my work Fig, or maybe I can make you a scarf sometime." Cam went off with Fig to the dunk a Nixie booth. She laughed at his question "Nixies love water, so dropping them into water is just fun, for both parties." Cam made her attempt at hitting the target and missed "Oh well" she said cheerfully. "Don't worry you don't have to get close enough to get wet, just try to hit the target with the ball."
Ruddi yawns a little, but still smiled. Gummi and Snowi was not with her this time. They decided that sleeping on the giant plush Kidden was way more fun. She couldn't blame them for that. Ruddi giggled to herself as she walks past a few booths going towards the music section of the event. She has been hoping to talk to some of the Daydreams here, but she has been way more nervous than she normally was about talking to one. Ruddi knows that she shouldn't rush talking to one of them. Maybe a game or two on the way would ease some of the tension that just manifested.
Ruddi decides to play the balloon dart game this time around. She used to have an issue holding such small things, but now it is not a problem for her to throw the dart to get a small prize, a gold cat plushie. Yay! Another addition to her bed and drawings~! Even though Ruddi knows that Snowi will try and sleep on this one to let Gummi have the large plush to himself.
Eilwen's tailed wagged behind her, showing that she was quite happy to receive the compliment. Of course, she didn't know if it was 100% correct or not, but she'd tinkered enough with different things to have a good idea on how it might be made. She shrugged her little shoulders at first, but a little grin spread across her face when he asked if she'd made anything like this before.
"I haven't made a snowglobe specifically....But you could say I like to tinker with things in my spare time." She nodded her little head and spotted another little game booth up ahead. You couldn't have too many plushies, could you? She just had to spin a wheel and if she landed on the right spot...Score! She landed herself another plushie and a bonus Lollipop. Jeez, was this thing maybe a little too big?

"Yup! Just like my Mom and older brother." Piper knew being a Doctor wasn't for everyone and that at times it would really be hard. However, the idea of helping someone else really made her happy. Her Mom really only told her the good stories though. She'd have to figure out the bad ones on her own.
"Ooo~! You'll have to show me your art some day!" Piper wasn't really...very creative herself. She had a much more...focused mind. She was all about her sports and science classes. Though she enjoyed the occasionally coloring book as well.
The geist watched as the grimm he had handed the glowing necklace to examined it with wide teal eyes. Bo had stolen the trinket out from under the noses of several adults just a moment before and he had meant to keep it as a trophy, but the other Nightmare had looked so shell shocked that he had given it to zem instead on a whim, hoping to distract the creature from zir discomfort.
Noticing that someone was still lingering nearby, Ayuu raised zir head. A geist. He was grinning, wide and proud, and his delight coaxed a thin smile from Ayuu in return.
"Did you give me...?" Ze raised zir hand to eye level, the pendant's string tangled around zir furry wrist. The bauble itself lit the space between them, helping Ayuu to narrow zir focus to this geist boy and zemself.
The hybrid had just spotted a decent place to be alone in the crowd when he felt someone stumble into his back.
"Oh! I'm so sorry about that! I wasn't paying attention to—" The imp's expression brightened as she turned to face him. Ashworth. A girl he had known back in school.
"Sheffie! I had heard you'd returned but I couldn't believe it! Asphodel is lucky to have an instructor like you! My little Cammon just started at the academy! Perhaps you'll teach him?"
Sheffield doubted that any child of Ashworth's would ever be interested in anything he had to say. Still, he forced a smile and said, "Perhaps. Yes."
Candy, candy, candy! This was definitely the sort of event someone attended if they had a sweet tooth! Part of her wondered why there wasn't more...food-food to be had. But well, people probably filled up on their real dinner before coming to the festival. Even she was surprised she had enough room for the spearmint candy floss. Even if she didn't have room for it, she'd have probably eaten it anyway. She munched away at it as she continued to wander around the festival ground.
Little potted plants, oh my! How had she missed these adorable little guys? She'd definitely have to pick one up for Enoukn as well. They were just so cute, the little pots they were in were decorated adorably as well. How big would they get? What were they exactly? Only time would tell and that was always the most exciting thing about caring for a plant! She puttered around the booth for a long time before finally settling on an adorable little plant to take back to her dorm. She'd definitely be back to pick one out for Enoukn as well!
Boas! How...flashy! Not exactly her style, but when someone draped it around her she wasn't about to deny the gift! Plus, it was sort of soft anyway. She gave a little shrug of her shoulders and moved on with the festivities. She didn't get much further thought before she heard the flapping of wings and something literally trying to roost in her new boa. She was a bit startled at first but she received a little n** on her hand when she attempted to unroost the Cockatriel. Reluctantly, she let it remain there for now.
What a cute little potted plant! While Iris did enjoy plants, truly so, he was also quite fond of the little pot it was it. It was such a cute little decoration and it would be perfect for his dorm room! He was fairly certain that his siblings would mind if he brought it back with him. So he cheerfully tucked it under his arm and spoke to it as he continued to wander the festival.
As Winterbloom came across the table handing out free potted plants she couldn't help but wonder how Below grew anything at all! It had such poor sunlight to help stimulate the growth of the plants. They must have adapted, over a long period of time, to the fact that they had to grow without sunlight. She decided to pick on up so that she could learn to care of them in the bizarre new world.
Having miserably failed at a pellet shooting game, Kyleigh picked up another plant as a consolation prize. Drake leaned down to sniff at it, but Aruna chased him away.

Bibi giggled a bit when Cyril came back with another plush. She blinked and smiled broadly when he gave her the plush. "Aw, thank you!! Haha, it kinda does look like Ruby~ Look, Ruby, it's you!" she giggled and sat the plush lookalike on the Fennekit's back. Ruby gave a snort huff and turned to sniff at the doll on her back. She would have hugged Cyril for the plush, but she didn't want to spill his hot chocolate. With a glance back at the candy table, Bibi snagged a lollipop for herself for later. "How's your hot chocolate?" she asked.

Aellys hummed softly to himself (and Menthe) as he leaned closer to a game to look at it. It was a racing game, kind of. The object was to roll balls up an incline and get them into a certain hole and depending on the hole you got it into was how far the little jackalope ran. Taking a seat and glancing at his three competitors, Aelles grinned and started rolling balls like crazy when the buzzer rang. His jackalope ended up in second place, which earned him a stuffed jackalope and another pot for his collection.

Drayden smiled as he picked up a bag of mint candies. Winter just wasn't complete without a bag, especially as he was spending this holiday away from home. He popped one of the little green candies in his mouth and sighed happily. As he rolled the candy around his tongue, he decided to play a game. This one was a random kind of game. Crafty flowers were coming up through a board, and attached to them were prizes. Drayden's pick earned him a plush. "Whoohoo!"
"How old is your brother if he's already a Doctor?" Arya asked. Didn't Doctors have to be old? At least he thought they did but then he never paid much attention to that.
The freshling blushed a but and shifted when Pipper said she wanted him to show her his art at some point. "Ok, I'm not very good but I'm getting better!" He then found a book on the ground and picked it up.

Nikora pouted when Charmstar had to leave but she quickly gave her friend a hug. "See you soon! Remember we have snowman building later!" She said and waved as he left.
She then turned to Hailey and Malachi and smiled when the other freshling put the candy on her horn. "Thank you!" she cheered and carefully picked it off so it wouldn't fall. Her smile turned into a grin when they both decided to try and catch the wisp and Malachi asked her if she wanted to join in. "Yes! Let's catch it!" She said and ran after them, somehow managing to grab another plush along the way.
