Estys playfully smiled, passing off his remark as a kiddish attitude. She did want to say something to him when he shoved her to the side - he seemed to lack manners to an extent, though she was unsure if that was just something that could be attributed to his age. Or maybe he didn't have someone to look over him and teach him better? The thought made her want to pinch his cheeks and take him under her wing. The fey fluttered her large wings and watched him pick out a plush. "That's a cute one too!" she said, smiling brightly. Hugging the one she held, she quipped in, "So, what's your name, honey?"

sorry for short post 8( and I feel dumb bec I had this sitting in a notepad and forgot to actually post it
With both freshlings by her side, Candy lead them to some booths to look at times they might like, Phyre and Crystallize both being quickly glued to the snow globes. They seemed so infatuated with them, and they weren't too much either to be honest. So while they eyed them a bit more, Candy bought each of them their own special globe, including herself. However, she knew that soon she would have to tell her children the big news, that they were both going to have a new little brother to call their own.
Crystallize ( 12 )
Once at the booths, Crystallize quickly ran over to the snow globes, amazed by the little figures inside. They looked so cool, and was that snow inside? That was fantastic! Maybe mama would get him and Phyre one? She seemed really interest in them as well. He was unaware that Candy was getting them globes, simply just amazed by the glass before him and Phyre.
Phyre ( 7 )
Quickly following behind Crysallize, Phyre was soon by his side looking at the globes with him. Was this a snow globe? Oh wow! There was snow inside, making it seem like a still painting, but in a glass ball!
As they neared the little booth nestled in the fun house, Gaius craned his head a little to try and get a better peek at what was on display and up for grabs. The little orbs that were clear and decorated within were fascinating, making his eyes widen as they got closer and closer.
He watched as Eilwen plucked one up, very curious to see what hers contained. Peering inside when prompted, he gave a little hum of interest, nodding his head, "Wonder how they got that in there.." he murmured aloud. Was it real snow swirling around in there?

More than happy to have the new familiars join them, Silas nodded in the voiced plan. His tiny hands would pat and gently stroke the cute fluffy fox that pranced around him so proudly. It was so precious!
With Caper's expressed ideas, the little Litch listened intently, before giving a few more sets of nods in agreement. Yes, that made sense. Birds liked trees. They were tall, and high out of reach of danger. "trees.." he quietly voted on, eyes sliding over to the ones that were dotted about the territory.
Makayla was super glad that the winter solstice had come so quickly and she liked the fact that it was a time of giving and snow. Both her and her twin were fond of winter, hence their cozy outfits. She figured that the Winter Solstice festival was a good place to meet some friends and maybe find her lucky partner, but then again she didn't want to have high expectations because her and her sister were still fairly new and they hadn't met anyone else yet, but she was still hopeful. She glanced back at her sister behind her "Mack! hurry up! we are missing all the festivities" she said bouncing around.
Mackenzie let out a small sigh as she followed behidn her twin closely, she was way too excited then she was. She had to admit she was super stoked and happy that the winter solstice had come so quickly. She shook her head lightly at her twin, as she looked around to see who else was here, she would have to agree with her twin it was a good place to make some new friends, and god knows that the two of them still needed to make some friends. She stretched a bit and hummed to herself.
Kyleigh was beginning to feel a little crowded. With Aruna on one shoulder, Drake on the other, and Sini floating near her head she almost couldn't turn her face to look at anything. But she wouldn't give up her darlings for anything! They were so cute and precious to her, even though she'd only had them for a short time. Just then, Aruna flitted off her shoulder to land on a plushie. Chuckling softly, Kyleigh put her hands on her hips. "I guess you've claimed that one, have you?" she smiled and paid for the plushie, carrying it with Aruna on top. Just when she thought she wouldn't have to run after another familiar, Drake jumped off her shoulder and sped for a table selling jewelry. And once she was there, she just couldn't resist the cutest glowing purple bulb necklace.

Still feeling somewhat nostalgic for the academy they would soon be leaving, Taegan picked up a bunch of Enoch colored candy canes to nibble. As they nibbled, they found another game to play and won a third giant plushie. They were amassing quite the collection....

Bibiana beamed at him even though he beat her at the game. "That was so much fun! You did great!" she cheered for him happily. She leaned closer to peer at his snowglobe and smiled. "That's so cool! It can be a um...um...oh what's the word...memento!! A memento for after you graduate!" She blinked as the nightmare running the game got her attention and handed her a consolation prize of peppermint bark. "Ooh, this looks yummy~ Want to try some with me?" she asked even as she opened the bag and broke two pieces off of it, holding one out to Cyril. "What do you wanna do next?" Her question was a little mumbled as she spoke around the peppermint bark in her mouth.

Lestari scowled as someone thrust a horrendously festive pair of antlers on her head. No, thank you. She tossed them in her stocking; perhaps she could shove them on one of her plushies later. After a bit of wandering around, she tried her hand at a guessing game and won herself a box. Whoo, a box. Snorting, she opened it to find....an aetherjelly? Really? Why would anyone put an aetherjelly in a box? Wasn't that cruelty to animals or something? At least it was cute. "Don't worry, I won't shove you in a box. I just hope Adi doesn't try to eat you..."

Okay so maybe he was collecting plants on purpose now. They were kind of intriguing; he couldn't seem to help himself. Maybe he'd double major: Astronomy and Botany.... Kinda tempting.
Aellys's Prizes

As she made her way around the tables and booths again, she picked up a festive bracelet for herself and slid it on her wrist. It was quite adorable.

Drayden was waaay late to the party, but he was sure it was totally cool. Everybody looked like they were having fun which was awesome. It was always nice to see lots of people having a good time. Grabbing a stocking to hold his goodies in, Drayden wandered around slowly and wondered what he should do first. He came upon a snack table first and, despite the fact that he'd just eaten before he got there, the fey's stomach was rumbling. "Oh man, that peanut brittle looks tasty," he said to no one in particular as he bought himself a bag and munched happily.

Cassie tried to look preoccupied with what was going on at the celebration, but who was she kidding? Once she had seen the first book, she had to keep going in for more. Pocketing another title without second thought, the Fallen blew out a breath and fixed her hair before facing the crowd. She didn't know why she always felt so paranoid at these events. Everyone was taking freebies left and right. Letting her feathers settle the slightest, she tried to blend more into the crowd, following the wave of people towards the more popular booths and events.

A trip to the bathroom remedied her need to wash up from the last game she had paid. Her spirits had risen quite a bit since on her way to the bathroom, someone had offered her a second necklace to match the first. Now the green and red glow around her neck made her seem more festive. It was pretty nice. The fact that she could decorate her room with the two bulbs had crossed her mind as well.
Threading her way back to the games, Isabelle spotted a stall that was giving out bags of peppermints and spearmints along with its’ prizes. She would definitely be picking up some of those. The scent was soothing and matched the season. Pulling out her water bottle, the nixie took a drink as she headed over.
Eating more of the candyfloss on her way to a drink stand, Elliah hummed one of the better known solstice carols under her breath. Today was turning out pretty well. It would go even better if she could run into someone she knew, but most of her friends had called off on attending. Softly sighing, she paid for a blue mug filled with what she was pretty sure was mulled cider. It was warm and aromatic and refreshing after the strong flavor of spearmint. Absently, Elliah wondered if there was anything she could get her little salamander companion. She would have to raid the pet store later to get a cage and food and toys and everything for her new familiar. Maybe one of her roommates would have some stuff that she could use until she could get some for herself.

Seeing her interest in the hot cocoa, Kanda brightly grinned and turned to lead the way back to the stall she'd gotten it from. Her cup was still half full, so she didn't try to get more. Maybe she could get Vüsala some when he got back. That coffee stuff he sometimes drank was way too bitter, she wasn't sure why he even liked the stuff!
Waiting near Wyrdda, her cocoa kept her paws warm and she was careful when she sipped from it. Vüsala always scolded her when she burned her tongue from drinking hot things too quickly. The fennekit that was now following the older grimm around was really cute. It was too bad that none of the familiars running around were too interested in her. As soon as Kanda saw that the other girl was ready, she turned and lead the way over to a table, clambering into one of the free chairs. One of the adults along the way passed her a giant lollipop, which she was happy to accept.
Cyril gave her a tentative smile in return. He was pretty confident that she hadn't lost on purpose. At least, he didn't think she had. "Memento, yeah. It'll be nice to have," he eyed it fondly before tucking it into his stocking, just no noticing that there was already one in there. Odd, he hadn't had one of these before he played the game. He glanced at the game master before standing up.
"Um, well. We could get some hot chocolate, if you like that stuff?" he ventured, accepting a piece of the peppermint bark. "There are also more games that we could try?" Honestly, he would have been at a loss on his own. It was probably a good thing Bibiana had snagged him while she had. "This is pretty good!" he exclaimed after he figured he liked the flavor of the bark. The telltale pop of the launch cannon had him ducking and the jackalope hit the counter behind him rather than his face. Attached to it was one of the glowing necklaces, a blue one this time. "I wish I knew why they kept aiming at me," he muttered to himself.
The two continued down to the next booth over, featuring a variety of hats and accessories. Edel’s attention was piqued by a row of different colored antlers. Those would be fun to wear for the season! “Excuse me, what does it take to win one of those?”, Edel asked the booth runner, pointing to the antlers. “Oh, nothing! You can simply pick out the pair you want” ”Oh, cool!”, Edel exclaimed! She had pondered over the variety of antlers. She liked the black and white pair, but the red and green ones would look nice and festive for the solstice! ”I’ll take that pair please!”, she said, pointing to the red and green antlers. As she was handed the headband she immediately put it on her head, minding her horns of course. As it was secured, she lightly shook her head so as to hear the jingle bells which were attached to them. ”What color are you going to pick Rhiannon?”
Rhiannon looked at the row of antlers carefully, deciding on an appropriate set for herself. It became a no-brainer as she spied a bright pair of purple and pink antlers. "I’ll have that one please”, Rhiannon politely asked the booth runner. As the pair reached her hands, she gladly followed Edel’s lead, putting the antlers on and shaking her head to hear the jingling bells, laughing off any dizziness that she may have felt.
"Okay... so I'm missing... one of the books, I think. I think I heard her say there were eight, anyway," Miah muttered to no one in particular as she wandered around for a bit, actually searching for the librarian, who seemed rather surprised when the young imp came up behind her, tapping gently on her shoulder as she greeted her with a smile.
"Hey! So... can I maybe... get one more book?"
Miah hadn't seen someone look so delighted and ecstatic in quite some time. Before long she found herself with the final book in the librarian's possession. "Thank you!" Miah called after the woman, looking down at the texts in her grasp before giggling softly as the cockatriel on her head chirped softly.
"This is... cute," Alis muttered, a soft smile pulling at the corners of their lips as they shook the snowglobe they had stumbled across, abandoned on a seat. For a time, the baphomet simply sat there, glancing around to see if anyone would come to claim the decoration. However, after nearly five minutes, not a soul had so much as even looked their way with curiosity.
"Should I just... take it?" they asked the small cockatriel that sat atop their knee, looking up at them with curious--albeit admittedly somewhat creepy eyes. After a moment, the bird gave a surprisingly delicate tweet, bobbing its head in a fashion that had Alis chuckling softly, a grin curling on their lips. "Their fault for leaving it around, I guess,"
"Oh these little pots are so precious! What're they going to grow?" the demon asked, blinking up at the Dryad behind the booth, who simply smiled at the young Fashion student, chuckling softly as they glanced towards their Fey companion, who happily fluttered up beside them.
'It's a secret!' The fey said with a giggle. 'You'll have to take one to find out,' the Dryad added.
Aaminah blinked at the somewhat odd pair, before simply smiling. "You know what? I think I will!" she said before leaning down, looking over all of the pots before pointing out one. "I'll take one of these! It would look precious on my drawing desk,"
