There was one last defining swipe of the knife as the doppelganger stumbled forward, adding yet another fleshwound to Riyo's person. "I'll show you a cut!" she screeched and sliced across her blue shadow's throat. She watched, unsympathetically, as it fell to the ground and disappeared in a poof of black smoke.
A small sigh of relief escaped her, though it was cut short by the sudden appearance of stairs. Riyo ascended, grabbed the medal, and waited for a new elf to punch.
Not this time. Oh well. That was alright. She'd had her fair share today.

The sudden silence was what caught Needle's attention. So far, this event had been bustling with energy and noise and now? Silence. Complete silence. That struck her as odd for more than one reason, and as one would expect, it put her on alert.
The click of the spotlight turning on made her turn, and the only reason she recognized the doppleganger at all was the tattoos. They were her tattoos. She was fighting herself? How interesting.
Her double attacked, and she returned the favour only half a second later - and only a slight point weaker, due to surprise.

Gosh, her tattoos were pretty. It was certainly hard to fight yourself, when you had so many beautiful tattoos to look at.

Needle couldn't help but notice one of her tattoos had a shakey line to it. It was a small detail, and it was on a tattoo she never really got to see, but now that she knew it was there, it was certain to bother her.
As she stabbed the double's offending tattoo, she made a mental note to ask her sister to touch up the real one for her.

Well then, it seemed the easiest way to fight was to find personal flaws and attack them. What a strangely therapeutic thing! So Needle studied her double until she found another flawed tattoo - which came in the form of a slightly awkward looking piece of snake anatomy from when she was much younger - and stabbed it with a great vengeance.
