Shiruba Uingusu, 11th Division Lieutenant
シルバーウイング、第11部中尉

User ImageShiruba could barely speak as she passed him by, his eyes watching her in surprise as she spoke those heartfelt words and Shiruba couldn't understand the complexity...until he saw the tears and his mind kicked into overdrive.

He wanted to cry out for her to stop, to not do what she wanted to do, if she thought it was needed to be done, but his body remained frozen, captured in time as all he could do was watch, gazing upon her as every fiber in his being wanted to keep her from unleashing her power, but by the time his will power finally allowed him to move, the gusts kicked up and his voice could not be heard as he vainly called, "No! Don't do this! You don't have to go out like this! Eriko!!"

His cries were pointless. It was vain to try to call to her when her energy became this violent and uncontrollable and it was fierce to the point where he was being lifted off his feet and he had to ground himself with his sword, lancing it into the stone ground to keep himself level. He heard her to tell him to run, but he could not do so. His defensive heart wanted to protect her, but no matter how strong his will, he could not combat the wind...

It went up until the point when Tsuyatsuya acted on her own volition, ripping herself away from him and took on her full wolf form, her bright, seven tails shimmering as they wrapped around Shiruba's body and pulled him away, Tsuyatsuya's speed surprising and her will dauntless in protecting him...

"Tsuyatsuya!?" Shiruba cried out in further surprise, never being forced away by his own spirit before, "What are you doing!? We have to go back and save her!"

"At the sacrifice of yourself? Not a chance!" Tsuyatsuya barked, proceeded onward until they made it out of the blast zone and the attack and finally began, massive blasts of energy ripping away stone like bits of Styrofoam, leveling the earth into little more then a crater from where she attacked the Sephira, her body left in its center...

This was only visible when the massive tower of dirt and dust had passed, allowing Shiruba to see the carnage that had been wrought and Tsuyatsuya finally released him, allowing Shiruba to fall to his knees at the sight...then he felt it. It was minuscule, but it was there; Eriko's Reiryoku, just barely clinging on the breath her body brought in and out...

Without another word to the fox beside him, Shiruba launched himself into the crater and rushed to her side, delicately slipping his arms around her harshly beaten frame from the energy that erupted around them. Tsuyatsuya looked up at Shiruba as he held Eriko in his arms, looking into her expression with his face worried and drawn, hoping against hope that she would make it.

Wordlessly, Tsuyatsuya became a misty energy, losing her fox shape and coiled herself into the sheath behind his hips, slowly filling the sheath until the Zanpakuto was formed, the Shikai now sealed once more and Shiruba slowly walked onwards until he saw a faint glimmer of light in the dirt. With his free hand, keeping Eriko secure against his body with the other, he picked up the shard and realized that it was a fragment of the Sephira's mask...

Shiruba did not know how the fragment survived, nor why it was still in existence at this point, but he carefully placed it in the pocket of his inner robes, positioned away from Eriko's body, and fully held her now in both arms, holding her gently, yet strongly, as he slowly exited the crater, wondering what was going to happen next and where he should take her until he remembered the fading words on her lips and instantly moved towards the 10th Division barracks, remarkably one of the only places untouched by battle...

To aid himself in getting there, Shiruba relied on his old techniques that he had learned in his time as a Shinobi, keeping to the shadows of each building and quietly passing from object to object, cloaking himself in stealth as he quickly and silently moved above, using the most direct route to get to the 10th Division while the chaos endured far away from him...

Eventually he came upon the 10th Division dojo, a silent and eerily empty area that was normally filled with students and other Shinigami practicing their zanjutsu, but he disregarded the memories and slowly laid Eriko down on a blanket in the resting room just outside from the hallway and towards the central dining area.

Shiruba looked down on the sleeping woman and felt pain burn in his chest. He should have been stronger...he should have been faster. He should have been better. If he had been better equipped, better trained, this would not have had to happen and guilt gnawed at him like hundreds a of small teeth in his stomach. These teeth were continually curdling his emotions with agony as he softly brushed her cheek with the back of his hand, feeling the smoothness of her skin and instantly feeling like he had caused her imminent death...

Unable to look upon her form, Shiruba covered her with the blanket to keep her warm and left, standing outside the door to her room to keep guard, not willing to leave her side for a moment. He cared not now if the rest of Seireitei needed him. She needed him now more then anything and he needed her. The rough feeling in his robes reminded him of the mask piece and he slowly removed it, looking into its ominous, pale texture as his thoughts lingered into the darker parts of his mind and once more felt the power of infidelity, marked by his words,"I need...I need more...I need more power."

Where there are tears, I shall be...涙があるところでは、私がしなければならない
On silver wings I fly through the sky...銀の翼で私は空を飛ぶ...
Through burdened eyes I have watched...負担の目を通して私が見ている...
In a tortured body I endured pain...拷問本体では私は痛みをこらえ...
In the light I burn with the truth...光で私は真実を上げて燃える...
In the darkness my sin taints us all...闇の中で私の罪は、すべて私たちに汚染します...
The Divine Mouth of the Seven Tails has freed me...セブン尾の神の口は私を解放した...

Malchut Sephira - Being of Lowliness

Doing nothing more than watch as Hideki fell to the ground below them, Zenos completely released his control over the wire rope that he had used to bind them, resulting in the metallic rope to drop to the ground with him. "One down..." With this thought floating in the front of his mind, Zenos turned to look at Hibiki who was feeling the effects of Arian's Reiatsu, the likes of which Zenos could readily detect but not feel at the same time. The fleeting desire to call attention to the Sephira's rash behavior by using Reiatsu drops occupied his thoughts before the want scampered away as quickly as most unimportant thoughts did. Zenos kept an eye trained on Hibiki, and as he watched him combat the Reiatsu, then proceed to pull a mask over his face. This action did not pull a reaction from the Sephira, he was quite used to the feel of Vizard popping up by now; before Hibiki, three others had already done so, making it a rather mundane sight to behold. "Oh? Another one?" In a somewhat mocking tone, Zenos presented his question even though Hibiki was too far away, and demurely raised a hand as the Vizard projected his Reiatsu upon him like he thought it might actually do something. He was in the process of sending several stone cubes in Hibiki's direction, when all of a sudden he froze in place, but not because of Hibiki, but instead Kōdo.

Before his eyes he saw an image of the Captain thrusting a blade into his neck, skewering him like Yakitori, and flooding his mind with pain. Zenos' first reaction was to open his eyes in shock, standing rooted to the air while black chains began to surround his body. "... pain..?" Knowledge of his own body was telling him that this was some kind of illusion brought forth by Reiatsu, yet he couldn't seem to shake the agonizing pain that was making his mind reel. He had not experienced pain in a little under a century, and it was enough to break his mind apart, causing his Piel Titanium to drop and welcome the Kizashi fragments with open arms. With each hit, he could feel his Reiryoku armor thinning, being dwindled as the attack continued, and had he been in a better state of mind, he might have understood that this is what he had been trying earlier. As Koudo got further and further away from him, the effects of his Reiatsu began to disappear, which drew him out of the state of mind-numbing pain he had been in, but did not protect him the deck to the face he had received from Hibiki's armored fist, which shattered his relatively weak jaw upon impact and caused him to cast the Vizard a disgusted look as he attempted to break free from his bindings. His sense of pain began to dwindle, which thankfully assisted stabilization of his body as a hole suddenly opened up above his previously existing Hollow Hole, widening to a diameter of about a foot before it stopped. Still, he was victim to the chains around his body, and the uppercut resulted in the loss of his entire bottom jaw, which was all but vaporized as he was struck there. His heart was racing, his head was reeling, and the constant attacks were making it impossible for him to regenerate from their destructive force. He continued to take multiple blows to the face, leaving him battered and bruised with a severe fractures lining his skull, and then took the rest of Hibiki's attacks before his entire body vanished, seemingly having turned to nothing, and the chains that had once held him tight collapsed, turned to Reishi, and faded away.

—¤÷(`[¤* ɱυsɪcs *¤]´)÷¤—

All would fall quiet for a moment, and it did appear as though the immortal Zenos had been reduced to nothing; not so immortal after all. However, after moments passed, the area around where he had been standing was suddenly filled with what appeared to be silver strands of crackling lightning, actually being his Reiryoku. Seconds later, a grey-colored skeleton suddenly materialized out of thin air, which was quickly wrapped in matching gray muscle and tendons, which was then covered by metallic-grey skin, leaving Zenos newly "reborn" and in all of his nude glory. For the moment, the Sephira's eyes remained shut, but then his skin suddenly burst in thousands of pieces and fell apart to reveal a sealed Zenos, who stretched out like he had been in a smaller cocoon version of himself. Stumbling forward, Zenos brought a hand to his face and palmed it as his eyes fluttered open. "Ngh... It's been a while since I've had to do a full-body regeneration. Not pleasant..." Muttering to himself, he doubled over onto the ground and promptly emptied his stomach of what appeared to mercury and then spat the rest from his mouth onto the ground before he looked at his other hand, first the palm then the back of it. "You'll pay... for that." He said, retching once more, before he wobbled to his feet and stood up, raking back his hair as he looked at Hibiki with a manic smirk covering his face, showcasing his vampire fangs to the Vizard along with his eyes that were a deep blood red. His voice had taken on a more eerie sound to it, which was because his Vampiric tendencies had been awakened by Hibiki's actions. He was boiling inside, down to his last stores of magical and physical energy -- the full-body regeneration had taken a lot out of him--, but he was dead set on murdering Hibiki in cold blood. After a moment had passed since his regeneration had occurred, the Malchut Sephira lunged forward and vanished on the spot with a Sonído and appeared within dangerous proximity of the captain, moving to thrust his arm through Hibiki's chest and end him. Even without his Resurrección, he was still formidable, and besides that, he was not right in his own mind and instead acting on instinct.

...and thus the world is petrified.

As Hei spoke to her Sakuya found a smile creeping up in the corners of her mouth. It seemed that he was in a hurry to dispose of her for whatever reason, but in doing so he was only playing right into her trap. She would not only get revenge for Zenos’ defeat, but also prove herself worthy of his adoration in one fell swoop. Hakasei Hei, this day you will be defeated by my hand, Sakuya thought as Hei disappeared into a high speed movement technique that was apparently unique to his Bankai. It was of no matter to her though. All she had to do was block whatever attacks he threw, then finish him before he had the chance to get away. Hei’s form then materialized in front of her preparing to emit a beam attack of some sort, but suddenly he jumped away and just as suddenly a new man appeared in front of her.

Having been caught off guard by the interloper due to the mistake of allowing herself to become tunnel-visioned with thoughts of killing Hei, Sakuya found herself dreadfully unprepared to fully defend his attack. Even with the benefits provided by her Heirro of Faith Ω he was obviously stronger than her albeit not faster, but that didn’t matter much being as of the two of them she was the one with the lowered defenses. Due to the stance she had taken before in order to counter Hei, Sakuya’s blade was close enough to the proper location to give her the time to react and block the incoming attack, but the strength difference meant that she couldn’t stop it before his blade had sank halfway through her shoulder only finally reaching a full stop due to the added resistance of bone.

Sakuya let out an aggravated sigh at the newcomer. Not because he had injured her, no her high speed regeneration would take care of that, but because thanks to his interference, Hei had escaped her. Indeed she could already feel Hei moving away from them at high speed.
“Causing my prey to escape will cost you your life, shithead!” she said in a low growl as she raised her left hand and brought it down towards his face in an arc that would start above his right eyebrow and come down across his left eye before finally exiting at his left cheek. As her blade moved, she released the Rose Cero she had stored in it earlier as a crescent that was meant to bifurcate his head along the cut. To further her point, she released the Rose Cero stored in her right sword, reshaped it into a crescent as well then sent it at his face at a horizontal angle so that it would hit both his eyes. For the final cherry on top of her ******** you cake, Sakuya had bitten her tongue right after she finished speaking and opened her mouth to begin forming a Gran Rey Cero from the tip of her tongue which she released into Koudo’s face after the second Rose Cero would pass his head.

Time Is Running Out

Jacques was enjoying this fight a lot, as it had been a while since he'd been on equal grounds with strength, endurance, and defense from an opponent. This Bankai form of Harasawa's, it was quite unique to him. Jacques saw that the Vizard's cloak had been shredded in the Cero, but his next attack was wrapped up in the chain. The Vizard could hold him back, but definitely was struggling to do so. The Cero charged from Tetsu's mouth, Jacques wondered, "Was he knowledgeable of his ability to do that, or did he learn that from me?" He did not care so much if the Vizard had actually learned it from him, as a Cero in this form did little-to-nothing against him.

Jacques felt the chain drift away, and knew that the Vizard had retreated back from him. As the Vizard came down at him with the blade, Jacques moved his highest Hierro to his arm to block it, but he indeed was pushed back by the force. The succession of the attacks laid down by the Vizard impressed Jacques. The blade did not necessarily cut Jacques, but it was definitely successful in doing blunt damage. His head kicked back with the up-wards strike, and the next strike to his back shot a pain up and around him, and caused him to stumble forward.

Jacques stares back at the Vizard, staring back at him. He turns and the mask lifts. Jacques held up a hand in a signal that someone would use to say "Gimme a minute." He chuckled a bit, "You're very strong, Vizard. Arm and arms, and your very esprit, your spirit, in this fight. Although... I don't see this fight going anyways, and we are too evenly matched against one another. We'd be more likely to be killed by a strong opponent of the opposite faction after we've gotten one another exhausted and just fall where we stand. Option A: If you want, I will leave, and I will never see you again, but I will write about you in my book. Option B: I stay, we fight, one of us loses or we have a draw and are killed later by another opponent. Option C: I stay here, we don't fight, and I simply act as a prisoner.." The last option was sure to shock the Vizard, but he had his reasons for wanting to stay. There was someone he wanted to meet, and knew would probably like to meet him. "I have reasons for saying this, Vizard. You are my opponent, not your Captain-Commander, the choice is yours in what we do, Captain Harasawa."

Kenpachi Kōdo

11th Division Captain

Kōdo's entire arm tingled when his blade sunk into her flesh, the feel alone had been imprinted in his entire body since as long as he could remember, and being able to cut flesh again after so long was giving him a sort of high. He paid no heed to Hei when he ran off; he barely knew the man, and was not in the business to make pals with anyone. Kōdo perked his ears to the tune of her voice, an angry growl that stated he was soon to die; the new captain responded with a grin. This grin widened as his extremely dense Hierro brought her sword swing to a complete halt, and when the cutting edge had come to that halt, it slid against his skin and into his waiting hand he lifted to catch it before she could pull it away. Of course, there was the possibility he missed it if she turned up faster than him, but that seemed unlikely. "Then try me!" He shouted with a voice full of glee, almost like he was a child playing with a new toy, except his glee was more than happiness, it was dark, foreboding, and and to some people, absolutely terrifying.

Even though the impending destruction of two Cero was upon him, Kōdo appeared disinterested by this show of power and instead focused his concentration into throwing a poorly-aimed, but hard-hitting and quite speedy, kick to her stomach in an attempt to knock her towards the ground. Of course, the Cero were not forgotten, merely ignored as they exploded around him and reduced his Haori and Shihakushō top to tatters. Now his torso was bare which showed off the machine embedded in the middle of his chest and looking quite out of place. He had seen many a Cero in his day, and they didn't feel potent enough to do anything to him, so he had no need to bother with them. Kōdo stepped off the air seconds later, rocketing his body towards her by leg strength alone, and once he was upon her again, thrust his nodachi towards her left flank, which he would pull it to the left to cut her open like a piece of meat. "Didn't hurt, girlie."

Get it out of my face

Lovers working together, how quaint. It is up to my own fancy to assume what they can possibly do together. ********, this was unexpected... Ori had these short bit of thoughts run through his mind upon his movements slowing and Hei appearing in front of him. He was not daft, and recalled the man before him from their siege of the Seireitei. What baffled him was that he would take such damage for another person. Ori saw no benefit to oneself upon doing so, and thus stayed an illogical move in his mind. Not truly wanting to stay at this point for much longer, Ori went to gain distance from the duo, however Hei's technique was still keeping him a tad sluggish. Additionally, to the sluggish movement, by the time Ori moved to shoot to the right, Hei released a concentrated light blast that scattered Ori's body into the air around them, causing a spike in static electricity. Twenty feet from the pair's position, to their front, Ori would reform from converging arcs of lightning. As they made a lattice of his body before filling with and ambient light and becoming 'whole' once again.

Comically lifting his left hand to his right shoulder and rotating his right arm in its socket, Ori starred forwards, pondering on what to do. He had never really, truly, used this technique before, and knew not it's limitations. On top of this fact, he had rarely used his hybrid powers at all. Always running small hypothesis in his head at randomly occurring times, Ori thought of converging two forms at one time and using them in conjunction with his hybrid spacial powers. Well then, I can only believe there will be no harm done in trying this out. It should prove entertaining for both of us. [Cue music] Throwing his hands out to the sides, Ori let his Reiatsu pour over the area. It held the effect of the feeling of being crushed beneath an immense force, one incredibly large force. It would be all encompassing, and not simply from above. From his finger tips up towards his shoulders, a metallic and amorphous alloy would slick its way up and coat and replace the lightning that once held his arm's shape. Closing his open hands and cracking his knuckles, Ori's eyes moved to slits before metal poured over his facial features, creating a mask over his actual face, leaving his head to be lightning still. His feet and knees also got a slick covering.

Loosing a lot of his speed [from 19 to 14] Ori was now a slight bit slower, however he gained a boost in his physical offense and defensive capability [10] and to his Hierro [14]. Along with these he kept the attacks of both forms. As this happened quickly, his lightning body sent arcs down his arms, feet, knees, and face, which was now staring at the space just behind Hei and between he and Yuki. Materializing Kuuhaku by throwing his right hand out, he released the blade mentally and fused the Tsuka to hand for the time being. His arms began to become ethereal, as did his body, however his hands held the trait the most as he was about to execute his attack. Pulling his left hand back, Ori shoved his hand forward in a punch, creating a crack in the air just between Yuki and Hei, letting out an audible snapping sound. There would be two more snapping sounds as the crack grew before the fabric of space would break and a small wormhole/black hole that would have an intake of 200 mph would form. Sending out his lightning into Kuuhaku, Ori dashed towards Hei, his blade sliding through the air to his lower right. Once he reached Hei, who he would move with if need be, Ori would jump up, swing the blade around to his upper right and slam down towards Hei from above. If the blade connected, a stream of lightning like the one he had experienced would from it, if blocked it would to the same as a fail safe and as a general discharge from the connecting blades.

Ori's metallic face held no features, only a stark blankness with no expression of anger, death, happiness. It was nothingness engraved upon a golem of lightning and metal.

Hei responded quickly with a nod of his head to answer her question, and upon receiving his answer, her own eyes were quick to follow suit. By this time, movement was coming from Ori's direction and it appeared to the two that he had altered his body's structure again, like he was a combination of Zenos and Yuki utilizing their respective elemental forms. "What do you think?" Yuki asked, keeping her eyes trained on Ori for the slightest movement, as well as the air around her in order to watch for positive streamers. "Electrical current and metal, it's like he wants me to hit him. Child's play." Hei, who was less versed in tracking the positive streamers, did not worry about watching them since Yuki was taking care of that, and instead kept his attention on other areas around them. With the both of them paying attention to their surroundings, they were not to miss the sound that originated between them from the crack in space that began to form between them. It was the same thing that Nanashi had sacrificed himself to put a stop to, which both of them had become very familiar with in the time they had been gone. Exchanging identical looks of understanding, and after Hei took an electric shock to his core from Ori, the twins were pulled towards the opening in space as it widened until they were completely sucked inside, appearing to be lost to the dimension beyond for good.

A half second later, this Hei and Yuki turned out to be byproducts of simultaneous Utsusemi, and while the realistic images had provided Ori a show to watch, Yuki and Hei had moved to his backside, several dozen feet away. Upon the two's reappearances, Yuki could be visibly seen plunging a hypodermic needle into her shoulder, injecting the diluted form of the Superhuman Drug into her bloodstream, an act which caused her senses to radically improve in an instant. She could now easily see everything that moved like it were on a slow-motion television, the same held true for Ori's lightning; slow-moving electrical currents were quite the sight to take in. Yuki discarded the empty syringe and spared Hei a glance, who had begun to demurely move his hand to his face as he stared Ori down. "When I vest my flashing sword, and my hand takes hold in judgment, I will take vengeance upon mine enemies, and I will repay those who haze me." He began this prayer while he drew his hand over his face, slowly gathering Reishi around it to form his mask which caused his sclera to turn black as his irises to shift to black. By the time he reached his final word, he made a quick swiping motion over his face, completely forming his mask, an act that brought his staggering, suffocating Reiatsu into the Seireitei, which had been missing for a while now. This Reiatsu was short-lived, however, as it quickly combined with his other Reiatsu until it's color shifted to a light gray as it bore down on the entirety of the Seireitei like an ocean over the sky. For the first time in his life, he felt pity for those who had to experience it for the full seven seconds it took for him to tame the Reiatsu and contain it within him, a disappearance that heralded the guttural words pouring from Hei's lips. "My King, raise me to Thy right hand and count me among Thy saints."

Almost simultaneously, Yuki had begun the incantation for a Raikōhō, which erupted in her hand as she finished, but was pulled back into her Shunkō almost instantly afterward. The resulting combination of her Bankai and the Electric Reiryoku was a body composed entirely out of lightning and electrical currents; she was intangible in this state, and frustratingly quick to boot. As her body arced with lightning, Hei's appearance began to take a notable change just the same. Within this state, his Vizard state, he could combined both of his Bankai for a short period of time without repercussions, and his decision to do so was made evident by the fact that Irozayaka's Bankai's over coat changed color from white and a variety of browns to a monochrome of the black and white variety while the Shikai gauntlets affixed themselves to the bracers, fusing their materials together to create what appeared to be a super glove. As the sleeves of his overcoat began to fall away, a pair of black, loose-fit pants took the place of his Shihakusho bottoms and then a belt formed around his waist on the outside of the coat, just before the gauntlet-bracer fusions gained protrusions which wrapped around his arms like armor until they encompassed his shoulders and affixed themselves to newly-formed straps that crossed themselves over his torso and attached to his belt. Seconds later, a cloud of what appeared to be mist dispersed from his body, then encircled him and layered itself all over his body, giving birth to his Shikirikeigen no Museigen Ōma form. "Count yourself lucky, boy. You get to see firsthand the full potential of Shinigami twins."

Seeing as she had intimate knowledge of how Hei's mind worked, she knew exactly what he meant when he said this, and so she turned to him and closed the two step gap between them, then stepped into him, allowing her intangible form to fit around him like armor, an odd feeling even if he was her lover, but luckily it soon became that she was not "wrapped around him" but instead had fused with him to an extent. She knew well the power his Vizard mask had, the most useful ability of it was to allow his two Reiryoku sources to exist at the same time by separating them from time and space in the loosest sense possible. Although it had not been fully explained to her, she knew that with her Taemanai Raikō Katachi in this proximity to him, that his Vizard Mask would treat it as another Reiryoku source of his --due to their nearly identical Reiryoku traces-- and proceed to allow her form to exist over his without being negated by his Seigenshi. It was quite a tricky form to keep up with, exhausting to their collective stamina and cutting Hei's mask use into a third of it's original duration, but the output was well worth it. Now, from the outside, Hei appeared to look normal except that he was covered by lightning and the lightning-version of Yuki's face occasionally flashed over his own before flickering away once more. Hei opened his mouth to speak, and as he did so, Yuki's voice layered itself over his own guttural voice and she spoke with him. "And Shepards we shall be; for thee my king, for thee."

Then Hei's form was gone, beside Ori in an instant, appearing immune to the sucking winds of the rip in the sky as he whipped his right foot towards Ori's left hip, moving at lightning speeds during the arc up until the foot would make contact, at which point the lightning would part and allow Hei to negate the body of Ori's where he struck. This took a lot of skill to do, and it was something they were only capable of doing because their Reiryoku was so alike to begin with, and it had little to do with training. When Hei followed up on his kick, the lightning wrapped itself back around him and he began to move around. "Power hath descended forth from Thy hand; Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands." This time he appeared as single strand of lightning in front of Ori, before he expanded his body to normal size to move his foot between Ori's legs, slip it to the side to catch the back of his foot, and then drive his elbow into his stomach with the same effects as his kick from before. "So we shall flow a river forth to Thee; and teeming with souls shall it ever be." After collapsing into a single strand of lightning once more, Hei moved himself away from Ori, standing several feet away as the clouds overhead began to darken as though an ominous storm was approaching. He lifted his hands, which crackled with an abundance of electrical energy, excess strands moving away from his body as he paused. "In Nomeni Patri, Et Fili..." In an instant, he was behind Ori, his palms flat towards his back as he pushed them against his body to release Yuki's Korin Raiden into Ori's body, as well as pour his Seigenshi into it as well given the overall structure of his body, which was not completely solid. While both lightning and Seigenshi were so close, the mask was able to keep the two apart still, which would lead to Ori's elemental form being negated so the mass of lightning he had conjured up could obliterate his body as well. "Regis Sancti." They finished; Hei's Seigenshi had poured off his body now, which would have left him defenseless if not for the lightning still arcing across his body. He could already feel tingles all over his body; his mask was weakening from all of that and it could no longer fully support the weight of three Bankai, just as he had anticipated. Still, the both of them hung in there; they could not simply afford to drop this form immediately, not when it gave them such power to combat Ori.

[This thing will wear off beginning of next post, and with it, his mask. So to everyone that was worried about OP, don't be. It's really exhausting on both of them. And no, it's not on their profiles, this was to make this more epical and unexpected. So... Shush and be amazed at how awesome and weird it is for Hei to be wearing Yuki like a onesie. rofl ]

It was true the Exaequare had been reading Yuki's thoughts, in fact he was reading the mind of everyone in the Seireitei at the moment, a mere fraction of the number of minds he could read at once. At maximum power, he could read the mind of every creature --soul or living-- at once, but he preferred to not go temporarily insane for a few days which was inevitable from such an overload of information. Upon hearing the young woman's request, which he naturally saw coming ages ago, he simply turned his head away as though he was ignoring her. His gaze eventually settled in the direction of Sakuya and Hei, whom he looked at from afar. He did not need to help the man, there was already assistance approaching and helping at this exact moment was not part of his duty to begin with. There would, however, be two more things he had to do within the several minutes. Aurelius waited patiently as the minutes ticked by, idly reading the minds of others and taking in information to pass the time.

Finally, as he had foreseen, Kōdo arrived and took on Hei's opponent in his stead, although that was not entirely accurate, as "stole" was a more accurate term to describe what Kōdo did to Hei's opponent. Aurelius bent reality around his eyes, and watched Hei move towards Ori and Yuki, and then watched on in mild interest as he blew the Sephira away, then spoke to his sister and then combined with her to launch another attack on him. "That's my cue..." He said to himself as he straightened up and began to walk towards the crack in space, walking directly out into empty air with no Reishi beneath his feet. It paid to exist outside of space when it was convenient, he could simply walk wherever he wanted without being subject to gravity. He approached the rip in space and extended his hand as he phased back into reality, though the very air seemed to warp from his presence, such that the tear in the sky was beginning to ripple. "This cannot go unchecked, it will cause problems later."

Aurelius was standing directly in front of the rip, on the opposite side that Ori, Yuki, and Hei had been, meaning he was in speaking distance with Hei and Yuki. The terrible suction coming from the hole, though it was trained directly on him, was doing absolutely nothing; it couldn't even make his hair move towards it. Aurelius reached out and touched the middle of the hole and began to repair space at this point, the edges of the tear began to close by regenerating like a wound. A short amount of time passed before this hole was sealed away, no longer able to disturb the balance of matter in the universe. Of course, he was well aware of Ori's ability to create this same effect again, so he would have to inhibit that ability. The Exaequare traced the Sephira's mind and once he located it, scanned his memories until he unearthed the section pertaining to Ori's ability to do what he had just done, and then placed a psychic inhibitor on this section which would prevent him from being able to use it. Naturally he could have put him out of commission and ended the war by himself, but that was not what he was meant to do today. As he turned away from the scene, he lazily raised his hand to bid Hei and Yuki goodbye as he wouldn't be seeing them again for a while. Then he made his body ethereal, faded it from sight, then expanded his size to larger than the planet until he was pushing past the boundaries of the Soul Society, and then slipped into the Real World by passing through the dimensions.

It was not long after Hei and Yuki had combined that the Senkaimon went active after being dormant since Kōdo had gone through. The iconic Japanese sliding doors appeared and then opened up to allow Tsukiko passage into the Seireitei, and as she stepped in, her systems went crazy trying to pinpoint everyone at once. After her CPU had successfully mapped the altered Seireitei and located all of her friends, family, colleagues, and the Sephira themselves, Tsukiko entered a swift Shunpo and brought herself next to Elisia, who was hovering over Hideki after healing him, and crying while pleading with him not to die. A solemn expression spread across her face, feeling pity for her partner, and she knelt down next to her and took a firm grip on the shoulder closest to her, giving her a gentle squeeze. "He'll be fine, honey. You're a great doctor." Allowing herself to smile, Tsukiko moved her hand to the girl's hair and ran her fingers through it before putting her finger to her chin to turn her face towards her. "Deep breaths; I'll be right back."

Tsukiko scratched the back of Elisia's head affectionately and then stood up while looking away, specifically in the direction of Lee and Neida. By her readings and data, Neida was the 4th strongest, falling behind Ori, Zenos, and Sakuya, so she would prove to be a bit of trouble for a single Shinigami. Of course, she could say the same about Sakuya, but the Reiatsu coming from the person engaging her was terrifying, and she felt like she'd sooner get in his way than be able to help him. The same applied to Zenos who had no Reiatsu that she could feel, but she had also been able to witness him blindly attacking Hideki without any abilities, telling her that he was exhausted by this point. Then there was the fact that Yuki and Hei had Ori covered, which lead her to going to assist Lee. She was somewhat hesitant to actually do this, seeing as she had flown into an eloquent "b***h rage" a year and a half ago, and then left and never spoke to him again. It was certainly going to be awkward, that much was certain, but there was no time for such thoughts as utilized Shunpo to move herself to Lee and Neida as Lee prepared to attack her.

"Shoku, Tsukiyomi." She wasted no time in drawing and uttering her Zanpakutō's release command through clenched teeth, biting back her lingering annoyance towards Lee, whom she had yet to forgive. As soon as she spoke the word did she move her left hand to the hilt and literally pull a second sword sideways out of the first, which then quickly changed into lunar daggers that made up her Shikai along with the first. "Kōgetsu." Tsukiko slid to the side and extended her arms to face her palms towards Neida like she was preparing to catch a passed basketball, and when her daggers turned into nothing, a small, exact replica of the Moon took form a few feet away from Neida, hovering in the air while it began to exert an amplified gravitational pull, drawing surrounding matter towards it. Although it was amplified, it was not terribly powerful, but still a few times greater than Earth's gravity, which was enough to ensure that Neida would have trouble simply dashing away, and it would also add significant speed to the spears from Lee's Kidō, making them even more formidable. Without fear of being stricken by the impending blast, Tsukiko stayed put, doing her best to avoid Lee's gaze.

Neida did not see his on coming blade as she was tunneled vision into her onslaught. Her Heirro would prevent his blade from driving to far into her stomach; as she only got away with receiving a flesh wound as she called them. With her organs undamaged, she continued; her Bala barrage was blocked by a Danku she did not foresee. With a smile growing on her face after the Gran Rey Cero struck, she waited for him to bring his Bankai out. But she would react at the same time; without changing any sort of position of her body, she simply utter the words, "Resurrección: Segunda Etapa." With a swirl of Reiatsu around her, her body dawned an armor like material all around her, instantly covering every inch of her being. Its white-blueish hue was mesmerizing to look at. Under her armor, the wounds she'd received were being tended by the now unlocked regenerative abilities, which she did not posses during her Resurrección; they were used at a minimal so she could reserve energy. Before she could intial an attack in her new form, a more powerful Reiatsu than her own was felt. Neida's clawed hands gaped open as she struggled to not bow to this reiatsu. After it was gone, with haste, she recovered herself and prepared for Lee's coming.

Seeing the Hidō for what it is, she would move forward some, almost like she was moving to it. But this was only as she planned what he would do, with her presence masked by the Sekienton; she used timing to predict his movements and used Gemelos Sonído to escape his attack just in the nick of time. With it's great speed and devastating power, Senjū Kōten Taihō missed its target by several feet unfortunately for him. Neida was about eighty feet to the left from where she was. Using a series of four Gemelos Sonído right after the Hado was launched, she closed the gap between them. To the left and right of Lee, the images would appear, until the real her appeared to his right side, with an image on the opposite side. "Cero Oscuras!" Her filtered voice carried a cybernatic sound to it. She had her right hand balled and directed to Lee, the black concentrated Reiryoku would lurch out and pour out toward him.

Instantly feeling a the disruption of Reiatsu with her Siempre Pesquisa, she predicted it to be the thing she had her previous bout with, whom left her embarrass in defeat. The Gynoid's Shikai did not change the feel of Reiatsu disruption, but her eyes were able to see it. Feeling drawn toward it, Neida shook her head in annoyance. "Can't fight your own battles, Kidōchō, that you need a robot knockoff of a Shinigami to assist you? Oh how the mighty Seireitei has fallen." She implied sarcasm in the last part of her statement. Figuring the Tsukiko had returned to finished what she didn't do last time, Neida had to figure out how she was going to deal with two Captain level class Shinigami. Slowly being drawn toward the downscaled moon, Neida turned to face it while keeping her grip with Air Walking. "Cero Rápido." She uttered with her arm pointed to the moon. Firing thirty-five Cero's at the moon, thirty-three at Lee, and thirty-two at Tsukiko; each blast was controlled by Neida. The ones that were directed to the moon were all traveling in an one-way direction, each one was swirling -as if they were dancing- about another one; at the last second, they would funnel out and attack the moon from all sides - hopefully destroying it. The ones that were aimed for Lee would travel in a zig-zag pattern that was fanned out, and simultaneously attack close him on him at all at once. Tsukiko's barrage would just instantly fan out, and attempt to strike her at once in the back. While still sliding, and only a few seconds after she launched the Cero Rápido; Neida move her contralateral hand. Charging Reiryoku into it as well was a struggling task for her, but she managed it. With a ball of Reiryoku charged, she said, "Bala Verdadera," thus making a normal looking Bala; three times it was made and aimed the moon, Lee, and Tsukiko. The attack would travel with a great speed of what a normal Bala would, but about as soon as they caught of with the Cero blast, they would erupt into three-hundred more Bala; each one almost seem like it was strategically placed so that it would zero room too move through. She was still sliding toward the moon at a unfavorable pace, she created a Super Rápida Garganta at her chest; it wasn't that she was in control, she was just waiting to see what came next from her opposition.

User ImageWithin the expansive confines of her Inner World, the storm was passing slowly. The trees had lessened in numbers and the flood had ceased to increase in spite of the drizzling rain that fell from the skies. Eriko was still being cradled by the distinct curve of the central pond. Her breathing had regualrized itself, a normal sleeping pattern at last. From next to her, Cho passed a hand over the young woman's face to move a few stray strands out of the way. Every part of her being was aching with pain but now that she had completed her task, the spirit felt that it was best to be here in the mind of her master, to watch over here. She was grateful to the boy and knew that he did not understand that Eriko would survive this; she had survived this. It would take some time though before she could behave as she had before the present war had even begun. Cho squeezed the hand that she had been playing with for the past few minutes while Shiruba was relocating them to Akiyama's Division Grounds. "I'm sorry that I had to do it without you," she whispered, rubbing the girl's knuckles, "I know that you will come out of this as well as that your friends, they will achieve victory. We helped them with the first foot in. Now, the rest is for them." She nuzzled the fingers with her nose and closed her eyes. "I'm so sorry." To the spirit, it seemed that this could not be said enough to compensate for the forcibly induced sleeping as well as executing 'Watashi no Gifuto' during it. She continued caressing Akiyama, moving from the girl's hands to her shoulders, trying to hold on mentally to any semblance of sanity. At this point, it was all about waiting till the storm passed away. Eventually, Cho eased her body to lie down on the earthy ground, placing her head on Eriko's tummy and curling up on her side.

Her eyes had closed, a sign of drifting into a slumber and giving in to her bodily aches. However, with two almost simultaneous showers of massive reiatsus upon the Sereitei, Cho jolted upwards into a sitting position as Eriko lunged foward from the waist. When the heaviness passed, the two girls were able to look at each other for the first time in what seemed to be a lifetime, blinking in dazed confusion. It took a while before Akiyama grabbed at Cho, pulling her into a solid embrace, and began tearing up over her shoulder. "What happened?" she asked, not ready to let go as yet.

Cho passed her hand over the girl's back in a slow, deliberate circles to ease the shock that her body must be feeling. It was so good to hear her voice again even if it was hardly audible at the moment. "I had to put you to sleep, Akiyama. There was too much riding on the outcome of your battle and I didn't think you could handle it. I knew that you could not." The sprite shook her white locks out of her eyes and stared into those of her master, holding the girl by her shoulders. "You are mine."

Eriko averted her gaze and looked upon the overflowing streams of healing water as well as the darkened clouds hovering. Apparently, some havoc had been wrecked and by the way in which Cho was speaking, she had been the main cause of it. Her mind was still foggy on the details but she could not deny that there were some things that needed to be fixed. And why was she so tired if she had been sleeping all this time? At the mental question, a chuckle escaped the lips of her Zanpakuto spirit, causing her to look up at her.

"I used the most powerful abilities of our Bankai form. Gratefully, it was enough to defeat your opponent." She paused here. She did not mind killing someone if she had to but some part of her always pays respect to their deaths. Someone will miss them. She smiled ruefully at Akiyama before hugging her as well as pulling the girl into a standing position. "Anyway, now that you are awake, you'll have to return to full consciousness. I think that Baka-kun will freak out if you do not." Eriko allowed herself to be placed full on her feet, water washing about her ankles. "Also, learn that boy's name. It turns out that he is not really an idiot. Don't worry, I am watching out for you...like always." With that said, the spirit began pushing Eriko out of her subconscious and into the real world. The process took only a few seconds before a loud gasp could be heard within the confines of the small resting room of her Division's training grounds.

"Hmm," was the first thing that Eriko managed to say as she tried to keep a leve head throughout all of this. She was back in her Division. Her family was out there fighting without her. Her body ached with intensity that could make Hei whimper and there was a guy outside her door guarding her. This was not what she had in mind upon returning to reclaim her home. How could she just lie her? People need her. She tried to rise up off of the bed but was back on it within seconds, more because of the sudden foot on her chest than her tiredness.

"Stay. I might be exhausted but I am still stronger than you. Keep put." Removing the bare foot from the chest of the girl's clothes, Cho strode over to the door and knocked on it before opening it so as to gain Shiruba's attention. "Hey," she started sheepishly and then added, "I am Cho, Eriko's Zanpakuto. She is awake if you would like to see her. Her body might be a little sore, though and I can only do so much in this state." Her mouth twisted to the side for second and she walked back to Eriko's side, leaving the door open and taking the girl's hand like she had when they were in her world. A much more audible groan could be heard from Eriko as well as that the Shinigami Taicho simply turned her face away. "I feel awful."

Shiruba Uingusu, 11th Division Lieutenant
シルバーウイング、第11部中尉

User ImageShiruba had been lost in thought, looking into the shattered fragment of the Sephira's mask and wondered if his ideals would ever come true; if he could ever find the strength within himself to become stronger so he could protect those that needed protecting...

His mind wandered back to his days as a Samurai. It was the first day when he was introduced to his squadron and they had their first assignment. The farmers had recently been developing tools to use for weapons and employed them a kind of guerrilla warfare against the Shogun's command...

Shiruba remembered crossing into the deepest woods of his homeland, a dozen or so of his fellow Samurai walking beside him as they came upon the farmer's homestead. Their mission was simple: search, apprehend and kill if they were caught with their unique weapons. They took the small cottage without resistance, forcing the family to their knees while Shiruba went off to search for any others in the area...

When he and a few of his fellow troops had returned, they found their regiment slaughtered from an additional team of Shinobi entering the area. Normally Shinobi resorted only to tactics of stealth and misdirection, but it seems that they've been growing more forceful and decided that an attack was necessary to reclaim this stronghold.

The veteran Samurai took point and led a full attack against the Shinobi, a battle that became exceedingly hard for either side to gain an edge in and Shiruba felt as if he was letting down his friends, that his skills were not up to par to theirs and that was why they were failing.

Eventually, the battle was won, the Samurai were victorious but they had many casualties, among them, Shiruba's best friend, Tsubiyo, who had been blinded by one of the Shinobi's most heinous tricks: the Black Egg. She had lost the complete use of her eyes from the fragmented glass within the egg and, since then, Shiruba had helped care for her in their home.

She resembled Eriko in many ways...maybe that's why Shiruba felt close to her, because she reminded him a lot of Tsubiyo...a woman he held dearly close to his heart and it pained him a lot to know that if he had been a better swordsman, he would've been able to prevent her untimely blindness. He was determined that he would not let Eriko end up the same way, debilitated because of his inability to protect her...

He was so absorbed in his memories that he had only moments to put away the mask fragment before Cho had opened the door and he softly smiled, concealing the mask fragment enough so that she did not see it and, thankfully, she did not seem to notice it and he fully put it away when she left. When it was properly put away, Shiruba walked into the chamber, softly smiling at Eriko and Cho...

Before he spoke to either of them, a soft, white glow encompassed his sword and it escaped from its sheath like a mist, materializing into Tsuyatsuya's fox form, which stood up to Shiruba's waist and then sat as she smiled, speaking for Shiruba, "It seems you're doing better...I'm glad to see you were able to awaken...my master here was starting to get heavy with worry..."

Shiruba's cheeks slightly flared, his eyes narrowing at Tsuyatsuya as he groaned, keeping his eyes away from Eriko and Cho for the moment, "Concerned...I was merely concerned Tsuyatsuya. I knew she'd pull through eventually...she's strong like that..."

Tsuyatsuya softly chuckled, her sharp canines glowing as she smiled, "I'm sure you were...but where are our manners?" She then quickly shifted, "I am Tsuyatsuya. As you've no doubt surmised, I am his Zanpakuto spirit." And Shiruba nodded in agreement with Tsuyatsuya, now taking point, "Indeed...we were never formerly introduced. I am Shiruba Uingusu. The 11th Squad Lieutenant. It's a pleasure to meet both of you..."

Masashi, Lee, Gobantai Taichō

"I cannot stand who I am, I'm this man. With this blood on my hands, in this blood I am damned. So watch my wings burn as they burn in the fire. Don't scatter the ashes, no need for the choir."

Lee was a little surprised as the sephira went into segunda etapa, but he didn't say anything or even acknowledge her transformation. It was just further proof that he was getting farther and farther out of his league. The Sephira was strong enough that he had to wonder exactly how far up in the hierarchy she was. She was certainly stronger than Arian considering he had been able to at least fight Arian somewhat. Even if it was part of the time with Nu. Lee found himself wishing that he had not charged in alone, but there was nobody who was free he wanted to risk helping him. He would just have to accept the inevitable end to the fight and go down fighting like a true warrior. He did still have the strongest hadō ready for use at any moment. Whether that would be enough to defeat her outright however was still a question. Watching as his blade pierced through her he had a feeling it wasn't entirely real which was proven as the image bled then disappeared. The hadō continued on as it hit nothing until erupting and destroying a nearby building with it's explosion causing Lee to sigh. Another being was in the area causing Lee to look over as Tsukiko released her zanpakutō.

Memories resurfaced of Tsukiko being very angry at him on the night of their defeat, and Lee looked away noticing she had avoided his gaze. Lee had sent his apologies her way, but whether they had made it to her or not he was unsure. A part of him was relieved he had help yet another part that was a little stronger was slightly annoyed she would help him over others. Surely some of the others were worse off than him right? Currently he wasn't all that injured thanks to Elisia. However maybe Tsukiko had another reason for choosing him over the others. Brushing the thoughts to the side Lee had Neida's attack to deal with. Watching as the images appeared on the left and right of him until he heard the words Cero Oscuras leave her mouth. Well even if it wasn't real it was to big of an attack to ignore. Still as the dark energy formed it became very apparent that it was indeed real. In reply and the quickest way to actually escaping the attack, given Neida was near him, was to simply let the platform of spiritual energy to disappear. Lee immediately fell towards the ground narrowly avoiding the cero as it shot overhead catching the ends of his hair. Positioning himself between Neida and the moon that had it's own gravitational pull Lee prepared a quick counterattack. "Bakudō number ninety-eight, Jibōrensa. Hadō number eighty-eight, Hiryūgeki Zoku Shinten Raihō." Releasing the black chains first they would move at a much greater speed towards Neida to chain her up. Then the gigantic electrical blast would fire up and hopefully hit her completely, with the chains acting as a focus for the lightning and would hopefully cause more damage.

Then quickly he made markings on his arms and closed his eyes for a moment. "Bakudō number seventy-seven, Tenteikūra." Connecting his mind with Tsukiko he was initially silent, then after a few moments he sent a message to her mentally. 'Tsukiko-san I am going to keep this connection active while we battle this Sephira. It will help us communicate without her overhearing and, hopefully, make this battle go quicker. We have our differences I am aware, but I hope we can talk about it afterward. Until then I just want you to know that for this invasion I made the preparations beforehand to use Uranometria, the strongest hadō, and therefore when the time comes to actually use it I am going to need you to keep her busy, while I make the final preparations in the form of using the chant and actually using the attack.' Hearing Neida talk down to him Lee ignored her considering he did not ask Tsukiko for help. Not to mention the woman didn't want to even talk until now, when she was trying to get a rise out of him. Seeing her fire all the ceros at once and send some his way Lee immediately started dashing backwards to put some distance between the ceros and him.

Sending a few waves he watched as they collided with a few ceros and exploded prematurely though he couldn't do that for the entire volley. Getting an idea he waited for the ceros to get close then twirled in a circle with his zanpakutō extended. "Sazanami." Releasing the water outward from all over his body, he caused the remaining cero to explode a little ways in front of him, though he still got hit by the resulting explosion of so many cero colliding together. Being sent backwards Lee righted himself after a few moments only to see another bala coming towards him. The moment it was near him the bala erupted into hundreds of smaller bala. Doing his best to dash through them using shunpo when necessary he managed to dodge most of them, though he was still hit by a few given the sheer number of them. Thankfully they were spread out and didn't hone in like the ceros seemed to. Sporting a few new injuries that hadn't been there mere moments before, Lee sent a mental message to Tsukiko. 'I dunno how it will affect you, but I am getting ready to unleash a huge wave on her. I am sure you will be fine and not have to worry about it, but I do know electrical things do not go good with water. Though like I said I am sure your father protected you against such things.'

"Bōsōmizu."
Gathering all of the water in the area along with creating as much as was necessary, Lee created one enormous wave behind him that then crashed down towards Neida and him. Tsukiko could potentially be caught as well but he had faith she would be more than capable of dealing with whatever came her way for the moment. "Mizuni." Causing the entire wave to near the boiling point of water he allowed a small section to evaporate as it neared him saving himself from the attack. Then deciding to not make Tsukiko do anything did the same for her. Now with the increased heat it would also carry the potential to burn the sephira. Beginning to breath heavy he could feel himself nearing his limit at an increased pace thanks to the strength of his recent attacks. Taking a brief moment to inspect himself he noticed numerous burns all over and the pain momentarily flared. Taking another moment to ignore the pain as best he could Lee regretted his decision to not wait until after the battle to choose between Nu and Eriko. It seemed like he was nearing the possibility of not surviving at all and that would just further serve to hurt both of them. Nu because he had chose her then not made it out alive, and Eriko if she found out he had not chose her. The reason he had not sought out Eriko to tell her being he wanted her to have every reason to make it through this battle without falling to despair. His hope had been that her hope and desire would carry her through the battle relatively unharmed. Then she could spend as long as she wanted hating him for his decision.

'I am nearing my limit Tsukiko-san, so if possible, prepare to keep her busy while I ready the hadō. For what it's worth in case things do not go as planned and I do not make it I am sorry. Please tell Nu-san and Eriko-san the same if things go south.' And with that Lee began preparing himself to unleash the hadō so that this battle could be finished up.

In the midst of eyeballing Lee and Neida as they exchanged attacks, and just after Neida was caught up in her Moon, Tsukiko felt Lee enter her head, which was odd because she was not aware her head could actually connect to Tenteikuura. "Tch..." She mentally sucked her teeth at the Captain but thought nothing more, since she was liable to go off on him if given the opportunity. This was obviously ultimately counter-productive to the entire reason she had come here to begin with, aside from comforting Elisia, so she tried to keep a cool head. Neida's words to Lee, despite their sarcastic tone and her demeaning intentions, actually served to cheer her up by making her inwardly giggle at both her words, and her subsequent response to Tsukiko's Moon. "My my, Neida-obaachan. For someone who speaks lowly of a robot knockoff, you sure didn't have any problems letting yourself lose to one. How long did it take for me to bring you to your knees last time; a half a minute, forty-five seconds tops?" Her tone held an air of condescending mixed in with a pinch of amusement and a a slightly higher pitch than normal. The gynoid let a small smirk appear on her face as she responded to the Cero and Bala coming towards her and the moon by lifting her hand and curling her fingers into a flick-ready position, then released the pent up energy in them by flicking her middle finger towards the Sephira, generating a field of gravity that made the projectiles super heavy, resulting in them suddenly veering towards the ground below her and exploding as they crashed into it.

By this time, the moon had disappeared from its current location and vanished, however, Tsukiko would not give the Sephira a chance to use her Garganta abilities that she had watched through Lee's eyes. Just as Neida made the mark on her chest, Tsukiko whipped out a six inch, steel-cased rod, which she instantly poured her Reiryoku into. This action caused the two ends to move away from each other, revealing a panel inside it containing a button. when she pressed it, it snapped shut and emitted the same hypersonic wave that had stranded the Sephira in the Seireitei all those months ago. It would effectively prevent the Sephira from using her Rápida Garganta and Super Rápida Garganta, making it easier for Lee and herself to land a blow. "We can't have any more of your nonsense, hag." After she stashed the rod back in her robes, she got wind of Lee's intentions; to make a wave to strike Neida. He also mentioned something about being concerned for her, then something about Hei, but she wasn't really listening since his initial comment was enough to make her CPU start calculating at insane speeds. One of her strengths was to calculate Causality and Probability and inhuman levels, an ability that allowed her to calculate any and every outcome of any situation provided no new radical information was thrown in. In seconds she had them all analyzed and, working at top speed, she entered into her Bankai. "Bankai, Gessekai Tsukiyomi." As soon as the Bankai activated did the wave come, and as it were to crash down upon all three of them did the sun appear to extinguish itself. The area these three were in was plunged into night when her Bankai's membrane stretched overhead, making it far more difficult for Neida to react to the wave due to the sudden and abrupt darkness; her eyes wouldn't adjust fast enough.

Tsukiko waited a few seconds before extending a hand and using her Hirakutsuki technique to begin widening the voids that existed between the molecules of water that surrounded them all. As this occurred, the water would appear to be drawn away from Neida in all directions -forming a sphere of water around her--, and pushing towards Tsukiko and Lee, the former of whom had just switched to night vision. Locating Lee, she waited until he had finished talking to her again before she utilized Shukichi Mukyo and arrived at his side by shooting through the water around them like a rocket. She emerged dripping wet, and grabbed Lee by the sleeve before using the same technique again and moving them away from the area. "Uranometria? Highly unnecessary, you stupid fool." As soon as she touched down in an area away from the water, she lifted a hand and snapped her fingers, an act which released the the widened voids and caused all of the water and air that was around Neida to implode, rushing towards her with hundreds of pounds of force from every conceivable angle, intending to crush her into a tiny ball of flesh, bone, and muscle. "Hirakutsuki." Turning to Lee, she put her finger to his stomach and then flicked him, her flick containing substantial amounts of strength and plenty enough to knock him off his feet. "Look, I don't like you, but you killing yourself for no reason is not something I'm just going to watch. It's stupid and so totally lame, so man up. Making a little girl pass on your dying wish, what kind of idiot are you?!" Snubbing him, she turned up her nose and whipped herself in the other direction so that she could look towards Neida. It was only about this time that Human vision would adapt to the change in light, so Lee should have been able to see her turn away.

[Obaa-chan = granny. She called her old. xd

tl;dr: Tsukiko used gravity to repel the Cero and Bala. Next she used Kukanshimari Menuribō to seal Garganta yet again. Next she insulted Neida, because she can. After that she waited until Lee used the wave to use her Bankai and make the surrounding area into night and super dark (because her moon was gone) and begin widening the spaces between the molecules with gravity. Then she took Lee away and released the gaps she had made, which caused all the water and air surrounding Neida to collapse onto her from every direction with hundreds of pounds of force. Then she made fun of Lee. Again. ._.]

She had no idea of how long she had been sitting there, clutching desperately at Hideki and looking for any sign that would alert her that he was alive. Her cheeks were stained, her eyes were red at the moment and she was just barely containing a loud, frustrated scream that was threatening to burst out of her at any moment. Being negligent in protecting herself and ensuring that she wasn’t attacked by anyone, she scarcely managed to feel the well-known presence of her partner before a hand rested on her shoulder. A wave of calm washed over her and she choked back her sobs, looking helplessly up at Tsukiko. Unable to form any articulate words or anything sensible at the moment, she simply stared blankly and lifelessly at the other girl, seeming as if something had vanished from her, leaving her with nothing. Tsukiko’s words were heard but she made no response except for a half-hearted nod when she managed to drag herself out for long enough to remember the fact that she was supposed to be making this easier for her wife.

It took several moments for her to regain a resemblance of sanity and she slowly clambered to her feet, a little voice in her head reminding of her duties and what she was supposed to do on the battlefield. Furiously drying her tears on the sleeve of her Haori, which had been drenched in blood, she scrambled to her feet, gently picking up Hideki’s body. As she was one of the only few healers around, she couldn’t afford to slack off at a time like this, no matter her personal problems and issues. There would be eventually a time for that later on in privacy and when she could think straight. Lifting and arranging him so that he was carried over her shoulder, she headed off in the direction Tsukiko had chosen, moving slower as she had additional weight and she didn’t intend to hurt him anymore than she had before. This was a place that she had not visited yet for healing and it was likely, with all the attacks and injuries that she had seen so far, that her abilities would be needed.

However, she was halted once again as she met a sudden expanse of darkness. Clawing back her doubts, she slowly fought her way through the darkness, checking her every step before moving and taking care to steer towards Tsukiko’s voice, which she could hear quite clearly. Apparently, the girl was angry about something to do with someone wanting to commit suicide, although the reason and the person themselves were currently a mystery to her. Reaching by the girl’s side, she squinted into the darkness, her eyes starting to shift towards becoming accustomed to darkness and she made out the figure of Lee in the background, who was the one Tsukiko had been yelling at, and as her vision adjusted, she could discern the burns and injuries that were scattered around his body. She placed a comforting arm on Tsukiko’s shoulder, feeling a need to comfort the girl and murmuring, “Thank you, my love, ” before turning her attention to her patient. With her free arm that was not supporting Hideki, she pointed it at Lee, casting an Iyashi to get rid of any pain as well as a Keikatsu to heal his minor injuries before she cut herself, directing her blood to move to the other injuries that she could see at the moment. As she was unsure of whether or not she had managed to properly fix everything since she was working in a place where she couldn’t exactly see too well, she asked him, “Anywhere else that you think there was an injury, Gobantai Taichō?”
