She held back a bit of a laugh as she watched the young man suppress a yawn, getting the feeling he wasn't one for late nights like many that frequented the Club these days. Then again, it wasn't that late either. But he as still young, and needed as much rest as he could get.
Jade nodded in silence in response to the boy's answers about the future, making an seperate note in her head about his distance from 'Father's connections'. Something wasn't right there.
She saw him approach, and held out her arms at the last moment to embrace him back in the hug. Almost in an instant, Jade took on a bit of a maternal role with the young man. It seemed he had grown up well, but it was obvious most was his mothers influence. Just the way he spoke about his father left something desperately wanting.
"Ja ne, Oiko." She wished him well as he left, a smile still on her face.
"What do you make of him, Pith?" She spoke to the mage near her, looked still at the main doors the boy left from. There was a bit of concern in her voice, as to what could happen to cause Kenta to feel so cold at any mention of his father.

Smiling amiably at Jade she bowed her head once again.
"No worries Jade. I should reprimand myself for not greeting you as well."
Running her hand through her hair at the mention of her husband she smiled broadly.
"Yes were doing fine, though we should really make a better effort to align our schedules. Our time together is too fleeting for my tastes."
As she spoke it occurred to her that her speech patterns were much to formal to her liking when it was with someone she didn't normally speak to. Bitting her lower lip remarked on the explanation of Kenta's arrival. The lack of any magical energies about his person alluded to the fact that he hadn't arrived by magical means. At least not directly. It was also doubtful that he had asked her for any aid as well, as his reception of her currently seemed to hold little affection. Such was to be expected in a ways. Noticing an attentive gaze from the man she did not know she tilted her head.
"I'm sorry sir are you feeling left out of the conversation? We many times tend to do that without knowing."
She was usually the recipient of such circumstances, thus she knew all to well. Turning to Jade she tilted her head at her question.
"He seems to be an interesting individual. A little aloof at times. But well meaning."

Yenek shook his head to relieve his brain of its work, he would save his energy for another time "No, it is not my place to throw my feelings into the conversations of close friends," he said looking to the woman who had shown concern for him "But I would like to ask how you cannot be astounded by a young man who can travel through time, I'm over a century old and I still can't manage that kind of feat." he noted sounding stiff and formal as he generally did when addressing those he did not know well.

"He certainly is, very much like Ichigo, I do believe." Jade hadn't spoken much to the kitsune woman much on her own, and definitely not recently. Still, the boy acted like anyone *but* Keno.
Jade glaced over to Yenek, if she recalled his name correctly, sitting at the bar by himself. She didn't really have much to say to him, her head currently filled with the unspoked information Kenta had given her.
"If he had come last year, I wouldn't understand why he'd be so cold about Keno. But now, I can understand. Nii-chan has changed a lot, and not for the better, in my opinion...."
It was more to herself, but partially to Epithany as well. Jade made a mental vow to herself, to try and see if there was anyway to have Keno and Kenta's relationship not be so....nonexistant.

Nodding at the man's statement she smiled broadly at his reaction to Kenta's explanation of being from another time.
"Oh that is mainly because I am a mage who specializes in time and space magics. So in turn I deal with that sort of thing on a daily basis. As strange as it sounds, I have consulted elder versions of myself on many occasions. They allow for insight I wouldn't otherwise have access to."
Shrugging she rose to feet to get herself a drink from behind counter. Returning with a glass of strawberry Alazay she settled down quietly.
"Are you interested in such things?"
Making note of Jade's comments concerning her nephew and her brother, the mage shrugged.
"Yes...Keno does seem a bit more on edge as of late. Though with reason. But I believe it is a pity to have such a sour relationship with your child. Any ideas?

Yenek nodded "Very much so, I can control all seven elements but the power over time eludes me," he said in respose to the last bit of her reply. He thought about talking to himself in the future and couldn't hold in the stupid joke "Ever try and get rich off time travel?" he asked childishly.

Shaking her head at the man's question she smiled answer earnestly.
"That is something that is frowned upon in the magical community. But others have done as much. Using it for such means in my eyes is kind of low brow."
Shrugging she sipped some of her drink.
In truth she had heard of such practices, but it never occured to her to try to use it for the lottery or the likes. She was and individual whom never really needed much in the way of money. It didn't hurt that her mage's guild was also one of the most profitable mercenary groups in the entire world, if not bridging universes. Thus such means were rarely of interest to her.
"Hmmm..."

Yenek stood his movment was quick and his expression changed quickly to one of irritation "Damn it, once a day I have to deal with this moron when will he learn," he muttered to himself. The Devil Lord looked to the woman he was speaking to "Well I would love to ask about the hmm-ing but it seems my throne is being challenged again, I must go." he said and with that he vanished in a swirl of black smoke.

"Not yet...."
Jade green eyes had narrowed slightly, her mind working now to try and find a solution to a problem far into the future. It might change things, but she didn't want to knowingly see her nephew grow up so cold to Keno, and eventually become distant from her. She wasn't going to allow it.
In a way, Jade was relieved to have something else to think about other than how much she sucked in her latest fight. Still, it wasn't a subject she wanted to be stuck on.
Besides, she knew she wouldn't be able to avoid Deity for much longer. So she decided that going back to her room would be best.
"Please excuse me Pith, but I should be off. Take care, and goodnight."
She bowed slightly to the other woman, nodding as Yenek took his leave to go and save his thrown. Jade turned around, taking another sip from her water bottle as she headed for the elevator. The girl pulled out her key and waited for the doors to open, before stepping inside to head up for the night.

Giving Jade sympathetic expression she drank more of the red liquid in her glass.
"Good night to both of you."
Knowing Yenek had likely departed before she had even blurted out her statement she waved to Jade as she headed for the elevator. Once again alone the mage sat nursing her drink in the stark silence of the empty room.
The thought occurred to her to summon for the remaining pages she had yet to diagram for her library. But at this time of night, the process seemed incredibly unappealing. Shrugging she drained the last of her beverage.
With little more than her thoughts to keep her company the mage rose from her seat after disposing of he glass. Producing her key with a simple flick of her fingers she headed for the elevator and by proxy, up to her room.
