"Alice" was at first rather exasperated with the large white stallion who insisted upon re-naming him, but the-rabbit-formerly-known-as-George has grown to be incredibly fond of the bumbling stallion and is extremely loyal to him. Though his own glasses are fake, he often takes responsibility for finding Peter's spectacles when they invariably become misplaced.
He Approves of Meroko, thinks she's rather good for Peter and that they would do well together, and is quite fond of her rabbit familiar as well.

Personality: When Lalaith sings, sympathy and bittersweet sorrow resonates in the hearts of those who listen. Her pure melody needs no words to affect others, though lyrics only strengthen its effect. She can alter the mood of her song by singing of general instances or particular occurrences, imparting depression, contemplation, or reflection on the Listener. Depending on the unique personality of the Listener, her ability to stir mourning, sorrow, and liberation from past ills (through truthful reflection and contemplation of old emotional wounds) can produce a variety of physical manifestations: tears, hysterical laughter, complete stillness... the Listener's experiences up until the point her song reaches their ears alter what she brings to the surface. She could sing of a tree, which for one Listener brings to mind beautiful memories of lush forests and for another conjures visions of being left waiting for a mate who will never return. She could sing a series of high notes, which reminds one Listener of their lost child and reminds another of the wind whistling through the mountains. In this way, she does not "control" others... her song merely serves as a vessel for closure.
History: A funeral song comes when a life ends, to commemorate the life lived and soothe those left behind. It offers a musical shroud beneath which the mourners (or those rejoicing) can experience their personal journeys.
Lalaith's singing is mournful by nature, but she can lend positive notes to it- uplifting, charming qualities that help to soothe emotional upheaval. Practice in sustaining her song has given her the endurance of a well-trained Opera singer. Even with her skill at holding notes while drawing breath, the duration of her song is limited by her corporeal needs. She must eat, drink, and sleep like any other being- and although her snores may be considered unusually melodic, they do not hold the powers of her song.
She can sing until she collapses, putting her heart and soul into it until she faints from exhaustion. She has never pushed her own limits that far- usually closure or a revelation occurs long before she runs out of strength.
She can chose to direct her skill towards helping a particular creature sort through their past, or merely sing for song's sake.
She would not push another past their emotional limits, and thus may sing a series of songs for the same Listener- slowly nudging them towards revelation instead of plunging them devastatingly towards the chaos of their past- to avoid psychotic breaks. She has developed a certain intuition for this reason, and seems to know when a potential Listener is not ready to revisit their past. (When setting out specifically for closure, she watches her Listeners carefully and takes cues from their reactions as to how to tailor her song to suit their needs. She is remarkable perspective, and can discover truth amidst grimaces and sobs.)
When she falls ill, her throat is particularly susceptible to becoming raw and sore. When her throat is severely irritated, her voice becomes hoarse and her singing less effective.
An inherent necessity of her effectiveness is the capacity to listen. Deaf creatures, or those with damaged hearing, would only experience watching her lip movements... those who are simply bad at shutting up long enough to listen will catch a note or two and then be captured by her voice.

She grew particularly close to one stallion who had a tortured past, and his need for serenity drew them ever closer.
What started as solace grew to love, as they shared more of their lives and their futures became one.
Though she is now Lifemated, she is still there for those who need her most- and, sometimes, when the situation is right (an angsty youth, a tortured cross who has seen the darker side of existence), a mixed-blood stallion joins her and offers his own breed of solace.

Personality: He's a quiet/soft-spoken type, but capable of great insights when engaged in conversation. He is drawn to the cool embrace of water over harsh dry land, but will explore both realms with equal curiosity. As with all Kelpis, he dries out if he's been on land too long, so he tries to remain near bodies of water... but sometimes he wanders too far inland... especially if given sufficient motivation.
He "collects" spots/landscapes. If he finds a particularly marvelous view or a beautiful underwater scene, he will file away its location in his memory and return later to admire it anew. Whereas some like to take souvenirs to remind them of that place, he would rather leave it undisturbed and return again.

Personality: A rather easy to spook, skittish stallion with good intentions.
History: He was raised in a rather secluded herd of all-natural Regulars, so upon his first ventures into the 'outside' he was rather frightened/shocked at the large array of shapes, sizes, and appendages found on Soquili throughout the lands.
His experiences have helped him mature, particularly not to make judgements based on someone's appearance (scary Mutant horse does NOT always mean a Monster).

Brash, brave, and bright, this bold filly charges head-first into situations many others would actively avoid. She is prone to skinned knees and other minor scrapes that plague thin-skinned adventurers, exercising caution only when the situation is too dire to behave normally.
She is intelligent, and learns from her mistakes- though it could be said that her knowledge is applied more to 'okay, how can I do that again but better?' than 'I shouldn't do that again because the results are bad.' Innovative and unafraid to share her emotions, she may come off as a little too blunt and creatively-curt at times... but she means well.
