The large white stallion peered at the ground, his eyes darting to an fro anxiously. "Aliccccceee...." he whined, his voice cracking uncharacteristically. He cleared his throat, closed his eyes, and sighed. "Alice." his voice was much calmer now, though his muscles seemed to vibrate from agitation. "Please... it's not funny." A chortle came from the bushes, and Peter sighed once more. "I can hear you, you know... taking my glasses does not rob me of my hearing, only my sight." The corrective lenses had been a gift from a two-legged, and not one he took lightly. They hooked ever so precariously over his ears, prone to falling off, so he was apt to loosing them... but this time, he knew that Alice had taken them.
For the life of him, he could not figure out why.
"Alice..." he tried again. "My dear... please?" He knew that his familiar could not understand all that came from his mouth, but the rabbit knew tone well enough to grasp the basic meaning. And right now, Peter was not above begging. Gazing around without his glasses gave him a headache; it was as if his brain exhausted itself trying to make sense of the fuzzy world.
Crimson eyes opened as he peered into the... greenish ground-lump (Bush, his mind corrected) and scanned for any sign of movement. His golden time-keeping device swayed to and fro on its chain, ticking away the time as his patience dwindled.
Perhaps his familiar delighted in switching out his own pair of glass-frames for Peter's corrective lenses. The rabbit had perfect vision, but when he peered out from behind Peter's glass-frames he seemed to... wobble around, waving his hands out in front of him and acting for all the world like he was blind. Odd... but perhaps the lenses had the opposite of the intended affect when the creature wearing them had perfect vision already?
He sighed, listening to the methodical ticks of time. His gaze drifted upwards, and he squinted at the bluish sky. The day could only get better.... right?

Meroko lay in the shade, she didn't really have anything to do, in fact she was rather bored, which was probably why she was napping where she was. In truth she was annoyed and having a small tantrum. Takuto was paying more attention to Mitsuki than her. So she was going to stay away and make them regret this pairs thing they had going. It was her and Takuto or all three of them... there was no Mitsuki and Takuto!
Opening an eye, drawn from her semi sleeping thinking she lifted her head from the where it rested on her pink bunny toy, frowning slightly as she listened. Someone's glasses? Who was Alice?? Yawning and standing she picked up her toy and sat it on her back as she started forward. She hadn't gone far through the brush before 2 things happened. Firstly she saw the stallion that was making the noise looking for his glasses... Secondly her hoof bumped into something and she looked down. Finding herself blinking down at a rabbit in a waist coat... Weird... Her eyes shifting and going to the glasses she held... So this was Alice... Not hesitating to think she grinned at the thing and spoke while reaching down to take the glasses off of it. "I'll take those, thank you." Wit that she simply nipped the glasses from the rabbit and head high walked away towards the stallion intending to give them back to their owner. After all, the way he was wandering round he seemed as good as blind without them.
Walking up to the stallion she bumped his nose with the glasses, managing an awkward. "Here." round the arm thing in her mouth, trying hard to keep hold while not biting hard and breaking them.

Alice squeaked in a scolding tone at the mare and skittered a few steps backwards, rather miffed by her sudden appearance. She'd practically kicked him, and what's more had spoiled his little game! He thumped his foot and waggled his ears in displeasure, twitching his nose as he watched the pair of hooved creatures.
Peter's ears twitched at the female voice he did not recognize, his entire body stiffening as he waited to see what she might do. He squinted, trying to see what was going on, and his ears flattened against his head at Alice's scolding squeaks before perking as the... great blurry pink thing.... approached. He spotted Alice (one of the few blurry shapes with a name, as it was one he had the displeasure of seeing quite often... thanks to his little games) skittering towards a bush, and breathed a sigh of relief. Though they had a rather comical relationship at times, he did not wish any harm to fall upon his companion.
He wrinkled his nose at the touch of cold metal, and then grinned broadly, realizing that it could be only one thing. His glasses, returned! "Thank you." he murmured, keeping his voice pitched quietly due to the proximity of the... blurry pink ... mare? He hazarded a guess, based upon the rosey hue and the tone of voice. He allowed himself a moment of dismay at this rather unconventional first meeting, and then focused on more important matters- such as restoring his vision, so that he might look at the kindly soul and thank her for her help. Opening his eyes wide to let in the light and then squinting in concentration, he puzzled over how to actually accept his glasses back without harming them or accidentally bumping the female with his head.
He tilted his head back and forth, his great ears flopping with the movement, trying to find an angle that would best accomplish his goal. With a delicate sigh, he lowered his head until he was at what he assumed was just-beneath-chin-level and smiled helplessly. "Would you mind?" he queried gently, rather embarrassed by his conundrum. He couldn't really flick the glasses into the air and hope they'd land on his head, as he could easily misjudge their trajectory. The last thing he needed was a broken frame... Perhaps... if she just lay them on his forehead... he could wiggle his ears and get them to fall into place?

Mero paid no more attention to the rabbit once she had the glasses, ok so she liked a game too now and then but the stallion seemed blind without them so this was a little mean for her taste. Not able to respond to his thanks she smiled, though she soon realised that he couldn't see her smile, giving a small huff she nodded and looked at him carefully as he lowered his head so she could place the glasses back on his face for him. It made sense after all, it wasn't like he could do it himself. This thought caused her to look back at the rabbit with an unhappy glare, the game was doubly cruel with that realisation.
Tilting her head this way and that she finally settled on the right position and carefully and slowly lined the glasses up so they would sit in the right place on his face, letting go as soon as she had them in place and stepping back to give him room. "Sorry, I hope I didn't poke you in the eye or anything, its hard to tell what's what so close." Her long pink hair hanging to the ground as she looks at him, knowing she was coloured like an escapee from a candy floss(cotton candy) factory, but she liked pink, which was probably a good thing... Sadly few others did it seemed. That thought got her thinking about Takuto again, he was so pretty and white, she would tell him again when she saw him, he had to accept her soon, he couldn't keep on rejecting her love. Though he.... NO! That was a forbidden thought, she wouldn't let Mitsuki have his love, though he did seem to like the younger mare better.... Was she too old for him?
Shaking her head and smiling at the stranger, she wouldn't think on that, she couldn't. "Hi I'm Meroko, though sometimes people call me Mero for short. Are you ok now?"

Peter gave a gentle sigh of relief as the mare daintily returned his vision. The feel of the cool metal against his skin was a welcome feeling... he blinked, and grinned, a silent thanks for her careful assistance. "I'm very glad to have met you, Mero-"
He blinked again, his mind processing the image before him.
Why... lovely. Now that his vision had cleared, the "great blurry pink thing" had transformed into a... a... He gazed at the soft feathers, so detailed, and the cute little red hat- EARS! Before he could stop himself from staring (so rude!), his jaw slackened a tiny bit though his lips remained closed. Was she... like him?
He had never met another... well, he wasn't quite sure what he was. He wiggled his ears experimentally, and twitched his tail, and blinked. "Y-yes, thank you! I am quite alright, I can see perfectly now- handy things, these spectacles, you see, they really do make seeing so much better- easier- erm, possible-" He was babbling.
He cleared his throat, sighed, and relaxed his tensed form. Somewhere in the bushes, his beloved Alice rustled merrily, probably digging for an anthill or some other mischievous deed. "So sorry. Forgive me. I am Peter, Peter White, and my companion is Alice." He offered her an apologetic grin, his white coat glistening nicely in the sunlight. "It really is quite good to meet you." His ears wiggled once, his glasses performing a merry dance in rhythm with them before settling firmly back into place. He was bursting to ask, but, well... wasn't that rude?
