The purple page was honestly tuning out the dreadlocked nuisance who was currently being handled by everyone else, too many hands in the kitchen and what have you, so he was focusing on digging through the lockers when they strangest thing started to happen. Two lockers started to creak and squeak, bulging at the hinges before barfing amphibians into the staff room!
At least they looked like frogs... toads? But like no toad Sig had ever seen before! No real creature was that size and color! Nope! Big nope on that one!
He picked up some of the first things that came to hand and started to just throw them at the creatures, hoping to kill them but praying to just keep them away.

There was so much going on, splitting, screaming (all them, not him, obviously. He was just *talking* above them all! *That was different!*) youmas were youmaing around---
It was a lot--- and then Albite felt a tug, looked to his left, and found a Squire of Christmas hanging off his arm. What was with these people!? Thanksgiving hadn't even happened yet, Halloween was barely over, and someone was already breaking out the red, green, white, gold garlands and tinsel and all the bright chrismssy trappings! Order people clearly lived on the edge of a sugar high and played that one Mariah Carey station three months earlier than necessary.
And they looked at him like he was crazy? HAH!
"You're right Mrs. Claus, I too know the struggle of reading signage, and I shouldn't judge......" he was totally judging, not harshly, just a little bit!! Mostly he knew they were right and that he was too hangry to be deciding anything rationally! So he grabbed that gorgeous little garland of (Irkalla's) and pulled--"NOW! Let's get the ******** into those lockers before anything else bursts out! Alright team!? Yeah!"
They all had the frogs -- toads -- creatures? Well handled, he was sure! There were, like, ten or twenty other order people in the room by his own Albestimation! And as the star-spangled senshi of *wow* (Urania) slapped one of the youma into non-existence with nothing more than a brick house of paper he could only laugh, and focus himself on the task ahead. Order had this, they'd be fine, his food on the other hand? HIS SAMMICH! Was a helpless thing in need of saving imminently!

"Baby, if you help me find my sandwhich in alluv this? I'll do waaaay more for you n just stop being hangry---After I eat, of course..." and the short haired Senshi in the short skirt got a wink, a smile that promised (Farbauti) he'd ease up on the dramatics just a tad. "And you're all very sweet to offer to buy me something new! But this was a paying job! I think... And I'm not about to abandon my lunch to be a youma feast!!" he didn't sound quite sure about any of that as he hollered above the din of dying frogs in (Uranias) direction while he pulled up to the lockers, sized them up, scrolled them over in a half panic: eenei, meenie, minnneeeiiiii---tried to put his entire right fist through a middle locker labeled Moe.

The yo-frog that had lurched free of 'Devin's' lower level locker 'mrorbed' a singular, technicolor flavored ribbit; swelling in the presence of so many starseeds just waiting to be snacked upon. It nearly oozed up an attack--
Until the hammer of god sized stack of what appeared to be Lippincott's printouts came down on its unwitting, squishy form.
And then 'Devin' hungered no more, bursting vividly as a baby reveal gone wrong, scattering slorm, spikes, and gooze that quickly became a gag-worthy plume of dust in it's wake. The dust had the downside of tasting spicy, like freshly ground black pepper.

One of the split-lets was cleaved into dice sized frogs by an overlarge stapler thrown by Sig, the item bashed through its gelatinous form, leaving a few smears of ooze that became eraser trails of dust in the aftermath of it's demise, but left it's burbling siblings to continue to multiply and hop to it!

“Oh! I didn’t realize the sandwich was a reward for a job well-done.” Urania had gotten rewards for jobs before and they were always better knowing she had earned them through hard work. This sandwich had special meaning and could just not be simply replaced! This all made perfect sense to her now.
“It seems we must find the reward sandwich.”
She looked down at the youma — now rather spicy pile of dust — and began to sneeze. Did all youma turn into black pepper when they died?
Achoo…
She’d have to search for it after she got the soot off her.
There at the back of the room is a set of locked cabinets. A quick smash of the locks reveal TWO large tanks that give off an ominous vibe. They have to be bad for your health.
Let's try to open them!
Players, please roll TWO 20 Sided Dice in each of your posts - ~ Anything 30 and above means the tanks are opened and the crystals smashed, releasing all energy and allowing it to dissipate with no harm to any in the room. ~ Below 30 means nothing happens, try again! ~ Two Nat 20 (40) means the tanks open rather explosively o.O! Oh dear you triggered the nasty little surprise the Mauvians left behind in their creation. ~~ Personal damage can occur at this time but up to characters/players how impacted they are by the explosion.
OOC Info: Each tank will need to be opened separately! Please indicate with a Bolded Blue Tank # at the top of your post to indicate which tank (1 or 2) you are ‘attacking’.
If an accidental roll is created please edit the post with a Bolded Red ‘VOID’ at the top, you are still free to use it for RP though. The dice roll just won't count towards the game completion. The second game can continue even after the tanks are opened.
And remember, the second game and Youma Game is still ongoing until the end of this thread. You're welcome to participate in all three dice games… you will just have to separate both rolls into their own individual posts.
Urania wondered aloud. But they were locked. She tried to pry the lock off and it took a second, but it was not hard to crack. It was almost like she had broken into things she shouldn’t have before…
Honestly when the tanks showed up he wasn't overly surprised. More bewildered then anything. Why would someone stick something like those in cabinets? What was the point? Were they special or something? Sig wondered if he was forgetting something or if he was just missing it, either way he had more pressing matters at hand, namely those damnable toads.
Searching for more things to throw, he instantly started to toss what ever came to his hands, be it paper, scissors, or a lunch box... it felt empty so it likely didn't have the missing sandwich... he belatedly hoped. Sig even chucked a few of his improvise projectiles towards one of the two tanks, they didn't do much but at least he hit it.
This had been the risk that she had been willing to take when she hastily grasped a limb of this Albite with her weapon. Knowing that it put her in close proximity to an unknown potential threat was the downside but at least it seemed as if perhaps some reason had been talked into the corrupt senshi. He almost now appeared to be open to rational discussion and even more a rational sense of searching for his missing sandwich. Although she wasn't keen on the idea of being towed around to the lockers that the toad-youma had spawned out from she had to admit that a locker search of more than one individual would probably go faster.
At the sight of his fist going straight through a locker though Irkalla attempted to place her hands on her hips, but only managed the one before she sighed. Staring at the lockers to either side of her and the others that had been damaged already the squire glanced once more to the senshi who'd decided he wanted a tag-along before resigning herself to smashing open the locker on her left with a few solid strikes of her free hand. Radiating pain was her instant reward but she shrugged off the flare of agony before reaching into the locker and gently feeling around. A risky approach given the other lockers but she sighed as nothing seemed to indicate the general shape of a sandwich having been stored inside.
Was it worth it to continue allowing her fellow order members the chance to work unimpeded while she distracted Albite? More than likely the answer was yes. Her body moved closer as she shifted to stand in front of the new locker marked with a name of "Kent" that had been freshly scrawled over a name that had been scratched over. The original name was ineligible to the squire but she eyed the unlocked unit before wondering what was going on. Risking the chance of something else popping up from the inside did Irkalla pull open the locker door before peering inside. Okay, so nothing leaped out at her and that was a start. She saw an item that was plastic-wrapped and reached in to pull it out before simply staring down at what she'd found.
Her other hand bumped into the corrupt senshi's side to get his attention before she held up the item in question, "is this it?"
It clearly was a sandwich that seemed to be loaded down with everything feasible. Her free hand shifted her found item to the other hand even as she reached into the locker again, searching as for any other clues and finding nothing in the process. But at least the lunch of the upset one had been found?

Illyria, Order Mauvian (( sensing the vibes off the tanks and going to check them out ))
The newest arrival into the room marked as 'Staff Only' would have arrived silently amongst the various drama that was playing out inside. The toads were given a wide berth, as was the only chaos-aligned individual in the room. But Illyria was not so distracted that she didn't recognize the familiar dreadlocks and tattoo covered individual, nor the familiar sight of Urania, so very recently upgraded into a super senshi, nor the figure that had once asked her what a particular battle had been about. Illyria took this all in before her fur rose along her back to the ominous vibes that were emanating from a corner of the room. Slinking, creeping, moving slowly as to hopefully not draw too much attention to herself did the Mauvian stop in front of the tanks before staring at the contraption with awe.
What exactly did these things do? Gently tapping on the exposed side of one of the tanks Illyria gave a cat-like grin of intrigue before leaping to the top of one tank and tried hitting a few of the buttons she found there ... to no apparent effect.
The was something to be said for random button pressing. Although the first attempt didn't seem to do anything Illyria studied the buttons on top of the tank more carefully before tapping out another sequence. At first it seemed as if nothing was going to happen once more. But a low rumbling started under her paws and she jumped clear of the tank before spiderweb cracks began to appear on the crystal that was had been exposed to all that could see it.
Illyria's round violet orbs took in the sight of the crystal shattering before she hopped over to the still functioning unit. Could a repeat performance of the button sequence work a second time?
Borax stepped inside the absolute ******** of people in the staff room, sighing both internally and externally when he realized who of his team was at the center. It was Albite. Of course, it was Albite. When was it not Albite?
Why were some of the senshi and knights dressed in white talking about a sandwich? They had managed to break into a Negaverse draining operation. Why were they worried about a goddamn sandwich?
...
Ah.
It was Albite's sandwich. Of course. "I can just get you a new sandwich, Albite!" Borax shouted over the din, flipping his spear around to look for who might be the most dangerous target. "Subs are not hard to come by!" The Mauvian, maybe? She was ******** around with the tanks, and the last thing he needed was the hard-earned energy just disappearing into the air.
There were better uses for guardian cats than pointing a spear at them, but desperate times called for desperate measures. Without saying a word, he teleported behind the cat and attempted a jab at her with the spear.
Might've been too late, but perhaps it would dissuade her from trying that again.

There was a little bit of sadness in her heart over destroying something that could have had Mauvian technology implanted into it but the tanks needed to go. Even as there came a new arrival into the room did Illyria almost feel the desire to leave the second tank standing so that it could be studied and maybe she could glean some secrets from it. That thought of course was more of a private desire than anything but she tamped it down. The chance to study the tech from those Mauvians who'd been taken from their ranks would have to wait for another day. Even as she moved to start her same motions of the sequence of buttons pushed did she pause.
Whatever it was that alerted her to the danger that had materialized behind her Illyria almost ignored. It was the brief moment of her gaze sweeping the room and not finding the newest arrival, coupled with the faint sound of air whistling behind her that had her senses on high alert. Those senses screamed "danger, danger" even as she bounded forward out of what would have been a real painful strike with a spear tip. Arching her back and growling low in her throat in defiance did Illyria take in the sight of the one that had just tried to make her a cat-shish-kabob before her tail lashed back and forth in irritation.
"How dare..." and she was all piss and vinegar now. Her gaze tracked to the tank that was still functioning. Her sudden shift to human form might have have advantages, in the terms of limbs that could actually block further attempts that were designed to dissuade her from continuing, but Illyria needed to get that other tank disabled. Already, even though she'd dodged as best as she could the initial attack, could she feel a slight burning sensation along her leg. Had she truly been hit??
Damn. reflexes must be slowing a bit. Oh well. I might only have one more shot at this
Illyria darted towards the remaining tank and slapped her hands down on the buttons, hoping with some urgency that it'd have the same effect as her move with the other tank before she darted away as quickly as she could from the spear-wielding agent.
Her posture almost seemed to deflate when nothing seemed to register with the sole remaining tank.
