OOC Info:This is a DICE GAME. Anyone choosing to participate in this thread does not have to roll the dice but the first ‘game’ must be completed by at least one player before entry into the room is granted to the whole group. Players have the choice of proceeding to the next games once entry is granted but they do not have to…. it might be dangerous to stay for too long.
Chaos peeps you can participate to make the Staff room more fun but it's a tight space, and like the treatment rooms you too will have to find a way out!

FAQ - Can this concept/location be used in personal RPs? -- Yes, personally I would suggest setting it prior to the start of the event though XD. I will also be happy to rp with anyone with regards to this
- Is it just 500 words per player or per character that would see entry into the participation raffle, and all in the same zone, or just throughout? -- 500 words per character, one ticket per player. This way you can use it for your own monthly token claim as well as the raffle since I will close these threads once they are completed. The word count does not have to be met in one zone, just throughout, to meet raffle requirements.
- If people hit 500 words and jump threads and hit another 500 words, does that count as one req or two?
-- Basically one thread per rp req, with an exit post in between, as long as the requirements are met, you can't just pop in and out of both of them simultaneously. So in simple terms, 'yes, each thread would count for a req but you must write an exit post from one before you can write an entrance post for the other'

The First Game Players, please roll ONE 20 Sided Die in a post to try to enter the room - ~ Anything 15 and above 15 gains entrance to the room. ~~ Once opened BY ANYONE’s lucky dice, everyone can enter the room. ~ Below 15 means the door stays closed. ~~ A second attempted roll can be made by each player after an hour for the dice to cool down.
OOC Info: There is no limit to how many times you can roll but it is suggested to give each dice roll a hour to cool down and to give others a chance to body slam the door too!

The closed door that permitted access to the staff quarters was presumably locked. It was with mild curiosity that one individual decided to take it upon herself to at least check to see if an unnamed employee might have forgotten to set the code on the door. Irkalla reached out out her hand and gently grasped the knob of the handle before giving a gentle twist downwards. There was a small hope that perhaps it would just be as easy as mentally saying "open sesame" and the door would magically grant access to what lay beyond. That hope, albeit small, was dashed the second that the squire heard the unmistakable sound of a rattling knob that refused to turn no matter how much effort she put into the motion.
'Perhaps another approach is needed. I wonder if there's a paper lying around with instructions on how to get through the door.'
Finding nothing of use in her small exploration of the space around, the squire glanced back at the door that was at the moment, mocking her attempts to get through. Figuring that maybe brawn would be a reasonable effort to use did she slowly back away from the door before bracing herself for the impact that was sure to follow.
Running towards the door at full tilt would have been a great plan if only she were a little bit more used to using her body as a battering ram. Irkalla winced as she struck the door to no effect, except the effect of moving back with a shoulder that now felt like it was on fire. Oh, why had that seemed like a good idea?
Stepping away from the door did Irkalla rub at her affected shoulder. Would she try that move again?

The simple act of ramming one's shoulder into the door after a running start was a bad idea. And yet the Cosmos squire was seriously considering performing the same motion yet again. However she was learning, and instead of running full tilt at the door once more Irkalla instead eyed the door. Where there any weak points one could weaken that would see the door miraculously pop open?
Pulling out her string of ornaments that was her weapon, Irkalla tried tying one end of the rope to the door and tugged hard on the other end. Maybe finding a lever to attack the hinges could also work.
One way or another she was determined not to let the door remain victorious.

Sigiriya had remained quiet as the crowd quickly grew around them, it was only once that Antares took the first few steps into the darkness that he decided to try for the door marked Staff Room. He wasn't the only one interested in it, just one other knight unless he missed his guess. Her outfit was very colorful and flowy so he might have been wrong on that one.
He watched silently as she tried the handle and then tried a cartoonish shoulder bash, neither of which worked. The rope thing was confusing but hey, if it worked it it worked... sadly it did not work so he stepped forward after one last glace at the darkness Antares had slipped into. "Here let me try."
When given access to the door he tried a combination of the first two things the other knight had; handle down and forceful shoulder slam. He could feel the door creaking but it still wouldn't budge. "Bloody hell, little s**t is really secure. I'm guessing they deadbolted it." He eyed the door, then the knight, specifically her shoes. "I know your in a dress and all but figure you can, like, curb stomp right about here?" Sig gestured to the door in the area he figured would work, "It always works in the movies at least."

Had all of her earlier motions in regards to getting the door open finally achieved something? Or was it only with the combined efforts of that other page that had finally weakened the resistance of the door enough? Whatever the case was, Irkalla found that the next time that she went at the door in order to get through it, seemed to have done the trick. The door finally yielded to her ministrations and she couldn't help but feel a little bit of pride in the effort before she winced. There were going to be repercussions of this little exercise it seemed. Even as she wandered through the now open door, did the squire deflate a little.
"Oh. This wasn't what I was expecting to find," she muttered under her breath as she glanced around at the room beyond, disappointment clearly displayed at the end result. It looked like the most normal of break rooms. Still, something persisted in her mind that at something wasn't on the up and up.
Why, nothing special. It's a break room after all. What did you expect?
Tables, chairs, cabinets, some lockers… There is even a fridge and a sink.
Best get to searching since there is no point to breaking in if there isn’t anything found!

Urania was apprehensive. What would they find there? And would she so readily be fooled again?
She had believed in what the sleep therapists were doing. She had thought they were experts in Earth sleep methods. She’d even fallen for the crystals. The crystals on her world were magic, so why couldn’t these be?
But Erytheia was right. She had trusted when she shouldn’t have.
Urania wondered what she would find in the staff room. Perhaps something incriminating. Something that would show who was behind this scheme. And why.
Erytheia was cautious moving into the staff room. For all he knew, it was a trap. Someone would be waiting for them.
His anxious (and, admittedly, sleep-deprived) mind moved through all the worst case scenarios. It was a Negaverse ambush. The place was booby trapped. They’d all be locked in — this time for good.
But none of those came to pass. Instead, he entered into a rather unassuming office. With piles of paperwork.
Irkalla had decided that she would at least try to give her shoulder a bit of rest. Her gaze watched as two other individuals entered to begin searching the room at large and she promptly joined them. Although she had another goal in mind as she crossed over to the fridge and opened the appliance to peer inside. Finding not what she was looking for the Cosmos squire instead began to open various cabinet doors in order to see if she could find something to dull the pain that was her shoulder. Tylenol would have been a blessing or ibuprofen but it seemed as if the cabinets wouldn't yield to her questing eyes either.
The idea of riffling through a locker was a little bit unsettling to the young woman but she sighed before crossing the room in order to at least check the lockers out. The need to be pain free overriding her normal thoughts of what she should and shouldn't do. But even as she opened the first locker and some papers spilled out did she bend down to retrieve them. She made a brief pass over the writing before actually noticing who was also in the room with her. Ooh, she recognized that individual. Still her voice was quiet even as she tucked the papers away,

Vanya really hadn’t meant to be out as Farbauti tonight, and he hadn’t meant to get himself embroiled in anything……like this. Amidst all the confusion going on inside of the……sleep lab? (apparently??), he felt pretty sure that the feeling like something gnawing on his nerves was what he got for deciding to stick his nose into something that had nothing to do with him.…… Except the presence of all the other senshi and Knights meant that it did have to do with Farbauti, who was also Vanya, so here he found himself, silently sneaking around all the others and trying not to think too hard about the coterie of Chaos auras radiating from somewhere nearby.
Skulking around, trying not to get noticed overly much, wound up with Farbauti finding his way into the Staff Room. Even though somebody else had cracked it open, part of Farbauti briefly balked at the idea of going into someone else’s staff room without accompaniment present—it was like walking into someone else’s home uninvited! the employees here had expectations of it being a safe space and who knew if they’d forgotten anything or not!!—but……a super senshi (Urania), the Knight equivalent of a super senshi (Irkalla), and a fully grown, radiant Knight (Erytheia) all went in ahead of him. And pursuing things that—judging from the chatter out in the other room—might have had something to do with the Negaverse? Clearly wasn’t the same thing as jumping off a bridge or anything else you might’ve heard in some Well, if all the other Order senshi did this objectively over-the-top and obviously stupid thing, would you do it, too? kind of nonsense. Jumping off bridges was stupid, and tangling with the Negaverse………also felt stupid a lot of the time, but it was, like, their entire job or whatever, so the If everybody else did this, would you do it too? principle didn’t apply.
(Thankfully, nobody was actually asking Farbauti a question like that. He……didn’t know how he would’ve answered or not. Unsatisfactorily, he was pretty sure.)
As he ducked into the staff room, Farbauti intended to go over to one or another of the people who’d gone in first, but……oh. Oh, okay, they all already knew each other. The two knights both had the mix of white and pastel rainbow gradients that tended to accompany Cosmos Knights, the Charmeleon-Of-Cosmos-Knights [as in, the middle stage of Knighthood] addressed the Fully Flourished Knight by name, and out in the other room, the Whole-a** Knight and the Super Senshi had talked back and forth like they knew each other.…… Farbauti didn’t want to, like, crash or interlope or anything when he’d already invited himself in here without checking to see if there was any semblance of a plan (mostly because there……hadn’t seemed to be one? out in the other area? but??? he didn’t know???).
He did know how to rifle through filing cabinets, though. And how to skim over information, such as what he was finding across pages in the first folder that he picked up. Farbauti wasn’t making much sense out of it just yet, but……diagrams, discussion of the crystals that this sleep lab (apparently) handed out to patients (which? how was that not super shady?? Negaverse aside, did anybody actually trust “magical crystal healing” scams in Destiny City to, like, NOT kill you or hurt you or otherwise do bad things??…… Well, some of the others had talked like they had believed it all, out in the other room, so apparently, yes, plenty of people did believe that, but…… Farbauti didn’t get it. Maybe he was just too much of a coward to understand).

How long did it take to get lunch? Really? To get it, and come back, and put it away in one of the lockers for safe keeping and then realize if he was going to be properly enjoying a Salazar's famous slathered, smothered, covered, smut sandwich with the works! Then he absodamnedlutely needed extra napkins and one of 7'11 Todds famous 'the ******** is wrong with you, be glad we don't judge here' drinks that was so syrup stuffed and energy boosted up that it practically glowed black through the styrofoam holding its sloshy contents.
The flavor was mystery, the contents were a rare find. He nearly dropped the entirety of the cup and its sloshing innards when he teleported with all the flair of a freshly born giraffe back into the room, only to stare in abject horror at the unwieldy chaos of numerous trash-bandits raiding the places, and chairs, and nooks and crannies. Riffling through some sort of papers like they held the numbers of the billion dollar winning lottery stub on 'em. The heck were they doing in here? Why were they trying to get into everything?
But most importantly of all --- *hAd They fOund hIs sandWich* -- He'd spent his first ever negabucks funded lunch money on that meal!!! The inhumanity, the immorality, the shock and scandal!! If he knew nothing else, he knew one thing was for certain--- His drink would have to wait (and he prayed not spill!) in subspace till he could finish it later. He had a sandwich to save!!!
"It's my godamned lunch break, what the actual hell people!? Can a man not eat behind a closed door in peace!!" his focus was aimless and so too was his ire, as all the decoration that lay etched into his flesh seemed to come free and take a drag at leashing down whatever it could get it's magical, cloying fingers into. His magic was always pissier and more wild without a meal to back it -- so too was its wielder.
All of Albites tattoos appear to tear from his skin, lashing him to his three nearest enemies. They weigh like chains, and can squeeze to the point of bruising. The magic in the tattoos creates the feeling of being choked and beaten by a heavy hand; giving an opponent the sensation of being driven down and short of breath. Albites opponents can still move/fight, but remain bound to Albite until the magic is ended, or the bonds severed. The tattoo tethers are still magical and so can draw no blood. No physical or lasting damage is done, unless the target’s player wishes it. The illusion ends after 25 seconds. In which the bindings vanish along with the sensations. With the door open Sig and the knight were quickly joined by a few others searching the rather sad staff room for anything that could be useful. It was a staff room, nothing special. Fairly typical. He wasn't really expecting to find anything really but he still checked.
The shelves came up with some interesting stacks of papers and he was in the process of carefully flipping through them when a few things happened nearly at the same time. First there was some commotion outside of the staff area that had him looking up and at the wide open door, second a guy with dreadlocks and tattoos just seemed to appear from no where yelling about his lunch break. Like, what???????
Before Sig could do anything more then just gape at the man said something and. His. Tattoos. Came. ALIVE! With more of a physical reaction then a mental one Sig's body did the only thing it could at that moment. It FLUNG the wad of paper in his hands at the man, sheets of paper fluttering every which way.
