Danaë would give a wave to Xanthe. However, she seemed to have missed her chance to introduce herself to her. Danae would get on the bike behind Narx. She was a little irritated that he bothered to heal such a small wound from the ravager, but there was nothing she could do to stop him in the end. She cuddled him the entire night.
They moved out, Danae keeping her eyes peeled. She had to admit, Atlas was beautiful. It was too cold to actually live here. She was glad she came on the mission with Narx. Then they would get near the facility. Danae would mention to Narx, and the others around. "There are bodies in the snow, be careful."
Danae was on vigil now. She had been paying attention, but this was new. It was a medical facility. The man would great them, but with bodies by the entrance, Danae was on guard, however, she couldn't show that. She would give a smile, making her voice sound chipper. "Afternoon! We would love to come into the warmth." She would then go and grab Rin's arm and position herself in such a way that only a faunus with base enhanced hearing could hear. "Have you heard of Morse Medial research facilities? Rub your ear if you have, Flatten your ears if you haven't" She would then go back over near Narx, watching for a sign.
Rin was glad the sun was bright at the very least and no clouds in sight; no snowstorms to bury them in snow was always a good thing. Clothes and natural adaptability in check, he still felt the chill of the place from the speed of their vehicles as they raced across the snow to the unknown. It had only been a day since they left, yet a pattern seemed to be emerging; travel on these things meant long and slow hours with little occurring. A blessing and a curse in a way; he was glad they weren't neck deep in fighting Grimm every step of the way but it made the travel rather dull. You could only spend so long being on edge and alert for Grimm before things grew a bit numb. They did see, in the distance, more Grimm though; a reminder that things could go frost bite quick if they took an interest. Right now though, it seemed the Grimm would need to get the jump on them to be a threat; he wasn't sure about the fastest land Grimm, but this should help them potentially outrun them. The flying ones they should be able to spot from miles away given the current condition of the skies. 'I wonder how aunt Monno and cousin Saki are doing? Are the skies clear at home like it is here?' the thought came a bit unbidden. While in reality it had not been long since he had been away, this was still the longest he had been away from the tribe. The snowy plains of Solitas just reminded him more and more of them, and with most people being silent for the ride there was little to keep his mind occupied. Besides the usual scenery and distant Grimm, Rin would notice big tracks in the snow. 'Maybe a mammoth Grimm he would think but was unsure on it. Snow, however old the tracks were, and the speed they were moving would make it hard to ascertain. He did not want to run into one of those big ones if it was, that was for sure; though he would prefer if they didn't encounter any other Grimm in the first place. That would be nice.
Soon, they went from open space to being surrounded by mountains. It created a feeling of encircling to Rin; like they were being hemmed somewhere by an outside force. He would shake the mind from his thought-err, thought from his mind along with the newfound daze he had. The time of inaction was making his brain go into subconsciousness for time to pass by faster. However, the next discovery did catch his attention; large holes in the ground. Not big enough to walk through, but big enough to crawl through. 'Maybe those weird bug Grimm? I hope not; those things creep me out,' he shuddered at the thought. Thankfully, they passed the holes with no unwanted residents coming out to greet them. Maybe they were natural and unrelated to Grimm; it would be nice not to have to worry about those holes on the way back. During such time, Xanthe would speak up; seeming to inquire about the holes. "It could be the bug Grimm holes; I forget what their names are. Hopefully not though," Rin would pipe up to answer her. After a while, nearing the time Rin's stomach would growl for food, they would round a bend and see something that resembled smoke. 'No, not smoke...Steam! That's what it is,' Rin would think as he identified it."'It seems wherever we are going has a hotspot nearby; that is steam there," he would say, pointing it out. Afterwards, he would dig into his pack and eat one of his rations while keeping one hand on the wheel. His stomach was not something to be ignored. Nothing more exciting would come up save a dull grey wall as they neared their destination. As they got closer, Danae would speak up; mentioning bodies in the snow. Rin felt a shiver go down his spine at hearing it; the dead were also something he was not the most comfortable with. It was strange though; the place they were going to seemed intact, so why where bodies outside of it? A question that could not be answered until they were closer. As they parked, once close enough, Rin could make out a figure behind the glass of the wall. Before any words were said between the figure and them, Xanthe would ask if everyone was good. Rin would merely give a silent nod for now; he was unsettled by the bodies and the situation, but he was able to hold it together for now. The guard, a man in Atlas military uniform now that Rin was focusing on him, would greet them enthusiastically. He would say it had been a long time since he had seen anyone new, and would welcome them in out of the cold as he seemed to do something. The large door down below would open then; and from the sound of things it did not seem like the door was opening regularly.
'This is...strange,' Rin thought to himself, not having heard of this place and not certain why someone on Atlas would still be so open and un-cautious. Sure, the Grimm were the real threat but the person did not ask them anything; just immediately let them in for arriving there. 'What kind of guard is he?' Rin wondered silently. It could be they were just cut off, and given what the Grimm did to Atlas, anything that was not Grimm was friend. But something still felt off; especially with the bodies. Xanthe would ask if anyone knew what this place was; Rin could only shake his head again. They were told of a potential settlement here, but seeing this vault and the bodies was giving him second thoughts. Danae would be the first to respond to the man speaking; greeting him in return and saying they would love to come in with a chippy voice. Rin was very much confused as to why before she would suddenly grab his arm; causing him to freeze in surprise and uncomfortableness as may've been evident on his face. He was about to try to pull his arm free when he heard her ask him if he heard about a Morose Medical facility, and to use his ears to indicate yes or no. Still unsure what was even going on, he would flatten his ears in response to her question as she would let go and move away. 'I think I jinxed it. It is becoming surreal quickly,' he thought to himself, confused like crazy. "Apologies in bothering you with questions, but what is this place exactly?" Rin would ask nervously, voice shaking slightly as he looked up to the figure. His eyes would glace to the open vault door and he was unsure why but he had a feeling of unease from it now. Especially if the only way to open it was from that guard post up there. He dare not ask about the bodies right now though; someone else could if they wanted to. If no one else answered Xanthe's question, he would mention that they were told to check here for a possible settlement but he was unsure what this place was. Too much information was being presented too soon for him to put together that Danae's question was referring to the structure before them.

Ylva would ignore the mated pair for now and merely nodded and went back to prepping to go after she got the answers needed. Having eaten a ration, filled a metal water canister with snow to melt with the remaining water within it, she would get be ready to ride with the others. The wolf reminding herself to make time to talk with the fox-boy next time they were settled since the senior students were neither approachable nor welcoming to conversation at all for anyone but themselves it appeared.
~Timeskip~
The ride was rather desolate aside from the mountains in the wolf-girl's opinion, though some might've said the same of the desert she called home; the biting cold seemed worse though. Obsidian eyes took in their surroundings through sun-protecting goggles, her ears and hair were covered by her hood at the time of their journey, and her tail wrapped around her lap under her coat to help with the cold. The long travel would be uncomfortable after a while for someone not used to driving/riding for so long, making her wish she could run, but she did not dare for now."I'll get to stretch when we stop again,"she told herself after what might've been an hour or so; if she read the sky right before the light changed due to the tall mountains that now surrounded them in ominous fashion.
Her teammate's shouting over the sound of the mobiles though had gotten her attention though and the wolf ventured a gaze to the so-called holes before looking back ahead while listening to Rin's retort. Honestly, she hoped they weren't Grimm-made either. They would then be greeted by something...someplace(?) in the distance not too long after. Frowning as they got closer, she looked around and frowned in disgust before they slowed to a stop just a yard from the large...Gates(?)."Fine. But, Keep your guards up,"Ylva replied to Xanthe's question, saying the second part under her breath in warning as she felt the hackles on the back of her neck rise."Predator,"Ylva instinctively thought, hand already rested back on Ulv Lofte; already not trusting of human males as it were. She too waited for the fox's response, looking to him and back to the gate."If he tries anything, I'll attack first...,"The wolf girl resolved while they waited for the eerie guard's response. A small, quiet snarl curving the right corner of her lips.

Narx was happy to finally get on the road. The sun was bright yet, the air was cold. Which felt so strange because he could tell his face was getting slightly sunburnt from exposure. He made sure to pull up his facemask as soon as he noticed. "So many..." he would say about all the grimm off in the distance. It was dreadful to think of getting caught out here without any transportation or equipment It would be hard to survive the elements much less grimm.
As they finally got closer to the mountainous area that had the target location he would start to feel excitement build up. The large holes in the ground perplexed him. A slithering snake grimm was his first thought. But he couldn't remember if that was a type here. He habitually popped some pills, his memory medication. If the Vale doctors were right his memory would begin to improve at some point. He hoped. "So many mysterious things here. You're right though Danaë, it is beautiful." It didn't take much longer to near the perimeter of the facility.
"Bodies?!" Narx frowned. What on earth. Why were bodies frozen outside. This was odd, but the guard welcomed them in without hesitation. Which Narx had to admit he liked. It seemed odd for Vale, but maybe this was just a happier kind of place?
Narx got out and seeing Rin eating a ration he pulled out one of his own. He would munch on it for a bit "Relax, I see you're a tad tense. I'm sure it's just a friendlier type of town. Like the rural areas around Vale. Or rather how they used to be." he said as he took another big bite of his protein slab. He said this to Rin mostly but also to Ylva since they both seemed on edge.
Narx would eventually hop back on his snowmobile with Danaë and drive it into the facility if they allowed it. Hoping to park it somewhere sheltered from the snow.
Profile: Profile Weapon: Gravityflux (Glaive/shotgun/double axes) gaia_angelleft Action: pursuing gaia_angelright ~~~------~~~-----~~~------~~~~~~------~~~-----~~~------~~~ Listening to those in the group so far, a few were certainly a variety of non early birds. Being an early bird herself, Sasselia was completing her side of packing things up, her hair being brought up into a bun once her stuff was packed. Hoping to keep more of her stuff better together attire wise, the young woman had kept her hair hidden under her hat, adjusting the scruff of her coat and clothes, heading outside towards their snowmobile, after making sure her boots were tight, pants had layers of long johns, and her ski mask and goggles were set into place. Over dressed she may have been, but Sasselia was taking extra precaution, in the case of keeping herself better on the warm side. Relying on her aura for keeping her warm was all fine and dandy, but at any point of time, who knew when a situation would occur, where she would have a need to use that aura for actual combat. An unknown territory such as this had her mind on overdrive, in attempts to keep her mentality somewhat ahead of the plate. "Prepare better... Prepare better..." Keeping the silent mantra to herself, she had approached herself back around Xanthe and Ylva. If either of them required assistance, she would have offered to help, all while having the management of trying to stay warm. From how things were sounding, the morning was gong to be taking another turn for them on venturing, and some unknown plans till the destination was reached. Nothing wrong with it all, she supposed. At least the ride to the location was pleasant for the most part... Or so she had believed.
There was the grimm out in the distances, all like beacons of potential danger to come their way. Among the cold air, and the lingering body temperatures of others on the venture, the only worries Sasselia had was towards any of those grimm potentially trying funny business. Good fortunes for them all that they remained where they were, almost like a perfect picture that needed a frame. The cold air brushing off her face here and there was the thing that made it all in remembrance the difference between reality and a painting of imagination. Sasselia wouldn't have the mind to at least enjoy the scenery for an all day excursion, had such a thing been the case. All good things had to have a catch in the end. Such a thing was brought into fruition by Danae, who spoke on seeing bodies. Unable to see them herself, such a thing brought forward a bit of apprehension, Surely this wasn't caused by the location they were heading to? Hopefully not. Her own visions of wonderment on this only lasted until the destination was drawing in their sights. With her leader calling out on tiny holes, calling them tiny caves in the process. Such a comment brought a small giggle from her, but their teammate didn't seem to feel the same sentiment, and understandably so. Hearing about bodies being reported was an issue that was going to of course bring forth some apprehension. Being asked on how good she was, her response had been a nod, and a reassuring smile from her end. "Other than a stiff back, nothing bad or harmful has o-occurred on my end~." Upon seeing Ylva so tensed, Rin was another who was looking to have some sort of tension on their own accord, which Narx was already taking care of on speaking towards. In regards to their arriving host, on the other hand, Danae was the first to speak on the warmth of thanks to the man, before looking to be rudely grabbing onto Rin without consent of the sort. Whatever reason that was for, Sasselia wasn't about to sit there wondering the exact details behind such brashness, but seeing she had distanced herself from the fox, either it wasn't important, something personal, or she was just doing something extra. Her current attention and importance as it were, was towards the man who had greeted them all upon arrival. Seeing as Xanthe and Rin were voicing questions about the location itself, Sasselia had one of her own, portraying to what Danae had reported earlier. "Thank you f-for granting us w-warm passage sir. I do hope i-it isn't too out of line, or me br-breaching into any potential c-c-confidential or classified information... But I must wonder about the bodies that my companion had reported spotting on our way inland to here. Is there any particular reason as to why there were bodies out there, and unclaimed to a better resting place? Anything out this far, I can only assess on m-my end that it could have to do with past transgressions, u-unless these are from a more recent phenomena? I would hate f-for that to be the reason..."
█ Ammo Type ▬ 20 Regular shotgun bullets & 8 dust bullets. █ Drawback▬ Sasselia has to manually change the shotgun bullets. It takes half of one post to reload.
Semblance:
█ *NAME ▬ Gravity Entrapment █ *AURA COLOR ▬ Royal Blue █ *DESCRIPTION Sasselia's semblance is a gravity and anti-gravity element by way of glyphs. She is able to flip the gravitational pull within the area of her glyphs to either lift things and allow them to float, or make things heavier, by way of making the gravitational pull increase in weight. It is a perfect semblance for trapping Grimm and enemies, though in order to make the glyphs, she must make physical contact with either her hand or her weapon, which allows her to channel her semblance through her bullets or glaive. When her glyphs are laid onto the battlefield, it takes one post for the glyph to be set: the glyphs white on first appearance. The glyph is activated the moment it turns dark blue in colour. Starting at level 0, she can make up to four glyphs, that are 5 meters (15ft) in diameter. Each level, the number of glyphs she can make, and set are increased but the sizes remain the same. Her glyphs are not invincible, as they can be taken down by humans a level or more stronger than her, or by those who exceed the 600-pound limit. The pressure of weight for each level is shown: - Level 0 - 150lb - Level 1 - 300lb - Level 2 - 450lb - Level 3 - 600lb
█ *LEVEL 1▬ (100-199 posts) The glyphs are a diameter 15ft wide.(5 meters) Sasselia is able to lay out six traps that last for four posts, unless broken early on. There is a three post cooldown once all her glyphs have been fired out. She cannot shoot out all glyphs in one go, but able to fire up to half the number of glyphs at a time. The glyphs can either: Gravity: Bring down 300 lbs worth of pressure onto objects or enemies.(Cannot hold anyone or objects over 300 lbs) Anti-gravity: Lift objects, grimm, or people up to 20 meters up in the air within the circumference. When the semblance count ends, the person in the trap slowly descends near the end of the count. She is able to keep the glyphs apart from each other by up to 20 meters.
█ *DRAWBACKS ▬ Nerve paralysis kickback on a art of her body. It is a rigid type of paralysis that makes her immovable for 2 posts when it kicks in. This takes effect after every semblance usage for two posts. ▬ When using glyphs, she must use her weapon as a beacon, or fire a bullet with her semblance channeled onto it to help her point and aim her glyphs for summoning. ▬ The glyphs cannot be moved when created until level 3. ▬ She cannot move objects exceedingly over 600 pounds. ▬ Her glyphs can be neutralized or destroyed by any enemy exceeding 600 pounds, or by enemies one level above herself. --- Sasselia has to choose the effect on whether there is going to be gravity or antigravity set in the glyph before firing. ------- To break her glyphs, those above her current level can easily use their aura to break the glyph. Those on Sasselia's level or lower, it takes 2 posts of focusing aura to break the effects effects. Those with enhanced, or above average strength in skill have a more high resistance.
"Why this is the town on Morose! The happiest and healthiest place in Remnant! It started out as a research centre built upon a hot spot." He cupped his hand to his mouth as if telling a secret. "Great way to save on the heating bill." Then he dropped it and carried on. "Soon the researcher's families started moving out here then business followed and it blossomed into our wonderful town!" He kept glancing up, just above the glass as he answer the question. Ylva in particular would get the sense he was reading a script possibly taped to the wall just above the glass window. He gave a grave shake of his head at Sasselia's question, "Criminals. When resources got tight the fine town of Morose could no longer afford to give to those who were locked up, not contributing anything, or were caught stealing more than their share." The smile swiftly returned to his lips. "Best not to dwell on such dark affairs! As long as you obey the laws you don't need to worry about all that!"
As Narx zoomed ahead with Danae, he would find himself in a sort of stable yard for vehicles. Snowmobiles were parked installs with snow covers on top of them. Another guard in an Atlas uniform appeared, directing Narx, (and the others if they follow him) where to park. "Welcome to Morose!" He said, equally as cheerful as the guard they had met outside the gate. "Come inside and get warmed up! Can I get you anything? Tea? Coffee? Hot chocolate?" He asked while leading the way to a door. Once through, those that followed would find themselves in a strange sort of living room. A break room for the guards perhaps? Even the more observant people could tell everything was worn. The flooring had lost much of its pigment and it was easy to see what areas got the most foot traffic. The paint needed touching up on the walls and the tables and chairs were well 'loved'.

Xanthe Shaw
While Xanthe had wondered about the bodies too, asking the first person they met about them hadn't been her first idea. She was thinking of taking it to the top and punching them until they revealed some sort of truth. A confession of sorts as it was clear as day they were victims. She reached out and touched Sass's hand, shaking her head slightly when she caught her attention. This was clearly going to require more tact than asking outright and they shouldn't pick holes in this 'criminal' story until the guy with the door codes had let them all inside the walls. There was a party of her that understood the frontier justice way of thinking, it was the same part that was gunning to make them pay. "I'll drive the snow mobile inside, you scope the place out." She had glanced inside the tiny guard room and quickly deemed it worse than the cold, and that was saying something. "Make sure he doesn't play some sort of hilarious prank and lock us out." She trudged back the way she had just walked, eying the walls for any other sort of guard, if they were up there then they were smart enough not to stick their heads over the edge. She contemplated driving back to check the bodies for a second, see how armed these 'criminals' had been before they had been exiled to certain death, but in the end what did it even matter. The people of Morose had chosen to kill them. She drove the vehicle inside the gates and over to where they had been directed by another guard. She pulled in behind Narx, the inside thick with fog making the idea of wandering off in search, well anything, a bad idea. After parking and collecting her pack, she proceeded to make her way back towards the guard post and the rest of the group.

"Happy and healthy sounds better than out here!" Narx was quite happy to just get out of the cold. The criminals explanation was more than enough. Truth is, times were probably harder than the guy let off with his tone. It made sense to eject criminals and keep them out as a warning. Especially when bodies didn't rot fast in the cold. It's not like they'd leave a bad odor or anything when frozen.
Narx would follow the ATlas guard after they parked. It was nice to have people to show them around. The chaos of Fort Reed made you feel all alone. Very little attention was paid to the students beyond showing them to their quarters and calling them for missions. "Hot Chocolate sounds wonderful!" Narx would look to Danaë with a big smile on his face.
"Let's warm up, and maybe figure out our plan once we've had a meal in us." Narx would say aloud. Hoping that they could have a good nights rest before eventually returning to report their findings. Narx would be oblivious to the worn state of the room, but would plop down on a couch and relax. He wondered if the leader would meet them soon. They could still get turned away.
Ylva would only look to the older boy with a dark-eyed stare of scathing bemusement when he had the nerve to tell the faunus to calm down. Looking to the guard, it would seem his smile was as false as his greeting; his answer displeased her, even if it would make sense; her tribe banished those that had commit serious offense to brave the sands rather than slay one of their own outright."Says the sheep that enters the wolf's den,"She retorted coldly enough for him to hear before he rode in and her attentions were to listen to her teammates; silently promising to keep her guard up. Though they too seemed to think it better to enter the daunting cage than to wait out in the cold."In to the cage we go,"she thought with a sigh before looking to Rin with a silent question before riding the mobile in.
Goggles lifted, she would take down her hood so as to allow her wolf ears to perk up and twitch once they had stopped and parked. Her tail would rest behind her once more with a full-body stretch. Keeping her weapons at her back, she would not allow any to come near them without a glower from eyes dark as the abyss, the aura of one on guard. When asked if she wanted anything, she curtly shook her head."I have my own water."Ylva wasn't one to make a mistake twice...One time was enough as she followed the rest of her group inside. The scent of the frequently used and well-loved room, aside from a fire, was scented with age...unpleasant but, not surprising with the desertion and hardship Morose must have been through over the years. Still, she was unsettled for one reason or another. If not stopped, the wolf would walk to sit before the fireplace and slowly remove her scarf; the clinking of metal against metal sounding under any chatter.

Unlike most in the group, Narx was at ease at the current situation it seemed. He went as far to eat a ration and comment that Rin should relax, that this place was comparable to a friendlier type of town like Vale used to have. Rin wished he could share that sentiment but something very much felt off about this whole situation, and the nagging feeling could not be removed. Rin chose not to respond to the suggestion for now, awaiting a response from the guard above to his posed question. He would also hear Sasselia pipe up to ask about a question weighing on most of their minds; the bodies on the ground. Rin was not sure it was the wisest thing to ask, but he would be lying if he said he had not been close to asking it himself. She was far braver than him to pose it already. The guard would speak up then, explaining that this was supposedly the happiest and healthiest place in Remnant. A casual glance at the bodies in the snow seemed to contradict that in Rin's mind, but he would wait for the man to finish before even thinking about responding. The man seemed very...cheerful and animated, as if the world were not grim in the slightest. It reminded Rin a little of how a kid would be, surprisingly. He explained how it went from a research place to expanding as more people came as well. Strangely, though, the way he worded things made it sound like this became a town even before the fall of Atlas. At Sasselia's question, he would explain they were criminals though his description of criminal had a worrying implication. While locked up for crimes and stealing seemed like crimes, the mention of not contributing did not seem locked to prisoners alone. 'If you don't contribute, you get cast out to die?' he thought, finding it morally wrong even if he could understand a bit why with limited resources. Another question popped into his mind then. 'If resources are scarce, why are they letting more people in? Do they expect us to work here or offer something to them?' Rin pondered silently but did not voice any of this. For all he knew he was jumping at shadows and making a mountain out of a snowdrift. Worryingly, it seemed Narx was the one taking initiative to go in; the most oblivious of the mood of them all. He seemed happy and completely at ease to go; Rin sincerely hoped this was a guise and the man was sharper than he was letting on to the current atmosphere. 'Hopefully Danae shall set him straight if not,' he compromised, since she had gone on guard like the rest of them from what he could tell. He noted a look from Ylva but could only shake his head as it seemed they had no other options but to go in. Going onto his snowmobile, his eyes lingered on the bodies. 'At least if the bodies are out here, they aren't likely to be cannibals,' he thought quietly as he slowly drove in following after the others. As they would begin to park and gather, another cheerful guard would appear; acting as a parking guide and escort for the time being. He would welcome then in, and offer to get them anything. While the drinks were mildly tempting, the feel Rin had received from outside had not dissuaded once in. As he began to lead the others to a door, Rin would purposefully hold back slightly to investigate the stalls for vehicles that were not theirs to see if he could find any clue on how often they were used or if they were different types of them. That done, he made sure to bring Wakana in his violin case with him along with his own rations/water and all his dust that was not attached to the vehicle. The bare minimum, and he hoped he wouldn't need to resort to his weapon, but he did not feel comfortable without something in case the ill feeling proved right.
Catching up with their group as quick as he could afterwards, he would see they were all in a break room of sorts; one that apparently saw a lot of use. He wondered if it was restricted to just guard or communal with the rest of the people; it dawning on him that despite them calling it a city, he had no clue how much area was for living and how much was for research. Given how close this was to the front door though, he guessed it was maybe more for guards. 'I am not sure if it is reassuring that this place seems well worn or an ill omen,' he thought uncertainly. Of course, Narx immediately accepted the offer of hot chocolate and sat down, saying they could plan more after a nice meal. Rin would give a passing look to Danae to see how she was taking this and her boyfriend seeming so at ease and trusting. 'I sincerely hope that Narx is right to be at ease and we are just overreacting,' Rin silently prayed. He would be ecstatic about reading everything wrong. Choosing to seat himself in the corner of the room, Rin would nervously grip tight to his violin case as he awaited...well...anything that may happen next. For some reason, his mind was going to a movie where people were led to a sealed room and then got knocked out by gas and he found himself subconsciously holding his breath.
Wakana Scroll Bag filled with some rope, climbing tools, snow/ice traveling shoe accessories, rations, water, fire starter kit, and a GPS thingy they were given. Snow goggles and face veil. Snowmobile packs: packs strapped to each one with insulated tents for the cold, rations kits (9), kerosene lamps and thermopacks(10) that would keep them warm once activated
Dust:
Large (6): 3 Pale blue, 2 Purple, 1 Red Small (16): 4 Red, 4 White, 4 Cyan (one on each side of snowmobile except the left side), 4 Blue
Outside the guard in the reinforced box looked at Sasselia and Danae, who had yet to follow the rest inside. "Are you going with your friends?" He asked the two girls. "I can't keep the door open all day!"
"One hot chocolate!" The second guard repeated cheerfully, before looking at Ylva. "Are you sure? Water won't warm you up from the drab cold out there! I'll be back in a jiffy!" He disappeared through a door, where the sounds of running water, cupboards opening and closing and cups being moved could be heard. Really the sounds one would expect to hear, it didn't seem like he was doing anything other than prepping the drinks. Despite only Narx accepting the offer, after a few minutes, he returned with a tray holding five steaming mugs. He placed a steaming mug in front of Narx, Ylva, Xanthe and Rin, before sitting down and taking the last for himself. "That's better." He said taking a sip from his mug. "Where did y'all come from? It's been a long time since we've had visitors here!" Then suddenly he slapped himself on the forehead. "I forgot to introduce myself! Forget my head if it wasn't attached! Officer Pillbody at your service!"

Xanthe Shaw
Xanthe entered the room behind the others, joining up with Rin who had stayed behind to inspect their vehicles, in her case she had just been trying to catch shapes of something in the fog but had given up. "Notice anything weird?" She asked quietly before they entered, it seemed unlikely that the people of Morose mounted people's heads on their cars, but there was a slight unease about the place. Xanthe had somehow managed to miss her chance to respond to the guard about drinks but would have declined along with Ylva. He was on his way to the backroom as she popped the hood of her coad down and moved moved over to the fireplace to join Ylva in getting warm. "Still have hot chocolate to share?" She noted aloud, coffee and tea were a bit out of the ordinary for a settlement in the middle of the icy north. She looked at the fire for a moment her finger outstretched to collect the warmth. The clattering of cups on a tray brought her back to earth as she blinked a few times and moved her hands together.
The guard presented them with mugs which Xanthe took merely out of politeness. She might have been a voracious eater back home, but this was enemy territory until proven otherwise and so she would be abstaining from the brown goop she had been presented. Well, the enemy thing and the fact it looked vile. Perhaps hot chocolate had been an overstatement or signs of dementia, but the boiled mud she had been presented was not something she wished to actually drink. She did nurse the heat out of the mug though, that was to be acquired at every opportunity. "We're from down south, making a push to seize Atlas back from the grimm. Xanthe Shaw, pleased to meet you." She felt this was significantly vague and the others could add additional things if necessary. It was hard to dislike the guard but at the same time he probably wasn't the person in charge and this was all going to be repeated again to them. "Your settlement was marked as a POI. Would it be possible to meet your... mayor?" She hazarded a guess at what a research centre might call their leader and settled on the least likely.

Danaë would come into the facility, and sit next to Narx. He would order a hot chocolate, and she would just rest her head on his shoulder. Everyone other than Narx was on edge. They needed to be less visibly cautious. She would give a small sigh. "I would love to have some tea." Her voice was still cheery. Narx would see this as weird, as she was more of a coffee drinker. Once the tea was in front of her, she would smile, waiting for the ta to steep a little, because she quickly moved the tea bag, into her sleeve. It was curious, tea wouldn't be native in such a cold place as this.
He would then introduce himself. She would give a smile and then introduce herself. "Danaë Hallþóra Svéd, daughter of the Minister of Faunus affairs in Vale, it's nice to meet you." She didn't like to drop her mother's name, but making herself seem important could work in their favor, or it could make the owl a target. Either way, Danaë had said it to get more information. Atlas only fell 6 or 7 years ago...they may have heard of it. She still had the lovely smile on her face. She would then try to eye for Ylva to sit next to her.

Profile: Profile Weapon: Gravityflux (Glaive/shotgun/double axes) gaia_angelleft Action: pursuing gaia_angelright ~~~------~~~-----~~~------~~~~~~------~~~-----~~~------~~~ The problem with being in new places consisted with the unknown information to things. The people, customs, and laws were of the unknown. Sasselia had read only upon the terrain of Atlas and Morose from the few bits of information form books in the academy library. There was never a full expectation on arriving to Atlas ever, and with the surprise around the corner, there hadn't been much time on gaining some more formal knowledge. The bodies themselves in question may have come off as a poor move possibly by others, but due to everything being out of her elements, Sasselia had to resort herself to another way to possible learn things. Having ulterior motive on her end, asking the foolish question was not only a way to test the waters, but to bury a few of her cards into her sleeves. Blind innocence was a better card than a suspicious, paranoid observer. She was no actress by any means of course, but there was no harm in trying to play off as curious in order to see what could have been brought forward. A double-edged sword the move may have been, as she was unable to see the change of tone, but the young human could only hope that whatever they had replied with, that someone else may have picked something off it that she couldn't hear or see herself. All she could go off of was the fact that criminals were the people in the snow, for breaking the laws. Having no choice but to take the answer, she had bowed her head politely, only to be catching her attention towards Xanthe. Seeing the shark was shaking her head, the look in her eyes to her team leader was in a hopes they would understand what she was trying to do. "I swear I am not asking out of sheer displeasure.." Whether the faunus noticed or not, nothing was certain for now, as Sasselia was told alongside Ylva to pretty much keep their attentions on high, to stay alert. "Course," she was replied back in a low voice, craning her head up to the place itself.
Seeming to be looking up for longer than intended however, her eyes lowered to the man holding the door, asking about them coming in or not. "S-sorry sir!" Hurrying in after the others, there was remembrance towards the offering of beverages, and the chance of warmth, which had beckoned her in with some reassurance that the cold was temporarily going to lay to rest for now on the other side of the walls. A plus side to the negative worries. Just what was this room they had brought them towards? Better yet... How Narx was able to stay so calm and care free on all of this was a notation worth trying to follow, even just a little. Not to his extent, but the strangers couldn't, and didn't have a need of knowing the mixed emotions of all among the group. Putting on the armor was a just cause of caution all on its own. Working off of Narx's own commentary could prove to be an asset on top of it all to make things seem like they weren't just a little... Or even an attempt to go on with it at least... "I can stick with this.." Taking a mental rest of her own worries for now, Sasselia focused upon the surroundings for them all. Xanthe, Rin, Narx, and Dane had the vehicles and everything else already looking to be covered as it was. She could take the chance to look around the room itself as other were, to take notes of her own to herself. Most noticeable traits were the conditions of the floor, which gave sign to many who have crossed through here as a possibility, or the cleaning and conditions were of the lacking side. That much could be said, considering the conditions of the furniture in place, and the paint upon the walls itself. Deciding to take one of the unoccupied spots towards the chairs of choice, she settled herself as comfortable as she was able, having decided on the tea like Danae had. Tempted to ask for a tea like Danae had, she wasn't the least bit thirsty, with the provided warmth being enough for her. As such, he had only brought enough for four of them as it was, and she wasn't about to ask the man to get up and make more for them. What Sasselia thirsted for as it were, was the knowledge she could pick up and memorize by simply listening. Was Rin doing the same, from being in the corner of the room? Any possibility of it would have been a blessing, for a chance to exchange anything later as information, as well as picking up on the idea of the food that Narx had brought up. "F-food sounds delightfully splendid for an idea." With the way this was all picking up so far, Danae and Xanthe were more willing to be chatting with the man, who introduced himself finally as Officer Pillbody. Both these women had different hind sets, which Sasselia grasped onto Xanthe's question about the mayor, simply observing in polite and semi-calm silence to see what the answer would have been. As for Danae's approach, she had decided to drop in her mother's honorifics... Which could be taken in may directions. Given the over-happiness of this officer, there was calculation he was most likely going to answer the owl with extra honey of words about the whole thing. Surely these people weren't about to be thinking that the group was too open about who they were. That could lead to mishap and extra complications if everyone was going to be possibly saying too much. They knew nothing much of this place to be just exchanging information so casually. Looking to Rin then, she nodded her head in reassurance to him, before looking towards the fire to where her team was sitting, respecting Ylva's wishes on keeping her own drink she had already on her. Very resourceful, she was. As for Xanthe's drink, it looked a bit like the one that Narx had received, which she was silently glad she wasn't one to drink hot chocolate to begin with. With that being said, she remained on standby, focusing on her warming her hands more.

"Nice to meet you Officer Pillbody, and I apologize for any lack of manners we have. We've traveled quite a distance to get here and were ambushed by Sabyrs during the night, but as my friend Xanthe has said, we're here on a mission to make sure this settlement was alive and well." Narx was down half his hot chocolate. It was still incredibly hot but it didn't seem to bother him. Narx remembered that this mission was to also investigate how the settlement survived, and whether or not they were hostile or friendly to Vale's mission of retaking Atlas. Unfortunately none of them had thought much about how to approach this topic and only now was Narx realizing he may have already said too much. It made sense to first see how much information they could gather before getting kicked out if they were hostile. Though he could not imagine anyone not being for their plan. He lifted a hand to his head as he felt a headache coming on. He couldn't think this hard on the spot. "In the end, I hope we can spend a day or two here before we try and return home with a report. We are tired." Narx wanted to at least guarantee some time for them. If they could get to a private room to strategize that'd be even better. His teammates were all too obviously suspicious and distrusting of the place. This would get them nowhere if they were going to conduct a proper investigating. Though Xanthe seemed to keep their cool just fine.
He looked to Danaë with an odd look when she ordered tea. Funny for her to change her order up, but not even he noticed her sneak the bag away.
"I would rather not meet your mayor or whoever is in charge until after we have rested. Do you have guest chambers?" This seemed to be the best move for them, and hopefully the request seemed perfectly normal. Narx would down the second half of his hot chocolate and then his eyes would drift to Xanthe's. Clearly he noticed she wasn't drinking it and he wanted to finish it off if she wasn't going to. No point in wasting good hot chocolate.
