Band of misfits, indeed. When Carnallite joined, she was not expecting… this.
She remained close to Bloodstone, observing their surroundings as she went. There was something pooling along the ground, dark and slick, with a putrid smell. Carnallite found more of it smeared along the walls and reached out a cautious hand, working the grainy feel of it between her thumb and first two fingers.
Only seconds away from bringing Bloodstone’s attention to it, Carnallite was interrupted by the loud crack, clanging metal, and sharp cry. She turned too late to determine the cause of the commotion, but assumed it had something to do with the General King’s sudden disappearance. That she could still sense his aura was a reassuring sign, but that it quickly grew distant was decidedly not.
Avoiding as many of the rocks as she could, Carnallite glanced at Bloodstone again and said, “This doesn’t bode well.”
Cymophane tried. He thought Kamacite could use the distraction (and also because he was interested, but it was mostly to keep Kamacite from freaking out about where they were and what they were doing), but the Rift, despite being relatively kind to them so far, did not seem inclined to continue being kind.
They probably should have expected as much. They didn’t go into this assuming there’d be little to no danger.
“I’m okay!” Cymophane reassured Kamacite. He let the other Senshi take his arm and had nothing against being dragged to safety. Kamacite had far more experience than he did, after all. “Are you okay?”
He glanced back the way they’d come, spotting the Corrupt Senshi he and Kamacite had been walking with before. Taenite was his name, wasn’t it?
I don’t have anything against Axinite, Aquamarine argued. I was just pointing out that he’s being weird and sent the rest of us in first, which may or may not be good for us pawns if we’re attacked, depending on where it comes from. I was hoping you weren’t oblivious and actually noticed.
No sooner were the thoughts out of his head and through the earrings than Jet pointed out the oil. Aquamarine glanced at the ground, then the walls, making a face at the smell.
Like hell was he going to touch that s**t, even if doing so might help them determine what it was.
The attack, when it did come, came from behind.
Clearly, Aquamarine should have given Axinite more credit, but it could have just as easily been his shitty luck rather than intentionally placing himself in the way of danger.
He got only a brief look at the creature that did it, enough that he knew it was large, and it was responsible for both the rock fall and Axinite’s disappearance, but it was gone too quickly for Aquamarine to notice anything more than ********>,” he joined Jet in his cursing, ducking out of the way of a few rocks and shoving Jet out of the path of another one when it seemed like Jet didn’t notice it.
A large hole in the ground remained where Axinite had just been. Axinite’s energy signature, while still present, seemed to indicate they wouldn’t be able to pull him out of it so easily.
After assuring himself that Jet was okay, Aquamarine stared around for a moment and tried to figure out who was in charge now. Eventually, once they’d avoided a few more rocks, he said, “Not it!” and slapped a hand against Jet’s back.
“You’ve been a General longer than me. I give you my unquestioned loyalty.”
Eveite could tell that she wasn't going to be of much use here. She had confidence in her balancing skills, but whatever had made the nice, HUGE claw marks in the rocks around here would be able to flick her and she would crumble.
Maybe they used lieutenants as sacrifices/distractions? Whatever the case, before they could really do anything, there was a noise, something clearly behind all of them, and the rocks were now collapsing around them, with their dear General-King having fallen into a hole in the ground.
She sighed. "Well, at least if I die here then no one has to bury me. The rocks are going to do that on their own." She mumbled to herself as she decided to move forward. Maybe if she was lucky, she would only be crushed instantly instead of a painful slow death? Of course she hoped that death wouldn't be something that would happen to her here, but she couldn't help but feel like this was a bit of a trap.
Versailles was about to agree out-loud with Cybele that the area did in fact, appear to be dangerous, though he felt that it was a bit obvious and wondered if he should nickname her Eternal Corrupt Obvious, but didn't have any time to. There was clearly something lurking in the shadows, whatever had made the claw marks most likely, and suddenly everything went to chaos, and it wasn't until they had a moment to think that they could tell what had happened.
"Now we get to enjoy falling rocks. Didn't expect that at least." He expected more Youma to be attacking, but this was dangerous enough for him. "We'll need to keep going. I'm sure that whatever attacked and wherever Axinite fell to, we'll find him." He took a quick look at the giant hole that was now in front of them. "I guess we could jump in there, but who knows how long it goes and whether we could even land properly." He would have tested it by throwing a rock down there, but it could land on the General-King and not make a sound, or else it would just be drowned out by the noise of the other rocks and Agents in the area that were now attempting to move forward.
He had traveled with the Youma and the Lieutenant and they had eventually all gone to the spot where Axinite was, along with everyone else who made it. Not a surprise. And he almost wanted to roll his eyes at what the General-King had said. The rift, dangerous? What a surprise! He didn't but he really wondered about how they worded things at times.
There wasn't much time to do anything though as something decided to come after the group and the General-King fell into darkness. Chambersite felt like yelling down and asking if the dark hole that Axinite had fallen into was dark, but he knew it wasn't time to be sarcastic, especially with a General-King.
He turned to his two "companions". "I'm assuming we're all moving forward. Whatever this part of the rift is, I'm sure we'll make it to this missing Lieutenant if we keep going forward."
Indigo_Plateau
I did a reply! These two can stay with him if you want!
General Arsenopyrite They had managed to arrive in one piece, though it didn't appear to have taken that long, making Arseno wonder why they had split in the first place. He didn't have time or the brain energy to think about it, as he decided to keep all of the energy that he could into just making sure that he wouldn't be a burden to their group. He didn't have to wait long for something to snap him awake a bit longer as there was an attack and Axinite was now missing.
And rocks were falling too. Like some sort of D&D scenario where the DM just wanted the game to be over.
He looked at the others, he was sure that they would all continue forward. "We need to get moving. The sooner we get away from here the better. Or at least I don't think we'll have to deal with getting crushed to death by rocks."
((Will fill this in sorry!)) - Taiyangshou is clueless and I have to brb to write this out sorry!

General Lopezite
As soon as the rocks began to fall above, Lopezite grabbed Alpersite's arm and hurried him forward and out of the way of the debris. He knew Axinite was behind them, but when he turned he didn't see him.
...A part of him thought he should worry about the General King--who was only human, no matter how much power he had--but the concern ebbed fairly quickly. He probably wouldn't have made it to the rank of General King if he was fragile, and there had been no scream on the way down, had there?
...Keeping Alpersite and the rest of the agents alive was the more pressing matter. Axinite was sturdy, but Feldspar? He was only a lieutenant, and might badly need aid. They'd have to pass through on the way back; so far as he could tell, this was the only way back out. They could always make sure he was alright then.
"Are you hurt?" he asked Alpersite, giving him a quick look over when he was certain they were out of the way of the debris.

The energy storm crackled again above them and the last of the rocks fell from the cliff walls above them. There was no movement from the hole Axinite disappeared into, but there was suddenly an overwhelming energy signature from above them.
The great pile of debris made it difficult, but not impossible, to cross from one side to the other. It may have been easier for some to jump over, or for some to climb or push, but one thing was certain--they’d agitated something.
Above the mound, huffing in great breaths, the form of a dark, blue youma rose. It was a fierce looking thing that stretched its claws wide--four symmetrical claws, completely capable of scratching the cliff face up to three inches deep, and with such long arms, easily explained the three foot lengths. Its head appeared almost horselike, but it had a tail with four foot long spikes that danced wildly behind it.
It’s feet were cloven, no doubt of great assistance when climbing the rocky terrain, and its body seemed to ripple with sheer muscle mass.
It watched them with white, glassy eyes that seemed to spark as much as the crackling chaos electricity above them--and then it roared, with such ferocity that a few more rocks were knocked loose and plummeted below. The noise was horrible, painful in the best case scenario but deafening in the worst.
It was already sliding down the mound of debris it had landed on.
There was no recognition in its face; it was territorial, and did not seem to appreciate the intrusion--Negaverse Agent or otherwise, it gave no indication it would obey any command--which meant there was just one option left: destroy it.
Quote:
Though a wall of rocks now separate the two parties, it can be climbed. The youma is approaching the group that is headed deeper down the path. For group nearest to Axinite, there is no telling how far or how deep the hole is, or if it is even possible to recover him. His energy signature is present, but distant.
Moreover, the energy signature of a Lieutenant--no doubt Feldspar--has sparked nearby. It is fleeting and faint, but close enough that it’s clear he is there. The path through the cliffs doesn’t appear as if it could go on for much further, but the sudden arrival of this youma is certain to put a damper on any rescue mission.
Please include your character’s name and rank in bold font at the top of the post! Please also quote the mule if you are interested in your character taking any damage by the youma. This can be minor or major damage, at your own discretion! Please also quote the mule if you are attempting to attack the youma or take any other action that would require mule response. The youma seems to be heading towards first stage characters!
Please try to fill out posts as you go; there is no penalty for missing a prompt and players are welcome to join at any point in time. The next prompt will be posted in ~48 hours! If you are entering the Concept Contest, please make sure to have your entry in by tomorrow night!

Lt. Peridot
This. Youma. Was. Infuriating.
Peridot didn't hesitate, despite her discomfort, however, to plan to move.
When Peridot took on power? It was decidedly so she could protect her family from the Senshi invasion; to let her husband do science in privacy, and comfort. When he introduced her to hisd daughter froim another woman in teenhood and learned the poor girl wasn't allowed the choice to call him her father as a girl because she was raised by her mother, her blood had boiled and trhe gears of thought began to turn, dark and horrific, deadly. She would feed that woman to the Negaverse, she would gfive that starseed to a General-Sovereign herself. There was no gentle whisper of concience -- the woman plainly hurt her daughter and Peridot was already considering the woman, grown or not, close in age or not, her daughter. And that?> Meant she would kill the b***h. But she needed poractice.
She needed hands to help and hands to rely on for such a vicious retaliatory strike, and to do that, she had to do a good job.
They were on a mission.
Peridot moved for Feldspar's signature. This was what Axinite wanted from them and Peridot was damned determined to deliver, the agent moving briskly. Refleces that benefit her as a lounge singer benefit the limber young woman as she moved, prepared to climb and dig and with the conviction to do her part, moving as swiftly as possible.
C. Sailor Ferris
It was big. Big, terrifying, and horrific. Ferris huddled in to herself for a moment, watching as everyone began to move, and trrhe corrupted senshi finally sighed. She wasn't going to reach Feldspar, she was on the wrong side of the divine and the corrupt couldn't help but feel she failed again. Ferris withered some,, frowning as she slowly and methodically tried to think. And for her, clear thought came with difficulty without outside input.
It fell like snoiwflakes in her mind. Scattered, fleeting, delicate, ephemeral. It lay gently, trying to form as layer in her mind before at last a spark, like ligfhting flint and steel for a campfire in winter, sprouted and the thought flowed.
She suddenly moved, as ever dishevelled and broken but determined not to let her General-King or Cafetite down any longer and the senshi moved like an eruption, lunging and swiping at the youma with an ungodly, unnatural, violent screech, mind racing.
Kill it. Help. Kill it. Helop.
The wordfs bubbled in her mind effervescently, bubbles of thought landing on the blanket of snow in her mind that sealed the concept, if a little.
Fight, kill, protect./ Fight,. kill, protect.
Sami-Fire
Cafetite Ferris needs sat on.

Both of my ladies can be injured! Feel free to gho brutal so long as nobody dies. Axinite can probably help anyone maimed it'll be fiiiine. XD
Sylvite got distracted, just for a few seconds, by the fact that what had just looked like crystal sheen on the walls appeared to be some kind of magic goo. She was poking at that, super thankful for her gloves, when everything shifted.
Literally.
At least, the floor was rumbling and rocks were falling way to close for comfort. Sylvite had to stumble-sprint out of the way to avoid getting squished, and then to catch up with the group. It wasn't some short lived thing, either. The rocks kept coming and coming. Her breath caught. She was weaving in and out as best she could.
Then, half the ceiling collapsed.
She saw the youma peeking out from the other direction. She saw a few people running to attack it already, and yeah, she understood that, this one wasn't going to see reason. It was so big, though. She needed some advantage. Anything.
Seeing a pile of fallen rocks, she scrambled upwards for some height and she summoned her knives.
Cybele glanced back towards where Axinite had fallen through, jaw tensing. Logically, she knew they likely should go after him. A General-King was more important to the Negaverse than some Lieutenant. Still, the thought of jumping down some hole after him sent a chill down her spine, and made her breath quicken in a way she could not explain.
"I don't-" she murmured, but the rest of her thought was cut off by the rockfall getting worse. Within a few seconds, much of the pathway was blocked off, which made that decision easier.
She wasn't surprised to see the youma. She wasn't surprised that it attacked. It was larger than she'd expected. That was all.
"Careful," she said to Versailles, stepping half a pace in front of him. "I'm not sure if this thing will be impressed by your trinkets." It was enraged, and as senshi, they were easy targets.
"Hunter's Strike!" she called out, wanting to use her strongest magic before the beast got too close. She drew the ethereal bowstring and released a flurry at it.
SSBrosB
The Space Cauldron
Eternal Sailor Attack: Hunter's Strike An ethereal bow forms in Cybele's hands. Five arrows form this time, and now she can use them to hit enemies. She can aim at a single enemy with a range of 15 feet. They will have no effect on people within five feet of her, however. The arrows will spread out over a small area of about two feet in diameter. It's mostly a single target attack, but could possibly hit two people with a little timing. It's somewhat hard to aim a bow with five arrows on the string, though. If they hit, they will do about as much damage as a dart, including scratches, pricks, and slightly more serious stabs. It could be fairly serious depending on where they hit, though. The aim on this attack is not great, at best one or two will hit the main part of the body. The rest will hit limbs, be scratches or miss completely. It's possible to outrun. The arrows dissolve as soon as they hit anything, so the attack can also be blocked. She can use this attack twice per battle, but it drains her.
Jadarite had never been particularly close to a youma before. She'd seen one or two around the city, from a distance, and of course there had been more that they'd passed on their way down here, but she'd always kept at least twenty feet apart.
She'd heard horror stories of lieutenants merging with beasts too powerful for them. She had no interest in that fate.
This was the first time she'd been face to face with a youma, and the thing was giant, blue, spewing lightning, and only about five feet from her face. She winced at its roar as it slid towards them.
Her ears rang. Her head spun. Something deep inside her mind seemed to register that this was actually a dangerous situation, especially as the youma got closer, then closer.
It was far too close. With a small grunt, Jadarite summoned her stapler and swung out.
The Space Cauldron
Jada is also attacking! Any of mine are open for damage!
If Jet had time to respond to Aquamarine’s thoughts, he would have admitted to Axinite seeming a bit distracted, but he refused to believe that they were ‘sent in first’ for the purpose of being pawns. They were trying to recover a Lieutenant that had been missing for who knew how long. Why would Axinite risk higher ranking officers, or any other officers, dying to save a single Lieutenant?
No, Axinite stayed back to make sure everyone stayed together, Jet was sure of it. It was Axinite’s vantage point that saved both he and Aquamarine from being attacked by the youma, after all.
“Thanks,” he breathed in relief as Aquamarine pushed him out of the way of some falling rocks that he definitely didn’t notice. He was busy trying to figure out where everyone else was being scattered.
“We need a group to move forward to find Feldspar, and a group to keep the youma distracted. Try to defend against it and not make it more aggressive,” Jet called out to whoever was listening around him. Some had already split off, but if they could band together, it would be safer. “Volunteers to keep the youma distracted, stay close.”
He’d heard Aquamarine’s comment about giving him his unquestioned loyalty, but Jet was busy trying to figure out what the youma was doing to respond.
It’s not trying to attack us, it’s going after the newer recruits, Jet thought to Aquamarine as he watched the youma completely ignore them. He had his weapon drawn and he was preparing to attack, but some lower ranked corrupted senshi and Lieutenants were already attacking it.
s**t, he hissed his thoughts, Can you try blasting it? It was worth a shot if Aquamarine could use that new magic he’d learned.

He did not like small youma, he did not like medium youma, and he did not like large youma. He didn’t like them feral or humanoid. They were useless to him, and, to be perfectly honest, a PR disaster for an organization attempting to brand itself as the good guys. Youma were a nuisance around the city, unless they were being used to attack Senshi and Knights directly.
Of course he expected to encounter youma while they were in the Rift. This was, after all, their domain. Even so, he’d hoped they wouldn’t encounter anything too terrible.
Like this one.
Very much like this one.
The last time Aquamarine was face to face with any sort of large, menacing creature, he got himself whacked against a tree, knocked unconscious, and locked in a cellar with several broken ribs and various other injuries, and a very annoying Corrupt Senshi — truly a traumatic experience.
Was he afraid?
Yes. Yes, he was.
But he had Jet to worry about and couldn’t exactly act on that ********>!” he said again, just because he could.
“Oh, yes, great idea! Let me get the big ugly horse monster’s attention with a fireball!” Aquamarine shouted back at Jet instead of using their two-way link through the earrings. “I’d be perfectly fine with it taking out those newer recruits, you know. They’re probably useless anyway. We’d be better off using them as bait while we going look for the idiot who got himself lost!”
But, even as he said it, Aquamarine tightened his grip on his rapier and aimed it at the youma, launching the aforementioned fireball in its direction.

Hell yeah forgotten spell. Pew pew fire. Also open for mild injuries, I guess. Lol I need to go to sleep. emo
Forgotten Spell - A burst of fire that causes the sensation of burning, and occasionally (upon a player’s choice) physical burns (severity up to the player’s discretion). Otherwise it leaves no wounds behind, just patchy layers of ash. The spell can only affect a single target within a radius of 20 feet, and can be used 3 times.
The appearance of the dark, blue youma was unfortunate, but not entirely unexpected. This was the Rift after all.
With their General King unable to get back to them, apparently, the best option would be to either defend themselves against this youma, or to move forward to collect the Lieutenant they were searching for.
The youma seemed to be going after those with lower ranks, so Bloodstone placed himself in front of Carnallite to discourage it from moving towards them. There were plenty of others it could attack.
He didn't miss the voice of a younger looking General nearby, suggesting they break up into two groups. Since he was planning on heading towards the signature of the missing Lieutenant anyway, he wasn't going against orders when he glanced over his shoulder to make sure Carnallite was following him, away from the youma and further down the path while it was distracted.
---------
Corrupted Sailor Taenite - Party Closer to Axinite
Taenite was still trying to figure out what to do. He wasn't about to just leaveAxinite down in the hole. He also knew he would personally not stand a chance against the giant youma, so it would be better if the Generals and whatnot took care of it.
"Yeah I think so," he made a face in response to Cymophane as he tried to peer down into the chasm, a hand scratching at his head as he tried to think about what to do. "He might have been knocked unconscious. s**t. This sucks. Well, I've got fire magic, and I don't really want to scorch him out, especially if he's out cold."
Taenite tried leaning over the cracks in the ground, wanting to see how far down it went. He was fully aware of the youma behind them and glanced over his shoulder to make sure it was occupied. It did not look very friendly. Yikes.
"Hey hey you said your friend has magic that can blind, right? Can he, you know, light up the hole?" Taenite asked.
Corrupt Eternal Kamacite - Party Closer to Axinite
With the rubble falling around them, all Kamacite could do was try to make sure Cymophane wasn't crushed. Oh, and himself. He would like to not get crushed.
He panted from both fear and exertion from avoiding rocks, although he still managed to get his arm scrapped up. He did not want to deal with a youma right now, but luckily they might be okay for a bit since there was a pile of debris from where the rocks had fallen, giving them a little bit of a barrier.
"I'm okay," Kamacite panted, his hand over his heart as he tried to calm it down. He was mostly okay. Physically, but if they were going to be stuck there, he and some new Negaverse Senshi weren't going to last long.
Especially if he pushed one of them down the hole first, for talking about him right in front of him. He could hear even if he didn't say much.
"I can try," Kamacite huffed, not waiting for Cymophane to relay the request from Taenite. "General King, if you can hear me, cover your eyes," he called down into the hole. He waited until both Taenite and Cymophane were turned away and covering their eyes before directing his magic down the hole.

Lieutenant Carnallite - Party on the Feldspar side of the rubble, heading to find the aforementioned Lieutenant
Carnallite gave a slow blink of what could have been surprise at the looks of the youma, but other than that she didn’t seem too disturbed by its presence, or its proximity to them on this side of the rubble.
She knew better than to take Bloodstone’s protective placement in front of her as any sort of indication that he questioned her ability to defend herself. The youma was large and dangerous and she had a plastic boomerang for a weapon, and the lower ranking officers seemed to be garnering the most attention from the creature. Whatever sort of martial arts training she might be able to boast, she could not take on the youma alone.
Or, perhaps, at all.
While several others chose to attack the youma, Carnallite followed Bloodstone in his attempt to move further down the path to find Feldspar.
---
Corrupt Sailor Cymophane - Trying to see down the hole to wherever Axinite went
Cymophane cringed over the apparent loss of their General King. He might not be dead, but he also probably wasn’t anywhere close to being able to help them.
And now there was a youma attacking a section of the party.
Thankfully, it was not near them.
He covered his eyes before Kamacite used his magic, motioning for Taenite to do the same. Prior to being corrupted, Cymophane had made the mistake of peeking through his fingers. He did not make that same mistake again.
“Do you see anything?” he asked.
Was it safe to uncover his eyes yet? It didn’t seem like a good idea to stand there for very long with his eyes covered. What if the youma came over to them?

General Lopezite
Alarmed by the sudden arrival of the large youma, Lopezite found himself gripping Alpersite’s wrist and tugging the lieutenant behind him. He drew his oversized sword and held it up, using the blade as much as a shield as it might have been a weapon. He didn’t like the look that the youma was giving some of the others, and he had the advantage of strength on his own behalf--he was going to use his best to protect those that they’d come with.
If the youma was needed, he was sure it could just reform in the Rift.
The people here? Not so much.
It would have been unwise to come down here not prepared to do all that was necessary to recover Feldspar and he didn't think Axinite brought them down here to die, themselves.
"Stay behind me," he instructed Alpersite. "I don't want you to get hurt. Tell me if you can see what everyone else is doing."
He kept his eyes on the youma, ready to attack.

Battered by attacks, the youma seemed to grow more enraged as more damage was inflicted upon it.
Cybele’s Senshi magic seemed effective; three arrows hit, though one only scratched it’s neck. Another hit its chest, and the other its arm. As soon as the arrows punctured, it recoiled with a roar. Foul smelling, oil slick black blood dripped from its injuries. Though the arrow to the chest seemed to do more damage, its arm, about chest height, seemed to give it the most grief, and blood pooled nearly three times as hard from that injury than the others. In a burst of rage at this attack, the youma sent a basketball sized piece of rocky debris hurling at Cybele’s stomach.
It may have been more distracted by Cybele’s magic, but it was not oblivious to Jadarite’s stapler. Her weapon might not have done much damage, but it was invested in her. It grabbed her arm as if to hold her in place for a second and drained, quickly enough that she might have been dizzy, but not enough to completely incapacitate her. Its tail was for that; it swung violently, and though the four spikes missed her, she took the force of its blunt force damage as it tried to smash her into another nearby agent--Sylvite.
Ferris wasn’t strong enough to do much damage in her wild rampage, but the youma seemed pleased to have another agent so close; its claws snapped around her neck and it held her in place as it drained her of energy, rapidly, and to near exhaustion in only a second. She might have had bruising on her neck at the grip alone, but she was fortunate that Aquamarine wasn’t just using her for bait. His burst of fire seared the youma enough that it immediately dropped her, and some of Ferris’ energy was rapidly returned to her.
Only, this seemed to earn the youma’s ire enough to distract from the weaker targets; Jet’s plan to distract it might have worked, but at his and Aqua’s expense; the youma’s skin was grotesquely seared and the burn dripped more of the foul, blood like substance. It hurt, and it was going to make them hurt, too; the youma let out another near-deafening screech to the area, but this one was far more targeted and the focused blast hit the ground at Aqua’s feet like a bullet. The ground splintered beneath him, and while it spread close to Jet, it didn’t quite reach him.
The pressure of the strange magic might have felt like something kicking violently at Aqua’s legs, and a small hole opened up beneath him rapidly, as if to swallow him just as Axinite had been.
The group continuing past the youmanearly avoided its attention, but it seemed keenly aware of the movement and was desperate to keep them away. Around the corner, the pathway opened up into a larger room and there, in the center of it, was a cluster of crystals. Feldspar’s signature seemed to be strongest there, but there was no sight of him--and it was impossible to look closer because a bolt of electricity shot down in front of them, sending sharp shards of debris flying everywhere.
The youma’s tail twitched threateningly behind it, as if challenging them to go further--and then it hit its tail on the ground twice more and two more supercharged electrical bolts exploded elsewhere.
Thankfully, the fighting seemed to have moved away from the group attempting to recover Axinite; though the youma’s roar was loud, and the electricity made the ground tremble beneath them. A few stray rocks tumbled down the hole; it was roughly ten feet wide and it seemed like the continued damage to the ground might cause it to grow. Still, it was stable enough that it wasn’t collapsing into itself--yet.
Kamacite’s magic was decently effective; the hole itself seemed to go down, and down, and down. There wasn’t any sign of Axinite, at first, but there seemed to be many different rock formations protruding from the sides of the hole. The ground was only somewhat hollow beneath the surface, and it looked like he’d not just been thrust through the surface, but ricocheted off of them on his way down. His axe was embedded in the wall a few yards down. It looked as if he might have tried to slow or stop his fall, but the momentum had yanked him downwards and he’d lost his grip. He hadn’t resummoned the axe, but there was the sight of something moving, far at the bottom.
Though it was difficult to hear with the noise from the fight, there was the distinct sound of something scraping. The noise echoed, and occasionally it sounded like a large chunk of rock broke and shattered.
Quote:
The youma still seems to favor targeting first stage characters but will attack anyone and anything that is threatening it! The path to Feldspar has been blocked temporarily but there’s strong reason to believe he’s there. The youma doesn’t seem like it’s giving any indication that it’s going to let them get there easily though, and it seems like it’s showing signs of being weakened--though, right now it just seems mad. You should do all you can to stop it before it becomes a bigger problem.
Something is stirring in the hole that Axinite disappeared into, but it’s difficult to tell. The Chaos Energy storm in the area seems like it’s getting more violent the more everyone fights; it might be best to just get this over--quickly.
Please include your character’s name and rank in bold font at the top of the post! Please also quote the mule if you are interested in your character taking any damage by the youma. This can be minor or major damage, at your own discretion! Please also quote the mule if you are attempting to attack the youma or take any other action that would require mule response.

General Jet - Trying to save Aquamarine from ending up wherever Axinite is
Jet flinched back as the youma roared, pressing a hand to his ear while he held his weapon with the other. Aquamarine’s blast of fire might have caused enough damage to get the youma away from the lower ranked agents, at the very least. If the oil-like blood reacted similarly to real oil, then maybe fire would be their best way of subduing it.
There wasn’t enough time to determine how much damage the fire caused, because the focused blast and ground crumbling beneath Aquamarine’s feet meant Jet’s priorities shifted.
He lunged forward, aware they wouldn’t be able to teleport if they did fall, and grabbed Aquamarine’s wrist before the ground swallowed him completely. Jet’s weapon had been dropped and he held onto the still crumbling edge of the hole with his other hand.
Don’t die, please don’t die, Jet gritted his teeth to stave off the panic that welled in his chest. Around him he knew the youma was still rampaging, likely back to chasing after the agents of lower rank. Aquamarine was his only actual family, despite how close he and Seraphinite were growing up. Jet refused to let his family die again.
“Can you pull yourself up?” he called down, digging his feet into the ground to brace himself. “I can try if you can hold on. I… the rocks keep slipping,” he explained as he repositioned his hand on the edge of the crumbling cliff.
Atheneite watched as the great youma appeared, it was incredible. She wondered if one day she could have a creature like that at her beck and call. But it seemed like no one had this creature under their command, not even the general king. The monster turned on the collected group of agents and corrupt senshi.
She was confused why one of their monsters would attack them but that was something she would have to worry about later. Her would be partner took off presumably to go after the energy signature of the missing agent. Atheneite decided that if she had that taken care of then she would focus on helping with the rouge youma.
She charged at the thing joining the other combatants that had already engaged it. She swung her baton as hard as she at the creature over and over again. She didn't have a real weapon or the magic of a senshi but she was determined to do her part in putting this thing down.

Atheneite is free to get majorly injured, although not enough to knock her out of the fight please
