Tanita came back with 2 more full crystals. She wasn't feeling as pleased with these two, but she knew they were needed, and felt that since she had been having little luck with getting more then these filled, she'd just turn in the ones she had. She paused, and noticed that most people were going to... Ah. Mr. Crane, not Edict. Blast. She definitely was intimidated by the Heir, there was no question of that. He was handsome, powerful, occasionally her Human World boss when at the bank, and the Heir. Why she was less intimidated of Edict... She wasn't sure. Maybe it was because she'd never gone to work at Edict's company. Maybe it was because she'd had almost no contact with Edict. Whatever the reason, Mr. Crane was far more intimidating to her. To the point where she found herself always thinking of him as Mr. Crane, as if he could hear what she was thinking and be offended if she was less then respectful.
She pursed her lips for a moment, trying to decide how to handle this, then shrugged a little, trying to look insouciant, but probably only managing nervous. She walked politely up to Mr. Crane, and gave a polite half bow, before presenting the two she had collected to him. Even if this was a small amount now, at least she could honestly claim she'd filled 8 total so far. "I hope to have more soon, Sir." She straightened, gave him a slight smile. "If I might have some more empties, that is, sir?"
While gathering Fear was something that all knew how to do, Sen Shi had to admit that gathering it with such purpose and speed was not something she was used to. She was loathe to admit that, however. Still, she'd gone out, and she'd done it. She'd taken work, she'd done what she could for the sake of the group. One thing could be said for certain now - she rather disliked working. Which honestly meant she needed to do it more.
So here she was, dropping of the bit of Fear she had. She also brought along a sweater she'd found, since for some reason it seemed to house Fear? She didn't understand that but whatever. Fear was what they needed and if her sweater had it then so be it.
"Here is what I have, I hope it is helpful."
And then she stood there, waiting. Because she didn't know what else to do. Should she go collect more? Should she wait for new orders? She didn't want to go stare at the crystal - that was only going to make her think overmuch.

Conquest was certainly something. Rep had never been sure what to make of the strange clan but he'd found himself mesmerised by them anyway, Jian had held his attention from the very beginning with the calm but powerful way he functioned. They were artists and yet at the same time were capable of holding their own in a fight, it was a combination that he admired but at the same time was perhaps - if he was honest - a little bit jealous of. He wanted to be like them, wanted to be refined and elegant while at the same time tacticians. He wanted to be an artist, he wanted to be in elegant surroundings.
Deep down he wasn't actually a fan of the jungle, it was home but it was hot, it was effort, it was hard to see and hard to fly. He dreamed of wide pristine open spaces, halls with wide open spaces and echoing room to spread your wings and truly soar. He liked the elegant gardens and water, he liked everything about conquest's aesthetic. They were all things wealthy and opulent and he loved it.
Once he'd asked very seriously to wear some of Jian's old robes and had felt truly elegant for the first time in his life, right up until the point where he'd tripped and fallen and then sworn never ever to do it again, that perhaps a life of elegance and finery wasn't for him and wouldn't ever be for him.
He couldn't help them here, so he simply got the ******** out of their way and went to sulk somewhere else.

"That you are," said Crane agreeably, and dipped his head towards America in a gesture of approval. Her addition of the best made his brows raise further, however, the smile on Crane's face tugging a bit wider, amusement flickering in his blue eyes.
"I wouldn't forget about you, to be sure," said Crane airily as she swooped off. America was replaced with Tanita, and he reached out a long fingered hand to accept the filled crystals, tucking them away safely before he passed her a few new ones.
"I do so appreciate the hard work I see being put into this," he said smoothly. "Well done."
