Tanita was eyeing the boxes in front of herself and her newest taskmate with a hint of disfavor. WHY did anyone think 'random place in the middle of the blasted desert' was a good idea to leave a shipment? She turned her head to face the other when she stated her name, and gave a polite bow to her fellow Conquest Horsewoman. "And I am Tanita. It is a pleasure to meet you." She paused, then added with a bemused expression on her face, "They really need to start introducing us to each other, rather then just 'Here, work with this person. Go.' before sending us off." She shrugged, and sighed a little, then looked back at the boxes. "At least there will be no noodles..." She mumbled under her breath, wishing Liya was here to get the joke, and then moved to them to lift one. "What in the name of the Clans do you think they would leave in such a forsaken place?"

She attempted to get a weight estimate on the one she held, before remembering... She had no skill at this. "I doubt it's weapons, it doesn't feel heavy enough for it. And food would be too easy to damage out here in this heat." She paused, and looked at Sen Shi again, with a slightly concerned frown. "Are you feeling the heat at all? Such dark colors must be uncomfortable for you." She looked down at her own outfit, and laughed at herself. "I know I am feeling the heat, myself."

Tanita laughed in response, and rolled her eyes. "And of course it means, if the mission involves any finesse, you've had NO time to work with your compatriot, and thus no idea what the heck they might do next. I much prefer having some idea, so I don't, for instance, end up with a bowl of hot soup in my lap, or something like that. The confusion is no joke, trust me." She shook her head, and sighed.

She turned back to the boxes, and poked the nearest one with a hint of contempt in her action. "No, there is no logical reason for this. I mean, I could MAYBE get it if was boxes of knives, or something... It's a really distant location, so no one is likely to find them and question what they're doing here, who owns them, etc. Even then, it seems a really ridiculous place."

"At least they're all here, it's far more annoying when your slip doesn't match the drop site's contents. And there's no extras, so we don't have to worry about something... strange... going on." She sighed, and then nodded about the heat. "Indeed. I'd have worn something far more appropriate for this extremely overly hot location then my black silks..."

"Two... Ugh you're right. My arms are definitely not long enough to carry three at once. Why on earth couldn't they have sent us another person?" She knelt down, and peered at how they were fastened closed, before grinning. "I think that's an EXCELLENT idea. After all, we should be aware if there's something in there that might leak, or something of that nature!" And she'd get to satisfy her natural curiosity for once!

Tanita sighed one more time, remembering a really nice mission outfit she'd had that had to be bleached to death to get weirdly shaped stains out of it, then redyed. It'd never been the same again after that. She shook her head, and refocused on what was at hand.

"Oh man, NO thank you. That is not something I ever want, being blamed for it." She shuddered, perhaps a little melodramatically, but who cared? "Can you imagine the DISAPPOINTED look Mr. Crane or Ms. Edict might give us?" She wouldn't admit it, but she had a slight little crush on the handsome Crane, and did not care to have him unhappy with her. She knew it was never at ALL likely to be fulfilled, but still.

Tani moved over to where she could see what Sen was opening, and her brows rose. Oh what lovely silks those were. She found herself reaching out to run a finger along one of them, a look of want in her eyes. She wouldn't lie, a beautiful thing like that would make her covetous indeed. "They're gorgeous, Sen Shi... Utterly gorgeous." She blinked, then added "Yes, it does seem to be a robe for the home. Not enough coverage to be a proper kimono..."

She moved back to another box, and pulled it open. She raised her brows, examining the contents that emerged. "Well this one is also clothes but..." She lifted up what appeared to be a lightweight cotton pajama set. It was pretty, and well patterned, but it was still pajamas. "What on EARTH is with this shipment? Why are clothes in the desert? Let alone... things to be worn at home? Does some one in the higher ups have a fetish for human nightclothes they want to keep secret?" She looked at her companion, baffled.

Tanita began to carefully examine everything in her box... Just to be sure nothing was torn, of course, not because she wanted to touch, to feel, to SEE all the lovely pajamas that were in here. She wasn't normally that worried about pajamas... No one ever saw her in them, after all... But these were too lovely not to admire. She pulled out a set that was made of satin, with a lovely floral pattern on it, and just went "Oh... oooooooo..." In response to how lovely it was.

"I don't... know why we're in this odd situation, but perhaps..." She got a glimmer of an idea, and suddenly grinned at her new companion. "Perhaps, just to make sure they're ok, of course, we should try on everything. That way we can get a full look at each item's insides and out, make sure there are no suspicious tears, make sure they're properly sown together... We wouldn't want whoever these are for to be getting shoddy work, now would we?" She had an "I'm EVER so innocent, you know" look on her face.

When she saw Sen Shi had already slipped an arm into the robe she held, Tani grinned wide, and said "I mean, of course they're supposed to be quality, and the top ones of course WILL be, but it's our duty to make sure even the ones hidden under that are, too, isn't it?" She tilted her head, wondering how Sen Shi would react.
