Ah, warm weather. Spring was ending and summer was beginning.

He hated it. Ok, ok. Not hate like 'Curse you to the bottoms of Hell, Summer, you vile beast!' but Valin Lobel enjoyed the cold weather much much more. Having spent most of his life on the mild climates of Corellia and Coruscant, he had grown accustomed to their weather patterns - except for Coruscant's rain... it felt like engine lubricant even after the Yuuzhan Vong terraformed it.

However Earth's climate was pretty nice. Especially in this upper region near the poles where it seemed cooler most of the time anyway.

This weather was why he had switched clothing for today - from the pinnacle of Jedi to the pinnacle of smuggler who had been working on a starship. The clothing was simple: Black pants with yellow Corellian Bloodstripes, a simple off-white shirt with some black scruff marks from working on the ship, a dark brown undershirt, a brown leather flight jacket-like vest with no sleeves, black gloves with no coverings for the fingers, and a brown belt with plenty of room for Jedi goodies plus lightsaber and a holster for his blaster. Lastly, he wore black boots.

Pretty standard Corellian wear. Very standard pirate and smuggler wear. It was comfy, too.

Anyway, he made his way to the doors of Orion and opened them. He walked in and looked around. Jade, Miyu, a baby, Unks and more.

Who started the party without him?

::Unks looked up torwards the ceiling sensing nine strong powers on the roof. There were only two before but now nine? He finished his drink and saw Jade, and Miyu with a little girl. Unks greeted the girls as he walked pasted.

"Hi ladies. .I'd like to stay and chat but it seems something is going on on the roof."

Unks made his way to the doors and opened them. He looked up more and then flew into the air and up torwards the roof seeing Keno, the members of Unit 97 and someone else. He landed near Keno and put his hands in his pockets::

"Evening fellas, is there a problem here?"

"She's beautiful, Miss Miyu....like you."

It might seem odd coming from a woman, but it was a true compliment all the same. But almost as quickly as she was cooing over the new life, Jade stiffened visibly and turned to the south. Even though she couldn't see them yet, it was impossible not to feel that energy.

"M-miyu.....stay somewhere safe in here with that little girl of yours...."

Jade's thought didn't even have time to run the normal course they usually did when faced with children when those powers came. They weren't here to threaten Keno this time. This time, she could tell they meant buisness.

Narrowing her eyes, Jade slowly turned towards the doors and started walking to them, a slight nod in Valin's direction. Then she suddenly dashed outside, and quickly flew up towards the top of the tower. Instead of landing though, she hovered above, seeing as how the tower top was becoming rather crowded. Her green eyes didn't leave the seven though.

::Keeping his cool, the tall Orinian has opted against his loud, flashy entrance in favor of one much more silent and subtle. With his Shunkido technique bringing him back to his home, he perches himself atop a treebranch far below the Tower rooftop, purposefully keeping his presence hidden from any nearby, be it friend or foe. Even from an adjacent tree, he is well-camouflaged at this hour, making the task of actually spotting him an impressive one. He wears his wide-brimmed hat - along with his typical eyeglasses and headband - his long tranchcoat coattails drooping far elbow even the branch he kneels upon. His button-down shirt and undersuit are likewise black, as are his belt, jeans, and boots, further helping him to blend in with his dark surroundings.

Forcing himself to keep his cursings in his head, he silently reminds himself to keep a closer eye on Keno now, knowing who's out for his blood. It's bad enough Jade is involved in this nonsense now. Aside from that, ditching people isn't something the boy enjoys, but unfortunately something he is growing increasingly used to. This year alone, he's already left three women wearing just a pinch more than their skin hanging in their doorway or on their porch, looking bewildered as the Tonepian blasts off unexpectedly. He really needs to have a proper reply prepared for when they ask what his sudden hurry to leave is.

Back to Earth, Deity, he thinks to himself, shaking himself free of his thought-induced stupor. Now isn't the time to be lost in his own head. Still, leaping into action now isn't helping anyone - despite the inevitablity of many others doing that very thing each time this sort of event occurs. He keeps his ki suppressed and his movement frozen, the only sound from his body accompanying the slow, steamy breaths escaping his lips every few seconds or so. Lying in wait below, Deity shows no intention of moving. He isn't here to fight - if he were, he would reveal himself.::

Hearing the bit of nervousness in her voice, Miyu nodded gently as she moved to another spot in the bar, a seat close to the wall and giving her a better place away from the door. She watched as Jade left the room rather quickly.

As if noticing the tension in the room, Aerith let out a strangled cry, her eyes filling with tears at the loud noises around her. Miyuki instantly went to cuddle with her, petting the top of her head gently.

"Shuuush, it's okay sweetie, it's okay.."
