"'Skeleton King'? Sounds like something Nari would call himself," Bast quipped as she strolled into the area. She yawned and looked around, then waved at Tetsuhiko. "Hey Tetsu. This the guy? He's not going to turn into a giant turtle, is he? I swear, if he's got multiple forms I'm going to flip."
She took a swig from her flask of tea, held it in her mouth for a moment so the smell of mint could fill her head, then swallowed. After all her hard work, she needed a nap.
"Excuse me, Mister Skeleton King," she shouted at the skeleton man. "Sorry, I have a few questions. Is this production for those of all ages? And can I get an apology for dragging my cat into this? I know I destroyed your mummy buddy and his turtle for it, but you know, I'm still pretty pissed off about it. On a related note, do you know anything about Cactus Bast?"

"Yeah and your Zombie's dead too. Oh! And that doll!" His voice would ring out a second before Karuto emerged from the tunnel into the production area with the other shinobi. So this was the big bad Skeleton King eh? He wasn't impressed. Especially since he had Lahil with him. A girl that could make Genjutsu real teamed up with him was neigh on unstoppable after all. Looking around, he was honesty confused by the whole thing. He was expecting flaming braziers, evil animal tapestrys and general spookyness not this...metrosexual undead director.
Ferrah stumbled futilely to keep up with the massive nin who had dragged her along to the forest. Apparently from what she could remember the boy's name was Karuto and was part of her squad? It went a little fuzzy the deeper she went but for the time being she found it suited her not to tell anyone about her current situation. Instead hoping through the steps in the dark Ferrah found herself surround by hoards of monsters who all seemed.. uniquely interested in either her or the other genin who had made their way here first. Trying to sneak peaks through all the bodies Ferrah also saw an enormous skeleton clad in easily one of the nicest suites she had ever seen in her life. Assuming from his stature and the way he so calmly addressed the group Ferrah figured him to be the leader of the group the village was tasked with hunting. Alright.. friendly demeanor aside there is no way this isn't going to end in a blood bath. Sticking her finger into her pouch Ferrah pricked herself with one of her kunai, then rolling up one of her sleeves she began to draw all over herself in her blood.
๑๑๑๑After tossing his key in with the other genin and walking down a narrow flight of stairs, Hideo found himself staring at quite the production indeed. The eight foot tall man who after introductions revealed himself to be called The Skeleton King, offered the group his applause along with some creatures who seemed to be in the process of moving things from one place to another. The whole scene was a lot to take in for Hideo's Byakugan, there seemed to be so much going on at once. Basts voice came as a welcomed respite from him having to respond to the whole scenario but instead take things in silently for the time being. Whoever this well quaffed man was, he put a lot of work into getting all of these shinobi in one place.

As Masato's group cleared the elongated halls and eventually found themselves in the presence of the skeleton king, he dissected the room with his crimson glare. The skeleton king was....quite disappointing to Masato. He could tell this king was strong, but his actions and words dictated that he was not the foe everyone expected but much more like Tetsuhiko than anyone else. His eyes watched the theatrical motions of the skeleton king. His use of the word audition nipped at Masato's thoughts. Then the word of a final production. He had indeed brought them here to fight.
At that time, the numbers of the persons continued to flow into the room. At the slightest hint of movement, Masato's eyes shifted over towards the stairwell they had came from. A woman of rather small stature emerged first, she seemed rather confused, thinking the king may turn into a turtle.Then a third familiar face emerged. The red giant, Karuto. Boasting about his victories. Shortly behind him was the girl who had shown up last second when Masato assisted Karuto in his fight. Her fingers traced her own body with blood. Some sort of Ritual technique?
Finally, with his attention turned back towards the Skeleton King, Masato would speak up as he slammed his closed right fist into an open left palm. " Lets get this 'production' under way." he roared, stepping forward. It was clear Masato understood the skeleton king's intent. He readied himself mentally for quite the battle alongside several of his comrades.
So many people! His chakra sensing skills detected other people. Excellent! The production could begin shortly. When Bast came down, the Skeleton King scratched his head with his right hand. “Your Cat was attacked?” He asked. His face became stern as he turned to the giant pumpkin. “I thought I told you no actual killing?” The man demanded. More gargles came from the giant pumpkin. The undead one seemed to understand the disgruntled noises. “Oh I see. It was a genjutsu.” The Skeleton King said. He turned to Bastet with a lowered head.
“I apologize for the freight. It’s our job to scare, but never to be mean.” He said. The bone man then brought two fingers to his mouth and whistled. A spectral sheet tied in the shape of a small dog and glowing nose appeared. “Alright boy. Go find the nice lady a proper condolence present.” He asked the dog. The dog barked in compliance as he floated off through a wall. Within moments Bastet would feel the purring of a cat along her leg. If she looked down then she would see the skeleton of a cat very much alive and animated. “That girl there is more durable than anything of the material world. She’s not combat trainable, but she’ll be around way longer than your average cat.” The skeleton king said, marketing the reward. As he finished that up, he recalled that at least two people apologized for destroying the monsters.
“You do realize that you guys didn’t kill anyone either, right?” The Skeleton King asked as he brought his right hand to his chin. He then extended his arm and pointed to the abomination that Hideo would be very familiar with. “That’s just one of the many enemies that appeared. Mr. Pumpkin used his chakra to make copies of our monster friends along the same power level as the person who fought them. After all, this was only a casting call.” The Skeleton King then laughed at the thought of any of them actually fighting the monsters assigned. “Make no mistake my new friends. If any of you fought the real versions of your monsters, aside from maybe the former Kazekage herself, then you all would have been torn to ribbons.” He said. Truth be told, Bastet’s power far exceeded anything the pumpkin king and himself could create while maintaining the distance they held. Maybe if they were closer then they could have created a more balanced fight. Unfortunately at that case no one else would have been able to audition.
Speaking about auditions, Masato was ready to film! It did the Skeleton Kings nonexistent heart good to see someone so eager to act. “Excellent! Oh this is going to be my best production yet!” He said eagerly. His arms folded toward his torso as his hands shook with anticipation. “Oh I can see it now. The power, the tension, the romance, the freights! This is going to be my best show yet. Family friendly show obviously.” He added, in regards to Bastet’s previous question.

No need to wait until everyone gets here, however. Just had to set up atmosphere first, as well as answer any questions your rpcs may have.
Saiko followed the other genin down the stairs, making sure he didn't trip himself as that would be rather awkward. As they went into the large theatrical setting, Saiko could say that he was thoroughly confused. 'What is happening?' Saiko thought to himself. It was around this time that a few other shinobi joined them for what he assumed would be a fight very soon. Saiko had no idea who any of these people were but, he figured the more help the better considering this was supposedly the boss. Saiko wasn't too worried about speaking directly to the Pumpkin King as it seemed the others had that handled. As he waited, his left hand went down to his Katana and gripped the handle while his right hand went to his chest and was ready to make hand seals as soon as whatever happened, happened. The boy would have to better introduce himself to these people later as he only knew who the Hyuuga and who that Tetsuhiko person was.

There were so many people present that Bast was both proud and slightly taken aback. If only this many people would support the arts normally, there would probably be fewer starving artists living on the streets. Not that there necessarily were any already. It seemed people were more interested in high production value events like this one than their standard community theater.
Bast froze when she felt a purring against her leg. Was this another Genjutsu? Did she dare look at the cat that was supposedly down there? She did, then swallowed hard. A skeleton cat? Should she be afraid of it? She felt afraid of it. She poked its skull, though, and got a tiny thrill when it meowed back.
"So," she said, suppressing the trembling in her voice as best she could. "Shall we begin?"
She'd have to work out how she felt about this bone cat later.

Having an exorcist around would hopefully do some good in this alleged 'performance' even though she was late to curtain call Kyomei wasn't going to be 'upstaged' in her element.

However, the beam inflicts no harm to anyone or any structure...unless it is a strange creature, impure of heart, tainted by evil, or wishes to do harm. The technique essentially, even then, does no damage, instead, it places a feeling of tranquility on all evil or violent intentions shutting them away briefly and crossing over any wayward spirits. Even then, such is only achievable by tampering with the chanters rings discreetly carving [Shi] [Death] on each ring. Which no wielder could do themselves as it would make them unfit to wield the Keihatsu. This was only discovered when a former Keihatsu user asking for purity [Shin] to be engraved on the weapon by a blacksmith was accidently replaced with [Shi] the result was labeled in history as [The Black Tragedy]. While it's mark in history was minimal and the small settlement lost wasn't noteworthy the Keihatsu's capability of destruction was discovered that day and only the most heavily versed scholars are aware of it as even many who've unlocked the Keihatsu's abilities are unaware of this. Unfortunately devout historian's because of this are incredibly suspicious of all wielders of the Keihatsu.

__ The little Blue Blur arrived as Kyomei corrected the tall, strangely thin skeleton man's grammar. She stopped next to the smol exorcist and cheerfully grinned despite the somewhat frightful situation. One hand was set on her hip and the other pointed at the Skeleton King, "I'll show you how awesome I, Zhi Zenshin, am!! Your show is gonna be- uuhhhh... uhm, err..." Yeah, she had absolutely no idea what she was going for there. All she really wanted to do was announce herself too. Kyomei seemed so pumped and honestly she was pretty excited too. "Well whatever! Let's just do this!" Her hand used for pointing shifted to a thumbs up to better match her unwavering grin.

Taylor descended down the stairs. The trap door wasn't too hard to find since it was left wide open. Where was Horus, however? He couldn't worry too much about it. There's no way the bird would have traversed such a narrow hallway on his own. As he reached the bottom with the rest of the group, he felt like a midget along the giants. He moved over to Zhi in order to not feel so short, but even Kyomei, who was also along their height, was floating in order to avoid being seen as short. Taylor didn't have anything to say, but he was worried. This area was massive, and that giant pumpkin monster in the back didn't look easy. Were these things connected to the demon attack from weeks back? He kept his grip on his weapon. He wasn't sure what was going to come next. With a tense form he looked at the skeleton king.

Her outline complete Ferrah used her kunai to start tracing the lines of blod that she made on her arms. Nothing too deep mind you, just the faintest of scraps to leave a mark upon hers skin. Lost in thought as she imbued chakra into her wounds Ferrah only paid a mild amount of attention to those who had shown up around her. What had interested her of course was why this boss hadn't bothered to make a move yet? In fact the man.. err bones? Seemed more welcoming and accommodating than any person she had ever met, which just didn't make sense to with what he must be capable of doing. Whatever his reasons Ferrah had begun to doubt whether being here was actually a good idea for her considering how at ease this king was around them.

__Tetsuhiko was the first to enter the area and was instantly enamored by the theatrical setting and the skeleton king's overall demeanor. He watched as the skeleton king moved around and spoke, although Tetsuhiko was slightly annoyed that he acted as if he were the only game in town. Tetsuhiko was the grand performer and bunraku theatre playwright extraordinaire! When Bast entered and spoke to him he smiled, waved, and gave her a few nods. He was almost speechless to find out that the skeleton king was not some evil creature, but actually a man of art. Tetsuhiko immediately walked forward and took center stage. "Silence, Skeleton King! What you see before you is Tetsuhiko Hanzo, the greatest theatrical producer in Sunagakure! Are you ready...for a grand performance?! Thanatos, Castor, appear my princes of darkness!" Suddenly two marionettes appeared in front of Tetsuhiko, Thanatos the skeletal harbinger of death and Castor the mounted knight. Indigo chakra threads attached to them, five from each hand. Castor's head retracted into his body to give off the appearance of the headless horseman. This was a halloween themed production afterall and Tetsuhiko was not one to detroy a motif. Suddenly, spooky pipe organ music played out of the marionettes as Tetsuhiko unsealed a lot of iron sand which flowed around his body. Tetsuhiko was now ready for the show!
๑๑๑๑As the Skeleton King motioned towards the same corpse he thought he'd destroyed earlier and mentioned nonchalantly they weren't real, Hideo's right hand slowly slipped towards the hilt of his katana. His eyebrow raised at the spoken thought on his behalf about how strong the monsters actually were made the boy uneasy, and so did the chakra aura the pumpkin was emitting. The man didn't seem so eager for a fight, at least not yet and the suna-born Hyuuga was starting to wonder what he was playing at. In fact, he wondered if the 'show' he wanted to put on was going to be a normal fight in the least. From what he'd gleaned so far from the setting and his manner of attacking the village earlier, he was rather unorthodox. Perhaps the next stage of his so called event would be unorthodox as well.

More than that, she didn't seem to take this whole thing to seriously, much like him. Masato was much the same way. Taijutsu-users just had a more simple way of looking at the world he guessed.

When this thing kicks off...let me throw you. It'll look so cool and you'll hit him so hard" I mean, yeah, you could fight a Skeleton, but if you didn't make it memorable then why even bother showing up

Rings can be destroyed by an ability one rank higher than the X-rank of rings used or if there are three strength descriptives or higher when against a similar ranking technique.
