Horus drooped Taylor off at the entrance to the hospital. The bird then flew off as Taylor went inside. Once inside, Taylor noticed immediately Hikaru. Man he was pretty. The thought was the mitigated however by the visual interaction of Lady Bastet and Tetsuhiko. The look of scorn on the woman’s face was a visual for the ages. Finally, Zhi as usual got here before him. She introduced him, which caused Taylor to bow respectfully. “If it’s alright with you, Lady Bastet, then I would like to join a little longer.” He said respectfully. He was glad to be here, but he would not overstay his welcome.

__Hikaru sighed in relief. It was odd to require a quarantine if there was no immediate fear of the infection spreading. It did make the boy curious. What exactly were they trying to contain. Before he could think long on it, however, the others arrive. Tetsu’s acrions caused him to chuckle, even though the use of props was in bad taste. Then Zhi arrived with her various cloned selves, bringing levity to the situation. Finally Taylor arrived also. Why all of the people? Regardless, Hikaru raised his arm as paper parted from his palm. The sheets quickly shaped themselves into miniature horses with wings as he had one fly to each person, including to each of Zhi’s clones and also Bastet. “The others know from our spar, but if you find yourself falling ill then grab the paper and call to me. I can transfer my medical techniques into any of my papers. Because of the limited information I have no way of knowing whether the effects are immediate, but I should be able to ward off most non-lethal ailments.” He said. He disliked speaking so much in such a populated area. Ideally he liked to stay in the back. But, with safety, it was probably for the best if he spoke up. Before he continued, however, he waited until the medical staff gave their team scrubs to help avoid infections.

It seemed that Zhi also didn't understand that the hospital wasn't really a place for loudness or excessive levity. Bast mentally ticked through options for how to address the situation, but figured she'd just address it later since everyone was finally gathered. She'd get Tetsuhiko some tea or something to make up for it.
"You're welcome to join," she told Taylor, but before she could segue into the main topic of the meeting Hikaru provided them with horses. Long-distance healing was a very useful tool, so she made a note of it. "Your healing might prove to be one of the key facets of this operation if things go south, Hikaru."
She inspected the pegasus for a moment more, then headed for the door while motioning for the others to follow. Once out of earshot of the lobby, she addressed her charges:
"There's been a change of plans. The prescription we were set to deliver is used for a few very common ailments, but also treats a specific disease received from handling scorpions. We've received reports that the sick fellow was seen transporting scorpions recently, perhaps ones that were obtained less than legally. We're to help quarantine his apartment in case there are infected scorpions present and then try to determine where he was transporting the scorpions."
"On their own," interjected one of the medics who were tagging along, "the scorpions shouldn't pose much of a threat. They have a mild venom that will hurt but shouldn't cause much lasting damage. Witnesses said they were a brownish-red color, so be on the lookout for that."
"You heard them," Bast stated, looking out at the assembled Genin. "Here are your orders for when we arrive: Tetsu, sweep the ground with iron sand to flush out any that are hiding; Zhi, see if you can sense any large clusters of scorpions in the area, even if it's faint; Hikaru, look into the area in and around the patient's apartment; and Taylor, you and Horus should get an aerial view of the situation. We'll begin the investigation once we've cleared the area. Move out!"

__ Tetsuhiko hung his head in shame as he walked backwards and placed the rose back into the bouquet.If the person the flowers were intended for died, why would that individual need them anyway? He fell quiet for a long while and stared at the floor. "It feels like nobody likes me." He thought as he remembered the constant pain of rejection from Sadayo, Bastet-sensei, etc. He noticed the others come in, but only barely as his soul felt awhirl with sorrow and shame. "Everybody likes Zhi, why don't they like me?" The boy thought as he followed his sensei out of the lobby. He listened well enough to the instructions and pursed his lips in a sigh. Tetsuhiko understood his orders and swiftly walked out of the hospital ahead of the others, not wanting to talk to anybody.

__ Oooh. Zhi immediately sobered up and mellowed down all at once when Bastet started talking very seriously. Her eyes did wander over to the saddened Tetsuhiko a few times throughout the explanation of the mission as well as everyone's roles in it. 'Aw... T-Fizzle needs a hug too.' She had thankfully accepted the paper horse from Hikaru, being reminded of his rather unique application of healing ninjutsu. Like Bastet said, he'd be super helpful in a pinch if things got bad during this mission or maybe even later in future assignments. "Okay! Time to go!" Her clones would hear that declaration and file out of the hospital's waiting room with her. Already, her sensory was pinpointing the largest concentration of the little poison-tailed arachnids. Since she knew what she was looking for, this would be as easily handled as the snakes! Boy, it was a good thing she wasn't a girly girl. If she were then she might think that her teacher was trying to creep her out on purpose with all these crawly creatures.

Taylor felt relieved when Lady Bastet informed him that he was allowed to join. He was alarmed, however, when Tetsuhiko looked visibly distraught. While the boy wanted to help the brilliant pianist, the woman gave him an order. Find scorpions on the back of the Horus and give the team any information. It was a good thing that he still had the camera from the previous mission. With a new roll of film Taylor left the hospital and Horus descended on cue. The boy got on his thunderbird's back and the two headed off to the residential district.

__The paper horse twitched when Bastet observed it. It unfolded and then refolded itself back into its paper horse form. It was Hikaru's way of accepting the acknowledgment his sensei was giving him. The boy felt unnerved, however, at the apparent sorrow on Tetsuhiko's face. Why did a face so radiant have to be in distress? The boy left, and so did the others. He had a habit of being the last one to get to the finish line. Maybe he should rush more. With a bow he left as his paper horse followed behind. The residential district wasn't far away, and with a quick burst he headed over there.

Karuto arrived at the hospital to find it in complete chaos. He quickly handed off the wounded man to an attendant who did as Karuto wished because of his Shinobi status but was not happy about it. Apparently there was a quarantine going on. They were struggling to keep the healthy out of the hospital and the sick inside, as well as struggling finding Patient Zero. Turning to Hideo, he smiled "Seems like the missions never stop! You wanna track down Patient Zero while I stay here and help enforce the Quarantine?" 1/4
๑๑๑๑Nodding somewhat distracted as his eyes took in the chaos around him, the boy spoke absentmindedly seemingly without blinking. "It shouldn't take me too long." Turning on his heels slipping both hands in his pockets, his head turned just a bit as his gaze met Karuto's and the doctor's around him as he stopped in his tracks. "It's too bad no one here knows any jutsu to put people to sleep. That would probably help calm people down." With a shrug, he continued down the hall. His keen eyes had already spied the symptoms written on the clip board one of them was holding, it was only a matter of time before he found patient zero.

Karuto got to work. First off he took a mask from one of the aides in order to minimize his chance of catching the disease himself. He then went about constructing rough wooden barricades. This kept people from easily swarming the hospital. It was easy enough to set them up and the hospital orderlies thanked him for it 2/4
Karuto then went about and started bolting the doors of the hospital shut. Nobody would be allowed to enter or leave except for the main entrance which he left unshackled but guarded personally. Nobody, patients nor staff, would be allowed to leave while the contamination was running rampant. 3/4
At one point a man, presumably a family member of one of the victims, broke past the barricade and sprinted towards the door, yelling something about his daughter. Karuto felt sorry for the poor man and so decided to knock him out with a quick chop to the back of the neck. Aides dragged the man away for a physical examination, and after that display nobody else tried to rush towards the hospital. Finding an aid, he wrote out a note for the man to give Hideo when he returned which read.... 4/4

๑๑๑๑Strolling at the same leisurely pace he'd left in with his hands in his pockets, Hideo caught sight of the new barricades and staff posted at the main entrance. As one of them raised an eyebrow at the sight of what at first appeared to be twins, one of them with a man slung over their shoulder, a nurse ran out as she recognized Hideo from earlier. She exclaimed if that was the patient zero and he nodded. "Yep. Extremely high fever, chronic cough, even his chakra system is being effected. Yo," he said aloud to his clone as he nodded towards the door, the clone walking towards it and inside as a stretcher was brought for him to place the man on.
Dispelling the clone as the doctors thanked him, an aid handed him a note they said a large genin had written for him, Karuto no doubt. Reading it quickly after slipping his left hand out of his white pants to grab the scrap sheet of paper, Hideo sighed as he handed the note back. "Thanks." Slipping his hand back into the pocket, he turned and went on his way remarking out loud, "The new barricades look good by the way." With that, Hideo headed out.
