He returned to the Goddesses in much the same state as he had left the pedestals--tired and effectively wrung through. Imuiel took the blessing without much reaction, even though the warmth restored at least some of his vigor. The voices went unheeded for the moment, and he slunk out, venturing back into the fog-ridden terrain once more.

Vassou believed that his path to become a goddess was fading away now. He felt that the pain from that lost memory was gone now.

Nojha entered the Shrine feeling he hadn't the right to be there. He had failed. But perhaps he could ask forgiveness. He knelt before the shrine, and was surprised to feel the Blessing fall over him. Touched that they still considered himself worthy, Nojha gathered his dignity, and bowed low to the Goddesses before leaving.

There was an eerie calm about him as he strode into the Shrine to accept the Blessing from a task well done. He simply stood in front of the statue, his head bowed a little as he felt the warmth. A nice feeling, even in muddled thoughts that he did not want to think about.
That soon found more company of odd and strange voices.

The tasks were getting more and more difficult. She found herself muddled with new thoughts, new concepts. A set? A set ...
She shook her head. It was not what she should have been thinking about now. "Thank you," she said to the statues, smiling broadly as she received her blessing. The task had been nothing more than a dream. She had the goddesses' protection. All was well.

As she trudged her way up to the Shrine, Mnezara stared at the statue of the Goddess with a heavy heart. More? She simply felt incomplete. Voices filled her head, but it was barely enough. Barely just...
"No." She whispered, closing her eyes, the familiar voices dancing like wisps of mist that taunted her.

The deed had been done. Nush came out on top as the predator. He hoped the goddesses will be pleased.

She strolled back into the shrine with a frown. Daaiji stared at the goddesses. Prey or predator? Of course, she was predator.

Anni looked at the Goddesses, her eyes clean of the salty residue. She nodded happily at them, oblivious to the pain she had just endured. All was well.

Nanco entered the Shrine and attempted to explain how she'd finished the Task. She had learned more about herself, she found! As the Blessing settled over her, Nanco found herself beaming at the Goddesses.

Would she granted a blessing for not completing the task, she wondered as she entered the shrine with unease. Had others come already in her situation?
She waited, looked up at the Goddess with worry in her eyes. Uncertain what would happen, wondering what rejection would be like. But it didn't come, what filled her was that familiar feeling. A Blessing. Still for what she had done. Palem was shocked and so pleased. So thankful, she couldn't put it into words.
Somehow she still succeeded, receiving more of herself. Voices.
Wait, voices?

"Why am I here again?" Eir finds himself standing before the three objects. There's a beautifully crafted knife with blade polished to a mirror finish at the podium which plaque reads 'Prey'.... What does that mean? And then he remembered he's here for meeting the Goddess, Eir walked from the statue and podiums, now facing the Goddess of Ruin's statue. Feeling someone was present using the statue as a vessel, he quickly knelt. So your resolve didn't change? How brave of you, to response in that way. The ability to admit that you are wrong, also- the will to sacrifice yourself for others is few between many things this world needed. It is your gift, and rare ones at that.He can feel a hand resting on his shoulder. Even if you will forget this as soon as you steps out of this place, hear me well. Your heart is strong and pure---and may it continue being that way.[Eir was granted a new Blessing by the Goddess!] The presence vanished. Eir lifted his head and examined the gorgeous statue before him for some time before he headed to the Shrine's door. He stopped right before the exit, and held his hand against his shadowy chest. Thump. Thump. Thump. He stepped out--- "-come to think of it, when did I completed the Task...?" [Confused, Eir exits to The Spire...]

All that there was left in him was bitter sadness. He remembered bits and pieces, as his head bowed before the Goddess. Voices filled his mind, but they were barely there, whispering broken fragmented sentences he still could not understand.
But at least he had something.

(( I forgot to do these, but Zoo said it was ok to do them a little late. My 3 dropoffs for shrine for my Blessing of the Strong. )) Kiasako wasn't entirely sure what he'd done, or why. Other thant he goddess had requested it. So with that done, he slowly stepped in to the shrine and accepted the blessing from the goddess. That was enough for him.Mylisp trotted along lightly, steps light as she entered the shrine. She'd finished what she'd been asked to do, brilliantly so. Even left a nice pretty bag on a stand like she was asked. Without looking back in to see what it was she'd even gotten. She really was holding back that curiosity!
So when she knelt down and accepting her blessing she was more than a little pleased with herself. Downright jubilant to say the least.Lanaom wasn't sure entirely what had occurred in the darkened corners of the Goddesses area, merely that something had. Something involving filling that bag and losing the scissors along the way. Regardless, he was a bit on edge even as he stepped forth into the shrine once more, bowing his head as he accepted the blessing of the goddess.
What entirely had happened?

Viola'i entered the shrine at least a little hopeful. She wasn't sure how the outcome of her last task would affect the Goddess' granting of a blessing. She had technically failed, did that still mean she completed it though?
She stood under, hesitant for a moment until she felt the blessing fill and complete her. It felt nice, she was glad. Getting cut open hadn't taken away her chances. She received a blessing and some weird voices. Huh.
