While Sasselia was apologizing to her team, Richard's attention would turn to the two of them. Eira, the one in the white dress had been showing off her glowing wings was the only reason why he found them in the first place. The thing was that she did seem to be human. Her wings on the other hand...were they her semblance. Cause if that was the case, then that is freaking awesome. Though his thoughts were torn away from the subject by the other girl speaking. Did she just say husband and wife? His eye leaned towards Sasselia's who's hand he was still holding onto. Has he really been doing it this whole time? Quickly he took his own hand back realizing it. Before he could really say anything, two hands were pinching his cheeks. A look of shock came across the young man's face due to the such randomness. Once his face was free he let out a sigh of relief. It was only for a moment before the girl seemingly slung her arms around him. A slight blush did appear on the young man's face as this unknown girl as currently embracing him. A hand came up to his lips as he cover up a cough to clear his through. "I...uh...Don't mean to be rude...um...Koryn right?" He started off once he heard the girl's name from Eira. "Hugs are nice...but um cuddling..." His face got even brighter as a thought of cuddling a cute girl popped into his had. With a shake of his head he quickly took up a different demeanor. This one was a bit more stern, yet he spoke in a polite manner. "Its a nice to meet you as well. Richard by the way. Richard Vin Malsule." The young man made sure not to really hug the girl back. It was a little awkward just meeting her have her hanging off like this. Though a side of him wasn't going to exactly say to get off either, at least right away. Still his hands were visible not doing anything suspicious. "You have some interesting members Sasselia." He would say with a small grin.

"Would you like some candy Noah?"
"Remember that gives me a sore stomach Nova... "
"BOOOOOOORING!!"

- - Nova Primrose & Noah - -

Nova watched as Jessica collected Noah in her arms, she shrugged. "Just don't blame me if you get hairs on your dress!" she said, chuckling as she continued to drag them both to the dance floor. Nova listened to Ivory, he almost seemed disappointed to not be slow dancing, but that definitely wasn't Nova's cup of tea! She requested a faster paced tune that they would be able to dance too, and got excited when It came on. "This was my request!!!" she yelled as she started to break out some pretty awesome, yet pretty cringeworthy moves, laughing towards Ivory and Jessica as they joined her.

"This not your type of thing Ivory?!" she said, chuckling as she playfully punched him on the arm.. again. Nova could smell Feralis again, the scent was more strong. She then caught sight of the wolf, he was talking to the girl that Noah had fallen in love with - Maria?!

Suddenly Nova became slightly jealous, and huffed a little as she attempted to not make it too obvious. She wasn't sure but she thought that she had managed to catch eyes with him for a brief moment, and gave him a glare as she pointed her fingers to her eyes and then towards his - 'I'm watching you' could be read on her lips as she then brought her attention back to her team that were with her, smiling as she enjoyed the song and company.

Aaron's voice sounded from behind her and the tiny huntress blinked once before dropping her hand and letting the white whisps of hair fall back into her face to once again conceal the pearly white iris of her left eye and with it the lack of sight she had been hiding from everyone for so long. There was only one other person she had shown willingly, and even then, Charlotte had directly asked while they'd been squished in a changing room together. However, that was beside the point. Giving her head a light shake to clear such random thoughts away, silver locks tumbled about her chin, reflecting the light of the chandeliers that painted them all in a golden hue. With Molly's return she had almost completely forgotten about the slowly forming goose egg forming on her forehead. If the girl was anything, it was resilient. Which was honestly a relief considering just how much trouble she got herself into. Then again, her resilience was a trait earned through years if mistreatment. Often times she forgot that not everyone was quite as quick to get back up on their feet as she was. She had indeed hit Felix hard, hence the crimson welt splashed across her own forehead. However, he seemed pretty hard headed, which was likely why the remnants of their train wreck were written quite clearly over his face while he seemed completely intact. The real mystery was what really had his mind so boggled. Her memories that she had unknowingly shared with him through such a reckless form of physical contact. He was dropping clues here and there, sharing more information than he should really know, but Zylah was sufficiently distracted. Both with the ball of grey fluff that was Molly and the prospect of magic. Not to mention with the teasing and banter Felix was throwing at her. Zylah wasn't used to being on the recieving end. More often than not she was the one giving everyone a run for their money, but Felix was keeping good pace with her and she seemed to be enjoying the change. "I wouldn't call the police if I were you. I'm sure you would regret it." The phrase almost sounded like a threat, but the playful grin on her lips let on to her teasing. "If you turned me in you would miss out on an entire night of fun." Following such a playful remark would he a sight so accustom to Zylah. Tilting her head slightly to one side she flashed him a playful wink. Granted, the sight was a bit odd considering one eye was always hidden but the point was made clear by that signature smirk of hers.

As the concern of whether pets were really allowed on campus was brought to light, Zylah went on with her petting of the little cat on Felix's shoulder. She didn't seem too concerned with the prospect as Molly rubbed her furry face against her palm. If anything she looked excited by it. Glancing back at her date, a devilish grin lit up her face. "Now, Aaron, have I taught you nothing? It's always more fun if you break the rules." Such a remark of rebellion would be followed by a mischievous giggle. As always, it was unbefitting of her troublesome ways, much too adorably innocent. It was likely why she got away with as much as she did. After all, who would suspect the tiny huntress with such a doll-like expression of evil? Her team didn't know the true evil of her past, but they did know just how much trouble she could cause and just how false her innocence was in that regard. Felix, on the other hand, might be wondering what chaos had just sprung into his life, if he didn't already know. Currently, he knew more about Zylah than any other person on the face of the planet. A little fact that Zylah remained clueless to. Then again, she had a suspicion the mischief wouldn't bother him all that much. He seemed capable of just as much mayhem. With this little union, Team YAAZ and Team JOLD were going to have their work cut out for them. This suspicion was only confirmed with the comment that followed and the inkling trail of a story that would surely be in an interesting one. Letting out a soft laugh she scratched the cat gently under the chin. "Now, why doesn't that surprise me?" She laughed softly to herself. She was curious about it all, but it was a story for another day. Especially with the answer to the question they'd all been asking finally being revealed. Such a vague and fantasy-ridden response likely would have risen suspicion in anyone else. Zylah, as always, was different. That same child-like air surrounded her as a curious gleam lit that cerulean gaze of hers. Tilting her head while rising an eyebrow, there was no suspicion in her expression. Just a curiosity. "Magic, hm? Show me." No sooner would she make the request then it would be granted. The excitement on her face was unmistakable. A child-like wonder as she gazed upon Felix as he seemed to speak to Molly with no more than a gaze. As the cat followed whatever unheard commands she was given, Zylah just watched. She would blink once as a gloved finger met her nose, smirking at the boy and patiently awaiting whatever it was he had in store. Her gaze never left Molly as she walked along Flex's arm and Zylah literally went cross eyed to follow the little pink nose that smooshed into her own. Soft and cold. Blinking once more, a small laugh would escaped her lips before she would raise her hands up and clap in delight. "Would you look at that, you're a magic man after all."

With such a neat trick to behold, she had almost forgotten that she didn't know the boy's name. She also seemed perfectly content with the idea of co tinuing to call him magic man. Without his real name, what was she supposed to do? However, just as he seemed ready to answer her question, someone stepped in. A girl would rush to his side, main of platinum hair streaking behind her. There was worry written on her face and a strange black haze surrounding her. Gazes would meet for just a fraction of a second before her concern was returned back to Felix, who she could now assume was her brother. Felix seemed quick to brush it all off, though he was making a rather urgent gesture behind his sister's back. One that begged they not speak of what had just happened in the colliding of heads, clued at only by the tender pink mark plastered across her pale forehead. She found it a bit odd that he would want to keep it a secret. With no real understanding of the ability he referred to as magic, Zylah didn't understand how dangerous it could really be. Still, she wasn't about to rat him out either. Zylah was a mischievous one, but she was also good with secrets. Clearly, otherwise she wouldn't be standing where she was. Or rather, sitting on the floor in the middle of a ballroom, the black lace of her dress sprawled out around her. It was Aaron who first caught on to the true identity of the pair in front of him. Members if Team JOLD, the team they were supposed to be meeting. Funny that she would ram head first into a guy she was bound to meet at some point tonight anyway. Fate, fickle in its impatience. Blinking in surprised confusion at his next comment, she tilted her head to one side as he mentioned Char and her previous comment to Aaron. "Wait... how did you know that?" She was rather adept most of the time, but also easily sidetracked. Her mind was veered off course once more as he mentioned Luina's boyfriend. Zylah had never met Jazz, but she had shared many girly conversations with her blue-haired captain about him. "Can I call him that to?" She asked, a wide grin spreading on her lips. Even though she asked permission, it could be assumed that being told no wouldn't stop her. If her mad dash for Molly wasn't proof enough, once she had her mind set on something there wasn't much that could stop her.

As Felix would move to stand, Molly would make her way to Zylah's shoulders, which clearly enthralled the tiny huntress on the floor. It almost distracted her from the pain that errulted over Felix's face. Almost. She stared at him both in concern and confusion, but she had a feeling it wasn't something she should bring up with his sister so near. Then again, Ora seemed pretty distracted, starting off into the room as if she were looking for something. Whatever it was that caused him pain, it would surely only cause the little sheep more concern for her brother and Zylah had a nagging suspicion it also had something to do with this magic of his. A magic his sister didn't want him to use. So she was quiet, until Felix offered a hand and a teasing comment. Rather than be offended, she looked pleased with herself and his witty comment. He wasn't wrong in his statement. The girl probably should have come with a warning label attatched, but she was nothing without her wild antics and she took pride in them. "Hey now, one man's hazard is another man's fun." She responded back without missing a beat, returning that wink of his with a playful smirk. Placing a delicate hand within his own, she couldn't have quite been prepared for the force of the yank that came. Not only was she pulled directly to her feet, but his over calculated strength brought her tumbling right into his chest. For a second time that day. At least they didn't fall over this time, though she did have to wrap her free arm around him for a moment to help gain her footing with that gimp leg of hers. What followed next would be a sight so unlike Zylah, one might have to question themselves whether it actually happened. It was just a momentary thing, easily missed in the blink of an eye, but the faintest of pink colors filled her cheeks. She was actually blushing, but whether that be to the embarrassment of her clumsiness that broken leg was causing, or that she had actually been flustered after clinging to Fleix, was hard to say. The girl usually had much better footing, but she also usually paid no mind to personal space, always ending up too close for anyone's comfort without so much as blinking an eye. Glancing back at Aaron for a moment before dropping her gaze to the floor, it was surely an odd sight, but she brushed it off in a moment. Grinning up at Felix and his comment regarding her height. "Packaged for convenience!" Or maybe, so that no one saw her coming.

Both of thm on solid ground, bum legs, phantom and real alike, planted firmly beneath them, Zylah would take a step back but as hands dropped back to their sides his fingers would remain laced between hers. She didn't fight it either, keeping her fingers curled around his. It wasn't uncommon for Zylah to just go grabbing people by the hand, but she couldn't help but wonder if Felix shared that similarity or if she was a special exception. With both of them upright, he seemed to remember he still had a set of introductions left. He had introduced them to his sister, but not the other way around. Smirking at his own explanation of her, she looked completely unabashed at the teasing. Rather she had a look about her that said, 'sure am!'. She was a mess perhaps, but she was well aware and not the least bit ashamed of it. It all went back to her philosophy that the mischief made things more fun. Certainly it made them more interesting. It was a point that was always being proven: there was never a dull moment with Zylah around. "Team YAAZ at your service." The comment was followed by a little salute directed at Felix and Ora. However, just as things were beginning to settle, Molly seemed to have other ideas. Zylah watched the interaction between the cat perched on her shoulders and her owner with a look of curiosity. She seemed to have justified Felx's unique ability as quite literally as being magic, for that was the word she mumbled under her breath as he seemed to almost read the cat's mind. There was a moment if distress and then the cat was gone, bouncing from her shoulders and back through the crowd. Fleix was striding forward, his hand tightening around her ow as he tugged her along with him. Fun sized maybe, but she could have probably stopped him if she had really wanted too. At the least she could have wriggled her hand free. Rather than either of those options, she looked enthused by the idea of another wild goose chase through the ball, so instead she followed suit. Clinging to his hand tightly, she pushed through the crowd without hesitation, just as she had the first time. "If I catch her first, you have to show me another magic trick." She teased, winking at him out if the corner of her eye as she dashed forward, whether he was ready or not. Zylah was quite used to ignoring the throbbing in her leg. The phantom pains were all new to him, not to mention, he was suddenly working with half if the vision.

Ridley couldn't help the laugh that escaped her lips at Azura's comment. Nodding in agreement she glanced over at Adam and then Cecil in turn. "Good luck trying to dance with caramel you big goofs. Now I get Azura all to myself. Who's the real winner?" The mischievous gleam in her golden orbs was enough to say it was just teasing, but it could be assumed Ridley would drag Azura off at some point in the night, to dance like a couple of of idiots, even if it was just to hold true to her previous statement. After all, it wasn't unlike Ridley to go to such lengths and as someone who didn't care for the opinions of others, it's not as if she would be worried about whatever thoughts the rest of the students would have. However, before much else could be said on the matter, they were back to the puns. Well, Adam and Ridley were. He was breathing slowly, clearly fighting back laughter. The huntress-in-training looked rather pleased with her slew of autumn themed puns, but Adam one upped her once more. She didn't even bother holding back her laughter. She found herself smiling at the idea of him being the punking and her his queen. However, she quickly pushed the thought away before the heat could rise in her cheeks, as it always did after such unexplainable thoughts. "You win, Adam. You are the true pun master. Now you just need a crown." She teased, admitting defeat just this once and going as far as to wave a pretend white flag as a sign of her surrender. After all, he might have held the victory in the puns but her pineapple torture was still going strong. It was always a nose-to-nose race with the two of them. Impossible to name a true winner. A never ending game of teasing and banter and while she might have submitted willingly now, it just meant she would come back fists blazing when the time was right.

Not long after the puns came to an end, Cecil finally stood and offered a hand to Azura. She couldn't hold back the grin or the playful wink that she tossed at the two as they walked hand-in-hand towards the dance floor. "Be good you two. Don't do anything I wouldn't do." Ridley joked, letting out a laugh at her own comment. She wasn't a bad person, but she probably wasn't the best example either. She was known to be a fiery volcano that could erupt at any moment and it was never pleasant for whoever that inferno was aimed at. Not to mention her mischievous and chaotic ways. That was the exact irony of her comment and she nickered to herself about it as she watched her teammates walk away, for but a moment before returning her gaze to Adam's dramatic sniffling. "Yeah, what are you even doing here you old fart? Isn't it past your bed time?" Laughing once more she leaned back in her chair, smirking at him, clearly ready for whatever comeback he wanted to throw her way. They were alone at their table once more, left to their own shenanigans, but honestly, when did that ever really stop? However, that exact moment, source as it might be, would come, not that she was complaining about it. Rather it made her heart speed up in her chest for some unknown reason. Then came that compliment and she found that same nervous flutter return to her chest. Those same feelings that so often arose when moments like this were shared between them. They were unfamiliar feelings, ones she couldn't explain and ones she hadn't fully addressed, for many reasons. She was so unused to being nervous, to actually caring enough to worry what someone might think. Adam was a special exception to the rule and just like all the other emotions swirling inside of her, she couldn't quite explain it.

Realizing she had been quiet a moment too long, she smiled up at him. "It would be an honor, my good sir." Returning to that same formal accent she'd used earlier, she winked playfully up at him before placing her hand gently in his. Pushing herself to her feet, she couldn't help but laugh to herself at the several inches he held on her. Even with the added height of her heels he could probably look right over the top of her head without so much as craning his neck. A small smile remained upon her lips as she began walking towards the dance floor in the same direction Azura and Cecil had gone. Hand-in-hand, just as they had been. It was hard to ignore the feelings in her chest. She kept finding her mind falling back to how warm his hand was grasped within her own. It was even more-so difficult to suppress the nerves that were sending her heart racing. A tiny dove, wings beating so desperation against its cage as it fought for freedom. It was so unlike anything she'd ever felt. An action such as a racing heart, so familiar, yet made anew by the reasons behind it. Reasons completely foreign to her. It was so vastly different from fear, or anger, or even adrenaline. It made it impossible to fight the smile from her lips but even harder to explain it. A speechless Ridley, now that was a truly remarkable sight. The raven haired girl, bold and daring, always had something to say and she never bothered holding it back. This was yet another exception to the rule.

"You won't hate me if I step on your toes, right?" The question was a joke, simple teasing, but there was some truth behind it, maybe even the slightest inkling of a warning hidden within the words. Never once had Ridley found herself in the situation that she need to know how to dance. Never once had she had the opportunity to even learn. It probably wouldn't have mattered because she would have tossed it to the wind just like all the other things she'd found unnecessary up until now, but she was suddenly regretting not asking Azura about this. Somehow it hadn't occurred to her until now... and now was much too late. It didn't look that complicated, simple swaying and turning, mixed with the occasional twirl. A step to the back, to the side, the forward again forward again. That was manageable, song as she remembered the order. So golden eyes analyzed the shuffling feet of the others dancers, as if she could depict the movements and commit them to memory without ever having participated in such an act herself. Combat was something she had picked up quickly. It had always come naturally to her. She hoped this proved to be the same with dancing... or at the very least Adam didn't mind. Perhaps he was just as inexperienced as she was and they could just be a couple of blundering fools together. "I hate to break it to you, but I was never really the princess type." The statement was beyond obvious. She may have been wearing a beautiful dress fit for a fairytale, but it was a stark contrast to her usual attire. Black pants, boots, something fiercely Ridley. She had always had her own way of going about things, and it wasn't something she would change or be ashamed of, but now she found herself wondering if maybe she should have paid closer mind to the tips her mother had once tried to teach her. Maybe it would have come in handy. Just like the case if asking Azura for advice, it was much too late now. Years too late in this case. So she was just going to have to wing it.

Cecil smiled as Azura took his hand, walking with him out to the dance floor as others began to join in. He slowly heard her question and smiled at her before he soon said, "Back in my school before coming here, I did managed to learn a bit about dancing." He told her before he turned to face her, blushing faintly himself, the only color change his face ever did as he gently grasped one of her hands while his free hand moved to gently rest upon her shoulder blade, stepping back as he waited for her hands. "I know some ballroom dancing and a little bit of the tango if we want to change it up." He told her with a small red face.

XXXIt was all a sequence, a pattern of combat that she would burn to memory as she did any other method of training. With each step she got a bit faster, with each push a bit smoother. Moments flew by in an instant as grains of sand in the desert breeze. The young woman had never been given a chance to experience the act of dancing, but the movements seemed quite similar to those of combat. They were all physical actions of the body in order to accomplish a task, akin to practicing moves and techniques in order to seamlessly weave them together in a combo attack. In that same mentality, each move had to be repeated to perfection before moving onto the next. Yui was prepared to commit herself to the same movements one hundred times over before adding the fourth step into it, only to repeat the same process. Despite the lack of sword in her hand, she was in her element, the same element she spent the entirety of her childhood. It seemed that though Yui was dedicated to continuing the same movements throughout the night, Garret thought she was ready for something more. "... Lioncourt's train maneuverability with their wings from the day they can walk. An incredible weakness, but they open a world of opportunity if they can get over that obstacle." Her words held little emotion, presented as a fact above anything else. It was another memory that was engraved in her memory, an obstacle course that was designed for their wings to snag on or interfere. Maneuverability and flexibility with what was clearly the largest part of them were essential for the training and survival of a Lioncourt. That being said, she was a very clumsy child with her wings. Countless vases and sculptures were broken from her wings mercilessly ramming into them. Anecdote aside, she would begin following his led to intermix the spin and folding of her wings. At first, feathers would graze against him as she failed to fold them in far enough. Each failure left her annoyed as blue hues grew more serious, each attempt causing her to tuck them in farther until she could pull off a seamless spin without so much a feather out of place. In a combat style that was formed around elegance, spinning to regain balance was something that came more naturally, it was only the close quarters that caused some issues to arise. "Take flight..." She'd whisper softly, repeating his words as they moved to the next sequence. She was supposed to tuck away her wings so tight, then release them in a burst? Surely such a flourish display was merely for show. This task was a little more difficult, cycling back and forth in wingspans when the spins arose. At first, it seemed as if her wings weren't spreading wide enough, either that or not releasing enough force. It wasn't as impactful as it should've been. It was oddly straining, as well. To release her wings with such force, trying to match that of the same display she showed when she first entered the ball. It wasn't until the seventh or eighth attempt that a true impact was made, a gust of wind that caught the attention of other couples dancing around them. ... That was it, that was its purpose. It was an attention grabber, just as her entrance to the ball was. To make a more prominate display in order to focus all eyes on them. "I'm... startingt to understand.

Just as before, the sequence was repeated time and time again, this time to incorporate the functionality of her wings. It was additional substance to the movements, as well as made it much more tiring to perform. While the steps before were simple, the exertion of her wings to propel herself in the spin had been taxing, but well worthwhile. It took patience and control in the midst of advancing her steps to find a proper balance between the wing tucking and flapping, so that she didn't expend too much energy before the dance itself was ready to perform. Tucking her wings tight behind her back, she would return to flight one last time before Garret began to slow his steps and bring her to a halt. Interlocking with orbs of golden amber were serious blue hues with a touch of confusion, why were they stopping? Before, he had instructed them as they moved and pushed them forward. Why did the training stop here? The desert world that she imagined around them would fade to black as the presence of the ball returned. She no longer felt the heat of the blistering sun, instead feeling a crisp cool air against her skin as the uproarous sounds of students and jazz clamored against her eardrums. She, however, would be unable to voice such a question as he was far too quick to pick up a response in anticipation. Hues of blue would narrow into an uneasy expression, the girl herself being thrown off kilter in her mentality at the seriousness in his tone. "Feel the music? ... I don't believe I'm following properly." To match her own confusion, Garret himself seemed to be dissatisfied with his own response. As he took a moment to explain it more in depth, she found herself starting to understand ... Only starting to, however. It was a concept she wasn't quite familiar with herself, though perhaps she could find a way to cause it to blend similar to what she's done with combat. After committing the actions to memory, burning them into her very core, she would find herself letting go with the flow of battle. In combat, she relied on a spark that chained everything together to flow so seamlessly. It was a course that caused her actions to flow together so elegantly, as all Lioncourt's are trained to do. "I... think I've grasped the concept. Focus less on the actions itself, relying on sound and instinct to take hold. Allow leniency and trust, as the actions are burned to memory ... Act." There was a chance that wasn't quite what the man meant, but it was the closest thing that Yui could associate it with. Focusing on the combatant and breathing, then everything else will come naturally. Only here, breathing was instead accompanied by the sound of music; a rhythm to feel she was meant to feel in her core.

Yui's narrowed gaze would soften at Garret's crack of a joke, only now realizing that she was beginning to miss the arrogance he radiated after being suppressed for so long. Eyelids would close on blue hues as she took in a deep breath, nodding softly at Garret's words. "Focus on you and the beat alone... A three-step pulse. Nothing else." With her soft-spoken words, her deep breath would slowly exhale. As the breath escaped her lips, the clamor of students around her began to fade as the beat of the music surrounding them amplified so. Soft hues would be visible once more, locking onto the golden amber of Garret's. Once again, she existed in a hyperreality of her own imagination. This time, however, it was an empty ballroom with no students or tables. Just her and the man that stood before her, eardrums listening closely for the three-step beat. One... Two... Three. This time she was the one advancing, the one attacking. With her right step forward, she would strike with her replica spear of embers, represented with her hand pressing against his shoulder. Bracing herself in her lung, she would step in place with her left as he prepared his counter, a pivot. Her spear had been cast aside as he charged forward with his left foot once more, reclaiming her conquered land as she stepped back with her right. This sequence would repeat again and again, but with each step, the threat of combat began to fade. A gaze so serious, pale blue hues began to soften as she inhaled once again. No longer was she striking with a spear, but stepping forward with the first beat. An expression that melted to a state of calmness as she stepped in place, only to step back with her right once again in perfect unison with that of Garret. What was life or death combat began a challenge of keeping pace, of staying in unison while she lost herself to the beat. Now the real challenge came, and that was the spin returning once more. A new step in the beat, that went past that of the three-step motion. As Garret reclaimed his space once more, Yui would raise her hand, fingers gently latched with his. His hand would be raised over her head as her wings tucked tightly behind her, head ducking low enough so that her bun and rose wouldn't knick his arm as she began the spin. After the third spin, their hands intertwined would glide down the back of her neck and tug her hair. However, she was not ready to flap her wings. Her free hand would reach across their waists, tugging against his own free hand as she spun across him, releasing the former. From there, she'd guide his newly ensnared hand above her head once more and repeat the same spin. This time, as she stopped and guided his hand down the back of her hair, she'd let his arm gently wrap around her neck before spreading her wings wide in a powerful flap. One that kicked up a breeze, only to resume her place in front of him once more. Her expression was soft, calm, with blue hues that seemed almost eager, or excited. Even she herself wasn't sure what happened near the end, as she flowed with him into two spins. She just found herself getting lost in the motions, with the rhythm... It seemed with her gaze that she was ready for more, to get lost with the beat once again.

Charlotte Aoyama

[ P O S T ]

Charlotte Flickered her attention back to Jazz and forced a smile onto her features. Even if her eyes gave away the turmoil of emotions behind her. Unlike normal. She didn't even seem to know how to react to the family and gift comment being in the same sentence. Not really. Heck she only really got her dress from Zylah. Through her eyes flickered towards Lena. Charlotte was feeling… Confused. And it showed until she managed to force at least one wall up. ”Oh. That must be nice. And what is a more revealing outfit?.. Once in a blue? But it is not blue? Should i go get some paint???” And finally her tone was back to her normal serious demeanor.

The conversation then moved onto the other ‘team’ That Ora had darted off to join. Heck she just seemed to stay silent. Her eyes flickering between Aaron Zylah and Felix. Her right hand moving to cover her chest a little. Mostly over the heart area before she fluttered her semblance on and off. It was only around her for a brief second… What had she done? Force her own heart to slow down. Force herself to control her own emotions. Even now her eyes slowly drifted back over to Jazz and lunia. Only to drift towards their hands and the embrace. ”I like Lunia leading.. I... you lot go to the dance. I'll join later? I.. wish to eat first.” She flickered her eyes over to Lunia fully now. Her mouth opening to reply as she struggled with the whirlwind circling inside of her. ”I… Do not know…” It was a honest response.

Charlotte’s entire body tensed up however as she felt her scroll vibrate. Her right hand reached into her little pouch and pulled it out. Her eyes lighting up even a little as she seemed to hit a button and a slowly moving multi colour image popped up. A slight smile even forming on the fanus’s face. ”I.. Yeah Lunia... Go dance with your boyfriend... I'll record it?” She fluttered her eyes back over to lunia and offered a quick smile. She even managed to change the scroll over to the camera option. Though she did push the our dates part as she took that as Zylah and lunias dates. Why was those facts hurting. Though she was now forcing herself to not show it.

Amethyst eyes would linger on Jenetel as he made his way towards the gazebo. Long enough to catch most of their interaction before watching them disappear into the crowd towards the ballroom and thus the dance floor. It was only then, moments after they were long since out of sight, that she would let out a long, soft huff of air. A breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding in. One that likely got caught in her throat, tightened by nerves. Night breeze was cold on her flushed cheeks, but it was refreshing rather than chilling. It brought a sense of relieve to her earmes face and a bit of clarity to her clouded mind. Sucking.in a breath of cool air, she tried to slow her breathing and steady the anxious dove that had taken shelter within her chest. A breath in, a breath out. She tried to make it steady, rhythmic, but to no avail. That nervous flutter in her chest kept causing her heart to stutter in such an odd fashion and her stomach to flip in the strangest of ways. Breathless and pink-cheeked, but she felt as if she were floating on a cloud. Lighthearted. For once she had been brave enough to confront Jentel and bold enough to speak her mind. The jellyfish didn't even seem bothered by the fact that Jentel had left to dance with another girl after confessing such deep emotions. To her it was sweet, a man standing by his word. Besides, she still stood by the fact that Anjanette deserved a night free from whatever darkness was lurking in her past. Truthfully, she was so enthralled by the tender moments she had just shared with Jentel, there wasn't much of anything that could get her down now.

However, that thought process brought about another realization. Something she had thought of earlier but hadn't actually had the chance to process in the heat of the moment. There had been too many other thoughts and emotions swirling through an overcrowded mind to be even the least bit concerned with it. The fact that Feng had overheard such an intimate conversation between herself and Jentel caused the heat to rush right back into her cheeks. Violet eyes widened in panic as she dropped her chin, letting long strands of pastel hair fall over her shoulder to conceal the blush filling her cheeks. Really she shouldn't have been caught off or even embarrassed. At least, not any more embarrassed than she already had been. Feng had already managed to catch on to Dani's feelings towards Jentel. Long before she had even addressed them fully herself. That's what had started this whole fiasco. Their tiny terror of a captain marching across the ballroom to yell at Jentel's date and spit on her shoes. Brash maybe, but she had been doing to protect Dani and that still rung loud in her head. Not to mention the fact she had de-pantsed a man to keep him from interrupting the confessions going on between her teammates. It took her a moment to find her voice again, but once she had, she peeked over at Feng, still slightly red in the face. "Thank you... for everything." It might have been a good time for girl tall, but talking clearly wasn't Dani's strong suit and she wasn't really sure if girly conversations fell into Feng's interests. Even if they did... where would Daenerys even start? How would she even begin to express the tidal wave of emotions that was consuming her?

It could have been minutes or hours, it was hard to say in the strange inconsistent flow the universe had been taking, but eventually Jentel and his date emerged from the crowd once more. He had a giggling Ajanette on his back and even between the distance and the mask concealing his face, Dani could read the embarrassment on his face. He was trying to make the best of things, give her a night she enjoyed. It caused a small smile to tug on her lips as they retreated back towards the gazebo. Daenerys was a patient person, and so she would let them have their moment to converse. Amethyst gaze would drift off into the distance, peeking up in the brink if time to see Jentel walking towards her and Ajanette giggle behind him. Her breath caught in her throat and panic grasped her heart. It seemed the full extent of what was about to happen had only just sunk in. It had been a long time since Dani had danced. Back on the island, with her brother and father, skipping along the beach. Vrace was something she only managed in sparse moments that she was completely calm, when she though no one was looking. However, more often than not she was riddled with nerves that stiffened her joints and caused her to trip over her own feet. She fell, knocked things over, often causing more damage to herself than she liked to admit. Both physically and mentally, bruising what little sense of dignity she managed to cling to.

"Feng... w-what if I t-trip? Or... or st-step on his toes?" The panic was clear in her voice, even if it was just barely an audible whisper. Violet hues would remain locked on Jentel's as he grew ever closer. There was something else mingling with the panic. That warm fluttery feeling that often consumed her when he was near. In moments like this. A small, nervous smile would touch her lips. A pale, delicate hand raising just so, thin fingers twirling ever so slightly in what was the smallest and most timid of waves. There was something akin to excitement swirling in her chest, mixed in with the nerves and the fear and all those other conflicting emotions. Every step he took closer her heart beat quickened, until that little dove was racing just as quickly as it had been earlier. There was the dear that it might just explode with so many feelings. After all, who knew just how things would escalate during a dance between the two on a romantic night such as this.

The wolf's comeback was not surprising, though he had managed to hold his tongue longer than she had anticipated. The biting of her tongue was a skill the lioness severely lacked in but one she'd also never made any effort towards improving. To her it was a waste of time with absolutely no point to it. She knew Feralis was biting his tongue for Maria's sake, though words had never been his preferred course of action. It was thanks to Kendall's not stop badgering and insulting of every individual who was met with the unfortunate circumstances of crossing paths with her that he had to step up his game. Still, there was no doubt that were it not for Maria they would have dissolved to teeth and claws tearing into each other's flesh as they so often did. "What would you know of that dog? Hm? In case you've forgotten, you weren't here." Now that was a low blow, even for Kenna, but it's not like he had hesitated to aim a punch right where he knew it would hurt the most. Maria was the only person Kenna actually cared about, the only good thing in her life, and so insinuations that the lion was useless in helping her friend stung as much as they doused the glowing embers in gasoline. Even if she knew they were true. There was nothing she could do to help Maria's health and she despised that fact almost as much as she loathed that husk of a human, Eteria. So if Feralis found it suitable to rub shards of glass into an open wound, she wasn't going to hesitate to do just the same. One might remind her to be the better person, to take to the high road, but Kenna was oast that. She knew she wasn't a good person, but she made no attempt to be. She had tried that path and look where it had gotten her. Look where it had gotten her parents. Maria. The world was a beast that devoured kindness, riteousnes, weakness. It worked to snuff out any light bold enough to shine. It was survival of the fittest. Kill or be killed. So maybe her heart was in the right place, even if it was blackened by years of hardship. She often just worked towards the right goals in the wrong ways without much regard ro who got hurt along the way.

No sooner had she taken to Maria's other side than a familiar voice sounded beside them. A voice that also caused her blood to boil, though no one would ever truly be able to compete with the steaming ragw Feralis's presence brought. "You've got to be shitting me." She hissed in annoyance, thoughthere was something akin to a lopsided smirk causing the corner of her lip to just bare twitch at Allister's new nickname for Feralis. Sure, she loathed Allister on a good day, but if he wanted to toss some dirt at the wolf Kenna would sit back and enjoy it... before taking part herself. It wasn't so much his mocking of such a tender reunion that agitated her, but rather the words and the nickname that were directed towards her that caused her cheeks to flush in anger. "And here I was thinking you were going to go get yourself killed... Suffice to say I'm even more disappointed." She spat the words viciously, venom practically dripping from her voice. With the words came a threatening glare, eyes of liquid mercury flashing dangerously his way. Given his past shenanigans, those were likely words she should have steered clear from, but it clearly hadn't stopped th lion. As always, crossing lines that should never be crossed. "You promised me a show, freakshow. Figure if I had to come to this damned thing I might as well get my money's worth." A devilish smirk, or rather a sneer, touched the lions lip, silver eyes flashing. The statement was indeed false, she was still here because of Maria. It didn't mean she wanted to be here and it certainly didn't mean she enjoyed it... but she would suffer through it for Maria's sake.

Now, of all the agitation Allister always brought with him, it was the next event that topped it all. As smooshed himself between them all, arms slinging over Feralis's shoulder as well as her own, her entire body went rigid. Jaw clenched tightly, her freehand balled into a fist so tight her knuckles turned white. Kenna absolutely hated being touched, something that Allister had no doubt picked up in these last couple of weeks and surely something he used against her every chance he got. Now was ideal because her arms were a bit tied up, which meant he didn't have to worry about the lioness clawing his eyes right out if his skull. "Don't. F***ing. Touch. Me." The feline was seething, each word spoken clearly and directly, seeping with fury. White hot rage pumped through her veins, steely hues narrowing as she addressed him. She was a predictor ready to attack and it all came back down to one individual, as it so often did. Maria. If it wasn't for the crippled girl held in her arms, Kenna would not have hesitated to tackle the white haired boy to the ground and serve him a harsh and likely gruesome fate. A hiss of air passed through her teeth, eyes closing as she attempted to fight back her anger and regain her composure. "Don't you dare think even for a moment that I won't kick you right where the sun doesn't shine." She warned, voice still stiff but sounding at least slightly more controlled than it had a moment ago. The boy seemed to guess her intentions and just as quickly as he had latched onto them, he was out of reach once more. Her previous rage and consumed her so entirely, causing her to miss out on most of what he had said about this so called family of theirs. If she had heard, it could be assumed she would have a mouthful of objections to it all if she had, especially the cutsie nickname.

With that, the bat was walking away raving on about some twisted plan of his. It was fairly evident he had some devious schemes in mind. If that cackle of his wasn't enough, there was that deceivingly giddy grin of his. Honestly, whatever he was up to, Kenna didn't really care. If they were lucky, whatever he had up his sleeve really would put this ridiculous affair to an end and they could all go back to their dorms. "He's insane. Just ignore everything he says." Her response to Feralis's question was surprisingly passive. Shockingly it lacked her usual abrasive tone as well as the insults that often followed. Surely it wouldn't last, but she was at least attempting to keep the peace long enough to give Maria a night she truly deserved. While the lion wasn't the least bit concerned with what the bat was about to do, the blue-hair girl was, as was her robot. Prism was quick to chase after the boy, much to Kenna's delight. She hated that thing. The only joy she eoukd get out of it was the fact that Feralis would hate it just as much, if not more. She wasn't one to shy away from relishing in the wolf's despair. She never even felt guilty about it afterwards, but she honestly wasn't sure if it was worth it in this case. Kenna had never been to keen on technology and the neanderthal that was Feralis even less so. Hence Kenna's lack of urgency in finding her scroll. She had almost forgotten about it until mentioned it when the first arrived, and again, until he mentioned it before rushing after Allister. She sighed softly at the remark, not seeing any real point in its retrieval and dreading the idea of having to meet new people to obtain it.

Kenna hated the robot but his presence was something she had grown used to over the past couple of weeks. As much as she hated it, as much as even Maria hated it, she was fairly dependent upon the hunk of metal. Her condiction called for it. She hated that she needed it to go about even the simplest of daily tasks. She hated the metallic voice that tried to mimic what once was but failed in its static. She hated everything about it, but she had at least been given the time to come to terms with it. Feralis, on the other hand, hadn't even seemed to fully comprehend its purpose. "She's worse off then you think." The words were simple. Blunt and too the point, as always. She knew it wasn't something either of them would want to hear, let alone, but she saw no use in pretending. What use was denying a truth written plainly before them? Hidden beneath layers of cold bitterness was something much more vulnerable. Regret. Pain. Fear. Fear that they really wouldn't find a solution for Maria. That she should pass and Kenna would be left complety and utterly alone. That's all she would say on it for the moment. She wasn't sure how much she should say. After all, itbwas Maria's business. However, without Prism talking wouldnt be very possible. Kenna couldn't be considered an interpreter, but perhaps she would be able to pick up on enough of the signs to at least somewhat make sense of things.

Yenna's words were one that tugged on the heart. Once that he knew would tug in Cali's heart as well. The girl new better than anyone that family didn't always have anything to do with blood. Eli had seen first hand the horrendous abuse and neglect her parents had put the young girl through. All for an ability she was born with. Something she didn't have any say in. Something that could be dangerous, but could also be controlled. Something Eli had always believed could be controlled with enough effort. They had now both witnessed that fact firsthand. Cali had found a family within Eli himself and his parents who had taken the small child under their wing. So many fond memories had been shared between the four of them within the confines if a small house on the edge if town and a large, grassy yard where they all played. Tender memories turned bittersweet by a cruel fate in which that family was ripped apart. Parents slaughtered and two small children left on their own in a cruel world. Noone to care for them, no one to look out for them, no one to protect them but each other. Cali had been so worried about coming to Beacon. So worried that she would be shunned and outed just as she always had been. Eli was nervous initially as well, not that he would have ever admitted it. He had been ready to fight off the pointing, the shaming, the harsh words, but he hadn't wanted to submit her to any mire negativity. So far, it had been nothing of their sort. Their wonderful teammates were nothing but accepting and here they were, huddled together to work to cheer a fallen companion up. Maybe they really were on their way to being a little family. The thought itself made Eli smile.

With comforting words came the teasing and the laughter and the mention of certain sleeping arrangements. The spider had to bite down on his own lip to keep from laughing for he knew something that Cali didn't. Something he could tell she was suspicious about by the look on her face. There had been times, on the rare occasion, that he had gotten up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night only to find Nox in his spot. Only, in his half asleep state he never realized until morning. Which left the snake sandehiched between Cali and himself. Eli always woke her before Cali woke, not out of embarrassment but because once Cali was awake, her semblance was too, and Eli didn't want their captain to be faced with the same damage he had time and time again. It was something he was used to, something he didn't mind in the slightest because it was all worth it, but that was Eli, always trying to protect everyone. On nights that Nox joined them, Yenna found herself lonely without her usual cuddle buddy, so even the little bunny had slipped into their bed from time to time. At this rate they should probably just press the two twin mattresses together, rather than trying to fit themselves into one. It was an amusing thought however, though he wasn't sure that Cali would feel the same. He knew her well enough to know that initially she would be embarrassed, so he kept it to himself for the time being.

With their operation a success, the little rabbit threw her arms around them before flashing a teary eyed grin. Broad arms would return the shared group hug, doing his best to wind around his entire team and with that, they were off. They had to hurry if they were going to keep Cali's dignity intact. Eli couldn't help but chuckle at Nox's reaction to his previous teasing about needing someone to drive the coach. The mock look of offense on her face as they easily went back and forth in this playful banter. Despite the playful tone, the spider was fairly certain if he had actually referred to her as something akin to prey, she would be a fair bit more than displeased. It was something to take not of, but for now he was enjoying the back and forth humor. "Of course I don't actually think you're a mouse. I'm not a fairy but in cases like this we just have to improvise un situations like this." Eli stated with a rather dapper and matter-of-fact tone, before chuckling once more a d tossing a genuine Eli smirk her way. As they walked pieces of Cali's dress would fall to the ground, as would bits of his own sleeve as well as his glove, leaving him looking a little ragged but still intact. His bare arm would brush against hers and he knew that a slowly forming rash would soon irritate his skin, but he also didn't seem the slightest bit concerned with it. He was more so concerned with the reactions of the girls as they spotted his own handiwork.

A proud grin would spread on his lips as they took it all in, but both Yenna and Nox rose valued points. "Oh, I have my ways." He would answer, a mysteriously mischievous air to his tone. In truths his ways of obtaining clothing and the like hadn't always been ideal. He had to resort to thieving, and while Cali was aware, he would never let her on to just how much. It was something he had tried to keep her away from. He had always insisted in doing it himself because he knew how it would effect her. It wasn't something he was proud of, but it wasn't something he regretted either. They were young and orphaned with no one to take them in, so they resorted to the only option that they had. Eli always picked his targets carefully, never taking from people or businesses that were already struggling. It was more high risk, but those sticky webs if his gave him an advantage. Speaking of. Cali raised a question on that topic. A wide grin spread on his lips as he thought back on the white haired woman who had approached him in a little dress shop weeks ago. She had seen a little trick of his just outside and had brought to his attention a deal that would benefit the both of them. She was in the need of a durable material suitable for dress making, and he was in need of dresses. "Lafelle is her name, she's a little over the top... but I think you would like her. I let her use my silk for some other projects and in turn she gifted me with these." Really it was an ideal situation. The woman had even let him show her dresses he thought Cali would like so she had an idea. Between dance lessons from Felix and dress making with this woman. It seemed Eli had been up to more than any of them had kown in order to make this night perfect for Cali. How he had managed to find the time for it all was a mystery. As was how he'd managed to self-talk the staff into letting him use this closet. Only one thing could he said for certain, Eli was a charmer.

Feeling Cali's arms winding tightly around him, he knew he had succeeded in his task and that's all that really mattered to him. She was truly the most important piece of his life... if she could be described as just a piece. She was his entire world and even the smallest smoke from her was worth the mist extreme bits if effort. Returning her hug with a gentle squeeze he would lean down and press his lips gently to the top of her head, lingering there for a moment and breathing in such a sweetly familiar scent. "Bippity bobbity boo is my forte." He teased, chuckling softly. "Now you to have fun. Nox and I will be out here guarding the door." Once they were inside, he would share one last smile with Cali before the door was shut. With that he would back up against the wall, leaning against it. It was quiet between him and his captain for a moment, but Eli had something to say. Something he had taken note if earlier. "Thank you for being so accepting of her. She... well, she's been through a lot and it honestly means the world to her. To me as well." Because her happiness was his happiness and as silly as it might sound, Cali needed this. She needed the acceptance and the support. Eli did his very best to be her everything, but there was a void he couldn't quite fill. One that Nox and Yenna just might.

While being caught by Danaë with his fingers interlocked with her brother wasn't exactly what Maru would call an exciting evening, the night was still shaping up to be one for the scrapbook and for all the wrong reasons. Komaru and Asger stood there, both frozen in fear before after a small tug freed them both. His hands went to his chest, the boy muttered to himself as he twiddled with his fingers. Hopefully the owl huntress wouldn't be too upset after their last meeting. They had gotten off on friendly terms, after all. So there was nothing to worry about!

"Komaru was it?"

Nope. That tone was as bitter as those extremely sour candies he so loved. Her eyes moved over to observe the uncomfortable and nervous Asger, coughing into his elbow. Komaru remained silent for a few seconds but was soon able to mutter out a response. "Y-Yes. A pleazure to zee you again, Da-Danaë. I trust you are feeling better?...Ehehe..." It was quite clear to all three people involved that this wasn't a situation that Komaru was confident in. He looked over at Narx with an expression that was just a cry for help. It was pretty soon that Danaë would speak again.

"I don't want to ruin your evening, but I think Mom and Dad would love pictures of us at the ball, with our dates."

There it was again. That tone that sounded as pleasant as a spear through the chest. Though Komaru's brain would stop working at the mention of a date. "D-Da-D-Dates?!" He repeated. Smoke might have been coming out of his ears at how hard his mind was working to process that. Did this count as a date? It hadn't been preplanned. But they did hold hands and he even agreed to dance with him. Did that count as a date? Physically Komaru's face as as red as ever and he was smiling in a timid fashion but mentally, his mind was screaming. "I-I...I-We...That would...Ehhh..." He looked at her brother and then Narx, then hesitantly back to Danaë. "P-P-Picture...god. Let's take picture." Komaru sputtered out.

"Oh ho? Dance? With me? With a robot? Well if you were a human, I'd decline on the grounds of it being far too plain, but this seems quite the interesting turn of events Kekeke. Although I know why you'd make this offer so suddenly. You've probably got it all figured out then? Or do you I wonder? Kekeke shall we?" Allister would then move towards one of the more isolated areas of the dance floor. After all a machine on the dance floor in general would have been unsettling to say the least, but it would prove to further his curiosities if he didn't have anyone else butting in. He would bow and present a hand as one would do so a lady. "Shall we?" Believing Prism would in turn follow his lead and accept his hand he would keep things simple for a rigid machine and pace the dance to a slow waltz. Smiling every second looking into non-existent eyes as if the two were equal in keeping their gazes hidden despite prisms being a design choice. "So tell me darling? What do you think of humans and faunus as a species?" He would lead into a dip before returning them back to a rest position. "I'll go first. They're truly broken things wouldn't you agree? I mean comparably to something like you. Weighed down, by their emotions, thoughts clouded by anger, and irrationalities."

Allister moved the slow waltz up in pace. Going from a one step cadence to a three step cadence. "Although...I may have to take that back, you're special aren't you. The only reason I could see you derailing me from my future festivities is out of a desire. A desire maybe that of something like concern? That desire I wonder what makes it so different from your creators? What separates man and machine you think?" He extended his arm and self in a manner where it appeared as though he had separated himself, although he would have still held on to the robots hand. A divide between dancers and a simulated divide between their two beings as a whole before he grew close once more in a mock embrace. "Do you think man and machine can do things, such as...fall in love?"

If Allister was right to assume that Prism was no ordinary machine he was curious if his questions weighted in complexity was enough for Prism to comprehend. All the while having an ulterior motive hidden behind his typical facade. Of all the things in the ballroom Prism was above all considerably the most dangerous. A weapon pardoned on account of its necessity...but a weapon none the less. With his semblance still a mystery not only would he be using this dance between boys and bots to try and pry at an ai but an attempt to try and discover if prism had any simple firing mechanisms. Something someone with a simple and weak frame like Maria could manipulate to perform the suits feats. Something that could be exploited...something to make Kendall eat her words of him putting on a no show. "I hope you can pardon my directness with my inquiries but I'm curious to wonder has anyone ever asked how the madame Prism is doing until now?"

Allisters silhouette would be cast for the group to see. It would be enough to ease any suspicions for now in regards to Allisters shenaniganry so Maria could rest easy..somewhat. There was still an air of he was appearing much more joyous than before. Only someone who had a sharp eye for personalities would be able to tell that when he was his most joyous he was at his most devious like typical tricksters of fairy tale legends like Loki. Yet despite the assumptions in regards to his sanity he by no means stupid and in some senses was very meticulous. His bed always tidy, his knick knacks always assorted nicely, even when he did he ritualistic occult creepiness he'd clean the blood and other fluids...albeit that was likely more out of necessity. Yes when he was in a good mood, things would more often than not go missing and reappear or new things would appear entirely. An undergarment the cat never realized went missing for a day..still missing but in the room..kekeke somewhere, the shampoo in the shower gone for a few hours and back just a little lighter, barbeque lighters on the table missing lighter fluid and the faint smell of burning wafting through the room but nothing burnt in sight.

Ivory blanked out again, unable to stop the thoughts of his tribe leave his mind. They were the source of his anxiety. Being publicly ridiculed for being a failure, it had caused him to shut himself off from the clan sooner than when he had to leave due to his injuries. HIs home life wasn't good either, as his Lion faunus of a mother was ashamed on him, and the love that she gave to his younger brother. That had hurt Ivory so much. His mother's disdain for the first born. He would shake his head, but the thoughts wouldn't disappear.

Then when he was brought to Vale and they found him a sponsor. They were so hard on him, to try to make him civilized. It's why he wore the combat suit, why he was about being a gentleman. To the other around him, his tail would poof up, his eyes would look wild, and then Nova would punch him. Bringing him back to earth.

He would look around confused, as he seemed to missed a lot of what was being said. Maybe he needed to rest...He would then gently try to pull Nova to the dance floor to dance. However, it was obvious that something was wrong right now.

Holding Noah she smiled to her team mates. Ivory looked as if he drifted off, she’d ask him about it later. But Nova was being a ball of energy, to which she joined on the dance floor. "I don’t mind hair, Noah's just a cutie." She would give him scratches as they danced. But the drifting look Ivory had made her tilt her head. "You okay Ivory?" Placing a hand on his shoulder, looking to Nova and then to Ivory. "Do you need anything?" She was in protective mode with him,

I think it’d be a good idea to officially meet everyone… Later. Jazz was very keen to finally get onto the dancefloor with Lunia. Fortunately for him, Lunia didn’t immediately move towards the other group, giving him time to convince her to dance somewhat alone. His thinking slowed as he noticed Lunia was concerned with something about Charlotte. I guess Lunia must’ve promised I was bringing a date for her… I feel bad now. I should’ve expected Felix to run off… I need to get a leash for that boy. Charlotte did seem to be off, which was saying something. Regardless of her smile, her eyes were showing a mix of emotions that Jazz struggled to read right until she managed to put a bluff up and divert his attention with a classically confused Charlotte comment. Still struggling with metaphors.. To be fair it wasn’t fully quoted this time, maybe that was what made you struggle with it.

As their hands entwined Lunia held tightly, whispering back in his saying she knows what the issue is with Ora and Charlotte. I’ll ask about it later His smile would suggest. Lena also seems to know what the issue is with Ora and Charlotte was. Ok, I really am missing something here. If Lena thinks it’s a good idea to ask Ora I suppose I should… They must’ve met earlier this year. I hope it won’t be awkward moving forward.

Charlotte was looking between Lunia and himself, it took him a while to realise exactly what she was looking at. It was clear she was struggling with her emotions, Jazz wanted to go and dance but to leave a friend when they’re in pain would be wrong. All of that suddenly vanished as Charlotte looked at her scroll. She suggested she could record the ball, which admittedly was a little embarrassing. However, as this was Jazz’ first ball, he thought it’d be a nice memento to have. You know what. That sounds like fun. Even Lena seems to be slowly easing into the ball which brought Jazz a lot of joy. The two girls who were finding this difficult were beginning to be swayed by the music, lights and atmosphere. Well enough postulating, time to dance. He said as he pulled Lunia away with him to the dancefloor.
