2: You find a table with an ordinary sized dollhouse. As you peer inside, you see a smaller version of yourself next to a table.
Sathe tackled Rutta off of the ant and dragged him to the other side of the room, hoping to get away from the giant thing. "Come on!"
He punted the doll head that was rolling down the stairs, watching as the ant seemed to get distracted by it and wander off.
Taking a bit of a breath, he looked around the other side of the room, spotting a peculiar looking dollhouse. Peering inside through the roof, he saw a small figure that looked like how he was dressed, leaning over a table. Freezing for a moment, he turned around and looked at the ceiling, relieved that he didn't find himself staring back or something like that.
Niamh's exclamation caught his attention again, and he dragged Rutta along with as he followed her. "This way, before we get split up!"

The Foyer
The entryway is an enormous hall that you can’t help but feel small in. Stony gargoyles leer down at you from overhead, while a tall grandfather clock ticks loudly off in the corner. A once regal now threadbare carpet guides you either to the left or the right to the adjoining rooms. Straight ahead, the stairs have been roped off, clearly off limits to guests.
A chill draft sweeps through the room, and suddenly the clock begins to chime. The sound seems to shake the whole house. Time to get a move on!
North: There’s only one way out, and it’s not the door behind you. East: An ominous door. South: The way is blocked. West: An ominous door.

Foggy Graveyard
The night air is still and uncomfortably quiet. Even under the full moon, the shadows cast by the graveyard’s headstones are too long and too dark. The dead branches from the surrounding trees and hedges grasp at you like clawed, bony fingers.
SEARCH [1d10]
1: You find a key! 2: In the distance you hear a lonely howl that curdles your blood. A few seconds later something growls behind you, much, much closer. 3: You find yourself unable to move as vines grow up around your ankles and pull you down towards the earth. 4: A plastic pumpkin container lays overturned on the cobblestones… Looks like someone left it behind by mistake. It still has some candy inside! 5: There’s a rustling from a nearby tree, and a black shape bursts out. It dives towards you, then rushes past, and settles on a headstone with a croak. From there, it regards you smugly. 6: In the middle of the path, a ghostly spectre materialises in ragged fluttering robes. It passes through you and leaves you chilled to the bone. 7: The earthy mound in front of a worn gravestone shifts, and a gnarled hand erupts from beneath. Something begins to claw its way to the surface. 8: Hushed whispers follow you throughout the graveyard, whispering secrets no one could know. There is a sudden shriek, then silence. 9: Something strokes your hair and down your neck. You hear a cackle, and your shadow slithers away in to the darkness. 10: You find a key!
North: An ominous door of a crypt. East: Continue. South: The way is blocked. West: Continue.

Irritating Hall of Mirrors
Dazzling lights and mirrors confound you from every side. You can see your reflection a hundred, no, a thousand times over as well as that of a door. Even as you move through the hall, not all of your reflections seem to move at the same time as you… or even quite in the same way.
STRUGGLE [1d4]
1: You find the exit! (Requires 2 keys to leave.) 2: You continue East. 3: You find the exit! (Requires 2 keys to leave.) 4: You continue West.

Pitch Dark Hall
A long hallway stretches before you… or at least you have to assume as much. The corridor is so dark you cannot so much as make out what is right in front of you. All magic spells fizzle, and all traditional methods of light fail. The glowing marks that occasionally appear on the walls are your only landmarks.
"I'm pretty fond of the dark myself." A cold presence sidles up beside you, though if you reach out, you find nothing there. The ring burns in your pocket.

Mirrors... So many mirrors. She was surrounded by an image she hated to see... herself, because whenever she looked in the mirror, she saw her eyes, saw her own broken spirit. And she also saw who she used to be. She began to quietly cry as she went, especially when some of the mirrors seemed to reflect the Old Her back, more than should be possible. She found herself thinking that she saw who she should have been... Not who she was.
And then she found a door. She yanked on it, trying to get it open... She could feel a hint of breeze, telling her that this was an out... And then fell to her knees, crying because she could not escape.
The vines still had a very tight grip on his ankles and legs causing him some discomfort. The cold damp earth was loomy beneath his fingernails as he dug into it trying to stop his descent into a unknown hole that contained blackness and something else knowing his luck.
All the smells assailed his nose at once making his stomach lurch it was sensorary overload and his head began to spin making him dizzy. Good thing he was not on his feet, he would have went face first. His ears began to buzz, a slight burning to them. He rubbed them in an attempt to lessen the pain then a voice was whispering in his ears. It felt hot and cold at the same time, the words barely there but loud at the same time. He struggled to get free, the vines holding fast. He dug his nails into the rich dark earth and heaved himself out of the hole he was being pulled into.
The vines suddenly let him go and he jumped to his feet in a rush then began hopping about like a rabbit. His legs were burning! Those vines had a really tight grip and now the blood was circulating again causing stabs of pain up and down both legs. Gritting his teeth, he turned and began walking although slowly about this new area.
He realized he was in a different part of the Graveyard now or it was a different one he was not sure. As he scanned his surroundings, that voice was back. It was saying things he instinctively knew were secrets but who's? The "being" that was speaking seemed to know alot about something and someone, alot of somethings and someones! There was a cold blast of air that shivered across his neck, he shivered in response. Taking a few more steps the voice was constant, the words coming faster and faster. Zelig needed a way out and fast.
Suddenly a crypt came into view needing no direction, Zelig went towards it as fast as he could just as he reached the door a loud shriek was heard then nothing. Absolutely stillness, not a single sound.
Shaking his head he reached for the door handle and pushed with all his might.....

2: You continue East.
Sathe entered the room full of mirrors, quickly realizing that these were not just trick mirrors he'd seen at other carnivals. Some indeed were of that sort, but with others it seemed like he was looking at something that wasn't a reflection.
One was a baphomet like himself, but one that was beaten, defeated, had given up. Perhaps what he might have been if he hadn't taken to brawling.
Another was darker, an angrier him. One that was covered in scars, had taken up smoking, and looked like any other kid roughing it on the street. If he had given into the anger. It taunted him, sneered at him, laughed at him like he was weak.
Sathe growled at the silent dialogue that flooded his thoughts, clenching his fists as the image mocked him further. "I'm not...I'm...I'M NOT LIKE THAT ANYMORE!" The doppelganger broke into pieces as the mirror shattered beneath his fist, but the haunting laughter in his head took a bit longer to subside.
He leaned back against the wall, running his sore hand through his hair as he tried to slip on his armor again, starting to wonder if coming here was a mistake. The sound of Niamh crying snapped him out of his moping. He couldn't give up like this, she needed him.
Making his way through the maze, he found her by a door, one that obviously looked like an exit. It was locked, but he remembered the key he had found and took it out, only to realize that there was two locks. He shoved it back in his pocket, hiding the bleeding knuckles from Niamh's view for now as he knelt down next to her, resting his other hand on her shoulder.
"I've only got one key, but we need to keep going..." Reaching down, he took her hand in his, gently guiding her as he ignored the mirrors and just tried to find the way out.

The hours have come and gone. Whether you've lost your way completely or mapped your way to the exit, the point still stands: you have yet to escape. However you're not trapped forever. At this late hour, there is one who would offer to assist you... for a price.
A mysterious shop, complete with a blinking sign, snappy elevator music, and a shelf full of curious merchandise has opened up at your current location. A garishly dressed Kumiho leans against the counter, watching you with a lazy expression. As you make eye contact, he offers you a knowing smile—it's only thing you'll get for free.
“A little lost, huh? You're not the only one. You see, I'm in a bit of a pickle myself. I got a bunch of hallowed kids at home waiting for their dear, old pops to bring them back something nice for their awakening day. Only thing is I'm strapped for cash. You know how it is these days. It's so hard for a single parent to make a living. Tragic, right?”
He retrieves a photograph from his inside jacket and slides it across the counter towards you. A trio of scruffy, mixed children beam up at you. He continues tearfully, “It just eats me up inside thinking of their sad, little faces when they realise dad has let them down again. Poor mites. They're all adopted and I just wanted to give them a shot at a better life. Anyway!”
The Kumiho switches gears so fast it could give you whiplash. “What do you say? You scratch my back, I scratch yours? See, I got these maps for sale. Of course anything else behind me is available too. Well, except that.” He swipes what appears to be a shrunken head off the shelf and tucks it out of sight. “Hm... What was that? Sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about. Hey, wow! Look at these great prices! These discounts are practically illegal!”
UPDATE
[ October is almost over! Due to this, a few changes have been made to the game. You'll find the front page has been updated with a map, location information, and a modified form. In addition, you may now move and search twice a day. Please note that you may only search twice a day total. Not per location. If you have any questions, please send me a PM or message me on Discord.

Ruttaga
“Ugh, mirrors? Really?”
Squinting against the bright lights, Ruttaga frowned and stared down his many reflections. He rolled his eyes so forcefully, they looked as though they might roll back into his head. “Stuff like this is for babies. Hey, instead we should go back and try round two with that ant, huh? We can take it. Right?”
One look from Niamh's to Sathe's face told him it was not happening. He let out an exasperated sigh. “Fine. Baby stuff it is.”
Ruttaga stalked forwards, fast enough to keep ahead of disappointment, but not so fast that he ran into a broken nose. The shapes in the mirrors shimmered around him, reflecting his movements with increasing disparity, but Ruttaga paid them no mind. Instead he focussed his attention on finding the seams between the glass, where the gaps betrayed the illusion. A few minutes later the door slid into view.
Despite himself, he turned to grin at Niamh and Sathe, former pique forgotten. “Like I said: baby stuff,” he told them. “Come on, let's blow this...”
As he reached to grab Sathe's shoulders, his fingers stopped against hard glass. He flushed with embarrassment. Of course, they had been on his other side. A stupid mistake, but easy enough to make. He reoriented himself to face the pair, rolling his eyes at them but grinning good-naturedly. “Don't laugh. You'd be lost if it weren't for me. Now, come on.”
Without waiting for a response, Ruttaga started back towards the door. He had gone no more than a few paces however when doubt wormed its way into his thoughts. Suddenly he whirled around and connected face first with a sheet of glass. As he crumpled over and clutched at his bruised forehead, a chorus of alien voices giggled around him. Opening his eyes, he saw the reflections of his friends shimmer like an unravelling mirage, before they disappeared.
Ruttaga pressed his palm against the empty mirror. Not even his own reflection stared back at him.“What the hell...?” He spun around in a slow circle, searching for any kind of landmark. Only white walls greeted him. The door was gone.
“Hello?” he called. “Sathe? Niamh?” The sound of his voice echoed down the hall to no response. For the first time since entering the manor, Ruttaga felt a twinge of fear. He pressed, “Not funny, guys. I'll ditch you. I mean it.”
Against the void of the cavernous hall, his words sounded small. He could hear the doubt in his own voice, the vulnerability. It was the voice of a child. His fists clenched. “Seriously, this is just dumb. I'm leaving! If you get stuck, don't blame...”
“I'm not...I'm...I'M NOT LIKE THAT ANYMORE!”
There was a loud crash somewhere on Ruttaga's left. Even as he turned, he heard the crunch and tinkle of broken glass. He raised his voice. “Sathe, I'm coming! Hang on!” The chimera glanced left then right. Empty hallways yawned before him on either side. “Oh hell,” he muttered. On a sudden impuluse, he pressed his nail to the glass. Then, turning to his right, he started down the hall, leaving a long, white score behind him.
The longer he walked, the nearer the voices sounded. He used them to orient himself, gradually spiralling in towards them over the course of several minutes. At last, as he rounded a corner, he found them, Niamh slumped on the floor and Sathe helping her to her feet.
“About time!” he huffed. “A little lost, huh?”
Ruttaga nearly jumped out of his skin. Tense and bristling, he whirled around to see an older kumiho, standing behind... a shop counter. For a moment, the chimera could do nothing but stare, too bewildered to even close his mouth. He edged back towards Niamh and Sathe as the kumiho spoke, and only when he was close enough, whispered, “Let's just grab the key and run...!”
