Sebastian stretched fully once they were off the train, trying to work the cramp out of his back. Train seats were far too small for a tall guy like him and he felt it sometimes. With Igglybuff snoozing in his arms and a dozing Pichu hanging off his shoulder, he strolled a bit away to clear the crowd, pausing and turning to wait on Jay once the cowboy had gotten off as well. He took a moment to glance around the familiar city again before finally addressing his friend.
"So where to next?" He inquired, swiping some hair out of his face and rubbing the back of his neck. Oh lord the cramping. It’d go away eventually though, once they were moving. Which is why he was inquiring. He didn’t know if Jay wanted to set out right away or if he had some other plans he needed to get out the way. Either was fine with him, but it was good to check.

Jay had taken care of a few things on the train, like he planned. He rearranged his party a bit, gave Mimey her pokeball, and even managed to change Koda's ability using one of the ability capsules he'd picked up... he-didn't-even-know-when. The rest of the time he'd spent either thinking or sleeping, unaware of his freinds discomfort. He definitely wasn't as tall as Sebastian, but he did stretch as they left, and pulled his hat off to run a hand thorugh his hair, Scy back out and ready to help him along as he needed. "Think Nimbasa is our next target, assumin' yew got the badge here already. Don' recall how far it is, but ahm sure there oughta be a map 'round here somewhere, 'r somethin'," he commented. It didn't take long for the train to take Scarlett to Castelia city. Scarlett had returned all her pokemon for the train ride, wanting to get some peace and quiet for a while as the train moved along the Unova region, but when she stepped off into the the large city, she knew she had work to do before she could meet with Zak. If he even was here yet. With a stretch and a sigh, Scarlett made her way to the pokemon center to reserve a room. She needed to change out of these clothes and dress into something more sporty, not to mention take a shower. Sure, she was just going to get sweaty again, but she needed the hot water and steam to help her relax and feel refreshed going in. After her shower, she dug through her bag for her workout clothes; a teal tank top and some black nike shorts. Tying her hair up in a high ponytail, she paused as she glanced in the mirror. It had been a while since she'd gone out without makeup, or at least covering her freckles, but if she was about to go into an all out workout, there really wasn't any point.
Dressed and ready to go, Scarlett had exhausted just about everything else on her plate aside from finally dealing Vandal, so she supposed it was finally time. Letting Aero out, Scarlett looked over the mega gallade. "I'm gonna let Vandal out. When I do, I'm gonna start askin' him questions, and I need ya to tell me whether or not he's lyin', or anythin' else useful that you can get off'a him. If he tries to scram, or do anything shifty, knock him out. Remember, he can use illusions, so don't trust what your eyes see, watch him with yer inner eye. Make sure he ain't movin' about while he's only appearing to be in one place and the like" Scarlett demanded seriously. "Yes Captain." Aero nodded. With precautions set up, Scarlett let the zoroark out. Vandal appeared in his human form, hands in his pockets and looking over Scarlett with a glazed expression. "Mind if I take a seat?" He asked casually. "...Go ahead." Scarlett agreed reproachfully, watching as the zoroark pulled up one of the chairs in the room. "Would it make you feel more comfortable if my hands were bound?" He offered Scarlett with a slightly cheeky grin, but Scarlett obviously wasn't taking his joke very well. "Ya aren't in much of a position to be jokin' around right neu..." She scowled. "I'm gonna make one thing clear, the only reason ya're alive is cause the fates were kind to ya. I'm givin' ya a chance to prove yerself, and I suggest ya don't go and squander it." She insisted.
Vandal sighed. "Look, I can talk about how I'm not planning on double crossing you, and your gallade can tell you that I'm telling the truth, and you will still be suspicious of me, so why don't we just cut the crap and you can tell me what I need to do to earn your trust so that we can stop wasting time?""Fine.""Fine." Scarlett scowled. "Just far the record though, are you working for Klepto still?" Vandal rolled his eyes and sighed. "No." He reiterated, and Scarlett looked to Aero for a confirmation nod that he wasn't lying. Vandal was right, Scarlett still didn't trust the zoroark, but considering he'd been trying to hurry and skip over that little lie detection test made Scarlett suspicious of whether or not he really was just trying to speed the process up faster, or trying to avoid that situation from happening so that he wouldn't get caught. "There's a Team Plasma base here in Castelia City. I'm gonna send you along with some of my crew to go find it and investigate. I need ta know if Zinzolin escaped there from the fair this afternoon, or where he is currently. Ifn ya can't find anything out with stealth, interrogate them. If they daen't know anythin', find someone who does. I'm sure ya're familiar with these sarts of processes." She suggested snidely. "Alright, I get the idea. It shouldn't be too difficult." He agreed, looking thoughtful. "Good." Scarlett pulled a big mushroom and a heart scale out of her bag, handing them to the zoroark. "Here, you might need these." Vandal glanced up at Scarlett curiously. "I thought you didn't trust me?" Scarlett narrowed her eyes. "I daen't." She stated clearly. "I may be giving ya a boost in power, but I'm still confident my pokemon could take you out ifn ya decided to try any funny buisness." She insisted. "Right." Vandal sighed, standing and stretching. "Welp, why don't you give me my team and send me on my way then? The sooner this gets done, the better." He suggested.
Scarlett supposed there wasn't really much else to go over, so with a nod, she let out Pearl, Luna, Damien, Aegis, and Dotty to go with him, though she handed Pearl her blastoisite, just in case she evolved on this trip. "Good luck. I'll be in the basketball court ifn ya happen to need me, but I do mean only if ya need me. Any other superfluous intrusions, and I'll make sure you'll regret it." She threatened. "Yeah yeah, got it boss." Vandal waved her off, making his way out of the room with his small troupe. Once they left, Aero turned to Scarlett with a concerned expression. "Is is truly a wise decision to allow him to lead this operation unsupervised?" He asked. "No, that's why I'm sendin' ya to supervise him." Scarlett said lowly. "Ah. I see." Aero nodded. "Follow them, but keep yer distance. Use the eyes of one of the other crew with him, report in to me via telepathy on anythin' noteworthy. Step in only if they get overwhelmed by Plasma grunts or if Vandal tries anything." She insisted. Aero nodded, peering into Pearls mind to check on the group's status. Once they were far enough away, he left Scarlett's room and began to pursue the group at a distance as Scarlett had instructed.

Cyrus looked over to his tired friend as he eventually answered his question. "Isn't he cute when he's half awake~?" an unfamiliar voice commented quietly inside Cyrus' head. The Egyptian looked away, annoyed and embarrassed at the comment. He didn't see who could have made it, and tried to keep from seeming like anything was bothering him. "Have a plan of attack, then? That's good." Cyrus commented to his friend. He couldn't help but feel like something was watching him, even though he couldn't see anything suspicious. Even Sinbad didn't seem to sense anything was wrong, standing nearby with his tail swaying.
"I have nothing planned for a while, so uh... I can just stick around." Cyrus said, reaching up to rub the back of his head. He kind of wouldn't really mind hanging around with Apollo for a bit, though he felt odd about it. Earlier, he was itching to get away. Maybe it was just that he was miserable in that wet dress? "You really quite enjoyed being his princess, though~" the voice whispered to Cyrus. He did his best to ignore it, but there was a tinge of pink on his face. With her pokemon taken care of for now, Scarlett prepared herself to head down to the basketball courts to see if Zak was there or not. The problem was, she still hadn't been able to think of a reward for Zak if he managed to make her concede before she got a basket on him. He was hard to shop for, so to speak, given that she had no idea what he might want, so if her offer wasn't interesting to him, then there was no point in offering it, and there was nothing that she could be sure of him wanting at the moment. Or at least, nothing she could think of that wasn't too big of a price to her. This was just a little match to blow off steam, not to mention Scarlett was at a huge disadvantage to begin with, so she didn't want to go off and put something big on the line. She didn't want to go letting him pick her prize though. That was too much power and he'd probably end up picking something big anyways. She hadn't known really what to ask for in return either, but with him revealing her name earlier, now she knew. She wanted to know just how much he knew about her, how much he had found out, how he had found her name. There was no way to be sure that he was telling her the truth, or even the full story though if she happened to win their little wager. She needed something tangible from him, or at least some kind of guarantee she was getting her prize in it's entirety.
Scarlett blinked as, somehow, this line of thinking made her realize what she could possibly offer him. She could take him to her ship. It wasn't ideal, but he probably wasn't even aware she had a ship, or the treasure trove it contained, so it probably was of interest to him and it was something Scarlett was willing to divulge if she lost their wager. Though, she probably couldn't reveal it right away. The fact that she had a ship in of itself was useful information that she would have to withhold until he actually won their wager to reveal as part of his prize, just in case he wasn't aware of it already. With that in mind, she packed up her bag and left her room, locking the door behind her as she made her way towards the main hall of the center. She stopped at the vending machine to get herself a bottle of water and gatorade, seeing as she would be needing the hydration for the upcoming workout. Afterwards, she headed down to the basketball courts. Looking at one of them there was already a game going on, and no signs of Zak, so she walked further down the path to check the next court. Sure enough, the russian a*****e was there with a few of his pokemon out, so Scarlett pushed open the chain link fence to let herself in.
She was still a little pissed off about the stunt he had pulled with her name earlier. If she had a basketball on her, she might've had half a mind to chuck it at his head. Wordlessly, she closed the distance between them, dropping her bag and drinks off by the bench before moving out to the court. "Alright traenálaí. Show me the basics so we can get started." Scarlett insisted, hands on her hips and scowl set on her face. As much as she wanted to give her words more bite, it was probably a bad idea to start this off with insults, especially since she needed him to keep his promise of showing her the basics of how to handle the ball and play the game. After that was settled, then she would probably start telling him off as they played.

Meanwhile, Vandal was looking much like a trainer with his team all out of their pokeballs as he and Scarlett's other pokemon made their way through the city streets, looking for any sign of plasma activity. Vandal didn't know how Scarlett expected him to find a secret Plasma base when there were at least 100 buildings in this city, but he really wasn't in any position to complain. He looked to Dotty. "Hey, psychic. Any chance you could help me narrow the search down for this secret base?" He asked, and Dotty nodded. Her range wasn't great, so it wasn't like she could scan the entire city and pinpoint their destination, but she had been scanning the buildings that they'd passed by for anything matching what they were looking for. After relaying this information to Vandal, the disguised Zoroark nodded, looking slightly relieved. "Thanks sweetheart. I 'preciate it." That took a few concerns off of his mind at least.
Vandal paused as a kid came running up to him. "Wow mister! You're pokemon look so cool! Can we battle?!" Vandal hesitated. He was prepared to play the role of a trainer if need be to interrogate Plasma grunts, but he hadn't expected some kid to come challenge him. He couldn't go blowing his cover already though, and if any Plasma grunts happened to be in the area watching, having a trainer battle would be all the more convincing. "Alright kid, I don't see why not. What's your name?" Nodding, the boy stepped back with a grin, producing his first pokeball and sending out a sigilyph. "My name's Isaac! I'm gonna be the best trainer in Unova, you just wait and see!" Vandal chuckled at the youngster's enthusiasm. "Alright, let's see just how good you are." He glanced amongst Scarlett's pokemon, his eyes falling on Damien. Being a dark type, Vandal knew the houndour would be at an advantage against a psychic pokemon like a sigilyph. "Why don't you go ahead and take this one?" Vandal asked the houndour. Damien looked over Vandal with a lazy gaze, but yawned and made his way up to take his place in the battle. As slow moving and tired as the houndour seemed, one quick lunge and bite on the sigilyph knocked it out immediately. Even Vandal was surprised at how fast the lazy houndour had moved all of a sudden. He almost felt bad for the kid, but Isaac seemed starstruck by Damien's strength, even though it meant his pokemon getting KOed.

The ride back to Castelia was filled with back-and-forth conversation between Huey and his sister, the two talking about everything between the events that had happened at the fair to recalling memories of when they'd both been younger, back in Goldenrod. It was nice to catch up with his older sister, and Huey enjoyed spending time with her. When the train came to a stop Huey was amongst the first to walk back onto the platform, Angelia right behind him. The two hadn't even been in the city for five minutes, however, when a Delcatty approached, looking for battle. Not wanting to disappoint Huey tossed out Rags, who was more than eager to battle.

Rags puffed out his chest after his win, brushing himself off proudly before he began to look around their area for another opponent. Huey couldn't help but to laugh, while Angelia simply smirked and turned ahead to continue walking. "Maybe we'll find you another opponent further out? C'mon, Rags." The blonde motioned for the Scraggy to continue on, waiting until he actually began moving to quickly try and catch up with his sister. The battle between Scarlett's pokemon and the young trainer raged on as Isaac sent out a ryhorn in the hopes of pulling a type advantage over Damien. Vandal thought briefly about swapping the fire type out with Pearl, since the wartortle would be much better suited for the battle, but Damien charged at the rock rhino with an iron tail, swiftly taking it out just as quickly as it had with the sigilyph. Even Vandal was surprised. These pokemon could certainly hold their own... The illusionist was brought out of his thoughts however as a snooty brown delphox directed her attention at him, demanding that she was in need of assistance with little regard for what Vandal and Isaac were currently doing. "Um, not to be rude or anything miss, but we're kind of in the middle of somethin' here..." Vandal pointed out, gesturing to the battle. "Maybe you could go find someone else? Or is it an emergency...?" He asked. After all, he would feel bad if he was brushing someone off in the middle of a crisis for some pokemon battle, but honestly the delphox didn't look all that panicked, more annoyed than anything else.

Zak didn't know whether Scarlett was on her way or not, so he didn't bother waiting to get started warming up. Not to mention, he was more than a little eager to get started. Hell, he was driven for it. Once his other pokemon were set, he pulled Deys and Sotnik on to the court. He had Deys stay behind, and Sotnik try and play defense. It was a good challenge, considering the serpentine pokemon was practically two people. Sotnik had gotten a lot better at coordinating himself now, too; there was now throwing the ball, certainly from a long distance, or the snake simply swatted it away. No, Zak had to carry the ball all the way to the net each time, and carry it he did. Slam dunks or close ollie oops, he got the ball to the net again and again. More than a few times, he technically broke the rules and used Sotnik as leverage, but it was all in good fun. Well, for him. His starter seemed slightly less than amused. Eventually he had Deys join in on defense, but he only got to start testing their teamwork in a few fake outs before Scarlett showed.
Noticing her presence as she approach, Zak stopped, and straightened, pulling the ball in towards him and turning to look at her with a passive expression. He raised an eyebrow at the nickname -- which he couldn't decipher -- but smirked at her insistence. "Pleasure to see you too, Mishka," he drawled with some amusement, tucking the ball under his arm as he turned to her. "Don't you look happy to get started." He shrugged, pulling the ball back around, and bouncing it over to her. "You can start by dribbling. Do you know how? Or vould you prefer a demonstration?" he asked, looking at her, though his eyes drifted down to watch her ability to catch and handle the ball. Evidently, he really did intend to teach her, despite her... less than friendly greeting.
