'Reed' General Prehnite Action: Waiting as a Civ - Staring up at the moon on the back of an old Flatbed beatumup truck.
'Frostbite' Basic Cryolite, Corrupt Senshi of Sublimation Action: Waiting as a Civ - Staring up at the moon on the back of an old Flatbed beatumup truck.
"I'm sorry, are we doing some kind of pet name thing, orrr-- what is it now?"
"No, I -- my name is actually Reed, honestly. What is wrong with you? Is it your brain---"
"Mmhmm, sure, 'Reed' then? Suppose I can be Frostbite-- that feels fancy, and the nerve of you ask about 'my mind' when your terrain of preference is 'swamp'! "
The amount of sarcasm and bleary eyed banter batted between a pair of hushed people milling about patiently in the woods, looking for all the world as though they'd come to pick people up, drop them off, or were maybe on the sort of date that ended in a severe amount of ghosting. Trying for all the world to continue doing naught and not ******** all; save occasionally staring up and pointing at a starry blip, or commenting on the wishes of:
'oh, if only this cloud would shift and reveal more of the starry skies above.' blah, blah, blah---
The epitome of bad blind dates come into full, vivid reality. Especially with the amount of time they both seemed to have their phones out, tablets. Playing some game, or texting someone else, or waiting on the worst outing of all times to end. No one would've noted anything at all, unless they were close enough to see the tension in their limbs, the alertness, the way either or would occasionally glance from their position and into the darkness beyond trees, shrubs, and endless streams of branches beyond the more manicured outskirts -- almost anxiously, in fact.
Eternal Husband Albite, Corrupt Senshi of Retribution Action: In the office on Standby - please hold!
"Attakippn, Tamagatchi you've got this on lock..." and he did raise a hand to pet Tama shakily, let the cats fur eat the brewing anxiety in him. Truly glad for Tamas hold atop his shoulder, secured by a tense of claws he would've claimed were soothing; the way the cat in his ear and on his shoulder was a grounding force of pounds. Especially as he practically paced holes into the worn, cold stone of the offices floor, waiting, listening intently. Holding his breath and nope, no no!
B r e a t h e --- Albite, breathe you absolute hefty bag of an a**, you've no right to be this nervous!! It's okay, it's fine, its alright!!
"b***h isn't there yet -- or -- princess, prince, the ******** Royal? Nothing," reiterated aloud to all the rest surrounding him, and every bit of his tone intended to let the others know to 'hold'. He texted the sentence over to the rest across shared chat lines even as he thought back soothingly through his earring to Faustite.
'I hear you. S'alright Firebrand, someone'll show -- they wouldn't ******** us like this -- but even if they would? We're getting it done. If we have to swoop in n hold 'em hostage till they drag cosmos herself from the sky.'
He padded the thought with love. Kept all the worrry out of his thoughts and on his face. Held that same tension in the intense way he ate the length of the room — back and forth — picking a path that would least disturb the rest of the bodies around him. There were the ones who were already at location, the few on site who'd been available to go on ahead -- just in case -- and the rest? The members of the team who Albite would bring in with Tama and Haymitch covering the powered drop to the known point of locale...
He honestly thought it worked best this way.
Didn’t want so many of them going in all at once to crowd an obvious space in the woods too early and risk seeming suspicious as civilians. It was far easier on his nerves to send just let a few to linger, and then once they knew the Royal was actually on site? Drop the rest in already powered up, hidden by cat-mau-flauge colored camo. Then they could congeal together at the aforementioned 'point of contact'. Then and only then could they all together safely watch for the signal---when the fire goes out!
Couldn't move in till after the purification happened though. Had to chill up till then, to wait, and wait, and feel the seconds crawl and worry about 'what if they grab him early and whisk him away!?'
He knew he shouldn’t be worried! That what they had would be enough, it’d have to be. Albite tried to reassure himself with that, even as he tried not to count who was around him again for the thirtieth time -- or to text the group out in the woods once more time to make sure they were all good. He had to keep it simple, keep it down to the info that mattered—-
All that mattered right then? Was that 'No Royal' equated to 'Be Patient' -- if things didn't shift soon, if they went all the way south? He figured his Firebrand would think quick n tell 'em to drop in that much sooner.

Misha, aka CymophaneBy “Reed” and “Frostbite,” with his trusty camera at his side. “Can I be ‘Kitten’?” Misha asked, returning to the truck after passing through the shadow of a large tree.
He’d brought a camera with him. There was no telling if any of the footage he’d taken would benefit them at all, but he figured he could try to kill two birds with one stone: do some surveillance, and get some footage for a vlog. I got lost in the words (Terrifying!), or something.
Misha didn’t look worried, didn’t sound worried, didn’t give off any vibes that might make him seem anything other than utterly relaxed. Sure, things could go wrong, and sure, they might lose Faustite, but if they did, they could get him back. Maybe. Misha had a feeling the jury was still out on that one; bringing it up wouldn’t do anyone any good.Jonah, aka RoseliteNervously hiding with the other Negas there as civs. Jonah was useless out in nature. He was useless as a civilian.
Hell, he was probably just useless, period.
But he was there — shivering, not from the temperature, but from nerves. What if they were found lurking out here? Did they look suspicious? Should he have worn camouflage? He didn’t own any camo. Did it matter in the dark?
He jumped when he heard a twig snap, couldn’t tell where it came from. A gentle breeze blew through the trees, sending a few branches creaking.
Back when he was young, he would have feared finding monsters in the darkness. Now he feared other people more. Anyone could be an enemy. Every face roused suspicion. Jonah tracked details where he could, but it was dark and they’d gone for relative seclusion.
He checked the time on his phone. Swallowed a lump in his throat. Almost texted Bloodstone, but didn’t.

Kiri Super Sailor Mizuki Near "Reed" and "Frostbite" but perched up in a tree some feet away.
Being powered down was like being blind, especially when she was on a mission as important as this. The breeze ruffled her hair and she watched the boys around the truck. She wanted to be up higher, have a better vantage point. And it felt safer to be farther away when she was like this, when she couldn't sense anything.
She wished she could feel who was there. Who was around. Just how many of them were about. It was nerve wracking. Foolhardy as she may be, she at least knew what she was diving into. Here? Here she was blind as could be.
She hated it.
Kiri checked her phone as it buzzed softly in her pocket, and she sighed. No royals had shown their faces yet. The anxiety and ice in her chest flared bright for a moment.
No. This would work. This had to work. It would be fine.
It would all be fine.
---
Super Sailor Skoll Coming to stand behind Nectaris, watching the group
Skoll was a late comer, to help with not scaring off Faustite the minute they all showed up at once. He looked like walking death, even as Encke and Nectaris aided him to the meeting spot. Okay... she could perhaps see how the man - if you could even call him that anymore - suffered with the fire in his body. The fires flickered and snapped as the man dropped to the ground, obviously drained and weak.
She didn't know Lysithea and her court well, beyond the text log of planning, but she assumed there was a Royal there... somewhere. Gold eyes searched over the group, and she felt nothing except those of the White Moon, and Faustite.
They'd teleport in at any time, if this was in fact a trap. So they could be waiting far away where they weren't detectible. She leaned down to murmur to Nectaris and Encke quietly.
"I'll keep an eye out," came the words, eyes never leaving the trees around them.
Not that she didn't trust this plan but... well, she didn't trust this plan.

Strix, Corrupt Sailor Pax In a tree, near Jonah
'Hanging out in the woods in the middle of the night' might not have been one of Strix's favorite pastimes, but it wasn't exactly one of their least favorites, either; they liked the ambient noise of insects and birds and plants. Which was somewhat interrupted by the noise of people, but... oh well. They weren't here to have fun, anyways. Business was business.
They'd dressed down, in the sense they'd picked out darker, muddled clothing. And this tree had arching branches and draping leaves; Strix was visible but indistinct in the shade cast by the canopy, neon-pink eyes the only pop of color in their entire being.
Waiting was annoying. They wanted to move. But they were good at anticipation, at being still as a prelude to motion. Hopefully it wouldn't be too long before something got going - if only because they didn't think everyone here would be able to handle ten more minutes of waiting.---- Amaris, Anakeion Squire of Castor Staying with Viatrix, powered down ATM
Anakeion was well aware that, like a lot of the people in Encke's little groupchat, she was not supposed to be there. Surprisingly(?), for once, this had stopped her -- somewhat. It wasn't Anakeion of Castor vaguely-kind of-maybe going geocaching on a Sunday night; it was Amaris Mallette, in sneakers she'd owned for seven years going and some camo-print cargo pants, keeping an ear out for any commotion as she twisted a bracelet around one wrist.
She didn't think most people who had any reason to be here and not know that she was here knew Amaris, which was in theory a reason to power up and stay hidden, but. But. Sure, sure, Viatrix was concealing other auras, but you could never be too careful, right?? Maybe that had imperfections. Maybe she could only conceal X amount of auras, it wasn't like Amaris had asked, she'd just been anxious about it for weeks. She'd know when something was going when the others took off, and it wasn't like powering up took any real time or effort. But for the time being, she was some chick sitting on tree roots, twist-twist-twisting her bracelet around in one direction and then the other.
She was quieter as Amaris, besides; less metal, less things that jingled. Plus she didn't have her legs exposed for any weird bugs to get at.Seiana_ZI expecting the unexpected had viatrix offer to suppress some auras so i am assuming she's doing that! and also that there's a couple of people using it. which, if that turns out to not be true, is not exactly rough to fix the post to account for~

Aelius Super Sailor Heliodor, Corrupt Senshi of RyutoAction: Skulking in the trees The whole plan was nerve racking. Aelius loathed that they were forced to rely on the white moon to offer the only ray of hope they had at saving Faustite and they were forced on standby as the rescue squad. He was antsy and jittery. Absently, he fiddled with the bone-carved ring on his ring finger. He spun it gently with his thumb. The carvings a new, soothing sensation.
His ming kept bouncing to the previous evening..day? Whatever it had been. Time was a difficult concept in anxiety ridden moments. Their official betrothal to each other and exchange of rings. It was quiet, intimate and pure desperation for both of them. Aelius had done everything he could to help soothe and distract, to worship the relationship they’d managed to build. So much was likely to be lost in this park, but Aelius was damn determined they wouldn’t be walking away here without his husband.
He shifted through the darkness of the trees as quietly as he could. He dared not get too close in fear of tipping anyone off to the unusual amount of people milling around at 3am in the park, but he was determined to atleast have his own visual of the proceedings. So, he had himself tucked away into a copse of trees, several smaller pine’s grew in front of him. It took a bit of dodging and bending to see what was going on. The only good thing was that Faustite was fairly easy to keep track of in the dark. The rest, well, their white uniforms at least helped him note there were others there, but how many was up in the air.
Anyone Nearby Anyone is free to be hiding with Aelius if they want.

Transcendent Eternal Sailor Encke, Senshi of PlasmaAction: standing with Faustite, waving at Malus, acknowledging Skoll, texting Ida. trying not to be a ball of anxiety. Can't keep waiting, said Faustite, and Encke agreed. When Faustite and he had initially talked, Encke said he would reach out to the court Faustite mentioned--the Zodiac Court no longer existed, Grayson was unresponsive, Gray had to have been dead, right? dead, dead, dead, Barren Pines hadn't killed him but had something else--and also a princess that he knew. "Don't worry," replied Encke, even as he himself was worried. Not for the reasons that were obvious in front of them. Not for wondering why the court in front of him was murmuring to each other and not quite greeting him or Nectaris. He did see the way Malus waved, and lifted an arm to wave in turn, a smile on his face that was only as warm as it was due to experience. There were too many unknowns. Encke took his phone out of his pocket, nodding to Skoll with a quiet, "Thank you," as he did. To Faustite, he projected a bit louder, "Like you asked, I reached out to everyone I could. That includes a royal." He sent out a text to one of the princesses he knew, the one he had been closest to and the one he thought of first. Encke had spoken to her about this, too, and they had come to an agreement to the point he agreed to pull her in even if he hadn't felt like he should pull in everyone he had hiding in the woods. To Ida, he texted, Quote: i think the royal is being expected now

Princess LysitheaAnother Senshi popped out of seemingly nowhere, and Lysithea felt herself bristling all over again. This. What was Encke doing. Was he trying to pull some kind of a trap? Was he actually here to kill Faustite? What was he thinking to just. Well. First off. What was he thinking with being here in the first place, that was what she really wanted to know but. It was too late to argue about it now. It was too late to leave. Too late to argue.
“She’ll come when She’s asked for, Faustite. She always does.” The words were spoken loud enough for everyone to hear. If she was speaking of Cosmos or herself, honestly Lysithea didn’t really know the answer, but…she figured something would have to be done before Encke pulled some other Royal out of nowhere and took control even more out of her and the court’s hands.
“Just remember that you have to want this, brother. You have to want to accept it.” Not just want to live. It was two different things and…ah. Whatever.
Closing her eyes for a moment, Lysithea summoned the court wand into her hands and drew in a breath, trying to figure if she wanted to do this with herself or have Faustite ask for Cosmos…if he asked for her help…then Lysithea herself would know that he wanted it. It would solve all of the issues that were still plaguing her but. <******** it.” The words were soft, again just for the ears of those around her. “This is getting out of control and I guess I will have to do ********.”
Taking another moment, she focused and shifted into her Princess form, wings expanding behind her and her aura flaring. “If you want it. I’ll provide it. Just as I’ve always promised, Faustite.”

General AquamarineOn standby with Albite and Tama (and Jet??), waiting to teleport in. The plan was simple enough. It relied on too many unknowns for Aquamarine’s comfort, but the war was full of unknowns. All they could do was prepare, and adapt when s**t inevitably hit the fan.
They were to wait for the fire to go out. That was key. When the purification was complete, they would swoop in, deal with whichever White Moon pests had decided to show their faces, and reclaim Faustite. They would be quick. If they followed orders and relied on their training, any opposition should be dealt with without incident. The Negaverse was the superior force. Failure in this would be an embarrassment.
Aquamarine waited with Albite. He had no interest in exposing his identity to a team that was both too emotional and untrustworthy. The woman with the glasses wanted to lead; she could stick her own neck out, put herself at risk trying to wrangle a bunch of hot-headed husbands and daughters and whatever else Faustite’s friends wanted to call themselves. Aquamarine was content to wait in the wings. He knew his duty. He didn’t require a babysitter.
His weapons had already been summoned, but remained sheathed for the time being. He tried to ignore the pacing. Aquamarine stood with his arms crossed, struggling to keep his expression from shifting from neutral to aggravated.
“There’s one there,” Aquamarine countered Albite. “They might not’ve powered up yet, but they’re there somewhere. If they’re not, it was s**t planning on their part. Or they’ve stood him up.”Guine I think you said Jet was gonna be powered up already, too?

Super Corrupt Fafnir Trey was a quiet, still figure beside his brother, dressed in a dark blue sweater and black jeans. Part of him worried about the way the bunch of them were just... hanging out, looking suspicious. Granted, there was no one around to see them right now, but if anyone had happened by, a group this large would have drawn attention and questions with it. None of them were doing anything one could call socializing, really... even if a few were letting off steam with jokes. He found it hard to join in, though the tension eased some what with their antics.
Blue eyes slid to the side to his brother's fingers, watching as they twiddled his ring. He hadn't said anything about it, but... the sight of the ring made him uncomfortable. On top of everything, it seemed silly, but he could not claim to be entirely rational where his brother was involved. The whole thing just screamed 'bad idea', even if it had seemed like some grand romantic gesture. There were only so many things he could protect his brother from, though. Some things, he was going to have to figure out on his own, stand on his own feet. Who he chose to entangle himself with romantically was beyond his older brother's control.
Fingers tapped on his bicep where his arms crossed over his chest. How long would the purification take, he wondered. How long would they have to wait around like this? Time seemed to crawl.

Transcended Eternal IdaSlender fingers ran through Illyra's fur as Ida sat on a roof boarding the park, looking out over the just-greening tops of trees. She'd asked her cat to suppress her aura and that fact, combined with the new absence of anxiety, left her feeling oddly at peace and settled. Confident, even if there was still that flutter of... anticipation? She couldn't actually see what was going on down below, but she could feel the signatures out there, starting apart and slowly coming together.
Two order signatures met a negaverse general, and she assumed that was Encke with Faustite... Maybe Nectaris with them? And over there, a cluster of order signatures that must be Lysithea and her court. She was glad they'd come, even if she hadn't been the one to talk with them directly. No prince or princess, or other third signature, but that was not unexpected. They'd all spoken and Encke had decided to call her in when the time was right. She just had to wait... with patience that came more easily now.
The call would come, or it wouldn't. She'd be able to tell if something changed and then she'd be there to help. In the mean time, Illyria concentrated and Ida stroked her, soothing them both.
Her phone pinged and Ida was reaching for it when she felt the sudden flare of a royal signature. With the mass of signatures so close together, she had no idea where it had come from or who it was. It was even more surprising to pull out her phone and see the message from Encke. Bad timing? Something else? She wasn't sure... but order still had the upper hand. Maybe everything was fine.To Encke Is everything okay? I can feel someone else. Did Ganymede join you?

Eternal Sailor VarunaVaruna couldn’t help but agree. Getting everything over with sooner than later would be better for everyone. Including the others that were appearing.
The divide between their own was obvious and concerning. Lysithea not knowing others would be there, Faustite apparently asking others for help as well. Did Faustite do it on purpose? Was he just desperate?
She felt her phone vibrate and quickly pulled it out to see the message from Ganymede, but dismissed it to subspace instead of responding. With Lysithea powered up, they hopefully didn’t need Ganymede to step in.
“Too many auras. Let’s do this quickly,” Varuna said quietly as she reached out to place her hand over Lysithea’s on the court wand, reaching over to pull Adria closer as well. Sessrumnir, Knight of Jupiter Sessrumnir stayed out of view, alongside Ganymede and Alastor. The aura dampening Lucasta provided was welcome, but it didn’t do much to calm his nerves. Not that he looked anything but stoic and prepared for a fight. He could keep his emotions to himself, although he was maybe holding a bit too tightly to the fang that was attached to his belt.
“Come on, what’s taking so long,” he muttered quietly to himself. He didn’t trust Faustite. He’d given him the option of purifying before, but he decided not to take it. And then after being involved in his father’s death and kidnapping of Ganymede, Sessrumnir had no sympathy left for him.
He could burn out and crumble to ash for all he cared. It would probably be safer that way than dealing with an unknown should he be purified.

Yuuri Eternal KamaciteWith the group of civilian negas, being anxious. Yuuri felt anxious, but then again he was usually anxious. Just more so when he wasn’t powered up. He felt very insignificant as just a civilian, although it wasn’t much improvement when he was Kamacite.
He wore an oversized dark navy hoodie with the hood over his head and the drawstrings pulled almost comically tight so it was really just his face and shaggy black hair poking out.
He also jumped when he heard a twig snap, seeing Jonah do the same, and let out a shaky sigh to try and calm himself. At least Misha seemed to be enjoying himself.
There was a moment that he glanced up to where Reed was standing, already surrounded by others…
No, he wouldn’t bother him, even if he was relieved by his presence.
They knew to expect a Senshi Royal, but being unable to feel the aura was unnerving. He sucked in another nervous breath, hoping it wouldn’t be long now. Ren Super TaeniteWith the group of civilian negas, chatting up Misha. “Holy s**t, you’re kidding me,” Ren laughed, although he kept his voice down so no one would accuse him of giving away their position. But he couldn’t stop himself from jogging over to where Misha was standing with his camera.
“It’s been a while. I’ve been looking forward to running into you again this winter,” he grinned, clearly amused by the fact that Misha was in the Negaverse and part of the mission. He could probably go through all who had been at the meeting and pick out who he was, but it didn’t really matter.
Oh right, they were supposed to be waiting for the signal. He was sure it would come soon. He had full faith in the plan. Maybe Faustite will be purified for a little while, but they would get him back. It was the best solution for keeping him alive, as much as he hated the idea of Faustite losing any memories.

Eternal Sailor Kerberos Waiting with Ida!It was an effort, for Kerberos, to stay calm. Ordinarily, right now, he would be at his bench, but there was far too much fuss in North End Park tonight for him to expect any of his regular visitors--or any new ones, either. So instead, he waited on a rooftop near the park, seated next to Ida and her lovely Guardian Cat, waiting. For a signal, for the right time, for the moment when a Princess would be necessary.
He could feel the group, and it made his heart clench. So many--but more than just a Princess was necessary, as he understood, to help Faustite. Still, it made him itch. Yes, he'd managed to quietly sneak out of the Negaverse, but he'd been one barely-promoted Eternal. A General with a team, a loyal following? Kerberos doubted they'd let him go so easily. And all these people...they were a beacon.
An extra-bright one, when a Royal aura flared.
His heart skipped.
Another Royal. Was Ganymede there? Castor? (Eugh, he hoped not.) Or was there an as-yet-unknown Royal Senshi, someone to add to the grand rolodex of people that could save a soul held in magical bondage?
"Do you know who that is?" He asked Ida, softly. Not that there was a need to be quiet, but it felt like the right thing to do.

General King JetWith Aqua, Albite, and Tama. Jet had his arms crossed over his chest as he waited. He could have gone as a civilian, but there were a lot of people on the White Moon’s side that wanted him dead, and he didn’t want to put anyone else at risk by association if he could help it, should his identity be compromised.
He wasn’t sure Aquamarine would like that, either.
“I doubt any of them are clever enough to coordinate an attack to have Faustite killed. I remember Lysithea before she turned on us,” he said thoughtfully, remembering how concerned she’d been about Faustite over anyone else when they’d arrived back in Negaspace with Ganymede in tow.
“We’ll get him back,” he said after a moment, hoping to reassure Albite. The sooner everything happened, the better.

Guardian Cat Illyria (I've been given the OK to reply to Blue's post) - With Ida and Kerberos, masking their signatures Illyria's nerves hummed. She did not like this at all but it was better than having been left out of the loop altogether. Even as Ida's fingers stroked soothing patterns in her fur did the feline sigh in relief before refocusing on what it was she was supposed to be doing: masking Ida's signature and that of Ida's friend, Kerberos. Inwardly there was more that the young cat wanted to do but even before they had made their arrival had Ida expressed the importance of staying out of sight and thus staying safe. Illyria had at first wanted to protest but she soon saw the wisdom in what Ida had been telling her. It wouldn't do well for her bonded to be distracted if Illyria was underfoot if she didn't have to be. It would be one less thing for Ida to worry about, but it gave Illyria more on her own plate to be concerned about.
Instead Illyria gaze scanned the horizon from their vantage point before catching Kerberos' words to Ida. Her ears twitched at the softly spoken words before giving off a particular good stretch as Ida's fingers found a spot on her spine before resettling. She too had felt the flare of a royal signature. Hopefully things would go off without a hitch but the fact that her presence had been requested to mask signatures spoke of some underlying uncertainty. Illyria didn't like uncertainty. Cracks were slipped through and all that kind of jazz.
She did pause to peer up to study Ida's expression as she typed out a message on her phone. There was a curious glint in her eyes about who would be messaging Ida and expecting a reply unless it was someone down in the group below. Hopefully everything would go to plan and then she and Ida could disperse. It was probably a fruitless wish but Illyria yearned for some normalcy now more than ever.
Once more did Illyria wish she had not acquiesced so easily to remain out of sight if Ida had to leave her side but what was done was done. She had given her word and she would abide by it. It was the best thing for her, for Ida and everyone that was involved. So stay put she would if Ida had to leave her side.
