Walking over to Athene the ancient senshi bent down to pick up the mauvian and held her close, petting her fur gently. "If it wouldn't be inapprpriate I would offe rto share a bath with you - so we can both clean our fur properly." She really had nothing to worry about from him, all things considered, but he did understand the whole dirty and wet fur problem which she alsowas suffering from and she would need help washing herself - she was a cat after all. He would, of course, offer to help her if need be. But he doubted she'd accept an offer to share a hot bath in order to kill two birds with one stone, as he'd heard the phrase go.

"I'll make my bath quick so you can wash - I'll assist if you need it." He might not have ever had allies but he had a respect for mauvians and the work they did, how they served senshi and others. They had a planet that had once been the envy of many due to their technology and advances in several areas.

Looking to Athene and Ida, while he continued to pet the cat in his arms. "I wouldn't mind seeing more of these Halloween movies and understanding this time of year more. Some of it I already understand very well and am familiar with." From his own home world, of course, but he didn't say that at the moment.

‘I wish I could be satisfied with this.’

Part of Erytheia understood Ganymede. He wanted to be satisfied, but couldn’t. Was this what was needed on all Deep Space senshi worlds? Would they need to do this again and again?

He felt his heart break, just as it had when he had let Tama go.

“I am glad you found the source of it.” If Alastor had found and destroyed it then the senshi must know it was gone for good. “I am glad it is finally gone.”

He wished his mood could be better. Alastor looked satisfied. That was good. He didn’t know the man well, but he did see a change in his manner now that this was over.

Erytheia looked up at the glass windows and the colors coming through them. It was a beautiful place they had saved. Then why did he feel uneasy?

Sailor Solaris

The hug was quick—she was sore, but she wasn’t not going to convey her happiness for him in that moment. "I won’t keep you, sure lots here are relieved you’re alright after all that," she said gently as she released Alastor and stepped back. Her voice felt thick—probably sounded it—and she cleared her throat. "Find me when I can steal you a moment to talk, though?" Others had approached to speak to Alastor, and she wasn’t remotely full of herself enough to think she’d any priority here.

A degree of ego? Of course, and she’d never deny it.

Immediately, she wandered further back into the Hall, ripping the shimmering fabric that hung between her hands as she went. Only then did she notice it was torn and shredded in some places, weak as it was, and snorted. She wasn’t familiar enough with others present to feel comfortable powering down, and back up, to fully dry herself off—there were bits of debris from when she’d hit the ground that clung to her uniform. Using the light cloth, she dabbed up some of the moisture and brushed away bits of… whatever dirt and such held on.

There was a very strong energy signature, though, that had her attention. Though she wasn’t in pristine condition, when she felt more composed she sought it out. Her brow furrowed. She couldn’t recall if she’d ever felt something nearly to this level before. It drove her curiosity, and… the fact it brought her in the direction of a young woman with wings

Solaris cocked her head, bewildered. She’d have noticed that earlier, surely..? The woman’s face was familiar. She’d seen them with Alastor earlier, hadn’t she? But the senshi she’d seen had been in white, black, and red. And certainly no wings. Was she… similar to them, not from Earth, or..?

"Pardon my intrusion," she started, moving into a respectful distance from the woman in white (Ganymede) and the Knight (Valhalla) near her. Her tone was neutral—that old, old requirement of friendly, but not too much from years as a representative of her people. Part of her was almost annoyed at how easy it could be sometimes to slip back into that. "We have all been through a lot, so I understand if this is not a suitable time. I haven’t felt an energy nearly as powerful as what you’re giving off, so I would appreciate it if you would humor my curiosity when you have a moment, if you’d be comfortable with that."

After so many fights against Chaos, Solaris didn’t exactly expect anyone to be in a mood for large conversations with a stranger.

Mauvian Realta

Keeping herself largely along the outskirts, taking in how people were doing after such a conflict, it only was a matter of time before she rounded upon the Uranus Knight (Hawara) standing apart.

“Hope you don’t mind my joining you a moment,” she sighed, taking a seat somewhat near the man. It was a good place to watch the rest of those gathered while also giving her paws a break. She looked up at him, though, taking in his visual state after the battles. “I’m Realta, hope you don’t mind my prying—but how are you doing after all of that? It was certainly… quite the battle. Which group had you been with?”

It was simple chatter, more or less. But she felt it was a standard bit of conversation after all they’d fought as a collective. Assuming he didn’t mind a chatty cat. But only one way to find out, now wasn’t there?

Eternal Sailor Cybele

Valhalla was alive. That was the first thing that Cybele checked for as she reconvened with the others in the main room. Ganymede, with her unmistakable aura, Cybele picked out a moment later, and while the Princess still seemed to be carrying same exhaustion that had been following her for the last few months, she was in much better shape than the shadow version of her that had come after Cybele.

That thing's cracking face was going to haunt her nightmares, at least for a few days.

Siegfried, beside her, had hurt his hand, but that seemed to be the worst of it. Some of the others looked dirty. Some looked shaken, but everyone was alive.

They'd done it. They'd driven Chaos away from this world, and that put a smile on her face.

When Alastor returned, all eyes were on him, and rightfully so, but it was Sessrumnir, a few steps behind him, who Cybele looked to first. She didn't step too close, not wanting to crowd them out, but she did take a moment to flash him a look that said, See? You didn't even have to drag me out of trouble.

Sailor Daphne

Daphne came in quietly, with Soleiyu. Even after everything that she'd been through, she'd wanted to see the others, but she wasn't sure how much she had it in her right now to call this a victory, or to talk about the future of the fight against Chaos.

Her eyes were red. Her face was puffy. There was no hiding the fact that she'd just been bawling.

Mostly, she wanted to find Adria.

Princess Ida

The change in Alastor was amazing and gratifying, and so full of hope. The whole way back to the main hall, Ida hadn’t been able to stop looking around her with wonder and a glowing sense of pride. They had all beaten the chaos that had plagued this place for a thousand or more years, and now it was free. It wasn’t quite returned to what it had been, like any of their worlds, but now it was free to heal and become something new. It was a safe place again for it’s senshi, a new haven in the universe. She was so happy for Alastor the person that she couldn’t hardly contain it.

Most prominent of the signs of change was the sunlight now flooding the hall, making all the colors glow.

Ida herself was… a little wet still, but she let her new form linger. She’d have to drop it soon enough when she returned to Earth, but it was nice to sort of… stretch out into it. It still felt so new and strange. Seeing Selinur, she made her way towards him, taking up a quiet place by his side. He’d done so well today. She was proud of him, and of Athene and Illyria, for fighting back the chaos in the underground.

“I don’t mind if you want to go first.” She said with a small smile that warmed her dark eyes. The smell really wasn’t that bad, but she could understand. He was fastidious by nature, and that was okay. “You have something like this on your planet to, don’t you? You know you have my support, whenever you need it.”

At the small tug at her dress, Ida dropped down into a crouch and ran her hand over Illyria’s small head, the bracelets around her wrists jingling softly.

“That you, dearling. It is still pretty new… I’m sorry I didn’t mention it earlier. I’m still kind of getting used to it. I can tell you about how it happened when we get back to the apartment if you like.” She said, letting the small cat move towards Athene before Selinur claimed her to hold. Pushing herself back to her feet, Ida glanced over the assembled and was glad to see they didn’t seem to have lost anyone, and most seemed to be mostly uninjured. It could have been worse. This was a victory, and a complete one.

"We can find a movie to watch after we're home and showered, I think." She said with a soft laugh. "Maybe order in some food too."

Eternal Sailor Lysithea

Lysithea nodded, glad that the two boys seemed to be mostly in one piece. “Yeah, we were over by the gate…it got pretty hairy a few times, but we managed. I’m glad that you guys were inside, and I’m very glad that the Chaos is gone…that. I know that we were told to expect it to trick us…but I don’t think I was ready for such underhanded tricks…”

Not that these two Squires needed to be told what had happened but…if she could help get their mind off of things. “If you guys ever want to patrol together when we get back to the city and things get…more normal, let me know.” It was good to have connections…and she wanted to ask some questions about…what being a Moon Knight even entailed…it wasn’t something that she was familiar with but…truthfully, that wasn’t something that was unusual.

“If you’re sure you don’t need any healing, I’m going to go back and be with my court, I just wanted to make sure you two were okay. I was thinking about you a lot during…everything.” Lysithea gave a smile and sighed, a weariness in her eyes that was quickly squashed as she forced a smile.

Looking to Ida he nodded his head, he certainly appreciated thw power she held as a royal senshi, her strength had certainly been needed in today fight. It would be needed in the future...and he knew when it was his turn, when he fought for his own planet, he'd have her strength. "Yeah, similar but not the same. Chaos takes many forms, it is all the same however." He spoke, his words calm and slowly spoken, the words of someone who had seen many things and done too much - he sounded his age.

"It is similar in that the weather has been effected but not in the same way." How much did he say? Did he say it here? He doubted anyone would really hear him here, everyone else so focused on other things. He should be more cautious but instead he moved back and motioned for Athene and Ida to follow him...away from everyone else. "You call it global warming...your planet is warming - mine has warmed fully. We were like your coldest places - winter and snow all the time. There is no snow and everything is dead...it cannot survive the heat." His planet, and everything on it, was not meant for the heat.

"I do not know how safe it would be for people to visit. With the warming it awakened a most deadly foe - one which we could not beat and with communications between planets down." They had been left utterly alone and unable to save themselves. Was the virus still alive and could it spread to people visiting from Earth and if so what would it do to them? Would ot bring the same devistation to Earth as it had to his home planet.

"I can bring you three if you wish to risk yourselves in order to see Selinur. I cannot assure you're safety from what the warming awoke from it's slumber. I wish I could but I can not."

A movie did sound good though but considering what he'd said, and the mood he had surely cast on their little group, he didn't respond to the part about a movie and food...though he really would like both - especially the food.

Illyria, Mauvian

Hearing Ida willing to explain some things that she had missed out on since they'd last seen each other was like a small boon to Illyria. The young Mauvian seriously had missed the Orchid Senshi and wanted to be able to rectify the situation. However, there was a moment of instant panic when unfamiliar arms gathered her off the floor in which she had been sitting before Illyria twisted to see just who had scooped her up like so. Any thoughts of protest to such an action were quickly squashed when gentle hands began a soothing petting sensation and Illyria found herself relaxing in Selinur's hold. The Mauvian would never turn up her nose at such treatment. It was, though, a little bit of a concern that by holding her so close that Selinur would pick up whatever smells the water from the storage chamber had left in her own fur.

At hearing Selinur's suggestion regarding sharing a bath the Mauvian's folded over ears twitched slightly. That had not been expected. Her tail thumped lightly against Selinur's arms as her mind processed the offer.

It would be a practical thing to have assistance in ridding herself entirely of the smell that lingered without resorting to an extensive grooming session but was it a proper offer to make to a Mauvian? Scoffing at the train of thought that was going through her mind Illyria quickly dumped the illogical negative response to considering the alternative. It was true that most cats hated the water but Illyria hated this feeling of not being clean even more. Her voice was soft as she finally put words to what she was thinking, "I can't say if it is appropriate or not but if you wish to offer assistance so that I can truly get clean, then I won't turn down the offer."

Even as she had finished speaking did Ida and Selinur begin to converse about Selinur's world and Illyria listened intently on what was said about how the planet had gone through some sort of warming trend. It also sounded like something else had been dormant and had awoken when the planet began to warm. That was interesting.

Eternal Senshi

Princess Ganymede

Ganymede had little opportunity to continue any sort of conversation with Valhalla once she was wrapped in a hug by another Senshi (Varuna). (Which was probably for the best. There was always a chance she’d be overheard, and some of her allies rarely cared for pessimism.)

The Senshi (Varuna) was familiar in that Ganymede had seen her before, but unfamiliar in that Ganymede had yet to learn her name. It took no time at all for her to come to her own conclusions. She knew this Senshi had been around for years, and that she often stuck close to Palatine. Magic would keep her identity a secret until she revealed herself, yet Ganymede was certain this Senshi with the long, pale hair had to be her cousin.

So Ganymede hugged her back. She almost asked for confirmation, just to be sure, but the approach of yet another Senshi (Solaris) had her hesitating.

Ganymede had been reckless with her own identity in the past. She wouldn’t treat the identity of others with the same careless disregard.

She kept her cousin close while offering a smile to the winged Senshi. As before, Ganymede noted that they were not the wings of an Eternal.

“It shouldn’t take more than a moment,” she said with a light note of humor in her voice. “It’s not so difficult to explain. I have a royal starseed.” Ganymede paused and watched the Senshi curiously. “Have you never encountered a royal Senshi before?”

They were rare in this life — numbering in a handful out of hundreds — but perhaps they always had been.

Sailor Ymir

Ymir didn’t care much for saving his own world. He hadn’t even returned to it yet, though he had the means to do so, and he knew it was waiting for him, probably anxious to be saved. A part of him was content to let it all rot, even if it meant losing his power, or dying with it.

Surtur wouldn’t understand. Their experiences had been so different. Ymir didn’t know how to explain his indifference.

“I don’t know that I can make any promises,” he admitted.

Ymir leaned against Surtur, putting his back to Surtur’s chest. He dropped his head backward onto Surtur’s shoulder and closed his eyes against the Hall.

“Sometimes I think about how I might have been reborn on Earth if the Council had voted for my execution,” Ymir said, voice little more than a quiet murmur. “My starseed might have lived a happier life. Instead, I slept for a thousand years. Sometimes I wish I could sleep for a thousand more.”

He felt guilty for saying so. To Surtur, who’d lost so much after rising to greatness, Ymir’s troubles must seem inconsequential in comparison.

Ymir cracked open his eyes and whispered, “I’m sorry for what you’ve lost.”

He wanted to ask about the little boy. He wanted to ask about what else Chaos might have shown Surtur, but the Hall didn’t seem like the proper place for that conversation.

Super Sailor Varuna

Luckily for the other Senshi (Solaris), Varuna wasn’t much of a talker to begin with. She was just relieved that Ganymede seemed to realize who she was, and she gave her cousin a tighter squeeze while she spoke to the Senshi with the wings.

They’d been so close as children. There were some days Varuna missed their time together. Things happened. They drifted apart. Paris had her own problems, just as Rhiannon had hers.

For the moment she was content with closing her eyes and rubbing Ganymede’s back a little, using her nails to give it a little scratch in what she hoped was comfort and reassurance.

Varuna knew she wasn’t nearly as powerful as Ganymede or the others, but that was because she didn’t want to miss the opportunities she had, when she had them. Now, she was trying to get her footing back into being a proper Senshi.

Sailor Surtur

Casually, Surtur placed his hands on Ymir’s hips when he leaned back against him, and then shifted a little more to wrap them around his waist. He kept his hold light and not restraining, ready to let go the moment it seemed like Ymir didn’t want to be touched.

“I would like you to have a happier life,” Surtur said quietly, hoping his voice was loud enough over the others in the hall. “Selfishly, I’m glad you’re here. I don’t know what I would do if there was no one… Ah, but what if I try to make your life happier now? You can start over. No one knows you or the expectations placed on you,” he reminded him, although he knew it wasn’t that easy.

His heart felt tight in his chest when Ymir spoke again. There was no reason for him to be sorry, but he appreciated the sympathy.

“Maybe I’ll meet them again. Reborn. We might not know each other, but… maybe those I knew got another chance on Earth.”

It was a nice thought. He doubted anything would come from it, but maybe. After all, Valhalla and Ganymede were together in both the past and now.

User Image Sailor Shedir - Senshi of Mummies

Shedir had finally made the walk back to the hall very carefully. With each step she took, she felt like maybe the shadows were still here. Even though with the light she knew that was highly improbable. She was on the watch looking everywhere around her as she walked back. Even though she could see the change happening around here. A change that was for the best for sure, since she could see it with her own eyes. The world wasn't as gloomy as when she had first stepped foot in this world. When she first arrived it was dark, cold, and felt like a whole different place than it did now that the battles were over. She could feel that their fight had made a difference here and for that, she was glad beyond belief. No world deserved to feel dark, cold, and unwelcoming to the people who stepped foot on them. The warmth she felt on her skin was refreshing, and so much better than darkness. This reminded her that there was always light even in the darkness. The light will always fight out and win in the end. No shadows, darkness, chaos, or evil was ever going to defeat the light. At least she was never going to let it, and that was her goal in life. To fight for the light no matter what.

As she tried to smile but her smile felt fake. Seeing her home disappear like that even if it was fake. It took a toll on her, a great toll and she knew that she couldn't stay here long. She just kept seeing the battle flashing in her head and seeing her family dying before her eyes really hurt her. She felt so weak. If this land taught her anything it taught her she needed to be stronger. She needed to be stronger for her family and friends. That nightmare was never going to come true, next time she was in a situation like that real or not she was going to fight and risk everything to save those she cared about. No matter what.

So lost in her own thoughts she almost didn't hear everyone around her. Not even the question as to if she was alright. She quickly realized that while she was happy it was all over, this was not the place for her right now. Where she needed to be was home. Home with the people she loved, the people she needed to see if they were alright. She needed to feel their hugs. Shedir realized this was her queue so she quickly said aloud, "Everyone we did such an amazing job! We did it! I'm so glad this place is shining again, but I apologize that I need to go home. Thank you for allowing me on this adventure." As she said that she got ready to teleport home since she didn't want her fears and worries to wreck the celebration. After all, they all deserved to be happy this was an amazing feat!

[Shedir Exits]

Super Sailor Mira - Senshi of Sugar

Somehow Mira had gotten lost along her way back to the hall. Which she didn't mind since this place was starting to get its life back. She could feel the
shadows disappearing and hopefully for good. It looked as though the battles had been won.

They had taught her something though, and that was that she didn't want to take her family for granted ever again. She wanted them to know she was there for the shop and for her. She was there for it all and she wanted to make more happy memories to try to replace the doubt the shadows had put in her mind. Many memories - were all she wished for and she wanted to hear her parent's voices for real as much as she could.

As she entered the hall she saw everyone at least she thought she did anyways and she was happy to see everyone was alright. She went to a corner with no one near it and sat down on the ground. Honestly, after all that battling she was tired and needed to rest for a moment without having to fight. She was still here but she decided just for a moment she wanted to get some of her strength back, but she did look around the room checking everyone who came back in one piece.

Voyager, Squire of Pluto

Voyager had slowly made his way back to the Hall and watched as everyone mingled with one another or made sure that others were all right. For a moment a sting of loneliness went through him. He stiffened at it, wondering where it came from and if it had been an after effect of the chaos, but it went away soon. He had something else to focus on and he would just have to figure out the reason for the loneliness later.

Though a fleeting through went through his head that as much as he wanted to be a part of all of this, he still wasn't worthy of it, even if he had been eager to become a Knight, even if it was sudden.

He sighed as he leaned up against a wall, letting his breath even out before he decided to go and look at the intricate work of the hall again. It would be much more enjoyable this time without the constant feeling of chaos surrounding him.

----------------------------------------------------

Drombeg, Knight of Earth

Though a bit shaken, Drombeg had managed to make it back to the hall and decided to use it to finally rest for a bit as he sunk against one of the pillars, pulling up a knee and letting himself just feel the moment. The chaos was gone, some were celebrating, some where getting with others. It was good to see. At least he had done something and it made him proud to do so. He still didn't feel fully worthy of being a Knight, but he could at least say he had faced his past self and had defeated it. The feelings of not belonging were still there, but those would take a while anyway considering he had just become a Knight at the beginning of the year.

He closed his eyes, resting for the moment before he went back to Earth and counting down the hours until he could go back to his Wonder. As happy as he was to contribute to taking down chaos, he still felt that he needed to be at his Wonder as long as possible and with this emergency having cut it short, he would have to wait a bit longer to go back to it again.

----------------------------------------------------

Caliban Eternal Senshi of Sealing.

They had gone back across the river, this time with Caliban feeling like he was much less likely to fall in and be swallowed by it and finally they were back at the Hall. Relief was one of the feelings he was a bit overwhelmed with. It felt as though he had been back on his own Homeworld for a moment, right after they had defeated that monster. But this was a bit different. It was chaos that had taken over the world, rather than a monster that had continually destroyed it.

Seeing Gorner like that however had rattled him and he was eager to get back to her. Even if they now lived together, he had felt horrible having to "kill" that manifestation of her though adrenaline had stopped it in the moment. It was now hitting him however and with the feeling of needing to go back to his Homeworld, he was feeling overwhelmed. The first thing he would have to do is go back and hold Key for a bit before he headed back to Caliban.

He took a moment to gather his thoughts and his breath before going back to Earth and basically running back to his apartment.

Super Sailor Perdita

Perdita shrugged. “You don’t have to apologize. It wasn’t you.”

Not that it hadn’t been convincing, at first. Either way, it wasn’t Oberon’s fault she’d fallen for it. Chaos saw an opportunity and took it. At least she’d realized quickly enough that something was off. The entire ordeal could have gone a lot worse. They came out of it relatively well, all things considered.

She let Oberon take her hand and carefully examine it. Perdita wasn’t really worried about it. She doubted she’d even need medical treatment. The soreness would go away in a few days. Next time, she’d throw a better punch. If there was a next time.

Given how many of these alien Senshi there seemed to be, Perdita was sure she’d have ample opportunity. Not to mention everything Earth tended to throw at them.

“How’s your back?” she asked.

She hadn’t seen his collision with the tree, but she could tell by the way Oberon was holding himself that he was a bit sore.

“You know, if you want to talk about it…” Perdita hesitated and almost drifted off. “Or if you don’t, that’s fine, too, but… I’d listen. You don’t have to pretend like you’re okay all the time.”

Sailor Ymir

“Maybe…” Ymir agreed, though he wasn’t entirely sure what he was agreeing to.

Maybe Surtur could try to make his life happier; Ymir had no idea how. Maybe Surtur would meet his loved ones again, reborn on Earth like all the rest. Maybe Ymir would, too. Maybe they could save their worlds and make new lives for themselves, and the past would eventually fade away enough that it felt like a different life.

Or maybe it was all pointless. Maybe they were kidding themselves. Maybe nothing would come from saving their worlds, or saving themselves. Maybe they’d never have any answers to all the questions they’d had since they first made their way to Earth.

Ymir sighed tiredly. He closed his eyes again and let Surtur hold him. It didn’t have to mean anything, except that he was exhausted and lonely and they’d both seen and heard things they’d rather not.

“I’ll help you,” Ymir said. “With Surtur. You can reclaim your world and rebuild, and then… you can have Ymir if you want. It can be the start of your new empire.”

-------------------------------------

Palatine, Knight of Venus

Palatine didn’t linger by Valhalla for long. As soon as she was satisfied that his injury was well on its way to healing up, she moved on. Ganymede seemed fine, just disheveled. Palatine drifted closer only because Varuna was with her.

She was happy that Varuna had her own friends, but Palatine was so used to having Varuna nearby during battle that she couldn’t help but worry now, having been separated from her this time. She hoped Varuna’s new friends watched out for her, even if she knew Varuna was just as capable of looking after herself.

“Do you need some tea?” she asked quietly, close enough that they could exchange reassurances without interrupting Ganymede’s conversation.

Lucasta continued to make her way through the crowd, observing what she could. Most seemed well enough. Others seemed shaken. Some were already leaving. Lucasta frowned to herself, tail flicking behind her. She almost stopped the departing figures with a lecture about duty, but figured it wouldn’t do them much good at the moment. No doubt they were troubled by what they’d seen. Hopefully, with some rest and reflection, they’d come to terms with it enough that it wouldn’t further impede them next time.

There would be a next time, Lucasta had no doubt about that. If it wasn’t some travesty on Earth, it would be another world. Space was vast, and they knew so little of it. Any number of hardships could be waiting for them out there — on their own worlds, on the worlds of others. None of them could afford to run from it. They had to muster up what strength they had, or they were all doomed.

This was a victory — perhaps a small one, in the grand scheme of things, but it would lead them to more victories in the future. They must all learn from it, whatever that looked like for each one of them.
