█BACKGROUND ▬ Auburn has a...complicated past. The first significant point to know is that, Auburn is not her given name. She doesn’t even remember what it is. When she was very young, too young to remember, her parents were protesting the unfair treatment of Faunus activists. Unfortunately, both were killed in a rally gone horribly wrong. At only two or three, she was taken in by a group of Faunus Extremists to be ‘Educated’ in how the Faunus should be the dominant species and that Humans were little more than slaves to them.
Over the years, it became more and more obvious that the lessons didn’t seem to stick to her, and so, she was forced to fight Humans they had captured. And a match wouldn’t be called until there was a death. Her first kill was at only six years old. As the years wore on, she continued to protest the violence, and continued to be tossed into death matches in the hope of desensitizing her. And for every hesitation or instance of ‘traitorous speech’, she was flogged or lashed mercilessly. By ten years of age, it became apparent that she had a gift for fighting. A gift beyond that of her experiences in the matches. Her semblance was active and she rapidly grew in strength and resilience. She was a weapon.
Not long after this discovery, they began keeping her in shackles, beating her without reason, and tossing her into matches more and more frequently, or against more and more opponents. Finally, at age sixteen, she’d been able to incapacitate her guards on the way to the ‘pit’ and took their weapons while freeing herself. Fortunately, one of them was quite large, so, she took his uniform and mask and made her escape. It wasn’t until she reached the outer wall of the base that anything was discovered and she managed to fight her way through the rest of it. Once outside, she ran. She had no clue where she was, but she simply ran until she collapsed. When she woke, she was in a bed, being treated by a huntswoman who found her. After a lengthy conversation where Auburn relayed her experiences, the huntswoman suggested becoming a Huntress and pointed her in the direction of Vale. She kept using the basic sword she took from the guard, but, during her first year at Beacon, she went about crafting her own dust-capable equipment to supplement it.

Each consecutive attempt to push her limits has the chance of injury increase by intervals of 25% with the fourth attempt resulting in injury period. I will roll a d20 in my post if she pushes herself. 1st attempt - 1-5 results in injury. 2nd attempt - 1-10 results in injury. 3rd attempt - 1-15 results in injury 4th attempt - a guaranteed injury
Using her semblance also requires a substantial caloric intake, so, she often ends up eating more than she feels comfortable eating.
Also, excessive use of her Semblance will start taking a toll on her body if she does not rest and stretch, varying from uncontrollable muscle spasms to locking up or pulled muscles. And, if she paces herself, she is fine, but, if she abuses her semblance, it will gradually wear her down, draining her of energy.
While her semblance is powerful, it does not mitigate damage dealt to her and recovery takes a little time (3 posts) for her to start to benefit from it and requires her to back off. Furthermore, she is also limited to the natural situational awareness she has (ie she can only see in the normal visual field for humans). Notably, she has more difficulty in dealing with highly mobile ranged specialists.

She can maintain this activation for up to 4 posts without complication. She can push her semblance though, drawing it out a little longer at the risk of injuring herself.

(200-299 posts) █*LEVEL 3 ▬ When she activates her Semblance, she is capable of lifting up to 3000 lbs and carry a load of up to 1500 lbs. While active, her speed is also increased thrice over and her body recovers from fatigue at the same rate fatigue builds up, resulting in her not tiring from her efforts while her Semblance is active. She can maintain this activation for up to 7 posts without complication. She can push her semblance though, drawing it out a little longer at the risk of injuring herself.(300-399 posts) █*DRAWBACKS ▬ Pushing her semblance has s decent chance of causing crippling pain and injury to her in the process.She will have a maximum extension of posts of four, these will not increase with her levels. Each consecutive attempt to push her limits has the chance of injury increase by intervals of 25% with the fourth attempt resulting in injury period. I will roll a d20 in my post if she pushes herself. 1st attempt - 1-5 results in injury. 2nd attempt - 1-10 results in injury. 3rd attempt - 1-15 results in injury 4th attempt - a guaranteed injury
Using her semblance also requires a substantial caloric intake, so, she often ends up eating more than she feels comfortable eating.
Also, excessive use of her Semblance will start taking a toll on her body if she does not rest and stretch, varying from uncontrollable muscle spasms to locking up or pulled muscles. And, if she paces herself, she is fine, but, if she abuses her semblance, it will gradually wear her down, draining her of energy.
While her semblance is powerful, it does not mitigate damage dealt to her and recovery takes a little time (3 posts) for her to start to benefit from it and requires her to back off. Furthermore, she is also limited to the natural situational awareness she has (ie she can only see in the normal visual field for humans). Notably, she has more difficulty in dealing with highly mobile ranged specialists.
