On the other end he has a very low tolerance for stupidity and can often be very blunt in his deliveries and lectures. While he never holds malicious intent, his words can come off as harsh at times, but if he ever learned that he hurt someone's feelings he would not hesitate to apologize. He is the first to admit when he is wrong and looks to correct it in whatever way he can. Asger is not shy, but can be at times awkward in social situations. His mind is better suited to books then to people. Certain topics will lead him to blushing, or nervously running his finger through his hands. █Vernacular ▬ Asger speaks in with lovely baritone voices that could almost be considered melodic. █BACKGROUND ▬ Asger was born into a happy family; two loving parents and multiple younger and older siblings. They all got along well for the most part. There were disputes here and there, but nothing out of ordinary for any happy family. Even from a young age, Asger was a book worm. He nearly always had his nose buried in the pages and often read things much more advance for a child his age. He had a constant craving to learn, a desire to know. His desire to became a hunter surprised most people. He was much more suited to be a researcher, a scientist, a professor even. In truth, he hadn't always wanted to be a hunter. There was one defining moment in his life that made that choice from him. It wiped away the slightest thought of any other option or career choice. When his younger sister was just a child, she was nearly killed by Grimm on a journey to Vale. Of all his siblings, he was likely the closest with Danae, whom was just a short year and a half younger than him. The fear of nearly loosing her haunted him for years to come. Paired with the devastation of the reality. The Grimm problem was getting increasingly worse. His sister, or any of his siblings, could very well be attacked again and they might not be so lucky next time. It was this that shaped his desire to become a hunter, controlled his decisions for years to come, and carved him into the person he is today.
Book smarts, strategy, tactics, it all came easy to Asger. However, the practical form of being on a battle field was rather complicated with the way his brain was wired. He had to train much harder than others to succeed and to get the level he needed to attend Signal. He was natural tall, naturally big, but not excessively strong. He had to work for that too. He was not naturally suited to be a hunter but he wasn't ready to give up on the desire either. The same way he had spent extra hours training his brain as a child, he spent extra hours training his body during his years at signal. He often stayed after classes, honing his abilities. It was not an optional thing. He had to in order to keep up with the other students. His first year was the hardest. He often fell behind the others in his combat training, he was hanging on by mere threads. It was this year that he met an eccentric girl names Eve. Where he struggled with the physical aspects of training, she struggled with the book smarts. Asger was never really sure why she took such a liking to him, but from that day they made a pact. They helped each other. Eve trained Asger and Asger tutored Eve... though, it took him a long time to admit to her that she was pronouncing his name wrong. Over the next year his progress steadily continued. Things that had never came easily or natural to him got simpler. It started feeling less like he was going against his nature. He started climbing the latter, right on track to graduate Signal and get accepted into Beacon. There was just one fatal flaw he never quite got over. His compulsion to always have a plan often made him hesitant. While it was a handy skill to have, it made him incapable of rushing into battle, even when it was needed.
It was growing closer to his end at Signal and his beginning of Beacon when he made a decision that would quickly become the biggest regret of his life. He and some classmates, Eve included, had heard of the Grimm that wondered the outskirts of the wilds. They had heard of the attacks they had lead on small villages, the havoc they wrecked, the devastation they wrought, and oh-so-many lives they had shattered. Young, brave, ambitious, and a bit too naïve, him and these classmates wanted to do something about it. They weren't hunters and huntresses yet, but that didn't mean they couldn't fight. They had come so far and progressed so well. They were strong. They were ready... or so they thought. Asger was hesitant about it at first, but Eve managed to convince him by letting him craft the plan. It was a brilliant tactic at that. It might have worked. Were they just a little stronger and a little wiser. Mere minutes into the battle with the grimm they had so vigorously sought out, everything began crumbling. There were too many, they were too strong, and their panic just kept drawing more. Everything was falling apart, the group injured, exhausted, and nearly drained of aura. None of them had been battle ready, but least of all Asger. He'd never fought outside of a training ground. It had always been regulated and refereed. He hadn't ever faced the fear of a real fight, with an unforgiving enemy, death lurking just around the corner. In was in a moment of hesitation that he lost the life of his companions and nearly his own.
He had suffered many injuries and so had his comrads. Not to mention Eve kept taking bites out of him to fuel her own semblance. He never minded, not if that meant he could save her and the pain from her teeth could hardly be felt over the adrenaline and pain of his other injuries. A blow to the head took him out of the running. He only half-remembered Eve pulling him aside. Her face was so blury as the darkness lurked at the edge of his vision. The last thing he remembers is her vibrant hues peering at him in panic. When he woke, the grimm were gone, but so were his friends. Dead. Every single one of them. Their bodies littered the battle field, all but Eve. He was never sure what happened to her, but he assumed the worst. The guilt tortures him to this day. He blames himself for their demise. He should have been wiser, stronger, faster. He should have done something, but his hesitation had killed them and yet he had somehow miraculously survived it all. A bitter sweet mercy, for it was almost more torturous than it was anything else. He was lying in a puddle of his own, weak and in an immense amount of pain, he wasn't sure how he was going to make it back to Signal. If he did manage that... how was he going to explain all of this. However, it was the least of his worries, for before he had even the slightest chance to plot his next move, he was taken captive by a group of anti-faunus activists. His wings were always a dead give away. Too weak to fight, he was forced to submit. He was held captive for nearly a year, submitted to countless tortures, kept just strong enough to be alive. No more. No less. He was fed just enough to keep him from starving and was often left in a half-delirious state. He was never entirely sure why they kept him there. All he knew was that he was not the only one being held there. Whether it was for their own twisted games or some secret master plan, he never stuck around. He took the first opportunity he got to escape.
The night he escaped was a brutal one. Torture had become a norm, but this went beyond that. They had tried to take his wings and that had awoken a fear and anger with him that was enough to clear the daze from his mind. With the help of his semblance, he was able to make it away from the imprisonment, free and lost within the woods of Vale. Seemingly returning from the dead, he wasn't entirely sure what to do with himself. Did he just go home? Did he return to Signal. Still riddled with guild and shame from his failure, he wasn't sure he could face either of those options. He couldn't bear to see the disappointment on the face of his parents or his prior teachers. It would only make the feelings that were slowly gnawing away at his soul that much worse. A different plan slowly started to take root. Using his quick wits and the combat skills he had taken with him from Signal, he managed to test his way into Beacon on forged papers. He never did go reunite with his parents or his other siblings, but if he knew anything about his younger sister, Danae, it was that she would be at Beacon and he would be forced to face her soon.

█PRIMARY WEAPON █ ▬ Caelum Mortem (Translates roughly to Death from Above) █ ▬ Asger's weapon is simple enough, he wields twin scimitars that can be attached to form a short bow, how it works essentially. █Melee Form ▬ Twin scimitars: their curved blades are deadly sharp and each are 30 inches in length Dust may be attached within the hilt to create various effects, each will last for 3 strikes. █Ranged Form ▬ By attaching the two scimitars at the handles, a string emerges from one blade and is attached to the other, which then forms a short bow that is approximately 60 inches in length. He can shoot accurately up to 200 yards. The arrows may also be infused with dust, but each effect will wear off after it's hit its target. █Other Form(s) ▬ N/A █Ammo Type ▬ He carries physical arrows that can be amplified by dust for added effects. █ ▬ The biggest draw back of his weapon would be that his transformation from melee to ranged form takes longer than most. He has to physically attach the string to the bow and thus is left vulnerable and defenseless for several moments while he does this. In most cases if he wanted to switch forms he would have to break free and find cover to give him the opportunity to transform his weapon.
█*NAME ▬ Avis █*AURA COLOR ▬ Vermilion █*DESCRIPTION █ ▬ Asger's semblance is simple in design but can be deadly when applied tactically. Avis gives him the ability to regenerate, strengthen, and manipulate his feathers. The feathers adorning his body become hard like steel, creating an armor like barrier. The feathers on his wings are strengthened and become razor sharp, easily cutting through flesh and armor. It makes flying through cluttered spaces easier as the semblance strengthens his wings and allows him to clear through shrubbery. The razor sharp edges of his wings can also be used as weapons if need be. Beyond that, he is able to literally remove the feathers from his wings and telepathically control them and use them as weapons. When his semblance is dismissed, his feathers return to their rightful place. If any if them are destroyed, he can regenerate an allotted number of them over a period of time. █*LEVEL 0 ▬ (0-99 posts) Asger can remove and manipulate 20 of his feathers, each feather is approximately 6 inches long. He can only use them within a twenty-five foot circle of him. His feather's remain hardened and sharp for 4 posts. He will need a 8 post cool down before reactivating his semblance. If any of his feathers are damaged or destroyed during the semblance, he can regenerate up to 10 new ones. The feathers regenerate over his cool down period. If lost more than he can regenerate, they will naturally grow back naturally █*LEVEL 1▬ (100-199 posts) Asger can remove and manipulate 30 of his feathers. He can only use them within a fifty foot circle of him. His feather's remain hardened and sharp for 6 posts. He will need a 12 post cool down before reactivating his semblance. If any of his feathers are damaged or destroyed during the semblance, he can regenerate up to 15 new ones. █*LEVEL 2▬ (200-299 posts) Asger can remove and manipulate 40 of his feathers. He can only use them within a seventy-five foot circle of him. His feather's remain hardened and sharp for 8 posts. He will need a 16 post cool down before reactivating his semblance. If any of his feathers are damaged or destroyed during the semblance, he can regenerate up to 20 new ones. █*LEVEL 3 ▬ (300-399 posts) Asger can remove and manipulate 50 of his feathers. He can only use them within a one hundred foot radius of him. His feather's remain hardened and sharp for 10 posts. He will need a 20 post cool down before reactivating his semblance. If any of his feathers are damaged or destroyed during the semblance, he can regenerate up to 25 new ones. The feathers regenerate over his cool down length plus one more posts for a total of four posts. █*DRAWBACKS ▬ The biggest drawback of his semblance is that it uses actual pieces of him. While his feathers are strengthened, they are not indestructible. It is possible for them to be destroyed in his attacks. If they are destroyed, it causes him physical pain. Not only that, but he can never regenerate all of his feathers, so if more were to be destroyed then what he can regenerate, he would be missing feathers that he would have to grown back naturally, which takes a lot of time. If over time he is continually coming up short with his feathers, it might eventually effect his flight. His semblence is also draining and requires a lot of energy, regenerating his feathers also takes a lot of energy, thus he always needs twice as long to cool down than what he can use his semblance.

██ ╫ H I S T O R Y ╫
While i was a handy skill to have, it made him incapable of rushing into battle, even when it was needed.
It was growing closer to his end at Signal and his beginning of Beacon when he made a decision that would quickly become the biggest regret of his life. They had heard of the Grimm that wondered the outskirts of the wilds. They had heard of the attacks they had lead on small villages, the havoc they wrecked, the devastation the wrought, and oh-so-many lives they had shattered. Young, brave, ambitious, and a bit too naive, him and a few friends wanted to do something about it. They weren't hunters and huntresses yet, but that did't mean they couldn't fight. They had come so far and progressed so well. They were strong. They were ready... or so they thought. Asger was hesitant about it at first, but they managed to convince him by letting him craft the plan. It was a brilliant tactic at that. It might have worked. Were they just a little stronger and a little wiser. Mere minutes into the battle with the grimm they had so vigorously sought out, everything began crumbling. There were two many, they were too strong, and their panic just kept drawing more.
He had suffered many injuries, but a blow to the head had taken him out of the running. When he woke, the grimm were gone, but so were his friends. Dead. Every single one of them. The guilt tortures him to this day. He blames himself for their demise. He should have been wiser, stronger, faster. He should have done something, but his hesitation had killed them and yet he had somehow mercilessly survived it all.

█PRIMARY WEAPON █ ▬ Caelum Mortem (Translates roughly to Death from Above) █ ▬ Asger weapon is simple enough, he wields twin scimitars that can be attached by the handles to form a short bow, pictured here. █Melee Form ▬ Twin scrimitars: their curved blades are deadly sharp and each are 30 inches in length █Ranged Form ▬ By attaching the two scrimitars at the handles, a string emerges from one blade and is attached to the other, which then forms a short bow that is approximately 60 inches in length. █Other Form(s) ▬ N/A █Ammo Type ▬ He carries physical arrows that can be amplified by dust for added effects. █ ▬ The biggest draw back of his weapon would be that his transformation from melee to ranged form takes longer than most. He has to physically attach the strong to the bow and thus is left vulnerable and defenseless for several moments while he does this. In most cases if he wanted to switch forms he would have to break free and find cover to give him the opportunity to transform his weapon.
█*NAME ▬ Avis █*AURA COLOR ▬ Vermilion █*DESCRIPTION █ ▬ Asger's semblance is simple indesign but can be deadly when applied tactically. █*LEVEL 0 ▬ (0-99 posts) Asger can remove and manipulate fifteen of his feathers. He can only use them within a twenty-five foot radius of him. His feather's remain hardened and sharp for five posts. He will need a seven post cool down before reactivating his semblance. If any of his feathers are damaged or destroyed during the semblance, he can regenerate up to five new ones. The feathers regenerate over his cool down length plus three more posts for a total of ten posts. █*LEVEL 1▬ (100-199 posts) Asger can remove and manipulate thirty of his feathers. He can only use them within a fifty foot radius of him. His feather's remain hardened and sharp for seven posts. He will need a five post cool down before reactivating his semblance. If any of his feathers are damaged or destroyed during the semblance, he can regenerate up to twenty new ones. The feathers regenerate over his cool down length plus three more posts for a total of eight posts. █*LEVEL 2▬ (200-299 posts) Asger can remove and manipulate fourty-five of his feathers. He can only use them within a seventy-five foot radius of him. His feather's remain hardened and sharp for nine posts. He will need a three post cool down before reactivating his semblance. If any of his feathers are damaged or destroyed during the semblance, he can regenerate up to thirty-five new ones. The feathers regenerate over his cool down length plus two more posts for a total of six posts. █*LEVEL 3 ▬ (300-399 posts) Asger can remove and manipulate sixty of his feathers. He can only use them within a one hundred foot radius of him. His feather's remain hardened and sharp for eleven posts. He will need a three post cool down before reactivating his semblance. If any of his feathers are damaged or destroyed during the semblance, he can regenerate up to fourty new ones. Not only that, but he can never regenerate all of his feathers, so if mire were to be destroyed then what he can regenerate, he would be missing feathers that he would have to grown back naturally, which takes a lot of time. If over time he is continually coming up short with his feathers, it might eventually effect his flight.

They helped each other. Eve trained Asger and Asger tutored Eve... though, it took him a long time to admit to her that she was pronouncing his name wrong.
