「PERSONALITY」
Goldenleaf is a strong she-cat with a mind of her own. She doesn't believe in just following those around her for the sake of it. One must earn her admiration and respect, although once you have it you'll find it difficult to disappoint her. Goldenleaf never gives up on her morals and views; she'd rather be outcasted for something she believes in than suffer knowing she never stood up for herself. In this regard she can be difficult, but she's also rewarding to get to know. Goldenleaf is passionate, loyal, and takes her friendships seriously. If you've won her over she'll do what it takes to ensure your safety and sanity.
Goldenleaf is scarred from her time with Mountain Clan, back when starvation and disease plagued the clan. She is constantly observing herself and looking for any sign of weakness. She also feels strange about food and insists those weaker and younger than her eat as much as they can. She is constantly looking for danger and is one of the first to fight it head on. The panic Mountain Clan caused her has created a cat looking over her shoulder at every moment, but it keeps her safe.
Also, as a fun fact, Goldenleaf loves fish and will pretty much do just about anything for some.

「BIOGRAPHY」
█ || Kit ⋯
Goldenkit was born to a litter of three. Her siblings, unfortunately, ended up dying a few days after birth, but Goldenkit grew up strong and eager. Her mother constantly fought to keep her in the den until it was time for her to leave. She often tried to chase after her father when she could. When she was finally allowed out she immediately began causing trouble -- investigating every nook and cranny before anyone could stop her.
Unfortunate events liked her family, causing her father to die during a patrol. He ended up falling down a cliff, leaving behind his mate and child. Grief stricken, Goldenkit's mother wasted away in her misery. Goldenkit was left alone days before her apprenticeship came up.

█ || Apprentice⋯
Due to her more rambunctious nature, Goldenpaw was given a mentor who wouldn't put up with her nonsense. Quickly trained to be useful, Goldenpaw began to stop tearing up her clan every chance she got. However, she became too clan orientated, often shoving herself onto patrols whenever she could and pressing things too far. Reprimanded plenty of times, Goldenpaw grew used to being disciplined.
She became fiercely angry when her mentor retired from their warrior duties to become a queen. She couldn't understand why one would give up their warrior duties for children. That, and her mentor never returned to being a warrior. Given a new mentor, Goldenpaw ignored her old one and worked harder at being a better hunter and provider. This, however, became an obsessive interest. One day, Goldenpaw snapped and ran off to hunt on her own. She provoked a family of squirrels and ended up returning home with quite a bit of fur missing and a damaged ego.
This was enough for her to brighten up. She behaved as expected and began to rely on the routine of her duties. Later, she apologized to her old mentor.

█ || Warrior ⋯
Goldenleaf, named after her light steps, grew into a warrior peacefully after her squirrel stint. Content with life, she would have remained happy with her duties and performing them for eternity. Except, fate had different plans.
A famine hit the clan and she watched as her friends died around her. Losing the leader and medicine cat hit her hardest, as the fine structure of life crumpled around her. Suddenly, there were no more rules -- just panic. Sunseer rose to leadership and there lacked a deputy or medicine cat. She watched everyone wither away and became obsessive over her own body, afraid it'd fail her too. Sunseer's daughter, Littlekit, became Littlepaw and shortly after miraculously named medicine cat apprentice by the deceased Dovetail. Nothing made sense anymore.
And then, after spending a relaxing evening with Bloodoath she became pregnant. Terror hit her hard. The clan was dying and she had no proof her kits would survive. While she decided to entrust herself to Littlepaw it didn't quell the absurd amount of terror collecting in her throat. Suddenly, life wasn't easy anymore, and Goldenleaf wished for the times when she was a kit nestled under her mothers arm.

「RELATIONSHIPS」
█ || Bloodoath ⋯ Male ⋯ Mountain Clan
Amusing during trying times, Goldenleaf has always enjoyed his blunt words and how ridiculous they can come across. He's been a friend during the great famine and she's always viewed him in awe. She doesn't really think twice about his teeth, although she's been known to tear up food for him when they share kill. Her admiration for him might have changed into a mild crush after an intimate evening resulted in her first pregnancy. She doesn't pursue the crush, however, as she's fully aware what they had was fleeting and an outlet. It doesn't change the fact he's the father to her first set of kids and he has a spot in her heart.

█ || Littlepaw ⋯ Female ⋯ Mountain Clan
Goldenleaf is coming to the terms that Littlepaw might just be the friend she always needed. She never really considered the cat as anything special until Littlepaw reached out and comforted her during her pregnancy. She views Littlepaw as someone she'd stick her neck out for, although she hasn't quite reached the point of entrusting the cat with her secrets. Goldenleaf looks out for herbs Littlepaw might need or enjoy on her hunts now. She does struggle with the fact Littlepaw is still so young and has so much responsibility on her shoulders. This can get in the way of their interactions and Goldenleaf has a habit of shutting down her worries and fears around Littlepaw in an effort to lessen strain.

█ || Graypaw ⋯ Female ⋯ Mountain Clan
Her first apprentice! Goldenleaf is excited to mentor Graypaw. She met Graypaw as a kit and was instantly taken with their curiosity and initiative. She has great hopes for Graypaw and prays she's able to mentor them properly. Graypaw is one of the reasons she's decided not to remain in the den after the kits arrive, although the decision is a hard one. She's just glad there's queens who can nurture her young while she tends to clan matters.

「ROLEPLAY LOG」
█ || Fresh From the Nursery ⋯ With Graykit ⋯ Ongoing
Goldenleaf meets Graykit, who takes an adventurous step out of her den and bumps into Goldenleaf. Instead of sending the kit back inside, she takes the time to get to know the kit and answer her questions. Graykit's curious nature is endearing for Goldenleaf, who later wonders if Graykit will become a strong adventurer for the clan.

Goldenleaf assists Dustfeather in hunting. While confused why he's insecure about his hunting ability, she does come to understand all her needs is a little confidence, as he proves his capability right in front of her. Really, he probably is a better hunter than her!

█ || Comfort in Strange Times ⋯ With Bloodoath ⋯ Finished
Bloodoath was always someone Goldenleaf found admirable. While his blunt nature could throw the clan in a tizzy, he remained strong during trying times. So, when she sought him out for a relaxing evening with a friend she wasn't exactly against his courting. One fish lead to... well, she's not telling!

Shortly after her evening with Bloodoath she finds that she doesn't feel quite right. It's not a common occurrence when she finds herself in Littlepaw's care, although she assumes it's just a stomach ache. Realization hits her when Littlepaw makes a comment and the two are shocked to discover Goldenleaf is pregnant. Overcome with absolute terror at the idea of giving birth during a famine, Goldenleaf allows herself to rely on Littlepaw's kindness.

Needing all the support she can get, Goldenleaf decides to tell Bloodoath he's a father. That, and he has rather distinct markings -- she doubts she could get away with hiding it!
