Ideih stared at her finger, a single tear she had caught from her cheek rolling down it. Why was she crying?
This was so strange...
Why couldn't she remember why she was crying?

Ideih sat against a wall staring straight ahead of herself, her legs hugged to her chest and her chin rested on her knees. Battle after battle..and for what?
Why?
None of it was leading her to what she was looking for...right?
It was so hard to tell. Every time she got a little bit further she felt less whole, and yet more complete. Ideih couldn't shake that feeling that something was missing.
Something important.
She looked to one side. Why did she feel so...alone?
What was she searching for? Was it just these green orbs? It couldn't be. They made her happy to look at but she didn't feel that satisfaction one should have when they've found what they were looking for more than anything in the world.
There was suddenly a brighter glow emanating from her chest. Ideih blinked and sat up, looking down and watching as a..pendant formed. She now wore a glowing blue necklace.
What?
She held it gently in her hands. It was so beautiful...

Heidi.
Who was Heidi? What had she learned about her? This girl...she was loved. What did she look like? Was she a nice girl? She must have been if whatever man's voice she kept hearing loved her. Ideih picked up one of the golden orbs. She smiled helplessly, tilting her head and picking up a second one. Hm...
She lifted them and held them out at arm's length in front of her, keeping them as eye level as possible. Two golden orbs...warm and bright. Ideih's curious look softened. Her core pulsed with a soft light similar to if her heart had fluttered. It startled her and she dropped the two objects on her lap, her hands pressing to her chest as she stared down at everything she was sitting with. Why couldn't she breathe? It didn't make any sense.
The Goddesses...would they know the answer?
Perhaps they would be able to explain these feelings Ideih was having more and more often. She couldn't explain it. Things were triggering emotions she couldn't explain. The color green filled her with feelings of happiness, gold made her feel warm, happy, safe; the blue pendant around her neck gave her a sense of...belonging.
None of it made any sense.
And then there was that longing, that undying need to find something. What was she looking for? No matter how many objects she found, no matter how many things she collected, nothing satisfied that need to find something. Nothing made her feel quite whole. Physically she felt more solid, more complete. She was able to make out a braid in her hair and that under her clothes she was thin and lithe with just enough curve to pass more as a woman than a man. There were places where her skin seemed..lighter, such as the thin lines on her three middle fingers on her right hand, as if something as thin as a hair or..a string had cut them or dug into them.
She shook her head, rubbing her temple and sighing. No matter how many friends she made and met she still felt lonely. She still felt alone. Ideih still remembered when she had suddenly caught herself crying and she had no idea why it had happened. What had made her so upset? Why couldn't she remember it?
A piece of her was missing and she couldn't figure out why.

"Want a ride? My mom and I were on our way to pick up dinner, but we can give you a lift if you want."
"Uh...sure."
"Awesome! Get in!"
"Fine. I'll do it. But you have to do it, too."
Beatrice grinned. "Was totally planning on that. C'mon!"
"So?! I love him! You've never been in love, Heidi. You wouldn't get it. I'm staying, okay? You don't even have the grades to go to Julliard anymo--" Beatriced gasped. "Heidi I'm so sor--"
"Get out.."
"Wh-what?"
Heidi choked around a sob and pointed at her bedroom door. "Get OUT!"
"Heidi, I um. I wanted to talk to you about somethin'."
"Hmm? What's up?"
"I just wanted you to know that I like you." Tuck cleared his throat. "I mean that I .. I really like you. More than friends."
"Like..you'll be my boyfriend?" Heidi asked as she scoot closer. "And I'll be your girlfriend? Only me?"
There was a huge smile on Tuck's face. "Yeah, I .. I will. And you'll be my girl, only you. Nobody else. An' I promise, I ain't gonna.. you know. You still settin' the pace."
"Ohohoh! Or you could do the christmas song from that show! DO IT DO IT DO IT! Oh maaaaaan you'd be SO awesome at it! You'd be the best Heidi!"
"I love you, Tuck."
"I love you, Heidi."

It feels weird having a tangible body, heavier than just memories, and it does not help to have memories, sometimes whispers, sometimes just silence, flicker back and forth. You maybe - saved - perhaps - something important - you were a hero maybe - -- "Who do you think you are?"A voice whispers to you, and you look around.
