Solo - Awakening
Wh..where am I? The little Pokekid wondered as she sat up. Looking down at her unusual body, she then pondered, What Am I? Seemingly coming from nowhere, the answer popped into her head, A Pokémon! She knew what that was, but how did she know? She couldn’t remember anything. She didn’t know who she was or how she had arrived in what appeared to be a broken down stone dwelling. As she looked about herself, she could see rubble scattered about, and the roof, of whatever this place was, was long gone.
She carefully examined her body. Despite the damage to the structure, she seemed to be intact. She was quite naked though. She didn’t know why, but she suddenly felt self conscious. Is it normal for a Pokémon to feel self conscious about being naked? Weren’t they all naked? They didn’t wear clothes…. Why do I feel the need to wear clothing? Despite the lack of any specific memories, she did seem to have a database of information, on the various types of Pokémon, stored in her head. She could remember so many different types, but, despite knowing she was one, she couldn’t place herself as any. This unsettled her. She wished she knew something about herself.
She decided that she could do nothing about that, at least not for now. The best she could do was to maybe find something to cover her nakedness and maybe find some shelter as well. Whatever this building was, it was small. Maybe some sort of dilapidated storage shed? How do I even know what a storage shed is? These random facts, things she felt she could have no way of knowing, came to her from the back of her mind. As unsettling as they were, they did give her some hope. She had to of gotten this knowledge somewhere. She hoped this meant that her memories were just hidden, that maybe they would come back to her.
Whether this place was a shed or not, it seemed to be located in the deeps of some forest. Looking up at the sky, she saw that the sun was just rising. She didn’t know how she was so certain on the fact, but, she did feel a bit relieved that she would have plenty of daylight. Covering herself, as best she could with one of her arms and her tail, she set out.
The surrounding area was rather overgrown and there were no paths cutting through it. She couldn’t help but wonder how long she would be in these woods.
The minutes soon dragged onto hours and, after a day of walking, darkness was fast approaching. She was worried she would be lost out here in the dark. Cold, alone, and quite naked…. She did not look forward to that prospect. She also didn’t realize that the cold wouldn’t actually bother her. She would have actually been fine even if there was a light snow. This knowledge, though, did not pop suddenly in her mind; it was something that she would have to later learn on her own. Just then, though, when all hope was seemingly lost, she came across a clearing. In the distance was a reasonably sized two story house.
Despite the approach of dusk, the house was completely dark. She couldn’t help but wonder if it was abandoned. If it was, she might not find clothing, but she could at least find some shelter. As it was quite in the open, she hurried over to the house now with both arms and her tail covering her body. Peeking in through the windows, she saw nothing moving about. She then set out trying every door and window. The fence surrounding the backyard proved to not be any sort of hindrance. She easily pulled herself over it. She had not realized she was so strong and coordinated. That could be helpful, she thought.
Unfortunately, all the windows and doors seemed to be locked. She was disappointed. Maybe I could break in? It was just then that she noticed a bush with some berries on it and realized she was starving. Saving the decision for how to get in for later, she hurried over to the bush and began to quickly devour the berries. How did I not notice I was this hungry? As she sated her appetite, she happened to glance at the second story. One of the windows was open! It was awfully high up, but, since she had made such short work of the fence, she figured it was worth a shot to try climbing up. It was a lot easier then she expected and soon she was inside.
The window led to what appeared to be a little girl’s room. It seemed somewhat fitting since, well, wasn’t that what she was? She was a Pokémon and not a human, of course, but still, she was a little Pokémon girl. It was a bit hard to see, but after stumbling around, she found a light switch. How do I even know what this is? Luckily, the power still seemed to be connected, and soon she had plenty of light to see.
She found some clothing in the closet and quickly dressed herself. A flood of relief came over her. She was clothed and she had found shelter. A smile spread across her face, she turned the lights back off and slid into the bed. She was home!

Solo - Meeting Lexi
“What was that?” the blue little poke kid wondered aloud. She had been lying in bed, doodling on some paper she had found, when she heard an unusual noise outside. She had never heard a sound like that before. Her curiosity piqued, she popped out the window and pulled herself up to the roof. Despite being able to unlock and open the doors of the house, she preferred entering and exiting through the second story window.
Perched atop the roof, she saw what had caused the sound. It was a car pulling up. So far she had been living in the house for about 2 weeks, but she had yet to see anyone. Could the occupants finally be home? How would they react to her? Would she soon have to find a new place to live? She hoped not, she really liked it here.
The passenger side door popped open and out popped a little girl. Wait, that’s not just a little girl; that is a little poke girl! She looks like a ralts? Yeah, a human ish ralts. Is she some sort of odd Pokémon like me? Will she let me live with her since we are the same?! The blue little girl was ecstatic! Maybe she would be accepted here! She couldn’t hear what was being said, but it looked like the newcomer was saying something to a person in the car and waving. She pulled a bag out of the back seat of the car, and, as soon as she had closed the door and stepped away, the car backed up and drove off.
Well, it is just us two now; I will have to be sure to make a good impression! She continued to watch as the Ralts made her way to the front door and unlocked it, just as the other girl was about to open the door, she decided to greet her. With a flash the agile poke child jumped off the room and landed a couple feet away. “Hello! How are you? Do you live here? Can I stay with you?”
All of the blue girls comments blended into one incomprehensible jumble as the little Ralts’ eyes grew wide and she feinted. Luckily, the mystery poke girl was quite quick on her feet and caught her. Concerned about the girl, that she had just met, she carried her in and set her upon the couch. Then she sat down and waited.
A half hour or so passed and the Ralts girl awoke. “Wha…wha happened? Where am I?”
“I think you feinted!” the blue girl chimed in.
The reply to that was a loud, piercing shriek. “Who are you? How did you get here? What do you want with me?”
“I… I… don’t know who I am…. I have been living here…. Can I stay?” The initial shock was lessened when the Ralts began sensing the other girl’s emotions. She didn’t seem to mean harm. She felt worried and lost.
“Hi, I’m Alexis, you can call me Lexi. You don’t know who you are?”
The other Pokegirl shook her head in response.
“Well, if you are going to stay… you certainly need a name!” She hadn’t asked Celes yet, but she was sure she would agree to take her in. She took Lexi in after all! “What do you think of… Sasha? It’s a character in a book I read!”
“Sasha? I like it!” Sasha replied with a giggle. “You can read? Could you teach me to read?!”
“Sure, but um, I am going to go to my room and change, I’ll be right back.”
A surge of relief flooded the newly named Sasha. She now had a place to stay and it looked like a new friend!
Suddenly, from upstairs, Alexis loudly exclaimed, “WHAT DID YOU DO TO My ROOM?!”

Solo - Learning EARTHQUAKE
Today was the day she would master it! It shouldn’t be too hard for her to master, though. The ground already had a tendency to shake when she jumped down onto it from great heights. Lexi never noticed it, but, as of late, she did have a tendency to hover above the ground. Sasha made a mental note that she would have to learn to levitate sometime. I mean, she had no idea what she was, so it could very well be an ability she should be able to learn. She wouldn’t know for certain till she tried, though. But that was neither here nor there, she must return to the task at hand. She must learn earthquake!
“You can do it Sasha!” Lexi cheered from nearby. Had she been another Pokémon, she would have been too close for comfort. As it was, thanks to her newly acquired ability, Lexi was comfortable sitting cross-legged, one foot off the ground. Coincidentally, she was a good foot away from danger as well.
Smiling at the encouragement, Sasha replied, “Thanks Lexi!” Ready to focus, Sasha entered into a wide legged stance and began to shake quite forcefully. The ground did not respond. Lexi did respond to Sasha’s shaking though. She couldn’t help but release a quick giggle. The flecks of blue on Sasha’s face turned a deep purple; the surrounding flesh turned red. She couldn’t help but be slightly embarrassed. She must look absolutely silly.
“Um, did the ground shake at all, Lexi?”
“I don’t think so,” she replied with a shake of her head.
“How about now?” Sasha asked as she began to jump in place.
“No,” she answered, “that isn’t doing anything either.”
With a sigh, Sasha sat down to take a break. How is this supposed to work? Lexi knows so many moves. She is so powerful. Why can’t I learn just this one move?
It was then, while Sasha was lost in thought, that Lexi had an idea! “Sasha!
Your fist is really, really, really strong right?”
“Um, yeah. Why do you ask?
“Why don’t you try punching the ground? I bet that would work!”
Sasha thought that that was a great idea! She would give it a go! She once again entered her wide legged stance. Closing her eyes, she breathed in deeply and exhaled. Focusing her strength into her fist, she punched downward, as hard as she could. The earth didn’t exactly quake, but ripples did shoot out from where she made impact. It wasn’t a full force earthquake, but it was definitely a start!
“Yay!” Lexi exclaimed as she stood up and ran over to Sasha, “you did it! It made little ripples in the ground! Before long the earth will be shaking!”
Sasha was proud. She hadn’t quite mastered it, but she was well on her way. With a little more practice, she will soon make the earth quake at the touch of her iron fist.
“Do it again!” Lexi giggled out.
Raising her fist up in the air, Sasha stated, “Ok, here we go!”
