About Cael: Under socialized, friendly, likes exploring, very naive, shy at first. He has many strange assumptions about pokemon and is very surprised when they turn out wrong.
History: His parents worked at Inhinx prior to it's abandonment and sent him to live with an eccentric family friend known as Uncle or Grandpa, a researcher who lived miles away, when unrest started in the town. The researcher often involved the kid in his experiments, sometimes in unreasonable capacities for a child. He still believes his "grandpa" gave him pokerus once. The researcher keeps dozens of large types of northern adapted canine pokemon for dray/sled work.
Personal Note: The shops current official timeline means that this character would need to be at least 27 to participate in "modern" events. I'm going to fudge this. All over. Excessively.
There is not... at the time being. If it is important to writing some sort of history, just make it seem realistic. Since Inhinx was the first settlement, and two other cities rose up while it went down, I would not assume anywhere less than 20 years from the discovery of Zatao for pioneers to explore the island, for people to hear about the island, for large cities to be built, and for people to want to come here. Probably even more years for people to even consider moving here because people don't really want change unless they are really unhappy with what they have/have no other choice.
so a realistic timeline would be?: y01: Zato discovered. Exploration begins. y07: Inhinx established. y10: Valuable ore discovered at Inhinx. y15: Inhix becomes a profitable mining town and grows into a city. y15: Finn's parents(geologists) move form Oreburg to Inhinx to work in the mine. y16: Finn is born y20: Southern towns established. y21: Unrest in Inhinx begins. y24: Finn's parents decide to send him to "Grandpa's" cabin due to the growing violence of the mining pokemon. Finn is 8 y26: Inhinx falls. y27: Inhinx's fall is discovered by the southern cities. y28: Finn travels to Inhinx and finds it a ghost town. Finn is 12. y30: Swarm at Moterossa triggers it's development from a frontier town into a city. [/spioler]

Instead, the delicate, lanky build of the fighing/steel types wasn't well suited to cold, snowy environments, and even though the pups were all clever, willing workers, and one female in particular seemed to have potential as a lead dog, he decided it was a mistake he wouldn't repeat, and traded all but Cloudrunner away. The near-white riolu had quickly become attached to the Breeder/Researcher's assistant and unofficial grandson, Cael, following him everywhere and later protecting him on his frequent unsupervised explorations of the area. History: Born when her parents were still separated by the boundaries of the wild and tame, this Pokemon grew up on the road, uncivilized and carefree, but she quickly needed training as her strength grew. She's begun to shape up to be a good battler.
