"He would make a lovely corpse."META UPDATE Week 2 March 22nd, 1411 - March 29th, 1411 Week 1
(Please update your previous posts with RPs and solos during that week if you have any extra.) UPDATE 3: "The Start," those who are traveling, week 1 to ? Well! Decided to react to that letter, have you? I see that you're making quick steps towards another destination, but alas, that isn't... good news, per se, though we're very glad you're trying. Imperial Guard officials are going to stop you at every border you go. They will check not only your belongings but they will check for two very specific things-- if you have the Black Death or if you own a Plague. If you do have a Plague, Guards will most likely try to take you into custody, which in more earnest terms means prison while they try to figure out what to do with you. They can't let a Cultist snuff right under their wing, right? So, what do you do to avoid guard suspicion if you do own a Plague? UPDATE 1: "A Lovely Corpse," Plagues (St 2 and above), week 2 What isn't particularly good for you Plaguefolk, Excitos included, is that while your Grimms are being stalked, you're being openly confronted. If you're already within the House of Obscuvos, you will be regaled with gifts and lavish decor for yourself, courtesy of the Holy Wife, and please, don't mind them if you overhear a fellow Obscuvan threatening your Grimm to do better-- we only want them to be a Remnant truly worth of the new world. If you're not within the House of Obscuvos well, it's always better to convert later than never. The House of Obscuvos will attempt to take you, back to the consorts of the House chapels. If you don't comply, you will be taken by force. Do you fight back at all, and if you do, do you succeed or fail?
UPDATE 2: "Obtain," The House of Obscuvos vs. The Council of Sciences, week 2 Unfortunately for Council and House members alike, there is a high chance that you will intermingle with one another in the next few days. This is not fate or chance, just a clash in duties, as you will. Both factions have been adamant in trying to get their own brand of potion, the Furvus Elixir, a black and glowing liquid that has the ability to instantly kill people in a painful way or, in contrast, heal a Plague's mental and physical ailments. Not only are these elixirs sparse, they come in small quantities, and you need at least one full bottle of it. They are only available in black markets sprawled around port cities and in certain trade areas, but they're all quite shady and rely on your skill for words and convincing. Get a copy and report to the nearest faction hub to you so it can be delivered to Dr. Adlam or Dr. Kirkaldy.
UPDATE 3: "Opposable Fingers," Mishkan, Shyregoed, Auvinus, and Helios, week 2 Well, this is certainly no good, and it's not even the cultists' fault this time. There's been a kind of mass hysteria that's been hitting every other province outside of Imisus, where riots are still happening, seemingly an aftereffect (like it needs one) to the giant fiasco with the riots in the east. The remaining crew of the Panymese Press seems to have picked their place back up from Imisus and have been ravaging every province they can with propaganda and newspapers detailing scandalous and probably faulty news against the Council of Sciences and especially against the Fellowship of Mages and, worst of all, pitting everyone else in a survival of the fittest. The main thing that has been hitting up rumors on the street in one form or another is that it's solely Emperor Rine VIII's doing that the Black Death is deterring Panymium at such a quick rate, and that the Black Death is predicted to wipe out everyone by the end of the season. They are starting fights, they are committing suicide and, most of all, they are against you in every way. Not only that, but the Council supposedly predicted that the Plagues are a direct effect to quickening the disease's potency. Avoiding conflict with angry townsmen, even for nobles, is near impossible. So, please, do detail us in about your particular woes with these folk.
UPDATE 4: "Routine," The Imperial Guard, week 2 The Imperial Guard has gotten word from a rather reliable source that the appearance of crows have been disrupting the usual activity of towns, as they have been ravaging what they have of Panymium's already sparse crops, and have made cities smell even more like corpse than they did already. They have also heard word that these crows have been particularly populous around where Grimms are and, due to this, the Imperial Guard will check on you at some point in time during this week to see if you're doing okay, if you need any assistance, and probably urge you to try and get you to let them take your Plague so they can deport them to Imisus, where they'll be safe with the Council. How do you react to all of this?
UPDATE 5: "Tricks," Capital cities, port cities, outskirts around Helios, week 2 There's a chance that Update 4 for you is bad news. Roll a 6-sided die to see if the Imperial Guard that checked on you was a Cultist or a Plague thief-- 1 and 2 means it was an actual Imperial Guard, 3 and 4 means it was a Cultist, and 5 and 6 mean it was a Plague thief. For an Imperial guard, continue with Update 4 as follows. For a Cultist, they will kidnap to you Auvinus at any means possible and, for a Plague thief, they will kidnap your Plague at any costs, despite what stage it's in.
NOTICE: Please post your Meta posts into its thread by TOMORROW, or update if you have any new RPs and solos. Week 1 and 2's wrap up will be posted sometime around night and will contain updates for all factions, classes, and areas. Thank you!

Apologies if any of the wording is confusing so, if it is, just tell us and we will try to edit the answer to make it clearer.
What am I supposed to post in the meta thread? It's just a post of all of your meta RPs and solos so the staff can record them at a MUCH quicker pace. Before the wrap-up, which is today, you just have to post ONE POST that you can edit in with your entries that pertain to the IC prompt updates before the wrap up. For example, before this wrap-up posted for Weeks 1 and 2, the post you made can just be updated with Week 1 and 2 stuff. Snoof's post is a VERY good example of this.
Am I allowed to still do the prompts/challenges from those previous 2 week updates? Yes, but I highly suggest that you don't and wrap up what you already have. You can go back to previous week updates and answer their prompts but the date of your solo/RP MUST BE WITHIN THAT WEEK. If you decide that you want to reply to more updates from previous weeks, though, don't go back and edit your previous posts if you do that after those weeks' wrap-up. It's too late and too inconvenient for the staff once the wrap up is posted so, instead of doing that, just make your new post and post up those new RPs/solos there. (For example, if I'm posting in the meta thread for Week 3 and 4, but wanted to make a new solo for Week 1 and the wrap up is already up, I would that Week 1 solo into the post for Week 3 and 4 so the staff can record it easily for the next wrap up.)
Am I supposed to finish two RPs/solos by the end of the update posts or by the end of the wrap up post? You only have to finish 2 RPs/solos by the end of the wrap up post.
I have some stuff that I have to take care of outside of Gaia and I'll be occupied in following weeks. What should I do? PM Zanaroo so she knows about your status. Being busy IRL means that you are doing something that will keep you away from the computer for prolonged periods of time, like field trips and vacations. Things like schoolwork and regular jobs are understandably busy but you still have access to a computer and probably have enough time to at least put up 2 reserves within a week!
Can I join starting Week 3? Yes, you can, but you won't be able to join up after the second wrap-up update.
What if I didn't get 2 in for weeks 1 and 2? This wrap-up is the only time I'll allow you guys to have missed posting the 2 required solos and RPs. From week 3 and onward I'll be keeping a heavy-duty check on people to see if they meet the requirements on time, even if it's just reserved posts.
Any other questions? Please PM them to the mule directly so we can easily respond to your inquiry as well as add to the questions post after each wrap up. Thank you!

"Years ago, birds of a feather would arrive nightly."META UPDATE Week 3 March 29th, 1411 - April 5th, 1411(Please post again for week 3 and 4, since the wrap-up has already been posted!) UPDATE 3: "The Start," those who are traveling, week 1 to 3 Well! UPDATE 1: "Hesitate," Grimms, week 3 Those crows and letters have suddenly begun to drop like flies from the sky, leaving nothing but crow corpses. On the flip-side, there's no more parchment whatsoever that's being delivered to you. What's strange, though, is that when you try to pick up any of those crows that are laying dead in thousands of masses across the street, they're extremely heavy-- heavier than a horse, you reckon, and you have no idea why. When you do, though, it stings your hand, and even if they've only recently died, they smell a hell of a lot like months-old corpse. If you even try to touch any of these crows, you're going to feel heavily incapacitated for the next couple of days-- the more crows you're around the more sick you'll be. It'll look like you have the Black Death, in fact, each and every one of you, with black-tipped fingers and swollen buboes around your body but completely hidden from sight. How do you feel, now that you know what true sickness is? This effect will only last for a few days, maybe just a day for you, three or four at most, but that's all it takes it kill a regular person, anyway. Do you trust your instincts and rumors that your Plague will protect you from the Black Death and move on, or are you starting to have your doubts?
UPDATE 2: "Fleeting," Plagues (St 2 and up), week 3 If you've managed to fight of the Obscuvans, and good job, it looks like many of you have-- they're not going to try again any time soon, it doesn't seem like, and the ribbon dropping has ceased as well as the stalkings from your Grimm. What's bad is that if you've come in contact with any of these cultist folk, if you were engaged in battle especially, you're going to feel a little bit strange-- bated, even. Not only are you going to lose many of your Plague characteristics if you fought with a cultist, you're going to look completely like a human and act like one, too. What does that feel like for you? ((OOC: This means that ALL Plagues who fought against Obscuvans / were stalked/acted upon them that weren't cultist Plagues were effected, even Excitos. Excitos will have a random human form and I highly recommend that they have no resemblance of what you might think their Anhelo form looks like, please! And, yes, they will all look like regular sized humans.)) Congratulations-- someone has found a miasmic form of the Furvus Elixir, and it's working at its full intensity. To those Plagues who were lavished with gifts, the Holy Wife has seemed to have given you something as well-- a heightened sense of power. Not only do you feel light as a feather, you feel a need to do something. Act for Obscuvos. In your height of power, what do you do to please the Holy Wife and Obscuvos, with your birth-given magic? ((OOC: This does not give Excitos the ability to heal or spread, it just gives them an intense sense of power and the ability to use their potential magics at an extremely large scale.))
UPDATE 3: "Cunning Foxes," House of Obscuvos vs. Fellowship of Mages, week 3 Dr. Adlam's fiddled around with the Furvus Elixir some and he's come to a potential diposable and transportable threat for the Fellowship of Mages, something that has an innate ability to decapitate several mages at once. Thanks to some of the inner workings of the Fellowship of Mages and its lateral corruption, fully blooming with Lady Waldgrave's death, several of the cultists have managed to invade fortresses to try and sneak in this new poison to Fellowship fortresses. This is not only an immediate threat, but this poison will instantly burn and kill you. Obscuvans be weary when entering a Fellowship Base, and confer at the Annex if you so desire. Fellowship, you must decide between one of two things-- use your wits and snuff out these Obscuvan spies or relocate yourself to one of the bigger Fellowship bases, the Northern Base or the Anican castles.
UPDATE 4: "Only You Know," Council of Sciences vs. Commonwealth, week 3 The Council of Sciences happens to be more dastardly than you might initially think. Not only are they controversially going against traditional medical practices, defying the will of God by splitting open both open and dead human bodies alike, the Panymese Press and its revolutionary announcers are openly decreeing that they're hiding secrets. Secrets about the Black Death and the Plague that no one else knows, in fact, secrets that might aid them against curing the Black Death. Regular commonwealth has every right to be angry at you, and they will attack you at the slightest notion that you even look like a scientist. So, doctor, lady or gentleman, what happens and what do you do to try and ease their suspicions? To commonwealth of any class, you've probably been given out a pamphlet of the Panymese Press and, if you can't read, you've heard people blaring at you about the scandalous nature of the Council of Sciences. Are you angry at the news, and how do you handle it?
UPDATE 5: "Receive Silence," Shyregoed-Imisus border, week 3
Many people are desperate for peace, and not even the church can deliver at this point. Panymium's main religion or, at least, what's left of it, is taking its daily rounds across the continent and are receiving donations and prayers in return for their services. Many people are confessing their sins before their eventual death, and many are giving their duties and possessions away to the holy church, many completely lost of potential heirs. One specific instance of this has been a giant ceremony near the border of Imisus and Shyregoed, near one of the port cities. People are holding prayers in days-long prayer and are making their route through Shyregoed, robed in a stark red with a cloak that hides their face. A hymnal is to their back and they are going around each and every city looking for more and more followers, confessors, and donators, and are marking their trail across the border at an oddly quick pace. Do you confess, donate, or react at all to this?
