It looked somewhat familiar, perhaps she had seen it out of a textbook or something like that? After all, she had definitely never been here before and while it had a certain pleasant air to it, she still preferred her living quarters back home in Soul Society. Sighing deeply, she shifted her hold on Eriko and Sora, remembering the fact that there was no exact certainty that they would return to there anyway, since they had been forced to make a so-called ‘tactical’ retreat. There were quite a number of people present from what she could see on the rooftop, and although it seemed like she was one of the later ones, there were still quite a number to come. Unsure of what she should be doing, she spotted Tadashi, moving over to him. He was the only really familiar face here, except for her sister, who was busy doing other things. Gently stretching Sora and Eriko out, she smiled faintly at Tadashi, although not saying a word for the meantime.

Jūbantai-Taichō It could not be helped. At least, that was of what she was trying to convince herself as she stirred. Eriko could feel herself being placed down to rest, her dress and weapons still on her person. When she was fully on the ground, the young Captain shot up, her forehead colliding nearly with Suzume's chin as she tried to right her senses. Her grey eyes searched over the area, taking in the grouping of Shinigami. It would appear that they were in the World of the Living as was confirmed by the appearance of her limiter and Division's symbol - the daffodil - on the back of her right hand. The limiter, the obvious casualities, their unscheduled presence in the Human World. The saltiness of coming tears stung at the corners of her eyes. She did not fight it. It was something to be sad about and definitely disappointed that after such a battle, all she had to show for her contribution was a red bump on her forehead and it had not even been made by the enemy.
Turning around, Eriko smiled gratefully at her successor, "Thank you for bringing me here, Suzume but I think that I can handle it from here." With the light smile plastered onto her face still, she touched the floor and pushed herself into a standing position, wobbling a bit before getting her feet under her and heading in a random direction. It could not be helped. "Get out of my head, Cho. We both know that that is not true. It could have been helped. I could have dodged that stray shard of steel and be of some actual help!" She stopped walking here, chest heaving and eyes darting around to see who had heard since she had been speaking actually quite loudly in response to the mental voice. Now, her words reverted to her mind, I just feel like I contributed to this because I was so far away as well as knocked out. This is not a matter of being stronger, just more alert for their sake. When no word came from the spirit, Eriko shrugged and resumed her idle path that landed her by Elisia and three unfamiliar faces, one severely injured. Upon reaching them, she stooped down by Elisia's side and ran her eyes over the wounded stranger. "Do you know who he is?", she asked in a hushed tone. She wanted to ask about the battle but it could wait. Besides, the losses on their side told most of the story. Eventually, her legs slipped under to make her sit cross-legged amongst the minute crowd. "Also, I apologize that this had to happen on today of all days for Tsukiko and you. It wasn't right." At the mention of the couple, her mind passed over the subject of Lee but that, too, was put to rest as she only wanted to concentrate on what she could see, feel, hear, taste, smell and hopefully, help. xxx "Fear - it's a b***h."

 Tadashi Sakamoto
9th Division Lieutenant Tadashi looked up at Suzume in between his intervals of checking to see if there were any changes at all in Hei's condition. After everything was said and done, he never did get to learn Chiyudo like he asked Elisia a long time ago. At times like this, it made him feel even more useless.
"Suzume...glad to see you're okay," murmured Tadashi with a forced smile. The exhaustion was quickly wearing on his adrenaline-pumped body. He looked back to Hei and kept himself from showing any signs of his tired state. No changes to the 12th Division Captain, but Sakamoto suspected that the super Vizard wouldn't be down for long. Turning back to Suzume, he just then noticed her smile was as hollow as his.
"I realize this is a foolish question, but is something wrong?" he asked. Tadashi knew that that had come out badly since obviously a lot of things were wrong, but whatever was bothering her seemed more personal as opposed to just Tadashi's own depression from the defeat. At least he had no one close to him that he worried about dying on the battlefield (except perhaps Hibiki, but it was more of a business-related friendship). Suzume, on the other hand, probably did (besides her sister, of course). Elisia had just mentioned a certain Lieutenant's death, after all...

1045 xxxxxxxxClimb the mountains and get their good tidings. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxNature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. Hakase Yuki 博士雪 Ichibantai Taichō
As Yuki slipped out of the Senkaimon atop the roof of Hibiki's apartment in the Human World, she quickly did a sweep of the area to locate everyone, taking note that Hei, Hibiki and several others were on the rooftop of all places, which was just not going to cut it for Yuki. She was in a less-than thrilled mood at this point and she was going to sit in a chair at all costs; she would let everyone else hang from the ceiling if she could sit down in a comfortable chair. Captain Commander or not, she was still relatively spoiled and sitting around on a grungy rooftop was not in her list of things that she enjoyed or could tolerate. What would likely come as a surprise to most people was that Yuki did not go directly to Hei, but instead stepped away from the Senkaimon while supporting her stomach with her hand, and then slipped into the floor and landed gently on the floor below it where she knew Lee was located. After surveying the room she was now in, she quickly determined that she would not be raising her child, even for a few months, in such conditions. Not only that, but she wasn't thrilled to be staying here herself; by her standards, the apartment was unacceptable. Surely Hibiki could have afforded a better place than this on a Captain's salary attached onto whatever wages he raked in from his human world jobs.
By this time, Yuki keeping her delicate hand over her stomach had become a habit and it was no longer a simple reflex placement of her hand due to the shocking revelation of her pregnancy. At this point, she was now keeping her hand there so that she may constantly and flawlessly monitor her body's vitals and body functions down to the cell so that if she detected an irregularity in her body, she may fix it immediately. She wanted her baby to be perfectly healthy, and she wasn't going to let anything get in the way of that. Stepping forward to where Lee had been laid down by Nu, Yuki released all the Reiatsu she could manage with her limiter on and adjusted it from the immediate sleep-inducing effect to a comfort-inducing one that would allow her to ease the weariness that was radiating from every muscle in his body. This effect would subsequently extend to anyone in the surrounding few blocks that had the capacity to feel Reiatsu. Once she had reached him, she extended her free hand and gingerly placed the fingertips of her index and middle fingers onto his forehead, barely enough to be felt, and then began to use her healing powers to restore his Reiryoku completely by using a sizable portion of her own. "When my daughter returns with Ciel-kun, please be quick to use Hachigyō Sōgai over this entire apartment complex and the lot attached to it." Giving him a passing glance, Yuki gracefully slid away from his bedside and then made her way to the staircase leading back to the roof.
After taking her sweet time to get to the roof, Yuki finally reached it and emerged from the door and her bare feet hit the concrete. Now that their protection and hideout was dealt with, she could focus on her idiotic sleeping brother who would soon be woken in a way he would not enjoy. Looming over her unconcsious twin brother, Yuki carefully bent over, wrapped her slender fingers round his left ankle and hoisted him into the air so that his head was not touching the ground even while upright, and so that there was a gap of about a foot between his head and the roof. "Guess what, sleepy? I'm pregnant and we had to retreat. Wanna know what else, dear brother of mine? It's all your fault. Now wake up, stupid, and take responsibility." Her words did not come out laced with anger or any sort of negative tone, on the contrary they were calm to the point of being absolutely terrifying when applied to the situation and the things she was saying. Without skipping a beat, Yuki brought her arm down and back, causing Hei's upper body to rise as his lower body was pulled behind Yuki. After whipping him back, she quite literally effortlessly swung her arm forward and flung Hei into the yard below. At this point, she did not need to worry about anyone trying to stop her or catch Hei before he hit the ground. Those who cared about Hei would know well enough to not interfere with matters that involved the two of them, and anyone else was probably wetting themselves that Hei was being mistreated. Even though she obviously had not done it for his sake, it was not like she had no idea of Hibiki's disdain for her baby brother, but she couldn't do anything about it if Hei wouldn't change, so she just ignored it.
Pressing her right foot to the edge of the roof, she took a deep breath and began barking orders. Her tone shifted from calm to demanding as she wanted what she wanted right away, and not a second later. Now that she had begun to cope with the loss of Nanashi. Ciel, and Kyo, along with her pregnancy, she was able to come to terms with her feelings and assume her role as their leader. "What are you all standing around in different places for? We retreated, yes, but not to a day spa. What kind of military am I running here?! Everyone get up here and someone bring me a goddamn chair." With an aggravated sigh, she redirected her attention to the open Senkaimon which she moved towards at a reserved pace. Once she had reached it, she stuck her free hand near it and softly snapped her fingers, causing the door to slam shut and disperse into the air like a cloud of dust. This one act had taken all of twenty seconds, but she well expected to see each of them standing at attention by the time she turned around. If not all of them, then at least the ones that weren't unconcsious or bringing her a chair. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, xxxxxxxx And the storms their energy, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.xxxxxxxxxx

Yokozuki Nekkyo
------Sanbantai Taichou It's a good thing he didn't pull the secret string
-----Which reveals a secret compartment Containing one
----------Embarrassing picture of sponge bob at the Christmas party.→---- The Senkaimon revealed itself, appearing from the shining gate was the Sanbantai Taichou, Yokozuki Nekkyo, his recent fake alias, Czar, was abandoned, a Gigai type construct that allowed him to change in appearance, Yokozuki had a twisted sense of humor, but now was no longer the time for games. He stood atop the apartments roof for a time, looking around at the world of the living, the recent invasion had forced all of Seireitei to this grim place, he hated the world of the living, though he brushed it off. He looked around the area, he was trying to feel out others presence, he could feel them, but didn't pursue anyone, he wasn't interested in interacting with them. He gently floated down onto the ground, he searched out Hibiki's apartment, he knew that was where everyone was meeting, though his advance was made slow, he was in no extreme rush. Yokozuki was watching a few passerby's, eventually making his way to the right apartment. He glared at the apartment, he scratched his head gently, rubbing his neck, he entered the apartment from the downstairs, the place was a bit dusty, he smiled, it reminded him of his own office, never clean. He eventually came to Hibiki's apartment door, this was where everyone was right? He entered the home. [Trying to get back into the rp, not very easy DX, even more so with a new character]─── ─── ───

▀ ▄ ▀ ▄ ▀ ▄ ▀ ▄ ▀ ▄ ▀ ▄ ▀ ▄ ▀ ▄ [[563]] Passing throughout the hallways, her flustered mind immediately felt calmer as a feeling of relaxation took over her body. Turning her heead, she could only assume Yuki was here, her reiatsu had the effect to calm most people. As she was climbing the stairs to the rooftop, her head was peaking the top, when she saw Yuki pass her, apparently she was healing Lee. With no word she approaches the unconscious form of Hei, makes a comment on recent events, and surprisingly, of her pregnancy, and proceeds to drop Hei off from the rooftop. Though she has no doubt Hei will live, it still looked......amusing, before Yuki took on the more leader like persona, issuing orders. Looking around and finding no chair for her superior, she makes it a habit to lean against something, this time being the railing. Her clothes were nearly unrecognizable from earlier today, and she doubts she could go back any time anymore for things more suited for her. Her ragged left shoulder sleeve blew carelessly in the wind, no support to stop its annoying flapping, but for some odd reason Nu didn't mind so much. Her right hand was at her lips, her eyes a bit glazed. She tried her hardest to look attentive, but that was soon proving itself impossible.

598 xxxxxxxxthe Sun locks the Heavens xxxxxxxxthe Moon eclipses the Night 博士月子 Jūnibantai Fukutaichō The feeling of her mother entering the Human World was unmistakable. Even with the 1st Division's symbol, the Chrysanthemum, that layered itself just above Yuki's breasts and at the very top of her sternum, her Reiatsu was still indistinguishable from others. Tsukiko was currently three to four blocks away from Hibiki's apartment when she felt Yuki step out, and had gotten only a little closer when she noticed that Lee's Reiryoku levels were rising in inverse proportion to Yuki's own Reiryoku levels. Given the current situation of retreat, Tsukiko quickly arrived at the conclusion that Yuki had only restored Lee's Reiryoku for the purpose of the Kidō Master using Hachigyō Sōgai to erase the apartment and adjoining lot from the consciousnesses of anyone not inside. With that knowledge in mind, Tsukiko quickly jumped into the air to avoid damaging the sidewalk when she executed Shukuchi Mukyō in the next few seconds. Combining the long range Shukuchi with Kokū Shukuchi, Tsukiko kicked off thin air and propelled herself towards the roof of the apartment, leaving behind a small shock wave at her point of jump, and another shock wave in the middle of her jump that let out in a concentric circle around her traveled path. Tsukiko had calculated the jump with flawless precision, though that much was to be expected from a machine, and promptly appeared to the naked eye once more about five feet above the roof.
With her forward momentum lost at the pinnacle of her jump, Tsukiko landed softly on the roof a half-foot to the right of the one-armed Nu. As her knee-length, crimson-colored hair rested up against her back, Tsukiko held up a hand and quickly affirmed her identity by slipping her left hand out of the long, black sleeve of the cloak she was wearing and turning the back of her hand to face everyone, then made a little sweeping motion so that everyone may catch a glimpse of her Division's symbol on it. In order to hide her appearance, Tsukiko was shrouded in a black cloak that covered her entire body, and had wrapped her entire head in medical bandages, causing the eerie appearance of two dim red lights shining from the pitch black abyss in the cloak's hood. "Sorry I'm late. I actually got here first, but I left to get bandages and on my way there... I found, well... I'll let you see for yourself." Turning away, she hefted Ciel off her shoulder and turned him over, baring his smiling face for all to see. Moving towards the edge of the roof, Tsukiko gently set Ciel down and lay him out on the roof, arranging his body in a proper position before turning back to the others. "He died because of his wounds... But he died a hero and passed on happily. I felt it my duty to inform the rest of you of this..." Tsukiko decided against mentioning that she almost cremated him on the spot, feeling that it was pointless to even bring up. From inside her cloak, she produced a large amount of packaged medical bandages and presented them to the others before setting them on the roof and closing her cloak once more. "I uh, had a feeling we might need these, so I used my rings to make them spiritual. Unfortunately I don't have any money, so I had to steal them along with this cloak. Hibiki-taichō, if I told you where I got everything, could you manage to get this country's currency and pay the stores back? You'll be reimbursed, of course..." ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪

|692| Masashi, Lee, Gobantai Taichō"Telling me to go. But hands beg me to stay. Your lips say that you love. Your eyes say that you hate. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. What you build you lay to waste. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take. So I, I won't be the one. Be the one to leave this. In pieces. And you, you will be alone. Alone with all your secrets. And regrets, don't lie. You promised me the sky. Then tossed me like a stone. You wrap me in your arms. And chill me to the bone. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take." Lee continued to lay there looking up at the dark ceiling and contemplating exactly how he had messed up. Then Nu entered his thoughts followed by Eriko and it began alternating like that confusing him even more than before and causing him to let out a small sigh. What had happened when he went out? Had there been many deaths? What happened to Yuki? Last he seen she was faring rather well against Ori so how had things changed so much? Was Eriko even alive? He hadn't seen even a glimpse or her since things began. Why had Nu chosen now to kiss him? Why hadn't she revealed her feelings before he was in an unspoken relationship with Eriko? Feeling frustrated again Lee held his hand up towards the ceiling examining it and flexing and relaxing his fingers. His eyes were heavy from having very little reiryoku left which meant he needed to rest and get things over with. Maybe he would wake up in a normal world instead of this nightmare. Closing his eyes and concentrating on sleep he found it did not want to come.
Then another familiar presence approached the room and after a moment or two Yuki stepped inside looking completely fine. Opening his eyes Lee gave her a slightly confused look sitting up and feeling the comforting reiatsu wash away his fatigue leaving him feeling refreshed. "Thanks..." Then she stepped forward and with a touch to his forehead began restoring his reiryoku levels using some of her own to do so. After she was through he felt refreshed and ready for another round at the Sephira yet he knew that wouldn't be coming. They had retreated for a reason. Hearing her speak about hiding the lot Lee gave her a nod as she left the room for the roof where he could now feel others. Looking around the room Lee let out a sigh wishing for his clothes to be complete once more. The top part of his suit had been demolished in the battle with Arian and the bottom was looking pretty ragged and burned. Still it covered the necessary parts.
Bending down and picking up Nami he tied her to his left side and rubbed his neck for a moment hearing Yuki from the roof just barely catching the last bit about bringing her a chair. Well he was the one in the house. Walking down the stairs at a leisurely pace he grabbed a chair from the kitchen proceeded to bring it to the roof. Setting the chair down beside Yuki Lee looked around the landscape for a moment of the foreign world. Leaving the chair and walking to the edge of the roof Lee heard Tsukiko arrive with a dead Ciel and let out a sigh. Focusing on the area indicated by Yuki he closed his eyes and focused on it completely before his lips parted. "Hachigyō Sōgai." The very space around the apartment distorted for a moment or two before returning to normal. The only sign of the barrier that would now keep all away from the apartment.
Opening his eyes again he let them fall to the ground. So they were going to be in the living world that long? Turning around his eyes found Nu rather quickly still missing and arm and gazing at her for a few moments. Then his eyes found the ground again and he posed a question to everyone present. "How many did we lose? What exactly happened? When I was conscious we didn't seem to be in any danger of losing badly enough to retreat yet here we are. I figured there would be losses on both sides and the battle would be suspended as we collected our forces to battle again." How much had he missed? Letting out a frustrated sigh Lee pinched the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes. Had all the training really been for nothing? Where was Hei? Looking around he didn't see him on the roof yet his presence wasn't gone completely. "Where do we go from here?" Looking at Yuki he waited for an answer in silence from their leader.
"Sacrifice through Danger and Pure Love. That is what the Lily of the Valley symbolizes."

__[636]__⌠ H i d e k i < ⌂ 朱 出 来 […] 得 血 ろ ⌂ > U c h i r o ⌡ ▬▬▐ J ŭsanB a ntai Taichō Feeling:T h e S a d R e t r e a t "Truth is simply a conception..." Hideki was staring up at the sky, the pain in his chest wrenching with every pulse of his heart. He noticed Elisia-taichō come over to his body. A bloody smile came over Hideki's face before he began to chuckle, of which was stopped abruptly when the blood began to make him cough. Hideki's eyebrows furrowed as he heard what Elisia spoke, a Chiyudō he had never read about. It was interesting but he felt the effects immediately, though the sealing of his chest caused him to hack up another lungful of air and the remaining blood that was trapped in his air way. Once Elisia was done, Hideki pulled himself up so that he was sitting up, his legs out stretched and his body supported by his left arm that was behind him. He nodded as she spoke before stretching his right hand towards her, his index and middle digits together, before pushing them into her forehead, though they would fall through due to him being in his Gigai. "Haha, Elisia-Taichō, Erikō-Taichō. I am Hideki. This is my gigai form. I altered it from my own. Its a prototype portable gigai I made a few months ago. Thought this was an ample time to try it out. The only flaw in my logic was the fact that the wound would transfer. Something I hypothesized but did not believe would happen. Gomen. I know you must be tired from all the healing you've done. Here..."
Hideki pulled his hand away and rummaged through his pocket and pulled a small bottle of small 1 millimeter white pills. "I call them booster pills. I refrain from using them in battle, but they speed the regeneration of your natural Reiryoku." Hideki placed the bottle into her hand as best he could before simply leaving it on the ground before he stood up. He motioned to the roof and began to move for it before he felt Yuki enter the area from the Senkaimon. He did not stop moving when he felt this, instead Hideki continued walking to meet Yuki. He was halfway up the stairs when he noticed that Yuki was not on the roof any longer, instead she walked passed him on the stairs stood amongst the others and spoke. Hideki stood in wait before his right eye's eyebrow quirked up. She was pregnant. This was not so outlandish that it was not somewhat expected, but for it to be now was surprising.
At that moment Tsukiko appeared, seemingly from no where, hidden under a black cloak. He figured it was her, as he knew her body type under a cloak of that sort from her Shikai, and had almost memorized that very fact, so when she spun around for all to see her symbol, he was hardly surprised and kept quiet. Hideki found it even peculiar that he had barely noticed Yuki throw Hei, it only registering now for some odd reason. His mind must still be recovering from the strain it had from blood loss. In any case he heard Lee's ending statement and lifted his hands to the air, the metal on his arms making a soft clinking sound as he did so. "We train. We move forward. We reclaim what was ours and destroy the pompous a** that took it. It may be our duty to save ourselves and the Humans from him taking over anything, but, for me in any case, it is our pride, my pride, that will guarantee that we will get our world back again. I'll do anything to obtain that." Hideki's face was straight and his voice powerful yet calm. He held no emotion other than determination in his eyes and he held his gaze out on the horizon as he spoke, stepping up the last of the steps and joining the group. He sounded gallant, but this was simply how he felt. This was no act, but a confiding feeling of his.

Everybody had problems and she doubted that her problems were the worst out of them all, especially given the deaths and the issues that had cropped up. After all, she hadn’t know Nanashi for very long and the first time that she had met him, she had managed to insult him accidentally and hit his sore spot. Perhaps it was best that she was separate from him after all and not bothering him. He was most likely dead now from the black hole, or simply gone forever from her point of view. Turning her head to face Tadashi, she quietly said, “I’ll be fine, I guess. Just an old friend was…lost in the battle, but I’m sure that he’ll be fine wherever he is now. I can’t worry about these things now, we gotta look towards the future and what happens there.” In a way, her words were directed at herself as well as Tadashi, although she was saying it aloud to him only. Diverting her gaze away from him, she checked the two unconscious people that she was looking after.
Sora was still out cold, it seemed, but funnily enough, Eriko had woken up. Smiling hollowly at the girl Captain, she recalled the present that Nu had given Elisia through Suzume herself. Uh-oh. She had forgotten to pass that on to her sister in the battle that had followed and amidst the general chaos and disorder, it had slipped her mind until now. Standing up, she was about to go and do that, when their Captain Commander suddenly appeared and started barking out orders. Scared by the woman and yet wondering what the matter was since she had never seen the Captain Commander behave this way, she shunpo’ed through the door leading away from the rooftop, hurriedly finding the Captain Commander a chair. Soon enough, she located a wooden chair, before grabbing a cushion to make it a little more comfortable. Returning as quickly as she possibly could, she appeared next to the Captain Commander before placing the chair down, with the cushion on top and shunpo’ing back to Tadashi as she arranged herself for whatever might happen next.

⋆⋆⋆∥ HAKASE xELISIA ☇【 yonbantaixTAICHO 】 Elisia blinked several times at a person that she was not acquainted with at all. Perhaps she might have seen him before? Perhaps not. Her memory wasn’t working very well at the moment and she was currently more worried about the other unknown person as this particular one, the one she had just healed, was actually tangible and thus, must likely human. As Akane asked about the Third Division Captain, a confused look appeared on her face. To tell the truth, she hadn’t been keeping much of a track of the Captains and where everybody had been, and the only link had been the telepathic Kido between them. That was gone now and she didn’t really want to waste any more of her energy on a tracking spell or anything as such as her powers were already drained from healing with her limiter on. It looked as if some training was in order. “I apologize, but I don’t know where the Third Division Captain is, he seems to have sort of disappeared, I d--” her voice abruptly stopped by the appearance of yet another unknown person, but a Shinigami as well. Seeing that Akane apparently knew Suzume, she relaxed, before nodding and faintly smiling at Suzume. “Well, thank you very much for your congratulations. As I said, I’m not sure where he is. He’s most likely around though. Perhaps he might have gone to Hibiki’s actual apartment instead of the rooftop? I’m not sure.” she continued, finishing off what she had been meaning to say.
Noticing that Eriko had appeared next to her, she smiled at her friend. She hadn’t seen Eriko for the entire battle but she had not had any time to look for the girl, so it came as a huge relief that her friend was alright. “I’m not actually very sure of who he is, Eriko and don’t worry about our wedding. Sometimes things like these happen, especially with what we do,” she shrugged her shoulders as she finished speaking, attempting to conceal any sign of the trauma and irritation that she had been feeling before. If she kept on sulking about her wedding day, nothing would get accomplished and she would have to simply accept it and move on. After all, they had gotten married and passed the wedding ceremony – it was only their reception that had gotten damaged. More of the pain would be on Hei, who had contributed so much money to their wedding. So many problems kept on cropping up, and it seemed to be a different and new one each time. Remembering the present issue that she was having with this unknown person she had healed, she turned her attention back to him, watching him with a mixture of curiosity and confusion.
To her utter surprise, he tried a gesture that, while ineffective since he was in a Gigai, only one person had ever done to her – Hideki. Tilting her head to one side, her mind attempted to keep up as he explained. When she had grasped what had happened, a small pout appeared on her face as she realized the fact that she had been utterly stupid when she had acted so scary and demanded his identity. Hiding her embarrassed face, she accepted the pills from him, telling him, “Thank you very much for the pills and well…yeah…” While she didn’t usually take medicine that she hadn’t tested before, she gingerly swallowed one anyway, since she did need some sort of power boost at the moment. She almost choked on that one, as she noticed Yuki’s appearance and then the woman’s subsequent treatment of Hei. Wincing as Hei was tossed to the ground, she was about to go and rescue him, before realizing the mood that Yuki was in. Ah, yeah, that wouldn’t be the best idea for the moment. Slowly clambering to her feet and fixing herself, she caught sight of both Nu and a black-cloaked person, whom she was guessing was her wife. Despite wanting to go to Tsukiko’s side, she restrained herself, instead gazing at Hideki as he responded to Lee’s question. A thoughtful look appeared on her face as she contemplated what their next move would be. To say the very least, as the medical healer, she doubted that they had everything that they needed, since they had not been able to take their equipment with them and they were running extremely low on essential things such as bandages and surgical tools. Half her division had been wiped out as well, and the losses had been massive. Ciel, the one who had protected her and Yuki from Ori’s attack, was also dead and he was yet another to mourn for. Although she was not a very religious person, she silently sent a prayer out for those they had lost. ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬

Akane Itsuki, Third Seat of Division Three
Riku Ryuu of the Black Mist Mountains
Akane watched Hideki, He is strong-willed. He stands back up and brushes off his shoulder. He bows his head respectively to Elisia, "Thank you for your assistance, Ms. Hakase. It is also a pleasure to have met a Taicho such as yourself." He opens his eyes, and the heron blue color shines, but they look as if he is staring off in to nothing. Akane looks to Suzume and points a thumb to his back. He feels Suzume hop on, "Hang on, Suzu." He supports her by hold her up some. Akane walks towards the apartment and jumps up the fire escape half way, and launches himself on to the rooftop.
Akane lets Suzume off his back and has her follow him. He stops in front of Yuki, and falls to one knee. "My Sōtaichō.. I am sorry I was unable to assist in repelling the attack of those beings. The mission I was given.. me and Suzume were unable to react in time, and would have hindered the fight more than we would have helped. I accept any punishment, and beg that I take place for my assistants punishment. I will then go to my Taichō and recieve what punishment from him he sees as fit."
Akane stood and stared in to the Yuki's eyes. Yuki may be the only one besides Suzume that knew anything about him. His statistics, past, and any other written paperwork would be destroyed by now, or had not even been published to his Taichō until the day he was to arrive at Division Three. Akane focused mainly on Yuki, seemingly oblivious to the others around him. His spiritual pressure was hard to detect. His blade seemed to be very old, and looked nothing like the average zanpaktō. He bore no top on his body, and had a tattered hakama bottom. What may draw one's eye was the kiseru held within the sash around his waist.

2184 ◤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◥ Hakase Hei Jūnibantai Taichō ◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ "...allow me to show you a fate worse than death." Hei was just beginning to rouse himself from his mini-coma when he felt pressure on his left ankle, which at the time did not completely register to him as he was somewhat out of it. Granted, he physically felt completely fine, but his brain was just beginning to kick start as it was pulled away from a period of mostly inactivity. By the time he realized that it was a hand encompassing his ankle, he was already upside down and being hung over the edge of the roof, though he did not realize this yet. Tiny amounts of light filtered into his eyes, which were barely cracked, and he could make out the blurry figure of something just in front of him. His ears picked up words and were able to adjust to them by the time Yuki spoke the word pregnant. This did not register him either, but by the time Yuki had finished speaking to him, he had managed to start piecing things together when he was suddenly thrown off the roof of the apartment complex and into the adjacent lot below. "Pregnant..." By the time he hit the ground, and hit it hard, skidding across the untamed, short green grass of the lawn, Hei's eyes had popped open and all of his senses were on full alert. "WHAT?!" He shouted, just before the top of his head slammed into brick wall that went along the outer edge of the apartment complex's property, clearly defining it's limits and separating it from the neighboring buildings and the sidewalk before it. The impact of his head matched with the natural density of his Reiryoku caused several cracks to appear in the brick, and there would have been more if he had not slid the distance that he had, which made him lose momentum.
His mind was reeling at this point, split apart by the knowledge that his libido had single-handedly impregnated his sister yet again, and also lost them the war. No, that was not the case, not entirely. He reassured himself of that much; he had not caused his colleagues to be so ridiculously weak. From what he gathered from what Yuki had just told him, the others had been losing quite well on their own without them. With a mind like Hei's it was not difficult for Hei to quickly construct what had happened after hearing what Yuki said. She had figured out she was pregnant with an extension of her own power, and then, fearing for the child's life and health, had abandoned physical combat, or combat altogether in an attempt to wake him up. That was Yuki's former self resurfacing, she who used to rely on Hei for everything, and he knew that a surprise pregnancy in the middle of a war would easily bring that out in her. He knew her power better than anyone in the world, and he knew for a fact that if it had been just the Sephira he had witnessed showing up, that she could have taken care of them easily without even moving from her spot, because she was just that far above them. Thus he quickly deduced that someone else must have appeared, someone more powerful than Zenos, which in itself was difficult to imagine, and had joined the fight either before or after Yuki discovered that she was pregnant. She must have felt her long-range power to be inadequate against him in that she felt it prudent to try and awaken him, which he didn't respond to, and this was the reason she blamed him. It couldn't have been the pregnancy that lost them the war, it had to have been that he wasn't able to get up and assist. Whatever this stronger being was, Hei was certain he was just as fragile when pit against the power to render anything useless. This lead him to the understanding that the other Shinigami must have been losing horribly or were terribly outnumbered and were unable to give Yuki a hand, who could have offered support from a distance with her Bankai and they could have won that way.
It was enough to annoy the piss out of him that 10 Captains that he had selflessly assisted in their rise to power, could not even take out the lesser Sephira. He had gone out of his way to help them over the years, as he was not so incredibly arrogant that he didn't understand the limitations to his own powers, and had disguised his acts of selflessness with copious amounts of unwillingness, sarcasm, and insults. He did this on a daily basis because he did not want anyone to think that he could just be approached and asked to do anything, because he could not be and would not be. It was better for everyone to think that he would sooner kidnap and experiment on them, than he would lend a hand. He didn't give out assistance without personal gain, at least not unless Yuki or Tsukiko asked it of him. His mind now back on Yuki, Hei sat up and rubbed the back of his head, taking in his surroundings. The first thought that came to mind was that this place was an absolute dump. He could not live like this, nor would he permit his sister, daughter, and future child to live and be raised in such conditions. He glanced at the single lit window and was dumbstruck by the fact that there was only one light on in the entire house, at least until it dawned on him that this wasn't a house at all. "You have got to be kidding me." At first he had thought it was at the very least an actual house, which surprised him because he didn't think a commoner like Hibiki could afford a house, albeit a shabby one, on a Captain's salary, not when he was expected to maintain his Division, office, newspaper, and subordinate's paychecks from that salary. When it dawned on him that this was not so much a house, but an apartment, all was right in the world once again. That knowledge didn't make Hei feel any better though, because his sister was still pregnant and he was stuck in the Boondocks with a bunch of idiots. Exhaling an aggravated sigh, Hei decided on his own that he would at the very least be buying this entire complex up, then giving a room to Tsukiko and Elisia, taking one for himself and Yuki, and forcing the rest of them to bunk together. It was not as though they would have the right to complain once he owned the land; they would be imposing on his hospitality at that point.
Upon catching the tail end of Lee's question and Hideki's own response to him, Hei uprighted himself and executed a Shunpo to the top of the roof where his frame instantly filled the seat Suzume had brought in for Yuki, apparently unaware that Lee had done the same for her before using Hachigyō Sōgai on the area. His elbows quickly moved to the armrests as he assumed a formal, yet relaxed position of sitting up straight, taking his left hand to his face where he rested his left cheek between his thumb and bent middle finger while his index finger spanned the length of the side of his face, disappearing into his dark locks of hair. His right hand hung over the inner side of the armrest, Hei consistently rubbing his fingers gently together for some unknown reason. His face held the same look of disinterest as always, yet inside he was feeling an abundance of turmoil in regards to his impregnated sister. Normally he would have had no reason to fear another child being on the way- he had money, power, servants, and great parenting skills. Of course, this meant little when faced with the adversity of having to care for his sister and future child while having to deal with the inevitable obligation of making the rest of these fools stronger, which would likely take up a great deal of his time and effort. He made a motion to Yuki and when he got her nod of approval, he exhaled a sigh and shut his eyes for a few seconds and then opened them as he began to speak. "Where do we go from here... It seems you lack the capability of thinking for yourself, so very sad." Taking a pause to let that sink in, Hei took an uninterested glance towards Lee's face, and then began speaking again. "My esteemed colleague is correct, though I wonder if any amount of training even I could give you would be enough to make you more powerful, training is one thing, having the capacity to exceed your current limits is another."
Moving only his arm to the point that his elbow still remained on the armrest, Hei slowly lifted his slender, right index finger and directed it towards Lee, then to everyone else whom he singled out in the next few minutes, skipping over those that weren't present, but berating them anyway. It was a tongue-lashing that he knew they would not take kindly to, but nonetheless had to listen to because Yuki herself was allowing him to speak. "What can become of a Kidō Master whose Kidō skills are so low that even my daughter can make him look like a fool, or of an assassin with one arm? A bumbling hot-head whose skill of rotting away surpasses his skills with a blade or a girl who gets knocked out before the fight even began? A coward who ran away from a war, despite not being ignorant to the consequences of his actions? How about a man who would rather run around in a child's body than lend a hand to protect the place that feeds him, clothes him, pays him, and puts a roof over his head? A fool who would take the time to concern himself with another's Resurrección over the movement of his opponent? What can a young girl, who is far too concerned with her own thoughts and lets her emotions fuel her actions, possibly do against someone of Zenos' caliber, let alone someone stronger? Hmm? And my own daughter, my flesh and blood, was so concerned with her new spouse that she could not immediately take action against opponents that she could bring a swift defeat to in under a few minutes. I know better than that, Tsukiko; I made you. I know your limitations." He tapped his finger on the armrest, maintaining his calm demeanor as he took a short pause as if to consider his next few statements, then continued. "Ask of yourself this, can you all really afford to maintain the same level of power that you now, at this very second, have not managed to increase? Can you afford to stick with your current mindsets and habits that you have not yet seen fit to abandon when you step onto the battlefield? I don't believe you can, not if you don't want a repeat of this day. I am disappointed. I never would have imagined that the captains I so painstakingly raised would be so significantly less capable than I am alone."
Giving a demure wave of his hand to signal that any objections to his statements would be met with indifference, Hei shifted slightly and switched topics by a small degree. "Now that I've made it abundantly clear why you foolish children have managed to lose yet again, I will tell you how we- no I, how I will solve this. Either each of you submit your abilities and Reiryoku to me, not that I imagine that would do much..." His voice trailed off as he reached for the ring that was attached to a gold chain around his neck. Wordlessly entering Shōhisha's Shikai, he wrapped the Seigenshi around his hand and the very second he touched the ring, the air around the ring suddenly turned white, as if an invisible barrier had just made itself apparent, and then shattered like glass and turned to dust. This was due to a 4th dimensional barrier that kept the Hōgyoku in a separate plane of reality than this one, ensuring that no one could reach it but him. When he drew back his hand, it was revealed that he was holding the orb between his thumb and first two fingers, and that ring had suddenly changed positions and was now two inches higher as the chain was shorter. Holding it aloft, he allowed its stifling aura to filter into the furthest reaches of the barrier before he suppressed it with his Shikai. "Or, if you're opposed to me wielding your powers, we use this." Though he remained calm on the outside, inside he was now brimming with anticipation to see how they would react to the thought of becoming Vizard. He had his mind set on both Lee and Hibiki, as he knew their opposition would be rather strong.
[What thread is complete without a long-a** Hei post? blaugh First two paragraphs aren't completely important, mostly just his reaction to her pregnancy and thought process about what happened after he was knocked out cold. Third is semi-important, I suppose. 4th - 6th are the ones that should be read though. razz If anyone missed who he was referring to, that was; Lee, Nu, Tetsunosuke, Eriko, Kato, Yokozuki, Hibiki, Elisia, and Tsukiko in that order.]

Suzume Yuuki, 4th Seat - Division Three
Jinkouteki of the Painted Night Sky
Suzume nodded when Akane told her to hop on, doing so quickly and and hanging on. He was pretty strong, but she was also a small girl. As they reached the rooftop, she slid off his back and walked next to him. She was taken by surprise when he bowed to the Captain-Commander, but she soon did a half-bow herself. Suzume sighed and had a grim face on her. She didn't like it when people had to be punished, but she knew if she objected to Akane's request, it would actually hurt him. She raises her head, "I will take my punishment willingly if you disagree to his reque-" She turned as she heard the male Hakase speaking.
She turns and listens to him lash at the others with his words. Every word having a stinging presence of disappointment. Suzume's look seemed more grimacing than before, as it was also her fault Akane and her were not there to help. They were suppose to be back ten minutes before the invasion had even started, but it turned out that their trip was lengthened by a strange occurance. Suzume watched Hei as he now revealed something. Her eyes gave off a shimmer and she walked forward to Hei. She leans forward, looking at the ring and up to Hei. "You know, it's a way to do it.. but it's not just that.. There's a possibility some of them wont be able to even stand against their Hollow self, isn't that correct? As stated in the report about your.. hollow.. Mr. Hakase.." She lowered her voice as she mention the last part, knowing she may have said the wrong thing.

__[689]__⌠ H i d e k i < ⌂ 朱 出 来 […] 得 血 ろ ⌂ > U c h i r o ⌡ ▬▬▐ J ŭsanB a ntai Taichō Feeling:T h e B e g i n n i n g o f P o w e r "Truth is simply a conception..." Hideki was intently watching Hei as he stood in the lot and then vanished, appearing in the newly placed chair, originally for Yuki. His eyes clenched together as he tried to muffle his chuckle that came after Hei’s obvious comment to Lee. His face however stopped short of insult when Hei mentioned to him. Hideki was somewhat proud of Hei referring to him as esteemed, but he gave no heed to the emotion. His face stayed calm and collected, focused. His body did not move other than him nodding as Hei spoke. He understood everything Hei was speaking of, and that was just before the onslaught that was on the tip of Hei’s tongue. The break that came between, for Hideki, was tense. He could almost feel it in the air. There was a reason Hei was here, and Hideki knew that it was partly for making this feeling. He kept everyone on edge. The truth normally came out with him around. When the others were composed they were more likely to think about what they say. When Hei was present, that was mostly a dream.
All of the points that Hei brought up were viable and truthful information. Lee, from what Hideki had seen, rarely uses his Kidō ability. It was something that he had noted in the few battles he was in with Lee. The second to be commented on was Tetsunosuke. This was so true that Hideki had to refrain from becoming a child and simply prodding Tetsu with a finger and funny face. The next two, he believe, were to Eriko and to Kato. The finishing statements he had naught a clue to whom Hei was speaking of, aside from Elisia and Tsukiko. The others he may have been speaking of Hideki had not noticed in battle. He was relieved, and even more proud, that Hei had not said a thing about him. This, though, also gave him a feeling of worry that his may be coming later.
His ease was settled when Hei brought up his ideas to solve this crisis. Not that it was a bad thing that it was his, but he went out of his way to be sure everyone knew that it was he that would solve it. Hideki watched intently as Hei moved his hand to the ring around his neck, hanging on a chain. He noticed his power envelope it and then pull away as Hei pulled out something that Hideki remembered all too well. His eyes widened and his lips cracked somewhat before he crossed his arms across his chest. “That is the one stone I did not think I was going to have to see used in action again. But of course it will. But of course…” Moving to scan the other with his eyes, Hideki stepped forward a few steps, stopping around 8 feet from Hei’s seat. “It is a hassle to have to lower myself to their kind to become more powerful, but the thought of a change such as this intrigues me to no end. I am for this new rendition. In fact, I am willing to undergo the process first.” Eyeing Lee, Hideki took a breath. “Aside from Lee, I believe I am the only one here who knows exactly what this will look like, what it will feel like. I am willing to go first to reveal this to everyone.”
Hideki lifted an eyebrow and looked to Hei before touching the spoke where his previous wound was. “It seems getting it healed was simply a blanket for what will come. I am ready when you are Hei-Taichō.” Moving his hands away from his chest, Hideki stood with his right hand out, ready to place the Hōgyoku into his chest, unless of course Hei was going to do it. Hideki did not know if it was going to hurt, but if it did, he was going to bite his tongue as best he could to avoid showing it too. And with that, Hideki waited. He was ready for the future, and sought it within his mind, ready for anything.
"...Where nothing is in stone."
