Date: June 06
Stage: Toddler
Met with: Fitzroy
Guardian: Caspian; didn't meet
Situation: ???
Roleplay: Adelle flapped her newly-grown wings awkwardly as she walked through the large school building, half-hiding behind her mother from all of the students who were currently attending, all of whom were MUCH older than she was. Why did she have to go to school with so many big kids? Adhara said they were there to 'check out the kindergarten classes', but that didn't really explain much, especially since Adelle didn't know what kindergarten was.
Fitzroy sat contentedly on the blue plastic chair outside the kindergarten classroom, doodling nonsense with his favorite red crayon as he waited for his daddy to come back from using the potty. He hummed to himself as he worked, 'sketching' out a scene of a dinosaur dancing with an octopus. As he glanced up to think about the drawing, his eyes caught sight of a lot of purple. Blinking in surprise, he gasped as he saw a tall pretty lady and a small pretty girl down the hall. What was most surprising was that they both had wiggly bits, uh, tentacles! And the little girl had little wings that were the same color as his! Smiling widely to himself, he immediately began drawing the two, wishing he had brought more colors along. He'd give it to them when they came by.
Adelle bounced along happily as she usually did, brown eyes darting around everywhere as they usually did. It was in that way that she caught sight of a little boy with wings and green-splotched skin. Her face went from curiously to insanely excited as she started jumping up and down, pointing toward the boy ecstatically. "Mama, mama, lookit, lookit, it's a kid, it's one'a the 'Cility kids, mama, LOOKIT!!" she demanded, yanking at her mom's skirt. Adhara glared slightly, turning to the side too look at where her daughter was pointing. "Yes, sweetheart, there are a lot of us. But I have to work on some papers. Go ahead, go say hi."
As soon as the words were out of her mouth, Adelle was jumping up and down beside the little boy. "Omigawsh, hi!!" she squealed happily, flapping and waving excitedly with both hands and her right tentacle.
Fitzroy looked up from his hasty drawing and smiled widely, happy that the girl had approached him. He wiggles his legs happily, waving his hand even though she was near. That was how you said hello to people, after all; his daddy had said. "Hi!! I dreweded a pikkiture of you and, ah, yer mama, right? Yeah, yeah, you're bof real purty and purple and so I drewed you!" He proudly ripped the drawing off of the notebook and showed it to the girl, obviously proud. He gasped quietly as he remembered something else that his daddy had said, and he smiled even wider, the grin reflected by his tummy-mouth. "Nicey to meetchu! I'mma Fizroy, 'nd dis is Paccy-man!" he said happily, pointing to his semi-sentient tummy-mouth as he was introduced. The mouth panted happily at the mention of its name, tongue tasting the air for the new flavors the wings and tentacle brought to it.
