The sand was warm as the tiny granules ran through her fingers. For the first time in her life the girl was without her older sister. While nearby her father watched casually over the top of his book, there was still a passive sense of loneliness as she watched the sand mount into a small pile. The girl hadn't necessarily protested when the solo outing was suggested, but a sense of reluctance hung about her as she shifted the sands and cast her hidden gaze around the playground. Patience...she knew if she stuck it out long enough she'd get to go home. But what was she supposed to do until then? Napping was always an option, but the boisterous noise of the other children made this endeavor a bit more challenging, despite even being the expert that she was at dozing off. Rather, she settled for daydreaming, leaning upon the plywood border as she watched the other children. While she didn't know any of them, each one slowly evolved into their own story as she allowed her mind to wander away from everything else.

Adelle's light purple dress opened in a ballooning fashion as she jumped off the edge of the playground, giggling shrilly and flapping her metal wings, 'mama watch me!!' coming from her lips each time she crawled back to the top of the playground. Each time, amber eyes watched the little girl, and clapping from her mother followed every time the small one landed on her knees in the woodchips, though the celebration wasn't without wincing.
There was finally a time, however, when the cry did not reach the elde Lust demoness' ears, and instead, Adelle's brown eyes were on a pretty little girl who'd struck her attention. She jumped from the playground once again to fall to her knees and scrambled back up, hurrying over to the sandbox where the little girl lay, a bright smile on her face. "Hello there," she squeaked. "M'names Adelle, who are you? Gosh, your tail is really pretty." she giggled, reaching out to pet the girl's tail. "I love its little feathers...!!"
