A dedicated fire was in the eyes of the pretty little brunette as she grinned at the swingset, wings flapping a few times confidently. She'd been trying to fly since she'd grow wings that were in the proper form to support flight. Unfortunately, last time she'd attempted, she'd moved them wrong and they'd gotten caught in the swing. Which wasn't as bad as what had happened before that, when she'd managed to cut one of the chains somehow -it was an old playground- and she'd fallen to the ground painfully.
This time, however, it would be different. This time, she would actually get into the air. She nodded firmly to herself and got onto the swing, on her knees at first, before she slowly and carefully pulled herself to her feet, wobbling slightly before she grinned, body trembling as it usually did as she carefully pulled herself so that her wings were adjusted properly and wouldn't get stuck. Moving her legs and feet, she started swinging herself carefully back and forth, black hair swishing about her face as she did so. She would get into the air this time, she swore it.
"Uhh... 'Dhara? 'Delle's trying to fly again," Aludra said nervously, tapping at his recently crossword-obsessed sister's hand curiously. she glanced up and chuckled softly, smiling a bit and glancing over at Aludra with a shrug. "Well, she can't hurt herself too bad yet, and as long as she's not jumping off a building, I won't worry too much about her, and you shouldn't either, alright?" she offered with a soft smile. Aludra seemed skeptic, but accepted the reason well enough.

Mareike jogged down the sidewalk a determined look on the young woman's face. She had an important tennis tournament coming up this weekend, the winner of which would be offered a paid teaching assistant job for the summer lessons of beginner students. If the wrath child could win it;s not only prove she was better than her fellow students but also that she could get a job even a temp summer one without her father's help. The thistle haired girl's pride was on the line in more way than one.
It was only as she spotted a strange looking trio that the maroon skinned teen stopped to jog in place, losing momentum but continuing to exercise and keep her heart rate up regardless. Were those other facility spawn?

Adelle grinned to herself as she pumped up higher and higher, before finally starting to flap her wings with the motion of the swing, down as she went back, up as she moved forward, and finally she jumped up and off! Her wings caught the air and she flapped as hard as she could, though not in very good sync, and managed to actually hover a couple seconds before her honey-brown eyes caught sight of a tri-clops who appeared to be jogging in place only a few feet away.
The girl dropped as she snapped her wings against her back, falling right smack onto her knees before getting up and running over toward the much older female, a bright smile on her face. "Hi dewe!! Er, I mean, hi the-rrre," Adelle said, correcting herself almost immediately, as a previous threat had involved putting her in speech therapy if she couldn't learn to calm herself and actually speak properly.
"My gosh, you have reeeaaally pretty hair and skin! You've got three eyes, too, just like Iah's daddy, Duncan!!" she squealed, bouncing up and down and flapping her metal wings happily. "'Cept I like youw- your eyes a li'l bit more, 'cause they're more prettier. Duncan's eyes are all different colours. Do you know Duncan?" the toddler prattled, bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet excitedly, smiling at the female with a happiness that was either contagious or irritating in most situations.

Mareike nodded as she watched the girl and listened to the small child ramble." I have met Duncan before." Less often than she probably should have considering he was her best friends boyfriend, then again two wrath children together in one place was rarely a good idea. The metal winged girl whoever she was was certainly energetic and Mareike admired that in a person.
With her main eyes centered on the girl before her Maerike let her third focus on the other two spawn, one of whom she recognized. It took only a moment for The maroon skinned young woman to realize that the girl before her was much more than just another facility spawn. Some part of her raged at what it meant but the girl's morals kept her from taking her anger out on the child before her.
" You're very pretty yourself" the compliment was an honest one, the girl was rather cute in that way all small children were. Well except for pepper who was less cute as a kid than charming in a way that made you want to wring his neck for being a brat

Adelle squealed at the compliment, giggling in her girly, childish manner as she wiggled around happily, smiling at the older girl, brown eyes wide and happy. "Thank you veeer' much, miss!!" she said sweetly, jumping up and down a bit as she stood in front of the other. Finally, her eyes caught sight of the others wings and her jaw dropped.
"Oh my God- I mean, gosh," she corrected, having been reprimanded one too many times by her uncle that she wasn't supposed to take the Lord's name in veins, whatever that meant, she wasn't completely sure. "You've got wings just like Momma's!! Ohmygosh, my gosh, does that mean that you can fly, too? I want to fly sosoSO much, but I don't know how to yet. Momma says that she doesn't think my wings are 'biwt for flight', but Auntie Lir'nax says that if I try and I try and try and try and try s'more that someday I'll be able to fly just like Momma can!!"
She squealed a bit more and wriggled around, grinning up at the other. "Oh oh, rightrightright- my name's Adelle. Adelle Marianna By'arre!!" she said happily, smiling at the older one with those pointed little fangs of her's. "What's your name?"

Ok maybe the girl had too much energy and not enough focus, that could become irritating. " I"m Mareike , I can fly but I don't normally " It was rarely more convenient than walking. She eyed the girls wings closer for a moment " I wouldn't try flying with those, focus your time on trying things your body was built for."

Adelle grinned at the sound of the older girl's name and wiggled a bit, sounding it out aloud before looking Mareike top-to-bottom and nodding firmly. "I like your name, it's rully pretty, and it matches you really well, too, I think," she stated sweetly, giving the wrath spawn a wide grin, one of her little fangs poking out the corner of her mouth.
Slowly, her vibrating stopped, and her wings fluttered only a few more times as she looked up at Mareike -and her beautiful wings- with a sorrowful expression on her face, wings 'folding' as well as they could against her back. "Y'mean... I won't be able to fly like you or Mama...?" she asked, eyes getting a bit watery. Wiping at one of them, however, she gathered herself enough to try and distract from that which was making her sad. "Like what other kinda things should I do instead...?"
