Dear Diary; Oh. Dear. Gods. I, of all people, am going to be a mother! Flea markets are evil, I swear! You are most likely wondering what I am rambling about; I apologize, dearest paper friend. Let me start from the beginning, as to not confuse you. Again, sincerest apologies. Our local drive-in hosted a community flea market this past weekend, so Mother, the twins, Nattie, Aesica, and I went to peruse the bargains. We each were given some spending money by Mother (except Aesica, of course; she is still just an infant) and were let loose among the tables and stalls. I found this really pretty stone snake. I feel a bit guilty; I do not deserve such pretty things, but this is besides the matter. I bought it, spending five of my dollars on it. THat was all I bought; I ended up loaning the rest to Zemel so he could acquire some cookbooks. All went in a rather normal fashion after that. We came home afterward, Zemel and I cooked dinner (We cooked our specialty: chicken Parmesan and brioche with cheese wedges), and we watched a movie in the living room. We ended up watching RENT, which is about the fourth time we've seen it this week alone. All of us know the songs by heart. I then helped Mother by putting Aesica to bed and corralling Ginger and Zemel to bed shortly afterwards. And, after reading my books for a while (oh, how I love to works of Eric Carle!), I myself headed to bed. Nothing out of the ordinary. Yet. I had this wierd dream. There were these two men there, which is odd. Usually, my dreams base people off of the ones I know, or have at least seen, in real life. I've never seen anyone like these people. They told me the stone I bought today was going to turn into an infant. I shook my head, trying to explain to them. No, it couldn't be an infant. It's just a stone statuette I bought at a flea market. It can't turn into a baby; it just can't! I was going to say more, but then, I was woken up to Mother's dog, Circe, chewing on my hair. Ew. Circe is now sitting outside my closed door, whimpering because I locked her out. That little rock I bought can't possibly turn into a child....can it? I mean, is that even possible? Then again, Ginger, Zemel, and Nataya were born of cabbages and Aesica was born from magic. And I myself was born in a lab. So.....could it be possible? I hope not. I'm not ready to be a mother! I have no job, no way to support a child, and I still live with my mother and four siblings in Mother's four bedroom house. I sincerely hope that it was simply just an odd dream. And odd, peculiar dream, but a dream none the less. I should try and fall back asleep; it is only the wee hour of four in the morning. But, I figured I should write down this odd dream before I forgot it in the morning, along with the days events. The stone serpent is now sitting upon my dresser near the empty frame which once housed my mirror. I think I'll put a pillow under it and a blanket over it. If it is housing a sentient child (which I hope it is not), I should do what I can to make it comfortable. Ginger would laugh if she saw me; I am most glad that she is asleep now. I apologize, Diary, for neglecting you so lately. I only seem to write in here when something troubling happens. Please, forgive me. Well, forgive me as well as a book of bound pages can. Sincerely, Azubahiel Izevel

"Mama Zu! Mama Zu!" The little snake girl pounced on the sleeping form under the covers, giggling as she felt her mother jump. "Gotted you, Mama Zu! 'Cared you! Up now? Play?" The little girl pushed herself up with her arms, bouncing a bit on her mother as she waited for her to get up. Didn't Mama know sleepy time was over now? Was play time now!
Azubahiel jolted awake as Cabonna landed on her, bolting up into a sitting position. She yawned, rubbing her eyes as she turned to look at the clock. "BonBon, it's only four in the morning...." she murmured, stretching her arms up over her head. What was it with her daughter feeling the need to wake her up at all odd hours of the night and early morning?
"Play time." Cabonna confirmed, nodding. "Fud first, then play! Peas, Mama Zu?" The little girl bounced a bit more for emphasis before giving her best cute face. Which was pretty darn cute, even at four in the morning.
'Zuba smiled a little, scooping the little girl up in her arms.
((will finish when I get home) (( Never mind, scrap'd ))

The green-haired betzazel was busy tearing up the living room, his usual sunshiny grin replaced with a distressed pout. “Where is it? I just had it...” BonBon murmured, pulling the couch cushion up above his head to look beneath it, yellow-green eyes peering into its lint-filled depths. The boy narrowed his eyes, scanning among the dark crevices for the familiar silvery glint of his penny whistle. He had to find it if he wanted to show his mommies the new song he'd taught himself!
Yellow eyes watched the boy a moment, the head that held them tilted to the side in curiosity. “Ni?” the little shadow inquired, toddling over to her older brother. “Nini ni nii?” Nini looked over BonBon's shoulder, into the mysterious cavern that was the living room couch. She then giggled, slowly shaking her head. “Ni. Ninini ni nini.” Silly BonBon, there were now shinies down there! She'd already raided the couch; it was the first stop on her daily shiny search, in which she gathered all the spare change a shadow could want.
“Hey Nini...” the boy said glumly, looking over to the little black jellowy blob of a child. He looked back to the couch, sighing and letting the cushion fall back into place. “Have you seen my flute-thingy? Coulda swore I left it in heres...you know, the silvery one with the Hello Kitty stickers on it?” It was a long shot, but hey, couldn't knock him for trying. Hmm, shiny with a kitty sticker? The shadow paused, thinking and going over her mental list of collected shinies. When that, along with her memory, failed, the little shadow began sorting through her collection. Nini reached into her mouth, pulling out a gold ring. No, that wasn't it. The little shadow repeated the process, the pile of shinies growing besde her. In all, she produced eight rings, 28k in gold, 14 pennies, ten necklaces, 3 rolex watches, a plethora of pocket watches and lockets, five engagement rings, six wedding rings, four kitchen knives, an onslaught of keys, and a truckload of small, random metal bits and pieces. There was still more in the bottomless pit of a shadow, but she'd found the desired item.
“Ni!” Nini said proudly, holding the cheap aluminum instrument out to BonBon. She than begain to store her shinies once more, packing them away as she hummed to herself. The little shadow was simply glowing with pride; she'd found the missing item! She'd found the missing item! Nevermind that she was the reason it couldn't be found in the first place; what mattered was that she found it!
BonBon stared at the pile of stuff before looking back to the little shadow it came out of. The boy was quiet for a moment, simply standing there and holding the penny whistle. That was just so...so... “That's totally wicked!” the candy cane snake exclaimed, a grin spreading across his face. “How d'ya fit all o' that in you? Where'd you get all of that? That's totally awesome, Nini!'
Nini smiled, in a manner that could almost be described as smug. With a “Ni” that sounded an awful lot like “I know,”, the little shadow made her exit, toddling off proudly as she went back to hunting for shinies, leaving her brother to play the noisy shiny.

Dear Diary,
I am going to be a grandmother. You heard right: I. Am. Going. To. Be. A. Grandmother. I'm torn between excitement and horror; my little BonBon is with child, and has been for some time. I would have told you sooner, my ever-faithful companion, but I've been trying to process it myself. No, he didn't go to a labs like Adhi and I did, nor did he go about it the natural way. My dear, dear little boy found a potion while out and about. And drank it. Good heavens, I thought we were past this stage! Apparently, I was wrong.
BonBon is much to young to become a mother father. He's still just a child himself! My poor, dear, sweet little BonBon. He doesn't seem to worried about parenthood thus far, but I think that is because he doesn't know what it entails. All he knows is that babies are cute and he's having one. I've tried sitting down and explaining it to him, explaining that it is hard work. I'm not sure how much of that got through; if it did, it hasn't dampened his outlook on the situation: he's excited. And, to an extent, so am I, but worry is overriding it. Diary, I wish you could speak and give me advice. Sadly, you are only paper, and can only listen.
We aren't sure what gender the baby is going to be, so in our preparations, we've been sticking to gender neutral things. Luckily, little Zekharyah just recently grew, so we already have a lot of the basics, like clothing and furniture. And, thank goodness, BonBon doesn't mind the hand-me downs. Ryah, on the other hand, isn't so keen on it. But, at the very least, he isn't throwing a tantrum over it.
Hopefully, things are going to work out alright. But, I suppose I will just have to wait and see.
Sincerely, Azubahiel Izevel
