This was awesome! Totally, one hundred percent awesome. The candycane snake was happy as a peach, smile threatening to split his face in half as he dragged the other boy down the sidewalk, making his way back to his home. It was decided, as far as BonBon was concerned. His friend was coming over and staying for dinner and a sleep-over. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. It was a done deal in the young snake's mind.
The boy let out a happy giggle, giving the arm he was currently dragging Seraophin by a gentle squeeze. "Are you excited? I'm excited! We're going to have all sorts of fun! We can watch movies and play board games and make muffins - OH MY GOSH, MUFFINS! - Muffins sound really really good right now, don't they? And you can meet Mom and Mom and Nini and say hi to the baby belly and you can meet the cat and fish toos!" BonBon somehow managed to let all of this spill without having to pause once for breath. Sometimes, one had to wonder if the boy even used his lungs at all.

Seraophin couldn't explain the charm. Of Bonna BonBon, that was. It was something that he hadn't before noticed or experienced, and something that he was... well, both fond of and a little bothered by, frankly. The pull was something fierce, enchanting in its mystery and the distant promise of something he couldn't fathom but knew beyond the shadow of a doubt that he wanted. Yet likewise, it was a pull he couldn't resist; a choke collar wrapped around his neck, forever targeted on the sweet candycane's perfume.
With a sharp shake of the head, he tried to empty his mind of such... devious thoughts, though that wasn't helped by the 'open' way that his father had raised him. A preteen with mind pollution on par with that of a teenager. The thoughts captured him again without even the slightest remorse, hovering about his mind and capturing his focus from the real thing. That was until a surprising tug caused him to momentarily trip over his feet, forcing his focus back upon the pied piper who was spiriting him away from the streets he'd been skulking. He could have sworn he was keeping up with the adventurous corn snake, but it seemed they just kept gaining speed.
The taciturn hybrid smiled placidly as BonBon spoke, lengthy tail slithering through the grass behind them. "Muffins?" he spoke, furred ears perking up a bit. Food was always the top of his priority list ( though BonBon was definitely trying to take that spot ), and the mere mention of such pastries set his stomach to growling. "...what kind'a muffins can we make...?"

The young betzazel had no idea what he did to the other boy; none what so ever. Nor did he know what thoughts he inspired in Seraophin. All he knew is that they were the bestest buddies ever, as he put it. He loved being close to Sera, wrestling out those little smiles from his friend and doing what he could to make him happy. There was another feeling in there, a warm fluttery type that reared up sometimes, but there wasn't a word in BonBon's vocab to properly describe it. It was a nice feeling, though, so he wasn't too worried.
BonBon grinned and giggled, nodding his head. "Yep yep! Muffins!" he confirmed, wiggling happily at the thought. Mmmm, yummy! Nice, warm, freshly-baked muffins...he could hardly wait! "We can make all sorts! Blueburry, chocolate chip, poppy seed...maybe we can make gummy worm ones..." That sounded yummy! It'd be worth a shot, right? Of course!
"What's your favorite kind of muffin?" the boy asked, smiling back at his quieter companion. "Mine's the double chocolate ones with fudge in the center, and they're super nummy, but the chocolate gets everywhere, but that's okay. I like the mint lemon ones, too, but we dun make those often but that's okay too."

The descriptions of different varieties of food only set the beast within Seraophin's stomach to more snarling, snapping upwards in hopes of a physical manifestation of those syllables. With the hand not held captive, he rubbed at his stomach gently, assuaging it for the long-lasting moments before there would be muffins. The slight smile on his lips widened a bit more at all the sorts they would be able to make, though he was certainly taken aback by the idea of gummy worm muffins. He cocked a teal eyebrow and smiled softly at this pink-and-purple friend of his, chuckling faintly.
"I wonder how well those would work out... or taste, for that matter," he said with an amused smirk, trying to visualize the combination of gummy worms and an oven... and muffin dough ( that was what you made muffins with, right? ). Then again, he wasn't going to complain, regardless. They could be cakes baked of lard and raisins and he wouldn't object so long as he was being fed. It wouldn't be a surprise to anyone aware of his thoughts that the idea of BonBon being covered in chocolate brought a fairly saturated blush to rise to the surface of his yellowed skin, tail tip flicking slightly.
"Ah, my favourite muffin?" he spoke, reeling his mind out of the gutter and back to the subject at hand. This he had to take into consideration, though it was certainly rather difficult. He hadn't tried many, but of the ones that he had... "I believe I had one that was cinnamon and sugar once, with melt-y brown sugar on top of it. I think that was my favourite," he answered with an assured nod. "Though I can't say for certain; I haven't tried many different muffin types yet."

"They'd taste awesome of course!" BonBon chirped cheerfully, grinning from ear to ear before explaining his completely reliable train of logic. "Gummy worms are yummy, and muffins are yummy, so together, they should be super yummy." The boy was completely unaware of the other's less-than-PG thoughts, his own focused on sugar treats and the making/eating of said goodies with his bestest friend evers.
"Cinnamon muffins are yummy; we can make some!" The boy grinned, but as the rest of the statement hit his ears, his eyes widened. "Haven't tried that many? Well, we'll fix that! We can fix lots and lots of muffins and you can try them all and we can make up our own muffins and they will be delicious!" Again. another stream of chatter that seemed to go on without need of breath.
The boy grinned as the house came into view, and turned back to point it out to Seraophin. He paused, blinking and tilting his head to the side. "Why's your face all red?" he asked, curious. He knew it was blushing, but he didn't know why his friend would be. Were muffins an embarrassing subject?
