What makes me write? Music. It's my inspiration and I love listening to new music to get new ideas. It's what keeps me going and gets me through the day.

I find that if I want to use a dream, I have to write it down and let it settle for awhile before I can do much with it. I've also had dreams where I was sitting at the computer writing! Those are spooky.
Music is very inspirational. I don't think there's an author out there who would claim otherwise. Except maybe Raymond Chandler, and he's dead~.

So i fall asleep watching old animated movies at night. I've watched them all so many times that I'll finish the whole movie in my dream. Music is the only trans-lingual trans-cultural anything out there...even good video games have to be translated, but i can listen to music in another language and have at least a general idea of what's going

It can't have lyrics, or if they do they have to be unrecognizable to me. Lyrics get in the way of my thought processes, and I'm more in tune with how the sound makes me feel, not how the lyrics make me feel. Nothing ruins a good beat like lyrics that don't match my mood. stressed Which is why I listen to a lot of music in other languages, or bands like Sigur Ros, who's lyrics mostly sound more like another instrument rather than words. And drum and bass, that stuff is awesome.

I get inspired by music, other writing, the random happenings of my real life friends. Also, I get ideas from nature itself; the quiet lushness of the forests around my house, the cry of a crow on a crisp fall day are all sources of ideas.

Both of more recent projects were, as was my current pet project and several older ones. Just about every story I write as at least some dream inspiration in it.

It's having constant stories and people and ideas and things in my head that are practically screaming to be let out. I have so much passion for so many 'worlds' of people, and events and stories and characters, and I NEED to write their stories and get it out. Also, different stories are inspired by different things. Looking outside and seeing the wind blow the trees and smelling the whatever it is I smell from like... nature... and so on makes me want to write more of my one story. And so on. Blah. I just always have to write things. I seem to get ideas from anywhere, and those small ideas turn into giant worlds of people and so on.

Hmm, I've been inspired by dreams, conversations with friends, my own experiences, and my much-too-vivid-for-my-own-good imagination! Lol. Sometimes I am inspired by emotions, that is when I write poetry... It's strange, but I get inspired by the weirdest things sometimes! XD I write a lot of fanfiction too...

Most of my ideas come from normal life. Just hanging out with friends or family, someone (typically I do this part) says something stupid, and I write a song/story about it. Yesterday, I rented out a math textbook to keep at home, and a Grade Report for a Mister "Joshua Bang" was left there. I plan to write a song about the life I have fabricated about him.

keo-bas I get inspire to write by everything. My creativity how ever is driven from other writers works and media entertainment. I agree, sometimes I get inspired by reading stuff by other writers. In fact I think that when I read "Eragon" that really helped inspire me to do my own story. When I finished that book, I think that was the moment I decided that I really, truly wanted to write a book. Other writers can be so inspiring... Sometimes just looking up stuff on the internet. XD

What makes me write...Hmm... I've never really thought about it before. I've always told stories, just from my imagination really. Music helps a lot though razz

I would say the main reason I write is because I have so many stories in my head that it is impossible not to write. I get inspiration from music, real life, dreams, and things I've read. Sometimes ideas just form in my head from seemingly nowhere.
